Loews Miami Beach Hotel Reviews from The Last Year
The hotel is very nice and the beds are some of the most
The hotel is very nice and the beds are some of the most comfortable I have had in a hotel. I like a softer bed and most hotel beds are like a rock because they last longer for the hotels. The bar in the hotel is great and has good food. The Resturant raos is fabulous and would highly recommend. It has a big pool and is right on the beach. The only issue was the amount of people didn't allow us to enjoy the pool only seats were far back away from the pool and the beach was the same way very crowded. Other than that great trip I would try to visit off peak times and that's not May.
Stayed at the Loews in April for a work conference.
The hotel is beautiful. I stayed in the second building where Rao's is- you can tell it's a little aged and the elevators are super small. The ocean view I had was a very small sliver, I really only saw the roof and skylights of the hotel. My room was clean and comfortable, but I couldn't get the temperature in my room to adjust - it was freezing cold the entire time. The bathroom was nice with a tub, shower, and separate toilet room. But the shower was really small.
Fabulous!
I attended an event at Loews Miami Beach, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The highlight of my visit was the incredible dirty martinis made by Miguel at the bar. The best dirty martinis I've ever had! I highly recommend visiting Loews Miami Beach and indulging in Miguel's expertly crafted cocktails.
Lots of good things
Booked through Amex and got upgraded to oceanfront room which was clean and comfortable with gorgeous view. Breakfast was included and was delicious. Had dinner at bar one night, sat out at the outside terrace and enjoyed a bunch of small plates. Nice vibe. The pool is beautiful. 4/5 given because (a) you have to grab pool chairs early, I'm always up early so we were set but for late sleepers it might be a turn off, (b) enormous number of kids, I love kids and didn't mind much but when I say lots of kids, triple what you're thinking and that's how many kids and (c) food by pool was good, not great. I did enjoy the stay and definitely have this on my return list.
Excellent hotel and great location
Excellent hotel with a great location Great hotel staff, excellent cleanliness of the rooms, spacious bed and large suite for Miami hotel standards Large pool with excellent bar, anyone coming to Miami for the first time can stay at this hotel as it is very good value for money Super complete breakfast
Gala
Miguel Banquets makes the best dirty martinis by far! We had a work event at the Loews and we had him as our bartender and he was amazing. Customer service was a 10/10 and he helped us choosing a new drink for my mom. He is highly recommended! Thank you Miguel!
Beach Attendants are the best part!
Very convenient! Everyday my mom & I walked down to the beach where Connor, or one of the other guys, would set up our chairs/towels and umbrella. That was so convenient and they are all so personable and nice to talk to. I was SO IMPRESSED with their service and the professionalism that Connor and the guys possessed. Thank you! We will miss you guys!
Luca C
Luca C WAS amazing!!! He deserves a raise. He was attentive and kind! I couldn't find my chair, he saw me and found it for me because my feet were on fire. He continued to check on me throughout my stay at the beach. He was TOP TIER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lucas B
We had an amazing time. Everything was made simple and convenient for our comfort. I want to highlight the work of Lucas B, a super-friendly Uruguayan young man who assisted us during our time at the beach. I recommend you all to try the piña colada - it was so good!
Lucas B
During my recent stay at Loews, I had the pleasure of being served by Lucas B in the . Lucas B truly elevated my experience with exceptional service and a warm, friendly attitude. Lucas B. exemplifies what excellent service should be. They are a true asset to Loews, and I look forward to returning in the future, knowing I'll receive such outstanding service. Thank you, Lucas B for making my stay even more enjoyable!
Excellent service at the beach
Beach service was fanatic! I truly enjoyed my day here thanks to the hospitable warm service provided the lovely Aaron! Definitely ask for him if want the best service! We had so much fun. Everyone is so nice and it’s a beautiful spot. He offered all the water sports and fun activities. We felt very well taken care of and her gave great tips on what to do in city.

When booking I was told that I would be upgraded to a beachfront balcony room as part of a promotion they had going on. I booked with the phone representative a partial beach view room with a balcony. When I checked in a received a partial beach view with no balcony at all. My total bill was about $3700 for 3 nights, and I didn't get anything that I booked. Very disappointed and will probably not stay here again. Unfortunate because the hotel is pretty nice otherwise.
The beach service
As usual the staff that serves the beach, setting up chairs, umbrellas, tables are amazing! Expecially Nate and Junior as well as Wilner! The service is great for food and drinks if you get the right server. I highly commend Gio, Sara, Pia, Gabriellla.
