Style over substance
Great location, great interior & vibe and a great menu but service was slooooow. You canโt book for brunch but we were seated quickly. Took an age for order to be taken, i ordered poached eggs on toast & Americano and i made a point saying I would like runny yolks. When the plate arrived it looked great and cutting into them, the yolks ran out ๐๐ป but on eating the eggs were cold, i know kitchens can pre-prepare poached eggs and warm up to order but either these werenโt warmed through enough or they plunged into water to stop cooking and then served. Such a disappointment. I would have informed staff but we were in a rush and getting their attention was difficult. Such a shame as the place was buzzy with plenty of noise and the menu was great.

Easy brunch spot with Wifi. The food and service was really good, but the drinks were ok. Very cute vibe! The avocado toast and turkish eggs were so good
Be the first to ReplyBest gluten free club sandwich
Best gluten free club sandwich I have had! We were looking for a good brunch and this place did not disappoint! However, when I saw the club sandwich I could not resist! Honestly the best sandwich since Iโve been gluten free! Married to an Australian we had to get some banana bread to go, and a GF cinnamon bun for me! Choice was really good and busy nice atmosphere!

My daughter is a coeliac so needs gluten free food, most items on the menu are gf or can be made gf. Her club sandwich was really good, praise indeed from a picky eater. The chicken parmigiana was very tasty and my other daughter was impressed with her burger. The waiting staff were excellent explaining the menu and what could be made gf. Overall a great experience and definitely worth a visit if you are in Paris regardless of whether you need gluten free food or not.

We stopped here for brunch before heading to the Musee de Cluny across the street. Simple eggs benedict and their version of huevos rancheros plus some coffee and tea. The service was very slow to start and other tables that sat after us got their drinks before anyone came to our table to greet us. Once acknowledged, the staff was friendly but a little disinterested it appeared. The drinks and pastries were very good. The food was fine. Weโve both had far better versions of the same dishes multiple times. The food was not bad by any means but nothing out of the ordinary based on past experience. All in all, a place that would do in a pinch and you would be satisfied with the food.
Be the first to ReplyAwesome food, service atmosphere at very decent prices
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, but in particular to those of us who can't eat gluten. My wife and kids have celiac disease which means they need to be on a strict gluten-free diet. In France (as opposed to say Italy or the US) that can be very tricky, and we found our options in Paris mostly limited to Italian restaurants, which gets old after a while. Loulou doesn't just have gluten free items clearly marked on the menu. Our waiter was a celiac herself and told us they could make anything on the menu gluten free. By the way, though it doesn't say so on the menu, the French fries are gluten free too. Food was delicious. As the only non-celiac at our table I also had the West Coast IPA beer, which was awesome.

Be the first to ReplyFun stop, American vibes.
Good food and drinks and very tourist friendly. Preferred a medium burger and for it basically well done. But food was good and fast and atmosphere was fun!
Be the first to Replypleasant surprise
we were looking for a place for brunch and asked the hotel concierge for a suggestion. Grateful and wonderful surprise : pleasant atmosphere , friendly service , courteous and honest . Menu with varied options , with a modern interpretation of classic dishes , all delicious and well prepared . Disadvantages: high prices and queues. But even so, I highly recommend
Be the first to ReplyAn hour and fifteen minutes wait for a salad and a sandwich.
The place looks lovely and we chose it because it has gluten free options on the menu which are hard to find in Paris. We were seated straight away but then ignored for 15 minutes. We were not even offered some water or had our drinks order taken. Eventually we asked if we could order and our orders were taken. We did get our drinks quite quickly and then we waited. And waited. And waited. People who had come in after us were served, ate their meals and still we waited. The table behind us were also waiting and like us were getting annoyed. An hour after entering the restaurant we were told our food would be arriving shortly. It was late as they were busy they said. Not too busy for the numerous people who had come in after us and were now leaving though! 10 minutes later the food arrived. The gluten free sandwich order was correct but not my order. I had ordered a salad and received a sandwich so it was taken away and again I waited. My husband ate as we really didn't have the energy to go and find somewhere else that served gluten free food and we were just too hungry to start again. My salad arrived and the staff were apologetic but it had spoiled the lunch. My husband had already eaten and I ate my salad as he waited for me. To top it off we were charged a service charge on the bill which I couldn't be bothered arguing about. We just wanted to be out and on our way. The place is totally chaotic and the owner/manager just wanders about not keeping an eye on what is happening in the restaurant. Obviously friends and regulars get preferential treatment and anyone else it seems is irrelevant. It isn't a particularly cheap place (17 euros for a salad). They really need to do better; get organised, be professional and serve their customers not just the people they know. Would not recommend. Just too frustrating to bother with.

