Flabby, Wet yet Burnt
Flabby, wet yet burnt pizza. They used to be good but have taken their eye off the ball. Seeking a new place for our pizza it was so bad.

Such good pizza! I have a make your own with pepperoni that was not greasy at all! It was very good with the just amount of crisp on the crust. Sadly, they do not have any gluten pizza crust for my husband. However, they did have gluten free paste for spaghetti that was really good.

A nice casual experience that didn't need reservations, with multiple locations. Pizza was good. Not crazy, but good. No complaints.
Be the first to ReplyGreat pizza and price point. Killer happy hour - ALL DAY!
This is a great little pizza and pasta joint on N Williams, Portland. Their $ 5 margherita pizza (wood-fired) is no joke! Perfectly charred with chewy crust and the sauce is on point. We also had their fennel sausage pasta and it is just beautifully al dente with superb sauce. Run there before they decide to pull back the happy hour (all day) pizza!

The best pizza we have found in Portland. This out of way neighborhood is fun to explore. Friendly service.

Salty pizza and garden fresh salads with a happy hour beer selection - what's not great about that combination? Oh yeah, its good. The pizza is a bit salty - but that is really good. Fresh dough and grated cheese need salt to zing the flavors. Although, I overheard a table next to our own complaining a bit about the "saltiness." I liked it.And, as a rule of taste - always add a pinch of salt to my pies. The salads are huge. And, fresh. I liked the mix of bitter greens and kale in the aptly named Kale-Arugula Salad. The dressing was perfect - not too much, and not too little. Perfect. The one piece of this review that keeps me from giving a Life of Pie Pizza a 5-star rating - the service. The serve is a bit . . . well . . . not super customer focused. We sort of felt that once we placed our order and made our way to the table - we were on our own. One server was really polite and kind, but they were the exception to the server team. At one point I asked where the flatware was located and I received a gesticulated pointing - not exactly customer focused. All-and-all, the pizza outshines any minor issues. It is terrific and worth a visit.
Be the first to ReplyGreat place for thin crust pizza!
Great food, excellent service, and a very nice place to go if you are in Portland and in the mood for pizza. We got three pizzas to split up among the four of us, and salads, and left feeling very happy. Try it!

Stumbled on the internet this place of pizza awesomeness. Service spot on, pizza spot in & hospitality amazing. Dog friendly & many families, couples, friends etc. All ages. It's a place you just want to be for pizza, salads & beer ( local varieties ) . A Portland homerun!

This pizza is otherworldly! Recommended by a local, so we stopped by for a quick lunch when in Portland and it was flavor heaven! Amazing staff and the food really is immense. Hoping we'll be back in Portland before long to visit again.

It was my second visit and was as delish as the first. The lunch Margherita pizza with beverage special is a steal. My only comment about the Sangria is it lacked any kick and seemed a little too homogenous in flavor, not anything distinctive in the fruitiness. The wood fire pizza is done to perfection. Our evening experience was super fun. I would say the abundance of flies buzzing around the sidewalk seating area was a bit much. More than I have experienced dining outdoors in other places.... where there are typically yellow jackets hovering. Summer in the city. They have a nice selection of beers. Non house wines are a bit spendy. We had a great time. I look forward to going again.

We’ve travelled across the world and strangely enough, Portland has the best pizza place, yep ever. Super fun trendy place, super friendly staff, but the pizza is outstanding. Thin and beyond fresh ingredients. Best we’ve had, hands down. A must while in Portland.
