Nobu is a No Go on any future trip to Bahamas
I understood that the prices anywhere from Ben and Jerrys to Nobu are inflated while vacationing in the Bahamas but the experience at Nobu was terrible. We had 2 families (2 adults and 2 teenagers each). Waiter never asked if the adults wanted a drink, seemed disinterested while rattling off any menu questions. Another younger waiter actually was flagged down to get us utensils and water. With 4 teenagers the food portions are not going to fill any of them up and it didn't. We went to the walk in Pizza joint in the Marina after dinner and had a great experience with the staff (friendly, joking, asked us to come back, etc...) and the kids loved it, large slices. After delivering the small portions at Nobu (fish and chips I had was 5 potato wedge size fried pieces of fish and 5 fatter than the normal steak fries stacked like a hash mark, for $35. Waiter never came back to see how the meal was, if we needed anything else. When we asked for the bill he had the nerve to ask if we wanted dessert. Nobu may be a romantic expensive dinner with a couple but with teenage kids would not recommend it. From the portion size to the terrible attitude from this waiter not worth it in my opinion.

I witnessed a autistic child pushed out of the way , a 14 year old called a bitch as someone jumped in front of her. I myself was pushed into the way of a coming car. A elderly lady on oxygen being shoved. At one point at the royal towers over 50 people waiting to catch a shuttle and all running towards them when they came. Some is going to get killed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You must set up lines at each tower including harborside and monitor the crowds or your going to have someones blood on your hands,, Inexcusable!!!!!

This was our first time eating here but our friends have gone here before. Our waiter told us about how they bring everything out but the sushi is last we asked to not do that. My friends said they were never told about this before. Well even though we asked to have the sushi come out in the beginning, it still came out last. By the time we got there they had no more dumplings. We were all looking forward to it. Food was good, just a little disorganized.

Tourists BEWARE - Atlantis will try to take advantage of you. The day we arrived at port there were 4 total cruise ships at port due to some rerouting because of hurricane Beryl. Basically, Nassau got an unexpected influx of people who were rerouted to the Bahamas from other destinations on their cruises. Atlantis made sure to capitalize on this. First, we were met by an Atlantis employee who stopped us, asked us what we needed, and we politely asked where we could get tickets to the aquarium, she told us we could not get tickets to the aquarium because it's closed until 12pm and we could come back then. I asked what we should do in the meantime as that was a two hour gap for us with two toddlers and she said you can walk around. We went to the front desk of the hotel, and we were told that the aquarium is never closed and that it certainly is not closed until noon. We were directed to the day pass desk where they were charging $195 per person. There was no other way to access the aquarium without paying this outrageous fee and they were guards at the door to make sure no one could access without a wristband. Why was there no reasonable fee to just walk through the aquarium? Why take advantage of tourists and make them pay a huge fee just to take a three-year-old and a one-year-old through the aquarium? Disappointed is an understatement. What a hassle for us with the kids. We will not be returning to Atlantis.
arrived at 11 a.
m. and was told they would do there best to get us in before the 4p.m. check in time. it's 4:30 p.m. and they still have no answer as to when we will get in our room. we flew from California, so it was a long flight to get here. We are quite unhappy with our treatment thus far.

The food was good but not worth the price. The quality of the meals were average for any regular sushi place. Nothing special and yet very expensive
We have always loved being able to vacation at the Atlantis
We have always loved being able to vacation at the Atlantis Resort. Unfortunately after our trip this time that all changed. We were so happy with the staff and everyone we've been able to make friendships with over the last two years, however that has changed. We were met with charges at check out that did not equate to what we were supposed to be charged and then told our room credit would not be applied at check out. So to not only be charged for things that we did not do or use, and then be told our credit was not valid was absolutely ridiculous. Make sure you have things in writing and check your charges daily. We will be taking our business to other properties moving forward, which we hate but to be lied to and cheated is not the way to end your vacation.
Loved the sushi and Wagyu tacos
The only restaurant we liked during our stay at Atlantis was Nobu. The food was excellent and the staff were generally nicer than the other restaurants. Worth a visit.
Terrible
Terrible from start to finish. Have been to many Nobu's and had a great experience. This place was not one of them. We were sat at a terrible table by the waiter station despite requesting a good table. Moved to a better table. The wine never arrived and had to ask the waiter repeatedly for it. Eventually told they didn't have it so ordered another bottle. That didn't arrive so just requested a glass as half our food had already arrived and been eaten. Our sashimi platter never arrived. After waiting an age we cancelled the order and the waiter just didn't seem to care. What we did get was poor quality (overcooked beef skewers) and ridiculously expensive.
Food was delicious, staff was even better
This dinner was absolutely fantastic. We sat and had dinner at the bar. Ramond was our bartender/waiter and he made the experience even better. Friendly, funny, and very courteous. Can’t wait to be back!
Mixed Feelings
A bit overhyped. Yes the miso-marinated cod was excellent but there was nothing special about the sushi rolls. We sampled few dishes in family-style dining - the "unusual" dishes were very good but more common dishes were average.

