So much food, such small tables - but not a problem....
Our table of 4 were seated upstairs in this quite cramped restaurant and the table was quite small. However, it does not feel cramped and is instead very laid back and welcoming. The menu is amazing and so much good choice. A great choice of well priced wine is also available and we took good advantage of the food and drink on offer. However, as dishes are served as and when ready we ended up with the whole table covered in food and glasses. This just spurred us on to attack the food as best we could and it didnโt seem long before we cleared plates. Everything we ate was very nice. Our wine choices were good also. Bottles were around ยฃ40 each. Service was excellent. Very friendly and full of good advice and knowledge of the wine and food. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back.

An ideal evening! Apon entrance we were happily greeted and brought to our seats. Although in a busy spot we felt involved and part of the experience with x providing Cole providing exceeding services. The food made the visit, with all of the tapas exceeding our expectations and the chuletรณn was better than an org**m. The service was beyond exceeded with friendly and involved staff. I would 100% recommend this restaurant with its great staff, unreal food and even better location!

It was a spontaneous trip to London, we wanted something to eat and drink. We had a table on the upper floor. A bit tight for a 2m tall man, but cozy and delicious. We had beer and various tapas, which were served quickly and easily. Clean tables, plates and glasses, friendly service. The prices are a bit bitter compared to Vienna.
Be the first to ReplyGreat restaurant a stone's throw from Borough Market
Great restaurant just steps from Borough Market. Exceptionally delicious food and excellent service. Cozy, comfortable and very fast. We ordered beef with foie gras, shrimp in garlic butter, and rack of lamb. I liked everything very much.
Be the first to ReplyDelightful!! In all senses.
Discovered by chance, there were too many people in Borought Market so my daughter and I thought we'd have something to eat somewhere else. This little place is really beautiful, small with limited spaces but really special! Ordered a mix of tapas and the cheese platter: all very good!!! When we arrived there was no one there, maybe two or three people besides us. Then it filled up, so we were also lucky enough to enjoy some of its atmosphere! Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!!!
Be the first to ReplyCLASS LITTLE PLACE.
After having a wander around the busy Borough Market, needed a sit down to chill an eat. Really really pleased we fell on this place. Great friendly staff, mad little set up, good beers an well the food was Top draw. Not one dish out of the 4 we had let us down, tasty, good portions an times coming out spot on. Shocked us both how good the dishes were. Don't get the bad reviews from some people about this place unless it was a bad day but this place gets a massive thumbs up for us, Cheers.

Spanish tapas restaurant, a little cramped but fun; small spaces, friendly service, tasty food. Feel free to order different dishes and exchange them: jamon, tortillas, croquettes, pan con tomate, some good meat dishes. We drink beer and spend around 30-35 pounds each.

Excellent fresh high quality tapas here - particularly recommend the black paella. Sangria was lovely too. The setting is unique and a lively atmosphere. Not expensive for the area

Overrated. Expensive. Asked for a dirty martini and they said they couldnโt make it. Super tight squeeze and service was meh

A fabulous Tapas place next door to Borough Market, under the bridge, 5 minutes walk from London Bridge Underground Station. Great range of drinks and tapas. Very small and intimate restaurant and when full it takes a while to get served, but food is worth the wait!
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and service, just be prepared for tight, small spaces!
Excellent food and service, great place for a relatively quick meal after work. Whilst the restaurant upstairs is quirky under the arches, the seating areas are very tight. I would request a booth seat (max 2 people), but there isnโt much room in those even. We were originally seated in front of the kitchen but we asked to moved. All very tight!
Be the first to ReplyOVERPRICED AND POOR QUALITY.
Really poor quality food and outrageously overpriced. If you want good traditional Spanish style tapas, please save your money and go elsewhere. We personally dont mind paying more for nice and traditional good quality food, but charging ยฃ15+ for a small, poor quality tapas dish is really taking advantage or people. My only compliments are that the staff were so friendly and attentive. The one dish that was good and was the only redeeming factor of the meal was the Croquetas (of which they sell in Iceland for ยฃ2) but delicious none the less. Also, as a Spanish person, these portions are not to a traditional size standard, and the prices 5x less. Please save your money. This place is taking advantage of being in London.

Impromptu walk in and glad we did. Itโs very snug but that adds to the atmosphere and the food was excellent as was the service. Whatโs not to like.
Be the first to ReplyVery tasty well cooked food
We were able to get in here for dinner on a busy Saturday night in November. The seating wasn't the best - we were on high stools against a window looking into a rather scruffy alleyway. However, we were glad to be able to find a restaurant that could fit us in without a reservation and the food was excellent. Between three of us we had padron peppers, baked tetilla cheese, croquetas (ham, chorizo and smoked bacon), grilled artichokes, Iberico fillet (Marinated pork fillet with trintxat potatoes) and Presa Iberica (Pan fried shoulder of Iberico pork with roasted peppers). With wine it came to ยฃ100 including a tip which we thought was fair for a London restaurant and such nice food. All of the food was delicious and really nicely cooked. We'd definitely eat here again.

The squid ink paella and huevos rotos outstanding! The croquetas and vinaigrette sardines also amazing!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent, as usual.
Excellent food, consistent standard and a good choice available.Good selection of wines, beers and cocktails. Lovely atmosphere and the staff friendly. This was not our first visit and will not be our last!

Prebooked with friends-4 of us in total. The food was absolutely delicious. The seating was cosy so make sure you like the people you're going to be eating with. Due to it being tapas it was quite expensive as it's hard not to choose lots of dishes to try them out. The croquettes & paella stood out as amazing dishes. As much as I love tapas I often find myself not being full afterwards. That said, I would return again. A cute little restaurant (we sat upstairs) right in Borough Market.
Be the first to ReplyQuirky Spanish restaurant
A quirky little restaurant serving great food! We sat upstairs which was slightly cramped but under the railway arch.. so something different! The food was very nice and authentic Spanish tapas! Service was a little slow but they were busy. I will definitely return with my husband.
Be the first to ReplyLovely flavours tucked away under the railway
A really lovely tapas place tucked right under the mainline at London Bridge (and occasionally therefore quite noisy). Those flavours! The black paella was particularly great, and though I'd not usually mention patas bravas, they were particularly good - sometimes they can be drowned in sauce, but here the potato flavour was allowed to come through. We requested the quietest table possible as we are both a little deaf, and they seated us sensibly by the door so we only had people talking on one side of us. I'll be back
Be the first to ReplyNice food, poor atmosphere
The food and service at Lobos were great, if a little overpriced. Itโs an extremely cramped seating arrangement and unfortunately our meal was ruined by the table next to us shouting extremely loudly and obnoxiously. This isnโt the restaurants fault of course, but itโs worth bearing in mind if you donโt like sitting on top of the table next to you and prefer a more private experience. Overall, wouldnโt return.
Be the first to ReplyCosy atmosphere and fresh food
Very cosy atmosphere - don't bring a jumper and be prepared for the whole restaurant to hear your conversations - but not at all imposing. The menu is quite small but has plenty of staples, with simple bread and chorizo to more expensive seafood plates. Between two of us we had three starters and three main tapas which was more than enough. Prices not cheap (it's London) but pretty reasonable on the whole - soft drinks or water would really bring the price down if you were so inclined.

I nearly didnโt book because of other reviews, but so glad we ignored them! Yes the portions are small and a bit pricey BUT so tasty!!! And the cocktails are delicious
