Little Nonna's Philadelphia Reviews from The Last Year
Wonderful meal, service, and atmosphere.
Get the Sunday gravy if they have it when you go, it's insanely good. Cozy and cute date night spot.
Finally made it here.
Nice atmosphere inside but it's small and tight. Good service but it was early in the night so not busy. Contrary to what the others say we did not like the meatballs. There was a weird ingredient in them (maybe fennel) and too much ricotta so we asked for more sauce and that helped. My husband had chicken parm and was disappointed because he could tell it was deep fried and I had the Campanelle Nero which was good. Wouldn't go back
Amazing experience and loved the outdoor seating
Amazing experience and loved the outdoor seating arrangement. Food was tasty and some of the best Italian food in Philly and super friendly waiters!
Really enjoyed the meatball appetizer.
No surprise why it is a best seller. Great atmosphere too.
Vodka pasta was so amazing and has to be one of the best
Vodka pasta was so amazing and has to be one of the best I've ever tried. Pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce was light and so delicious. Highly recommend checking this place out.
Nice Little Taste of Italy
This is a great little spot we ate in the courtyard the food was amazing very tasty and generous portions we will definitely be back again next time around
Everything was so lovely.
We sat at the patio--such a cozy atmosphere. But inside-there was a heavy smell and not so much fresh air. Small-crowded dining. While we were passing to go patio, I could not breathe inside. I am glad we sat on the patio. Our favorite thing was how our server, Inti, improved our night. She was quick, careful, professional, and very friendly. She checked on us without needing her--excellent, outstanding professionalism. We love every second of it. We will be back! Special thanks to Inti and her smiles.
The food was so good at Little Nonna's! First of all, the
The food was so good at Little Nonna's! First of all, the garlic bread comes with a head of roasted garlic, which is divine. The meatballs came served on a bed of polenta which was an unexpected but pleasant surprise. The meatballs are stuffed with cheese and are so flavorful and packed with herbs. I got the Tufoli Rigate at the recommendation of the server, and it was a really good savory, slightly sweet, creamy dish I would order again. It was a bit heavy so I ended up taking some home and it reheated fine the next day. The service was great, answering many of our questions on the menu. We came on a Wed around 6pm and didn't have to wait for a table for 2. Definitely recommend it, and plan on returning in the future!
We ordered takeout from here: one spaghetti and meatballs
We ordered takeout from here: one spaghetti and meatballs and one rigatoni alla vodka. Both were good, but I have had better pasta elsewhere. Nothing was bad, just slightly lackluster. The meatballs, however, were very good! It could be that their takeout is less impressive than their dine-in experience, so I'd be willing to try again!
The food is amazing.
Such a quaint place to dine. A little small for a large group but worth coming here.
Quaint place in the gayborhood, cute ambiance, greathost
Quaint place in the gayborhood, cute ambiance, greathost and staff and reasonably priced for CC. Loud, small and just underwhelmed by the food. Ordered the much lauded Sunday Gravy. Nice portion size with three meats. The sauce on the meats was good but on the pasta it was lacking. Just expected more I guess flavor wise.
Great Place for Italian
Great little Italian place. Everything was cooked well and with interesting combinations of flavors. There are the traditional "red sauce" Italian dishes, but also more creative dishes. The meatballs, gnocchi were awesome. Very friendly for kids as well. Don't sleep on the grilled bread, there are worse ways to spend 3 bucks. Friendly service. Good prices.
Great food!
Nice tiny restaurant. The food was excellent. I loved the fusilli with pesto. The fish was excellent too. One issue only: there was a huge dog at one of the tables in the restaurant. My son panicked since he is allergic to dogs and wanted to make sure that he does come into contact with the dog since the owner decided to go to the washroom with the dog and had to pass through the narrow passage in between the tables! Overall the food was great but of course on the pricier side
Go somewhere else
Was looking forward to doing takeout from Little Nonas. However: One of the worst tasting tomato sauces I've ever tasted. Medicinal or cleaning fluid-like taste. I could bot be sure. Caesar salad greens okay, but dressing bland and without Parmesan flavor. Chicken parm equally tasteless. Little cheese. Eggplant parm was flat and over baked. Little cheese taste as well. This is owned by a pizza place.
Authentic Italian meal in center city
Love this spot! You must try the garlic break. It comes with a fully roasted garlic bulb and the breads comes from Sarcones Bakery. You really can’t go wrong everything is delicious. The pasty and gravy is huge and fabulous. My go to is the chicken parm that comes with Buratta cheese. They don’t have a full bar but you can get a glass of wine. Also a great patio in the back!
If you are super hungry this is the place to go.
Very quaint restaurant. Portions are huge. Neither I or my wife came close to finishing the main course. Not very authentic Italian , perhaps Americanized Italian. Good but not mind blowing. Service was efficient, but not friendly.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it? |
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid? |
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted. |
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from? |
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
How to list a Nobu Malibu reservation
Hi, I have a reservation to Nobu Malibu, but since they don't do text or e-mail confirmations I haven't been able to get my reservation posted. I have posted a screen shot of the phone conversation on the listing, but it keeps getting rejected. If anyone has an idea how I can get it approved that would be much appreciated, thanks!

Give the best answerConcierge change fulfillment time
I posted a request for a reservation this Thursday between 6:30 and 8 pm and initially the potential seller said it would be fulfilled by today. Now they changed it that they will only fulfill it by 5pm that same day. Basically I would have an hour and a half to get to the restaurant. Is this allowed?

Give the best answerApp
This app is a catfish and overrun by people programming “bots” and algorithms. It makes it frustrating for someone not well versed in this to have any movement. I thought this would be a fun side hustle, but unfortunately it’s become like any other “side hustle”. Don’t waste your time with this crap. Not a question, just a suggestion. Also don’t pay these fake “gurus” hundreds of dollars to teach you. Might as well sign up for a software class. 😕
