A beautiful restaurant in a convenient location on the Lincoln Center property The menu offers upscale Italian dishes that are on the pricey side. Can't beat the efficient service that will get you to the theater with time to spare. It is the main reason to book your reservation

Food was varied and excellent! The papparadela was outstanding with fresh sauce of white bolognese. The burata with pomegranate seeds and pistachios was inspired. Desert we chose, to share, was a fabulous tiramisu!

Such a classy and delicious Italian spot! I love coming here before a show at Lincoln theater. To start, the interior is spacious, sophisticated, and timeless. The service is impeccable. They even remember your show time to make sure you get there on time! The food is delicious. We got the burrata to begin, which was really creative with pumpkin seeds and fig. I got the ravioli, which was so rich and yummy. This will continue to be my go to spot before a show at Lincoln theater!

Michelin worthy. Though no Michelin Star....., yet. Every single dish we ordered were just absolutely delectable.

The view from this restaurant is fabulous overlooking Lincoln Center on one side and The Julliard School on the other side. The food is eclectic and very good. We had a great time and really enjoyed our visit. The only thing that I would criticize at all was the portions are on the smaller side, but that tends to be th e case in NYC.

Had dinner here before a show at the Nee York Philharmonic and it was excellent. First the location can't be beat. It is so close to everything at Lincoln Center. Second the glass walls make the views during dinner wonderful. There isn't a bad spot to sit. The service is excellent. Our waiter couldn't have been nicer. Finally there's the food. Everything was outstanding. If you are in Lincoln center and trying to decide on a spot near a show this is it. Book it now!

We booked this restaurant due to its convenient location, as we had a show at the Lincoln Center right after dinner. It's on the same block and only a couple hundred feet away from the doors of the theater. When we checked in, we were asked if we were trying to make a particular show time so they could try to accommodate that as best as possible. We allowed 2.5 hours when choosing our reservation time so it wasn't an issue, but this would be a very welcome part of the experience for those who might be running on a tighter timeline. As it turned out, we had an extra hour to spare after we left the restaurant. With this extra time before our show, we took a stroll down to Venchi, a chocolatier and gelato establishment about 4 blocks away that I highly recommend. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. If you can, try to secure a table next to the floor-to-ceiling windows for great views of the Lincoln Center. I had the wagyu strip loin, which was served with a very tasty green peppercorn sugo and potato cakes. They don't have a kids menu per se, but they had options readily available. My 7 year-old son ended up going with the butter and cheese pasta. I definitely recommend this for a wonderful upscale pre-show dining spot.
Be the first to ReplyIt was surprisingly good.
Food was delicious and cocktails were well made. Great upscale ambience and a beautiful atmosphere. The only thing that felt a little off was the waiter who was a little too energetic for the overall vibe of the place. The service was efficient.
Be the first to ReplyOMG, been patronizing PRG since the Brasserie.
Never been here before. It is the equal and then some of that one, Sea Grill, and 8 1/2. Rigatoni with merguez-like crispy bacon nubs in a rich tomato sauce was super flavorful and a rectangular shaped loin strip wagyu with matching rectangular tater tot strips was as attractive as delicious, especially the green peppercorn sugo. I was worried portions would be small. They definitely are generous sized. We ended with very hot tea, no room for dessert. PS, steak knives are laguiole. Total elegance. PPS, reception and service staff are on top of their class.

Had dinner at Lincoln Ristorante before attending an event at Lincoln Center and had a good experience. We started with the Duck Meatballs and the Tuna Crudo and both were excellent especially the Meatballs which were very nicely prepared. For entrees we had the Ravioli Bugusto which was good and the Conchiglie which was perhaps a little too salty. To finish we had the Tiramisu and the Bocca Negra, both were okay. Our server George was terrific - personable and helpful. Very elegant atmosphere and an unbeatable location if going to an event at Lincoln Center.

Don't Go!!!!While the food and atmosphere want to be really great, my experience was not what it should be. When four people order: three same appetizers and four same main meals clearly the menu options are lacking. Worse. They were playing music completely off the vibe of the location and extremely loud. Almost as if it was for the staff and not the guests. The music completely killed the vibe and setting. In the words of his friend - Run Forrest Run. Don't do
Be the first to ReplySteak was beautiful.
Service was top tier. The vibe was. Real corporate that night. Its like everyone had a business dinner happening.

We had New Year's Eve dinner at Lincoln ristorante and it totally ruined our nye celebration. The fixed menu from appetizer to main dish to dessert were not good. We didn't finish any single plate. We paid 480 for two people and I end up suffering from acid reflux.

Lincoln is the perfect upscale restaurant located perfectly within Lincoln Square. Great to go to before seeing the ballet, opera, or a concert. First, I had a dirty vodka martini with three olives, which was great. I enjoyed a great burrata for an appetizer and pappardelle pasta. Excellent size portions and the staff were extremely warm and hospitable. Great prices too for the area and can make for a wonderful night. For dessert, I tried a couple dishes but my favorite was the house made gelato. Cannot recommend Lincoln more! It was even beautifully decorated for Christmas. Make sure you make a reservation in advance because it is hopping!
Be the first to ReplyI loathe the 5 star review.
If you check my profile, you can see I'm very stingy with them. This place really deserves the highest praise. It is in a beautiful, convenient location, it has a really pleasing ambiance, the wait staff was just the right amount of attentive, without being annoying. The food - we had small plates (burrata), entrees (short rib and branzino) and dessert- was really great. It was one of the rare times I can say that I've never had anything like what I ate at this restaurant. Even their bread was great. Even their mocktails were very tasty and refreshing. So, if you're in the Lincoln Center area for any reason, but esp. if you're seeing a show, this place is a great option before or after your show. I was worried about what I call "big plate syndrome" where you get an alleged entrée the size of a quarter on a gigantic plate with some sauce drizzled like a Jackson Pollack painting -- all for $60.00. That did NOT happen. Portions just right, flavors really unusual. Loved it.

