Exquisite food and wine
Authentic Italian food at a high level. Very pleasant service. As the name suggests, they are also very knowledgeable about wine. Try their wine menu with the food. Exquisite.

Was here with 3 other family couples. We ordered a 7 course menu with a 7 wine menu. Everything was perfect from the reception, service, food, wines and to the exit from the restaurant. Beautiful wines that went perfectly with food. Super nice evening and everyone extremely satisfied. Everything was perfect

Lovely dinner with fabulous hosting. We did the 4 course option and enjoyed a beautiful bottle of wine recommended by our host

Excellent food and service. We had the 4 course dinner and the food and presentation were wonderful. Service was professional and friendly. The wine list is impressive and generously features, what else but Brunello Di Montalcino. Overall, a great experience and reasonably priced for the quality.

Food, wine and service was very good. The “7 disch menu” was well composed and accompanied by good wine. I recommend to go with the wine meny to the “7 disch menu” this elevated the experience to the next level. Service was impeccable and felt like a family restaurant, this made us feel very comfortable. We will come back again.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing evening at L’ENOTECA DI MR. BRUNELLO
Gildo & Jennifer are amazing hosts. The warm and authentic atmosphere they provide each time we’ve been at their restaurant is simply amazing. The food was excellent! The starter could in my view deserve a tiny little bit more salt/spice, but had an amazing balance of crunchy lettuce, perfectly cooked fish, perfect amount of currant and pea shoots. The beef tatar with Jerusalem artichokes was simply perfect in every way! The pasta with mushrooms and truffles was simply perfect, both to Michelin star level! The main bird dish was perfect. Finally the cheese, ice cream with fresh fruits and select chocolate bites was a luxury treat to finish off an amazing evening. Now, I know this is overwhelmingly positive feedback, but I must say that the wine pairing was also spot on for each dish. The Prosecco is also highly recommended as a start. The two young ladies who was serving us at the table were both sweet, authentic and showed an amazing balance of keeping the water supply coming all evening in a subtle manner, perfect timing between dishes and presenting the food and wine with warmth and authenticity. Thank you so much for an amazing evening. What a lovely place you have with excellent food, wine and warm atmosphere.
Be the first to ReplyToo many flaws for this price
The decor is very nice and it was overall a good experience, but too many flaws for the price of the meal. The wine quantity was too light for the price. Potatoes in too many of the plates. Gnocchi too simple for the gourmet positioning of the restaurant. Potato with the guinea fowl poorly cooked. Sauce of guinea fowl too vinaigry. Size of cheese portions -especially gorgonzola and parmesan ridiculously small. Lemon cake desert missing more zesty acidity like lime or lemon peel. Overall it felt like a very good business model where the menu was optimized more for the profits than the quality of the experience. Baccala, potatoes served generously, anything more expensive served stringently. And the service was friendly but not at the level expected for this kind of restaurant. Overall experience, almost but not quite. The potential is there but nothing special going on here - unless it was just an off night.
Be the first to ReplyTop class authentic Italian food!
What a fantastic restaurant ! The food was delicious, the wine excellent and the service outstanding! You get to choose between a 4-course or 7-course menu and you let yourself be amazed by a top quality dinner. The mushroom and truffles ravioli was one of the best pasta dishes I ever had. Looking forward to going back!

Such a lovely evening
Top little Italian family owned restaurant
This is a cosy small top quality, pleasant family owned restaurant.
The food is delicious and the wines a really great. The service in top.
The place is not far from anything - within walking distance of Tivoli and Glyptoteket. and Kalvebod Brygge.
You need to book a table well in advance.
I am looking forward to coming back.
Italian class in CPH
Matched wine and Nordic food is very popular in Copenhagen. However, the Italians having been doing this for years. The food is superb and there is a choice of either the 5 or 7 course menu. Furthermore if you are brave you can get seven matched wines. The wine is simply a different level of quality and up there with the best in Copenhagen.
Be the first to ReplyExceptionally delicious - truly Italian cuisine
This was our first visit to Mr. Brunello - but definitely not the last. From the outside the restaurant looks a bit boring - but inside you immediately feel at home (surrounded by winebottles). We had the full menu - 7 courses - and what a feast. All the dishes were well prepared, nicely presented and simply just top quality. Super service including fantastic guidance on the wine selection by the owner himself - at reasonable prices. Looking forward to our next visit to Mr. Brunello in a not too distant future.
Be the first to ReplyThey should have a Michelin star - don't miss the January-February special menu
Jennifer and Gildo makes the most amazing food, and serve it with equally amazing wine at prices that are very very reasonable. The January-February "New Years" menu consist of 10 anti-pasti followed by 3 pasta. I was just there yesterday and today decided that i have to find time to come back one more time in February so i do not have to wait a whole year before this manu comes back
