Le Soleil d'Or Verzy Reviews from The Last Year
A True Gem
Le Soleil d'Or offers exceptional value for a 5-star boutique hotel experience and exemplifies the essence of peace and serenity nestled within the Caribbean. As soon as we arrived, we saw nature's beauty everywhere, with colorful flowers decorating every corner. The attention to detail in the design and construction of the property is evident, with even the Manor kitchen boasting top-of-the-line Viking appliances. However, it's not just the physical aspects that set Le Soleil d'Or apart; it's the unparalleled service that elevates the experience. The staff, exemplifying world-class professionalism, were super attentive, and their warmth and genuine friendliness made us feel like honored guests from the moment we stepped foot on the property. Cleanliness is paramount here, and the staff's dedication to maintaining impeccable standards is commendable. The Coast House property, with its stunning views and tranquil atmosphere, provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. The privacy and quietude of the surroundings enhanced our sense of escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Le Soleil d'Or delivers on its promises, and then some, making it a destination worth visiting time and again. Amar, Sylvia, Rene, Amanda, Bob and those names we’ve missed, contributed to a most remarkable vacation… they and the property….a true gem!
Tranquil retreat from the daily hustle and bustle
Beautifully kept farm-to-table boutique hotel with spacious rooms and picture-perfect views. My husband and I wanted to escape from the hectic pace back home and Le Soleil D’Or did not disappoint. Located only about 15 mins from the airport, you are collected by the hotel concierge and given a tour of the grounds upon arrival and check in. Included in your stay is a generously portioned breakfast with garden view as well as an approx. one hour tour of their farm. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner for an additional charge (simply inform them you will be coming) so that they can make sure you have a seat reserved. We stayed in the Star Apple room which boasts a luxurious bath tub and walk out patio leading directly to the pool. Guests staying at Le Soleil D’Or also have access to the Beach Club which is only 4.15 kms down the road. You can borrow their bicycles or use their electric scooters. Make sure to bring a towel from the pool and lots of water. A big thank you to the Staff for making our stay extra special and for accommodating my husband’s gluten allergy. They took extra precautions in making sure his food had no cross contamination and he even had his very own bread each dinner.
Absolute perfection and cannot wait for our return trip
Everything was exceptional. The rooms were comfy and spacious. The shared living/kitchen areas were exceptionally clean and easy to come back to after a day out around the island. The staff was phenomenal. Not a single detail went unnoticed. Everyone worked so incredibly hard and it showed. Each day was amazing. The farm tour was incredibly interesting and the literal terraforming that happens to grow such delicious food there is astounding. The food was five star. Rene put so much soul and detail into his food. Every night was better than the last. Between Rene and Sylvia, we were complete spoiled. Highly recommend trying the Brac cloud, my daughter’s favorite dessert ever. She is still begging me to email Rene for the recipe. Pizza night was a really fun experience and we had our Easter dinner here which was absolute perfection. The beach club was wonderful. It was pretty secluded during the week as it was only open to the hotel residents but the weekend was still relatively low key and the bar and kitchen opened for lunch and dinner. The ocean was amazing. We snorkeled right off the beach for hours. There were umbrellas and chairs for everyone. And the stars at night were breath taking. We rented a car and were incredibly happy we did so. We went to all of the snorkeling sites around the island, visited the local caves, hiked a few trails, went to the lighthouse, and even the parrot preserve. There was no need to rent a boat to snorkel. We saw so much flora and fauna everywhere we went. Truly a nature lovers paradise. The island was a true treasure. There is so much life and beauty everywhere which is personified by the amazing people who live there and bring that joy into the world. Anil and Amar were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we had a most pleasant stay. Staying open late our first night to make sure we ate dinner and even accommodating us an extra night after our travel plans were changed due to the weather. We had such an amazing trip and have already booked another trip for 2025. We all decided it was a new family tradition.
An ideal escape
I booked a trip to Le Soleil D'or for 5 nights to reset my brain and body with some much-needed alone time in the sun, and I came away so satisfied by the level of sophistication and personal care I was met with at this beautiful hotel. I stayed in the Pink Guava room, which is airy and spacious and located directly above the verdant courtyard and beautiful on-site pool. Every morning brought a filling breakfast, and I spent my days riding back and forth to the nearby, luxurious Beach Club on a Bird scooter; one of a handy fleet of four available in the main house's utility room. Soleil D'or's lovely adjacent farm seemingly has every fruit and vegetable you could possibly dream of, and in particular, the dinnertime Okra dish, lunchtime chicken sandwich and the incredibly fresh ceviche were relied-upon restaurant favorites of mine. In particular, staffer Rene was so attentive and lovely to talk to. Whether you're a couple, a family with young kids, a pack of friends or you're kicking it alone with several books like I was, this is the place to go if you want to hide away in paradise.
Relaxing weekend getaway
Le Soleil d’Or is an excellent boutique hotel in Cayman Brac. This would definitely be my top choice for another relaxing beach holiday away from big resorts or mass tourism. Anil and the rest of the staff are extremely attentive to all the guests needs. As a young couple we unfortunately could not rent a car in the Brac but Anil provided transportation for us on more than one occasion to/from the Beach Club. The restaurant staff are very friendly and accommodate various requests during the stay (just make sure to request it in advance). The food is delicious and you can taste how fresh it is. The tomato soup was a favorite for me. Also, the complimentary homemade cookies, fresh juice and fruit in the communal kitchen is a great touch. The farm tour is a must! There is an incredible ocean view from the farm and you get to learn so much about various types of fruit. Also, the tasting is a unique experience since the farm grows some very unique fruits that can only be found in limited parts of the world. If you are looking for a calm long weekend away from the busy Grand Cayman, I would definitely recommend Le Soleil d’Or.
