Le Soufflé Paris Reviews from The Last Year
Bookings essential to avoid disappointment. Delicious soufflés!
Had a very enjoyable lunch experience here! Very friendly staff and delicious food. I was initially going to go for the "Le Menu Tout Soufflé " so I could try three different soufflés but I'm so glad I ended up just opting for two - the Henry IV (chicken and mushroom) for main and then the pistachio with chocolate sauce for dessert because these soufflés are big and very filling! Pleasantly surprised that they had my favourite tea, Mariage Frères, so I paired Thé à l'Opéra with my soufflés. Particularly with my dessert soufflé, it really to helped balance the sweet chocolate sauce. If you're interested in trying, definitely make a booking to avoid disappointment. Am planning to come back to try more soufflés the next time I'm in Paris!
Excellent soufflé restaurant
Excellent soufflés, the cheese and the Grand Marnier at the top, but the others very good too. Nice room and excellent service, only by professionals which is notable. Pleasant clientele, both regulars and well-behaved tourists. Just behind the Concorde. Reservation required +++ and book in advance, especially on weekends because it is a very well-deserved success. Congratulations to the whole team !
Delicious.
Was so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We had reserved as we were looking for a lunch place near Place Vendome as it was on our path that day and it was recommended to us on a forum somewhere. I thought it would be filled with tourists. But no, from the conversations around us, it seemed to be filled with locals that came pre-theater or during their lunch break. they had a great lunch menu with a few options, including soufflés, but other choices as well. We were really glad we picked the menu with only 2 soufflés. The table besides us that 3, and portions were huge. I couldn't even finish my meal, so I can't imagine with 3. We had a green salad, followed by a Soufflé Henri IV for me; and the pear and cheese (Roquefort?) soufflé for my daughter. Both were great. Hers had more flavor, but mine had chicken and a great sauce. We both loved our options. For dessert, she also had a pear soufflé while I had a raspberry one. So big! We couldn't finish them, but very delicious. Service was great.
Exquisite souffles
Great service, unbeatable souffles and at a good price. Easy to reserve through the website. Very good situation
A delicious Parisian lunch
I was immediately enthusiastic about the lively and engaging atmosphere of this place located in a green pedestrian street, giving it privacy and familiarity. Superb soufflés in savory and sweet versions with a strong and refined flavour. Congratulations to Serge who served us with great kindness.
Unmissable soufflés
Very central location. Savory soufflés and space desserts. Savory soufflés are often the basic cheese one with the addition of a sauce to be added at will. All excellent. The 40 euro menu offers three soufflés, but there are really too many. We chose two savory and two sweet: with the addition of water and wine we spent 95 euros.
The best soufflés!
Every time I go to Paris, I eat here! My favorite restaurant & quality & service always great! They don’t rush you, although they do have 2 sittings so go early when they open. We made reservations mo this in advance, as we wanted to make sure we got in. Escargot & foie gras great! Soufflés light & fluffy! Like eating sweet air!
Amazing soufflés as expected
Fantastic cheese soufflé and desert soufflé! I believe I had the caramel soufflé for pudding and it was amazing, not too sickly sweet.
Our most recommended restaurant
I first went to Le Souffle in 1973 with my mother-in-law. We found it by accident and loved it. I have returned a number of times and it does not disappoint. We have been there were friends and family, chatted with other diners and it is a place we love. I always have the Grand Mariner shuffle. My husband has the Apple Calvados. This year our bill was 132E.
There is no Paris without soufflé
An evaluation must always consider the type of venue that is the subject of it and whether it corresponds to your type and expectations. A tourist place by definition, located behind rue de Rivoli, a stone's throw from place de La Concorde, this place is entirely dedicated to soufflé, from the entrée to the dessert. Two small rooms, tables set with tablecloth, quick and courteous service. His Majesty the soufflé does not disappoint in any of its versions: with fois gras, with boeuf, with roquefort and, finally, with grand marnier. Normal prices for Paris. If you are looking for this Parisian delicacy, which strange as it may seem, is not easy to find in restaurants in the city, this is the right place, which delivers what it promises with its own professionalism.

Prepaid Reservation Fee

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
