Overhyped.
The raw fish is their crowning jewel for sure but their cooked entrees fall flat. I've had Miso Cod at other Michelin star restaurants and I've never had a bad experience until Nobu. I had high hopes considering Nobu is the pioneer of this dish. My main issue is that the lack of proper side dishes draws attention to just how salty the dish is. Other establishments pair with potato puree, rice, or something bland but subtly complimentary that accentuates the flavors rather than overwhelms as this dish did. Doubt that anything about the presentation of this dish will change given the popularity but if you came here to try the Miso Cod as I did, better to get a dupe. Our server was white and was very negligent of our table despite how empty the restaurant was. White patron definitely given better service. However, the evening was salvaged by a young Asian server who swooped in to check in on us every so often. Our main server did eventually return.... When we asked the other server for the check.... We tipped out of courtesy but with great displeasure.

Getting here was a little hard, you have to go through a door with the sign that says Nobu on the right side of the hotel and eventually make your way through the first floor to go down the basement where Nobu would really be. Thankfully they were okay with the first half of the party to arrive first before the rest. We came not for the omakase but for just a few rolls and some dishes. I got my own personal sushi selection since I wanted a taste of what their sushi is like and tbh I feel like blue ribbons normal sushi is better. The fish quality is good but not that amazing where I'm blown away by how fresh it is. I've also had better at Ki Sushi with their fish being shipped from Japan's Tsukiji market. So the sushi was pretty underwhelming. Since we came for a birthday the dessert had a candle and a happy birthday signage written on it in fancy lettering and it's very pretty and Instagram worthy. I don't know if I'd come back here again if I'm not trying the omakase next time but by the sushi selection i feel like now I don't feel like trying it anymore especially for 200+ dollars. The service was good and I don't have any complaints but it was pretty average meal in a pretty place.

The entrance for this location can be a bit confusing since it's inside of another building. We ordered rock shrimp, spicy tuna maki, king crab nobu tacos and crispy rice to share. Everything was so delicious you'd be craving more immediately after finishing your food, portions can be small but the wait staff is constantly checking on you to see if you'd want to order more food. Overall I had a great experience and can't wait to return.

Stayed at The Millenium so this little gem was beyond convenient. Every item we ordered was fantastic. Went back second night! Love the ambiance.

Nobu has created incredible brand equity and name recognition by its consistently exceptional food. The service is always attentive, and, if you're into people watching, this is the place. Every dish I've ordered is excellent. From the rock shrimp tempura, yellow tail jalapeño, miso cod, sashimi, rolls, (and even dessert). They have a wide selection of sake, and other traditional Japanese wines and beers. The restaurant is well-managed, and the hosts are always very friendly, and cordial. The dining room is large with both, table seating, and banquets. The ambiance is what you'd expect of a popular restaurant, enjoyed by many from across the world. I've dined here dozens of times with friends, executive clients, and celebrities. Nobu never disappoints!
Posh restaurant that specializes in gourmet Asian cuisine.
Shared several plates with two other people so got to try a decent amount of food. Servers was knowledgeable and friendly. Food came out quickly. The ribeye steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and delicious. Fish was super fresh and expertly prepared. The dessert was a disappointment: nothing special in terms of taste and very expensive. Give the high prices here, would only come sparingly.

I had the tuna roll and rocking shrimp and the tuna was so fresh!! Loved it. My girlfriend had the baked snow crab roll and the waygu dumplings. The dumplings weren't my fav but that's because I don't like anything sweet and they had a sweet hint to it.
Came here for my 1 year wedding anniversary.
The restaurant is beautiful and fancy inside and great for taking photos although once you're seated at your table it is dark and intimate. The service was great from start to finish. Now the food.... AMAZING. Please get the crispy rice and tuna, it was everything. The wagyu dumplings were the other star of the show and I literally went to another world when I bit into one. We also tried the crab tacos and the yellowtail jalapeno roll which were both great as well. The rock shrimp was yummy too! The drinks are also delicious and perfectly strong. I can't wait to go back!

My first Japanese restaurant experience and it was perfect, with a wide range of high-quality food served by excellent attentive staff. A must on the New York restaurant itinerary. I will definitely be back.

Was dying to try Nobu and it didnt disappoint. The whole experience was fabulous…food..service…ambience. Interesting drinks and different takes on amazing sushi dishes. Ultra fresh sushi and it was an ultra clean sushi bar. You cant take the $ with you when you go so spend the big bucks on dinner and drinks, get the amazing baked Alaska at the end, and go home and be happy.