The food was amazing, attentive staff and excellent wine collection even though I am not much of a wine drinker 😜 . Will definitely be back. Lovely atmosphere too.

The weather is always perfect, that's the most enjoyable at the Atlantis. Booked our trip for the family in Sept 2023 for Mother's Day 2024 thru the hotel. Rooms not ready for over 3 hourts from ETA at hotel, no hospitatlity lounge, no hospitality. People sleeping on the lounges in the lobby, pretty disgraceful. Bathrooms not manitained, Toilet seats cracked, walls plastered and not re-painted. Room was not ready until 4:30 PM, toilet ran all night and not given ocean view as requested. Food was the biggest disappointment, NOBU not like LA or NYC, Steak at Seafire grill was complete fat, Cafe Martinque was awful, food a disgrace, service there a match. Check out was as bad, didn't have food plan for the bill, paid for 4, only removed three, have to follow up. In addition there's a 10% VAT(government fee on everything) anda 15% gratuity on everything. Quite the disappointment, I will never go back, but maybe try the BAHA MA by Hyatt. Shame on the management at the Atlantis!!!
Really great
When we visit Atlantis we eat at Nobu and love this place. Every part of the dinning experience was really great. We never felt rushed by the wait staff, if we come again we eat here again.
We had a mediocre day at Atlantis.
We stopped into the water park as part of our cruise call. The hotel and waterpark seem nice enough, but there's nothing here, or in Nassau in general, that you can't get in the US. First off, the water park is on the opposite side of the resort from the entrance; it took upwards of 30 minutes just to get there. Then once you're there, the park itself is very confusing. It's really just 6 water slides, 3 pools, and a kids area. We were looking forward to a swim, but couldn't because the water was FREEZING. Food options were disappointing for what is supposed to be a luxury island destination; nothing but overpriced hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken strips, which they apparently ran out of bc they didn't make it to the last ship. The beach is nice, though the jet ski rides are ridiculously expensive. Also worth noting, many of the shops and stores are closed on Sunday. Not the worst resort in the world, but I feel like there are better experiences to be had elsewhere in the Caribbean.

10/10 service and food as usual from Nobu. Nobu classics and local specials were excellent. Our server David was awesome !!!
A must when at Atlantis
We booked this a few weeks before arriving. Everything we ordered was fantastic. We have dined at many restaurants, and this is definitely one of our favorites. Quality food, beautifully prepared and delicious. The service was excellent. We highly recommend it. It's definitely a highlight of our stay at Atlantis.

My time at nubo was an amazing experience form the apps to the mean course was outstanding our server was also attentive but not over bearing us … Chantel was thee best she made sure that my birthday was amazing ♥️I would recommend this restaurant for sure …And as for chantel she needs an award 🥇 just amazing 😌
reliably good but expensive
This is perhaps the ONLY reliably good restaurant in Paradise Island, Bahamas. If you are a fan of Nobu, or just enjoy decent sushi, you can trust that the dishes here are prepared properly. Good combination of hot dishes and traditional sushi. As usual, everything is overpriced because this is Bahamas and also on the Atlantis resort. Expect to pay double or triple what you would at Nobu in the USA. But still, a very quality experience with friendly staff.

I never review, so that may tell you something. Such a disappointment. Went to Nobu in Vegas years ago and enjoyed it. Tonight, one person in our party got his entree 20 mins before anyone else, so he was done long before the next person got his. He was done for 10 mins before the final 2 people got their food. Just super awkward and not a fine dining experience. Food was fine but not memorable. No one came to our table to say hello after we were seated for 20 mins…. I could go on. For the price, we were very surprised. Can’t recommend it.