Excellent resort for families with world class customer service!
Excellent resort for families with world class customer service! We stayed for 6 nights in April with two young kids. The amenities are well kept and this is the perfect place for families in the areas! Coach who runs pool games for kids is so warm and personable!! What a gem and amazing role model for children. The Friday night movie was such a cute and thoughtful setup! The beach and pool attendants are super attentive and we had no problem getting chairs no matter what time of day due to the amount they stay on top of cleaning up after people leave. The pool is kept at a delightful temperature to enjoy the Florida weather and still feel refreshed! The pool setup and design is great for those that want to relax and the kids section that is shallow. The water, sunscreen, and extra swim diapers by the pool are a nice touch! The resort is walkable to hundreds of restaurants and shops. You don’t need a car. I highly recommend this resort for families! The texting feature with concierge is extremely responsive and helpful. This is a gem resort in the area. We will definitely return!
Great spring break with the kids in Miami
We had a wonderful stay at the Loews. Great for families with lots of to do in the pool and beach. Lucas C. was super helpful on the beach getting us an awesome cabana with chairs, umbrella etc…would highly recommend.
Amazing time at their beach! Sprung for the bed setup. Well worth it.
Lucas C. was an exceptional beach attendant, highly accommodating and attentive. He ensured a comfortable and enjoyable experience with prompt service and a friendly demeanor. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the beach! Get the beach bed!
A great day at Loews
Thank you Lucas C for yiur excellent service on the beach today, providing clean and fresh towels and helping us with the umbrella whether we wanted it up or down. We need more good like you in Miami Beach.
Beach
Lucas C. Helped us on the beach with the cabana. Definitely should be promoted and moved to management. He was extremely personal and attentive as well as very friendly.
Lucas C is a great and valuable employee
Lucas C. Is the best!! He went above and beyond with exceptional service and helped us out setting up our cabana on the beach in Miami . Extremely personable, attentive and a complete charmer. I recommend promoting him into a leadership role.
Great beach service
My husband and I had the best time on the beach. The service was incredible. Lucas B was very helpful and attentive to us. We will definitely be coming back
Great Stay in Miami!
Absolutely amazing!!!! Gorgeous hotel and can’t wait to visit again. Luis Orlando on the beach is amazing! He went above and beyond in helping us with an umbrella and chairs. Nicholas is the best. Always get drinks from him on the beach! Amazing people.
Outstanding for all the right reasons
We stayed at this hotel for the second time. The first time we enjoyed it so much we couldn't wait to go back. Once again we found the hotel to provide top class Customer Service, nothing was too much trouble. Danay, who is part of the Reception Back Office staff, provides excellent Customer Service. Our room was great, with a beach view and great wheelchair accessibility. It was cleaned daily, which is rare at a hotel these days. We enjoyed the beach and Logan who helped my husband with the beach wheelchair was great. We can't wait for our next trip here.
Bottom line: adequate 4-star hotel but would give 3.
5/5 Pros: - Great location: Near Espanola Way and the main drag where there are lots of restaurants and stores. - Beach Front: easy access to the beach - Kid Friendly: (could be a con if looking for an establishment that caters more towards adult) --There is a game room on the 2nd floor with several arcade games and other backyard games --Pool is great for kids: zero entry pool, lots of chairs, a few kids activities --There is a kids club, which we didnt use, but these days hard to find hotel that offers them - Service: at the restaurant for breakfast and at the pool were great. Cons: - Beach Umbrella is Not Included! - I think this is my biggest complaint... Expect to be nickel and dimed at the beach. Beach chairs were included as part of the "resort fee", BUT the umbrella is extra - per day! What beach front resort forces people to spend an extra $28/day to enjoy the beach or choose to be miserably hot or risk getting skin cancer? It's just outrageous, esp for a so-called 4 star hotel. And what's the resort fee for? - Room/Hotel is showing its age - some examples: - mirror in the room was not screwed properly. Thinking it was a cabinet door, I opened and it exposed all the wiring for the built in light around the mirror. - wall paper in many part of the hallway on our floor is peeling - room felt dusty when we first checked in. - room has a lot of wear and tear. - Pool can get crowded, esp during high season, like spring break. I think my biggest irk is the beach umbrella, especially for guests. I understand charging non-guests (beach area is open to public) but for guests who are already paying for the room and resort fee is just outrageous. To consider: if you are willing to spend an extra $1000/$1200 for the day, the SOAK cabana is a nice experience...