Good restaurant, but best to go after 7:30, by which time those going to events at Lincoln Center will have left. Before then, may be rushed. OK food and service.

Everything about this place is perfect -- the food, the location, the decor, the carefully choreographed delivery of each dish. My husband and I love it and tend to go for special occasions. Amazing.

C'mon people, it's true that post-covid things have gotten expensive and it's hard to find staff, but $470 for a dinner with four people is more than a bit ridiculous. A small mozzarella di bufala appetizer for $27? $39 for a small pasta dish? No. The food was okay (not excellent), the wine was good. But the service was extremely slow, despite the restaurant being almost empty. This is a serious drop in quality and value since last time I wrote a review for this place.
Be the first to ReplyEverything we had was delicious.
Located adjacent to Lincoln Center this restaurant couldn't be more convenient if you were going to a show there. The pastas were great. We had the Squid Ink Linguine, the Spinach Rigatoni and the Case Pepe pasta. Nothing was left over. The Frito Misto appetizer was great but the Octopus a bit disappointing. Enjoy.
Be the first to ReplyWe decided on Easter Brunch for convenience and open spaces.
The service was pleasant without being over the top. The food was less stellar. The sable starter was minuscule but tasty. The Burrata very nice. The lobster Gnocchi pasta was enjoyable and nicely balance with a hint of lobster permeating the dish. Of the entrees, the Lamb, described as a leg of lamb, ended up being a large scale lamb sausage bologna, with taste to match. The filet was dry (cooked medium rare) and nothing interesting - they must have known, because it was slathered in butter. The desert: the panna cotta had sat in the kitchen and was soggy; the Bacio was very lovely and rich but realistically too big - such a large portion of cream/cacao/milk with cookies was overload.

Had a very disappointing return to what used to be my favorite restaurant because of its elegance, well-mannered and superbly trained staff and kitchen. It was my go-to-place after theater matinees and for my special guests. But after last night, never again. Unable to sit at my usual place because that half of the place was closed off ( no apologies from front desk). Seems everyone is new and inexperienced.. We had the first course (servers first brought someone else's order), then waited 20 minutes for our entrees. I went to look for the manager and was confronted by someone I had never seen before who said "where are you going?" instead of "May I help you?" and told me to return to my table. He never returned to reassure us our order was placed. After more unexplained waiting, our entrees arrived- My companion's was overly spiced, mine was nothing to write home about. Never once did a manager stop by (as in the old days) and ask how everything was. I had to signal a waiter to ask for the unprovided spoon for my pasta. The tables are now uncomfortably close, and the noise level grew annoyingly loud. It's certainly not the place it used to be. Sad. We will not return nor will I recommend it to friends and associates. The thrill is gone. It's a disappointing mess without its pre-pandemic staff. Amateur night at Lincoln Center. Next time, we're going to Nice Matin which has held its own and is a joyful, delicious experience!
Be the first to ReplyIt is a convenient place to have a quick drink and/or bites
It is a convenient place to have a quick drink and/or bites before the opera or other civilized activities but the food is okay & drinks are better at surprisingly modest cost. The grumpy bartender is still there but the pleasant hostesses are efficient. Watch out push & arrogant diners with little patience. 3.5 overall.

The dark wood paneled ceilings, neutral toned carpet and chairs, and warm, dim lighting combined with elegant modern fixtures, creates a welcoming ambiance. Waitstaff is friendly and extremely helpful. First up, the amuse bouche: the crispy risotto filled with mozzarella, black truffle and pecorino is warm, rich and crunchy with just the perfect peppery touch. Next, the appetizer: the tuna crudo is a beautiful, multicolored piece of art. We are supposed to "eat our colors", for a balanced diet, right? The avocado adds a creamy texture to the bright acidity of the hearts of palm and tuna with preserved lemon, and balances the saltiness of the Kaluga caviar. On to the entrée, the Duo di Manzo: perfectly cooked filet mignon and braised short rib al Barolo in a delicious bold sauce, dressed with roasted oyster mushrooms, celery root and fontina. The meat was so tender, I'm starting to drool just thinking about it again. Finally, for desert: zuccotto with a spiced bread center, mascato macerated strawberries and vanilla gelato. Perfectly executed and beautiful in presentation. This restaurant is a must if ever you're near the Lincoln Center

With a little over an hour between performances, we went in for a drink. In 2015, we had dinner here and remembered one of the hostesses gave me a stern look when I complimented her looking like the dancer Misty Copeland. Must be my limited Chinglish. We sat at the bar and enjoyed some good drinks that are served in Rona glasses. Their open kitchen is orderly, smell-less and QUIET - the ventilators use Rolls-Royce engine or what (just kidding) must top notch. "Are they the most expensive equipments here?" I joked. The bar tender said yes - hope he isn't patronizing me -:)
Be the first to ReplyWe used to love this place and especially the wine list.
But we had a very disappointing meal here last week. The wine list is now very limited as is the menu. The food was quite poor, and the service was inexperienced. Truly disappointing overall.
