You have to try the lamb
Excellent service and food. Very friendly staff with an obvious love for food and wine. I had the best lamb of my life. Wine pairings were varied and interesting. I especially appreciated the reds. The view was amazing. Would definitely come back.

We are not supercritical People, but Go out quite frequently, also to Star restaurants. Food is good - we had the Tasting menue - but Not at all star quality. Service is lousy and completely disorganized- you have to ask for water, wine and bread because nobody seems to be responsible for your table. Restrooms were Dirty without Paper, Soap or towels. management is not able to handle problems, they disappear when confronted with issues. View is great, cannot be destroyed by bad management … I wont visit again
Be the first to ReplyDoors closed xD what a joke... Michelin what?
So I had a reservation made for 2 months in advance. I have confirmation by email sent by them. I arrive at the place coming from a long trip and find the restaurant is closed. After checking the instagram page it seems hey changed the opening day on the day before my reservation. Mirador has not contacted me ever. Is This really what Michelin looks like? Stars are really cheap these days...
Be the first to ReplyWith managed expectations, I enjoyed my dinner at Mirador del Ulia
Having read many recent reviews, I dined at Mirador del Ulia with ‘managed expectations’. It therefore did not disappoint. The view is spectacular; while not Michelin-star standard, the food was tasty. And while the service was ‘not crisp’, it was friendly.
Be the first to ReplyDon't believe the bad reviews
The food and setting was amazing and service was some of the best we've ever had. Don't believe the bad reviews, we felt so special and the food was amazing. The views were next level. It's walkable back to San sebastian afterwards using steps you come across on the path. Walking up would be a lot! But taxi was about 10 euro. Can't recommend enough, thank you for everything!

We had an amazing evening. The food was sensational and the view exquisite. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend
Be the first to ReplyNot good enough for Michelin
Menü looks nice, but the dishes are not really tasty. Nothing special in the food combinations. Rather boring tastings and a meny of the dishes taste the same. The blue mayo with seaweed just looks strange and do not taste like seaweed. Disappointing. The only good thing, the view at the two beaches of San Sebastián.
Be the first to ReplyGreat restaurant, breathtaking views
We went for lunch which was superb and the views were breathtaking. Friendly and well organized team. Sommelier is friendly and good. Maitre was wonderful, her attention during the lunch was pleasant and caring. Dishes were surprising and well decorated.
Certainly a restaurant which is worth your while.
Not Michelin material
The restaurant is beautifully situated on top of a hill overlooking the beach and the old town of San Salvador. That in itself is worth a visit to this place.
I asked them a question by mail twice, one before and one after our visit, however no response. This rudeness costs them one star in my review.
We had the Menu Clasico: we thought two of the dishes were really good, heavenly, but for the rest we were not impressed, certainly not Michelin material, tastes were flat and the dessert looked sloppy. All we could do during the lesser dishes was enjoy the beautiful view. Minus one star.
We asked for a wine pairing but since I was driving I only wanted half glasses. Later it turned out that my wife also got the tiny portions, glasses of two sips only. (see the picture, together with the delicious duck). Coming home however we saw that on the bill they had charged two maridajes, wine pairings for 2 x €96. I think it is ridiculous to have a menu of €120 paired with these tiny glasses at almost the same price.
How much did they pay to get a michelin star?
How did they get a Michelin star? This was probably worst meal of my life, and paying 250eur for the food we got is an absolute disgrace.
Like some other reviews, we had issue with a booking as our booking was confirmer for 20:00 but restaurant actually opens only at 20:30, so we stood 30 minutes outside in a cold.
The vegan and Hake menu we tried, besides an odd dish which was etable was so disgustiging, it felt chef himself probably hates vegetables and Hake menu the offalls of the fish is so slimey and poorly made that question comes how much did they paid Michelin inspector to get a star this year again?
On the good side, the view is really lovely. But you wouldn’t give michelin star for a view? The place is so bland, with no ambient and staff which is not English speaking, it is really a poor experience especially for that money!