Had a rough stay with them between Xmas and New Year's but
Had a rough stay with them between Xmas and New Year's but knew I was coming back for a conference in Feb. I let them know the first stay was rough and they heard me and went out of their way to look out for us and ensure we had a great stay at the conference. 5 stars for being conscientious and responding to feedback. That's all you can ask of any business.
Had a nice stay for two nights.
Very pleased with accommodations (was upgraded to an ocean view room) in St Moritz level. There is a little bit of age showing but overall nice room. Service was high quality from check-in, to room service, to house keeping. Would definitely recommend. Good alternative to Ritz Carlton.
Worse service ever.
We were put in a conference floor. They had re used rooms as conference places and the lobby hallways were full of cables and WiFi and food. Horrible experience. When I asked to be moved they only had excuses even when I asked to speak with a manager the employee named Joshua said nobody was available, this is NOT acceptable for a hotel of this quality and given how much we had paid for these rooms. I have stayed before here and never got this bad of a service and lack of hospitality. Avoid this place. To make things worse valet parking takes longer than 25 minutes to get your car. I requested it for a specified time and they made me loose dinner reservations. If this was not enough, at night music remind extremely loud to the point we could not sleep until early AM. With two kids is difficult to stay here, not a family place. At the pool the people are not helpful the waits for anything are unacceptable and even if you show up with a bag from another place they give you shit. Yea I had a bag from a coffee shop that I got for later in the day but I was lazy to take it upstairs. Two different people approach me to threaten me about eating in the pool. Customer service and satisfaction is simply horrible. I was very close to tell the people to loose it but I guess I still have respect unlike them. Any person should first ask before threatening.
I found the hotel easy.
It is a beautiful hotel. A place you want to take pictures. Everything looked so nice and clean. The valet is around 49 dollars. There are a few garages within walking distance, if you are looking for other parking options. I came for an event, Eatz by Chef Chris Valdes. It was a well-organized event that happens now yearly. I had a great time. The food choices were great and the entertainment enjoyable. I especially liked the veal meatballs and the churasco with the sweet plantain mash. I liked all the dishes. Everything was tasted great to me. The event also had drinks and wine. I am not much of a drinker but my friends are and they seemed happy with the choices. This was a fun event. I was so glad I came. The hotel Loew's staff and event staff both great and friendly. I got to meet Chef Valdes and take pictures. That was awesome. I had a great night. @loewsmiami@chefchrisvaldes @floridamilk@rcateringandevents@floridabeef@justinwine@paradiseprosecco@fruteroiecream@cafelallave@arely_pr

I booked an "ocean view" room thinking i could overlook the ocean, instead i was staring at a building and had a partial ocean view. when they say ocean view on their website it's very misleading. Paying $59 a day for valet parking is an absolute joke. Besides that had a really nice time
We had no idea that this hotel would be swarming with
We had no idea that this hotel would be swarming with children while we were there. It was mid-December and our room cost $1,800/night for oceanfront. At that price, I never expected tons of families to be there. Maybe it's because I grew up without this kind of money, and I never even thought there were families who could afford these prices. It's a nice hotel and resort, but it was really overrun by kids. They were everywhere - I once counted 17 of them in the (small) hot tub next to the pool. And it was like this every single day the hot tub was open. You could tell that the other adults who were there without kids felt equally out of place and disappointed for spending so much money and expecting a nice experience. The hot tub was also broken and closed for several days during our weeklong stay. I have to say that the staff is absolutely phenomenal though. From the VIP check-in, to the pool staff, to the breakfast restaurant staff. True 5-star service. They deserve every raise they can get. The beach can get crowded, too, without enough staff on duty to handle the line. On one particular day, I waited 40 minutes on the sand for two lounge chairs. The staff that was working were working their behinds off, so it wasn't their fault. They just need to pay attention and put more staff when its needed. The saving grace was the spa, which had a hot tub inside. It was a nice retreat after a day of being out by the pool or beach. And no kids! The mediation classes were nice, too. Our oceanfront room was on the small side but the bathroom was a nice size. The balcony and ocean view every day is what saved this trip for us. It was truly magical just being able to stare out into the ocean first thing in the morning and last thing at night. But at these prices, I would head elsewhere if you're looking for an adults-only (or at least MOSTLY adults) vacation. It would truly be a spectacular resort for us and we'd come all the time if it was adults only.

Thank you for the question, if a seller is working on answering your bid, you cannot cancel it until their time is up and the bid is released back to you. The full amount of funds then go back into your AT account. Typically a seller has 48-72 hours to complete the bid.