A Great 5-Star Experience
We were staying in Cayman Brac for a week and needed two nights lodging somewhere on the island. We had previously had an amazing dinner at the Le Soleil D'Or Hotel restaurant and also visited their Beach Club not far from the hotel. I called and spoke to Anil who said they had someone leaving the one room they had at the Beach Club and we could move in at 4 pm. Anil picked us up in the hotel van from where we were staying and took us to the hotel to register and then to room at the Beach Club. Anil picked us later for another incredible dinner at the hotel. It was pizza night and that proved a whole lot more than pizza. We were first served a gigantic platter with an assortment of cheeses, breads, fruit and nuts. Then we each selected our own custom toppings for our pizzas. The Panna Cotta desert with a passion fruit topping, made by their very talented pasty chef, was off the charts. Everything they prepare at the hotel restaurant comes from their 10 acre farm on the bluffs above the hotel. We spent the entire second day at their private beach after a five-star Eggs Benedict breakfast. Afterwards, we were even given a 1-hour tour of the farm which included a tasting of many of the fruits grown there. Our room at the Beach Club was perfect with a very comfortable king size bed and a view out to the ocean room the deck. We had one more extraordinary dinner at the hotel that evening with transportation to and from the Beach Club by Anil. He also picked us up at 7 am and took us to the Cayman Brac airport the next morning. The entire experience was way beyond our expectations and the restaurant a gourmet delight. We highly recommend this 5-star boutique if you ever plan to visit the Brac. Make sure you ask for Anil, he is the BEST!!!!
Elegant Beauty
Le Soleil d'Or is the proverbial hidden gem. Located off the beaten path on Cayman Brac, yet easy to reach from Grand Cayman. Outperforms in every category. Level of care taken across the board in setting, design, decor and by staff is impressive. I marveled at the place, really. Who built this little gem, as it was love that put all of the elements together here. The finishes throughout are lovely, thoughtful and create an atmosphere that is beautiful. We were celebrating a special birthday and I was in contact with Anil, Operations Manager, who facilitated requests and made our stay a delight. He sent a list of local vendors should we need to arrange anything before arrival, from car rental, to a variety of excursions (scuba diving/rock climbing), massages. A fleet of Trek bikes (Cayman Brac has excellent roads), as well as a tennis court, are available on property for guests use. We were there to simply relax on the beach, and with a four night stay, chose to stay put and enjoy Le Soleil d'Or. Le Soleil d'Or's kitchen turns out delicious food at every meal. Plates are pretty, lots of choice on menu, breakfast is included in the rate. As there is a farm (yes, a working farm) on property, many ingredients are just harvested. Farm tour was informative and shows the variety of produce grown here. Restaurant and bar staff are wonderful. Whether you dine in the hotel restaurant or at The Beach Club, options abound. Our focus when traveling is on small, elegant properties who know that careful attention to detail creates a memorable experience for the guest. Le Soleil d'Or has a true team in place, who work together so your stay here is one you want to repeat!
Honeymoon of a Lifetime at Le Soleil d'Or!
Where do I begin... I told my fiance I wanted a honeymoon in a secluded, tropical paradise. He nailed it 200% with Le Soleil d'Or in Cayman Brac! Not only was it private, secluded and beautiful - it was nothing less than paradise. From the superb customer service to the breathtaking grounds, views and beaches - there were no disappointments. From the moment Anile picked us from the airport, the service was unbelievable. Even before our trip, Amar spent hours assisting my finance (now my husband) with all the details and best guidance ever. Chef Rene was, by far, the best Chef we have ever had the privilege of meeting and enjoying his culinary masterpieces. We have experienced some fine dining in our travels, but Chef Rene created masterpieces that will forever be a great memory to our honeymoon. The service and bartenders in the dining room, as well as at the Beach Club, were truly amazing. The hotel staff and housekeeping were on point and never let us down. We were treated to an incredible Honeymoon decorated room that took us by surprise. From the floral design to the champagne toasts - it was a dream come true. We stayed in Cherry Lime with spectacular views and amazing, spacious accommodations. We visited the Coast House one day and that is on our list of places at the property we must stay at in the future. The Beach Club was pristine and private also. When they are open for business, the atmosphere is incredible and friendly. When its closed - you have the ultimate in privacy. You truly get the best of both worlds. This will be the first of many visits in our future. We are beyond satisfied. 10 stars doesn't even do this place justice!
Truly a unique gem on an island less traveled.
Le Soleil d’Or is a gem. The staff are friendly, attentive & delightful. The rooms are clean & comfortable. Chef Rene’s farm to table gastronomy is delicious, creative & approachable. We took advantage of the farm tour, tennis, a bike ride to the beach club & a day poolside when we saw not a single soul for 8 hours - closest thing to being on a deserted island. Magical! The community kitchen offered daily fresh juice & fruit plates from the farm. We highly recommend & we look forward to a return visit with friends. Our last night, Chef Rene served us a lobster dinner for 2 with a creative interpretation of a deconstructed Pavlova called the Brac Cloud. For a totally unplugged stay off the beaten path, put Le Soleil d’Or on your list.
Great Escape
It was a wonderful experience with my wife for our anniversary. The food was immaculate and the room was great! It was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Grand Cayman. Anil’s hospitality was 10/10 and he made sure all of our needs were met.

The site doesn't have resources to properly execute a reservation transfer. Some places allow it however the best bet is to open a chat on the listing from the seller and communicate there

Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