We were celebrating a 25th and 30th birthday and thought Nobu would be an excellent way to spend our birthdays, big mistake. Although we had arrived early, we were not seated until 15 minutes past our reservation time. Despite being asked if we were celebrating a special occasion at the time of reservation and mentioning it on the day no extra effort was made. The food was ok but luke warm despite taking a long time to arrive and not arriving simultaneously for all members of the table. Service was generally very slow to the point where we could not order dessert because the kitchen was closing by then, but the waiters themselves were fairly friendly which was literally the only positive. After experiencing a sub-par birthday dinner for 2/3 members of the party and dampening our trip to the Bahamas from the UK, a member of our party raised concerns with the waiter regarding the gratuity fee automatically applied to our bill as dinner had been underwhelming. The waiter advised that we would need to speak to his manager who came to the table shortly after. IF RUDE WAS A PERSON IT WOULD BE THE MANAGER (MISS PARKER). After expressing our dismay with dinner and the seemingly non-optional gratuity fee Miss Parker informed us that we should have called for management at each point we were unhappy with the service and she would not be removing the gratuity fee (considering the factors above we would have been calling management all night). After what I would call horrendous hospitality we were ready to pay for the meal and leave the vicinity. After removing cash from my purse Miss Parker sharply told me that Atlantis is cash-free and they would not accept cash, which is no problem and I asked for the card machine to be brought to the table. After a few minutes Miss Parker returned to say (not accompanied by an apology) that the card machine was not working and we would need to pay via other means i.e. the same cash she just told me was not an acceptable means of payment. At this point I was NOT impressed, and questioned this sudden change of policy and to no surprise I was met with more hostile and aggresive behaviour. To avoid any more confrontation I gave Miss Parker the cash payment and we left the vicinity. Safe to say we will NEVER be returning to Nobu Bahamas, this branch lets the whole brand down, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

It’s a beautiful dark wood restaurant right off of the casino. It has a really long sushi bar and a very long cocktail bar with a large walk in, bar seating area. - We got there about 515 and within 30 minutes the bar and restaurant went from no one to lines out the door! -The young gentleman, bartender was friendly and warm and attentive. - We moved from the bar to a table in the bar. The restaurant became so busy within minutes, we were waiting on for another 40 minutes or so even though we asked four times, as gently as we could!, if we could order some food. The food came very after we finally ordered. The waiter was super busy, but courteous. - The food was absolutely remarkable. It lived up to every glowing review I’ve ever read about it. ****** Even though reservations are strongly suggested and they book out a few days, that bar area is huge and it’s walk-in so you can get fed if you get there before maybe 530-545.

I just got back from trip to Atlantis, with my grandkids, and had a great time. We stayed at the Reef but spent most of our time at the Royal. the amenities there, especially their water features were top rate. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Getting around was very easy with the shuttle service they provide. The negatives in my opinion were that food generally were mediocre but expensive.
Nobu the good and the so-so
We ordered the black cod with miso, beef toban yaki, and chicken teriyaki. The cod is excellent, the chicken is surprisingly good (not what I normally would order but my spouse has dietary restrictions), and the beef was good too but we definitely enjoyed the other dishes more. I noticed that portion size of the proteins was bigger than during pandemic. However, be prepared to pay $10 for a little bowl of white rice which wasn't even listed on the menu as a side dish (hmmm). And if you don't want to pay $9 for a bottle of water, then make sure to ask for house iced water :).

Bahamas is a great location for a beach holiday with lots and lots of activities you can find. From snorkeling to just swimming in a beach to aquarium to eating seafood! But does it require you to stay stay in the Atlantis Resort. Probably not. It's understood that this is an island and things are expensive! But, costs at Atlantis resorts were beyond my understanding! That said, the food was decent and so was the stay. There is no microwave oven in the rooms and looks like you are charged for heating up your food at any other cafes or restaurants! They have a casino(is it possible that it's rigged for you to lose :D). The restaurants in the resort are good and no one cannot get bored as there are so so many activities in the resort itself! Good place! Worth a try!

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