Food was amazing, but service didn’t live up to the quality of the food. We were late getting seated for 8pm reservation even though we had to remind the reception team 3 times that we were waiting (I think they forgot about us!) After we had finished our desserts we were told we had to leave the restaurant as it was closing which considering we spent 900 dollars on our meal for 4 people, wasn’t great. Overall I would say food experience very good, but the service (excluding our waitress, who was excellent) was very poor and not in keeping with a restaurant that serves up such great food. Next time we will Nobu a miss and try somewhere else.

This was our first time at a Nobu.
The food was delicious but pricey. Our server was difficult to understand and he was talking so fast and was so busy trying to up sale it was frustrating when we knew what we wanted. The restaurant is beautiful but very loud. I'm not sure you should still feel hungry after spending $800 for dinner. At Nobu you are definitely paying for the experience.

..Jumpman? Anyone? Who hasn't heard of Nobu. It's the go to sushi restaurant for celebrities all over the world. I actually wanted to go to the one in the Bahamas but it was booked up for weeks. Lucky for me there are locations everywhere, including several in NYC. I booked this downtown location and it was very busy when we got there. Not surprised though. When you enter it has an upstairs bar/lounge area and downstairs is the main dining room. I got the omakase and I think my husband got the chicken teriyaki with a side of vegetable tempura, which he proclaimed was the best chicken teriyaki he'd ever had. Omakase was to die for. Every dish was unique and brought a new flavor, texture, sense to the palate. If I had to pick one of the dishes, it'd be a tie between the Wagyu beef and the noodle on consumme. Dessert was of course ice cream. Service was nice, staff were friendly, and I'd 100% go back.

The seafood was fresh but not the best. I'm not a big fan of miso so I didn't really like the overly sweet flavors on my black miso cod or shishito peppers. My favorite had to be the jalapeño yellowtail and the nigiri. I've tried the Nobu in New York and Atlanta and personally feel like this location in Las Vegas is slacking. The waiters are super nice although the quality of the food in this location is just not... all that.

Nobu is consistent with the food freshness and strong cocktails. This location was busy but I was seated promptly and service was attentive. Highly recommend.
A homerun from start to finish.
The moment we walked through the doors we were greeted by a very warm and friendly host by the name of Jacq. We had arrived bit early so he brought us over to the bar and took care of us while the table was being prepared. During small talk, it came up that we were celebrating our anniversary, later in the evening when dessert came they had written Happy Anniversary on the plate with the chocolate glaze, amazing attention to detail. The server taking care of us for the evening, Eriko, was the best I've ever had at any restaurant. I have a gluten allergy and she patiently walked me through the menu recommending items (The menu doesn't give any info). Every item brought to the table I was told if it was safe to eat or not. Portion sizes were fine, we left feeling very full and the price we felt was reasonable and justified the experience. Overall an amazing time, we will be back for sure and highly recommend the place.

This was my first time going to Nobu, mostly because every time I traveled and attempted to book a reservation, it would be booked out for 2 months... so I was very excited to see what Nobu was about. We decided to get omakase, 2 of the salmon specials they had that day, and the toro with pear special. The dishes were delicious! Of course, some were not as great but overall, the meal was nice. My least favorite was the clam soup, which came second to last in the course. It was underwhelming but again, not terrible. My favorite would have to be toro. I typically get toro/o-toro whenever I go out for sushi but the toro was scrumptious. The vibe inside was lovely and our server was super helpful. I enjoyed my experience at Nobu Downtown and would definitely visit again!

The service was great, our waiter was super attentive, made suggestions and even told us about items not listed on the menu. The ambiance is classy, quiet and very elegantly decorated. I will definitely be back to try other items. The sushi was the best sushi I've ever had. I tried the shrimp tempura roll, spicy tuna, and the spider roll. The choclo corn was amazing, as was the miso shishito peppers. The ponzu tempura lobster was magical. Don't think about it- go to Nobu and enjoy every piece of the experience.

The lobster ceviche was great, but the portion was laughable. The sushi deluxe would have been perfect, had the nigiri not been tainted with Wasabi. Each piece felt like it had been doused in it. Our waiter was quite dismissive and tried to pressure us into ordering more. He seemed to write us off after we didn't submit an additional order. The ambiance felt like I was at a night club not a luxury sushi spot. Given the price I honestly feel generous giving it 3 stars. All this to say - Go to a better sushi spot. There are plenty in the city.

Tasty Views and Beautiful Dishes
This is the BEST spot in the city for food, service, and a scene; the ambiance is delicious! Ask the management about making an on-going reservation each month as this spot is LIT and resys are hard to come by at certain times (I like a solid 8:30pm resy for celeb viewing and vibes).

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
