We're local, and this is hands down our favorite kabob place, and being in Glendale, CA that's saying a lot!
A literal mom & pop (plus son) place, eating the food here completely feels like you ate a lovingly prepared meal at a loved one's house. The seasoning is always on-point, the kabobs perfectly cooked, the sides fresh, delicious, and savory. The sweetest people you will ever meet. I never tire of Mini Kabob. If you are in Glendale, you owe yourself a meal from this place.
These days, though (2020 - 2022), it's takeout/deliver only, and their hours are often limited, but so, so, so worth it!
Best Kabob in Town!!!! Must try!
This Tiny place in Glendale has AMAZING food. So far, my best food experience in LA. Food is always fresh and super well seasoned. Family owned and operated (really nice and humble people!!). Chicken tight kabob is my favorite.
Hummus, the garlic sauce are superb as well.
Can get busy, so order in the morning.
No seating available due to covid, to go only!
Hidden Gem!
Simple, straightforward menu with excellent quality food.
They make everything in-house and you can taste the love in the food. Meat heavy at first glance but excellent vegetarian options. I love everything about this place
Portions are big and prices are fair. I typically pick up for dinner and save half for lunch the following day. The fact it's a family-run business is just icing on the cake.
Cash only but there are ATM's nearby.
Family Owned
This place has been on every foodies list. I was totally blown away by the taste, flavor, high quality and value. This nondescript hole in the wall family owned and operated is putting out the best Mediterranean and Armenian food in Los Angeles. Cash Only.

The food here is SO GOOD! It's very simple food, but it is done so well! The owners are right there cooking your food 15 feet away from you, and they're very friendly.

I was visiting LA from San Francisco and was looking for a healthy and homemade style food. My daughter who is super healthy suggested this place. The food was amazing and quite delicious. I will go back there when I come back to LA. Price was quite reasonable.

Pictures speak volumes, and I get many ideas about where to go eat from my Instagram feed. The first time I went in, two other people also came in for the first time because of the pictures we had seen on Instagram:) I follow Eat Bearded on Instagram and Armen is one of the chefs/co-owners of Mini Kabob.
Ovakim and Alvard welcomed me as if I had entered their home when I came into the eight seat restaurant; the place is so small that the couple dining at the table closest to the door opened it for me from their seats!
They serve high quality food, done with heart and skill that can only come from people who love what they do, and they treat everyone as a new friend or old one, depending on whether it's your first visit or thousandth time. I've now become a regular, introducing friends to the place, so now I feel like this is my home away from home:)
The first time I went in, I asked Ovakim what he recommended, and he said "Get the chicken breast" so I did and it was the most mouthwatering moist version I have ever eaten. The rice, onions, and grilled tomato and jalapeno were perfect compliments to the chicken and basmati rice. All this for under $15 and nearly enough for two meals!
When I saw the steak and salad, I knew I wanted that combo on another night, and it did not disappoint, with tender meat and a refreshing green crunch all for under $20. The Lule minced chicken mixed with a bit of pork and spices is a slighter smaller meal especially paired with salad instead of rice, but big on flavor. If you can't decide, you can order a combo plate with chicken thigh, chicken lule, and pork, also with salad instead of rice if you prefer. I found the pork a bit dry, but still tasty.
The lamb chops are a big plate, and I ordered half salad, half rice to get a completely "balanced" meal, but it was so big I would only order this to go next time; this is the most expensive item on the menu coming in at slightly over $20.
Perhaps my favorite part of any meal here is the delightfully light garlic sauce that is served with every meal. I would eat this everyday if I lived closer to Mini Kabob :) They make it fresh daily, along with their hummus. The lavash bread comes from a nearby bakery, and it is the only thing they do not make in house.
Wonderful wonderful wonderful
It's lovely to walk into a place that's family owned and be greeted like a friend. It is small inside but many people take it to go because the food is that good. The hummus is delicious and they also make a garlic spread that is tasty. I got a chicken breast kabob that I enjoyed. My daughter sad her salad was one of the best she had eaten. I will definitely go back when I am in the area.

LOVED this place. Stopped in after going to a nearby museum and found them on yelp (600+ perfect reviews). They are a teeny tiny spot with 7 seats inside, so think take out instead of dining in. Run by mom, pop and son. To die for garlic sauce and hummus. I live 40 minutes away and would drive there just to have it. Chicken and steak kabobs were amazing. Cooked to order so expect a bit of a wait. Such a kind family.
Be the first to ReplyOMG! Amazingly big taste in a tiny foodie package, a must try
Last evening one of LA's top foodies introduced us to Mini Kabob
313 Vine Street, Glendale, CA 91204. An amazing tiny Mediterainian foodie delight with touches of Persian and Russian influence. There are only two tables and they do take out. Some of the best lamb I have ever had anywhere. We tried almost everything on the menu so should you. Try the Eggplant Caviar and Garlic sauce. Chicken amazing. They kept bringing more hummus and we had them put sunny side up eggs on our rice.