The โBuddha bowlโ dish served by the restaurant was very low quality. It seemed as though the vegetables were frozen and cooked poorly.

Iโd give it a minus 10 if I could. The worst meal we had in France (on a 16 day trip). Eggs overcooked, tough bacon, lukewarm food and terrible, terrible service. Would not recommend at all. Very disappointing.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious Lunch and Dinner
My son and I had the pleasure of dining here twice. The first impression was of a very cheerful cafe with a pink and white striped awning. We were greeted by a friendly and professional waitress who spoke fluent English. We soon found that all the staff had the same friendly, helpful attitude. We also spoke to a lovely lady who may have been the owner or manager, she told us that she had celiac disease and so understood the complications and challenges of having a food allergy. The menu had the gluten free items clearly marked with GF. My son (who doesnโt need to eat gluten free) and I both ordered the chicken parmigiana meal. This came accompanied with French fries and salad. The chicken was delicious with a nice crispy breading, French fries lovely, and salad fresh. My son also enjoyed his meal. I then had the light, delicious cheesecake and my son the tasty carrot cake! Two days later we visited again. This time, I tried the fish and chips, and my son had a bacon cheeseburger and French fries. Both meals also had a salad plus my sonโs plate had a colorful portion of coleslaw. These meals were delicious, my fish was fresh and tasty and the coating on the fish was perfectly done, crispy perfection! The acidulated cream was nice for the fish as well the fresh lemon wedge, yum! Gluten free ketchup (Heinz) - no detail overlooked. My son loved his burger and fries, nothing left on his plate. Finished up with a lovey lemon citron tart and chocolate mousse! Would recommend for those looking for delicious, tasty meals in a relaxing, casual atmosphere. Also, excellent for those worrying about getting a safe gluten free meal. Both times after eating here I did not have a reaction at all! โค๏ธ๐
Be the first to ReplyLocal french restaurant in Paris cool atmosphere
We went for dinner to this local french restaurant. Food is really tasty and varied, good prices for average Paris and true taste.
Waiter was very nice helping us to chiose the dishes, everything is recommended for sharing here. He provided english menu and explanation and we felt like home the ehole night.
The only downside is that place is very small and you need to be lucky to book one of the tables with the Paris' roofs stunning views.
Perfect breakfast with friends
Really nice staff with good English, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. Perfect breakfast experience!

What a great discovery ! As the hotel were I stayed offered poor breakfasts , I decided to find a place to eat outside the hotel. I found Loulou and immediately fell in love . They offer a wide selection of breakfasts , coffees and teas.
The most important , it tasted very very well !
Congratulations for the owner and for the very friendly staff working there !
Good food but very poor customer service
The food here is very good, there is something for everyone and the restaurant caters for guests with a variety of dietary requirements and tastes. The service, however, was really disappointing. A young waiter was the first to come to us, and he was very polite and friendly and explained everything really well. When he took the order, however, he tried to remember everything (for six people, with different requests) instead of writing it down, and when the food arrived, there was inevitably a mistake. The young waitress, this time, who brought out food was extremely rude and gave a cheeky response to one person at our table when she said she hadn't been given what we had ordered, and that really ruined the evening. The place wasn't very busy at all so this shouldn't have been to much of a chore to this waitress, but her attitude gave a different impression. Great food, but what good is high quality food when the service is poor.
