Can't wait to return! Went for dinner and returned the following morning before leaving Paris.

The service was great. We loved our food. This is a great night time vibe.

Decor and ambiance: 5/5Service: 2/5Quality: 2/5Price: €€€Location is great and warrants the outrageous prices, but the mediocre service and quality of food do not match. We ordered hamburgers (€20) and a croque monsieur (€18). The hamburgers were undercooked and we requested well done. The croque monsieur was underwhelming in taste and quality. I recommend passing by this restaurant, despite the full tables outside.

The decor - 5 stars The food - 2 stars The service - 2 starsThis place was on my list for some time and it left me disappointed. The food looks good only in the pictures, trust me. - The risotto with truffles and prawns was undercooked and the tomato sauce was superfluous. - The salmon and dorado tartar with mango had too much dill in it and the taste of it was overpowering. The service was slow (even for Paris) and not attentive.

Not sure what the low reviews are about but we had a lovely time at this beautiful restaurant we accidentally stumbled upon. The decor itself invited us in. We had great Chablis wine, the best fries ever paired with our warm French Onion Soup which was so cheesy, rich and divine! We weren't rushed, glasses of wine kept getting filled, and enjoyed a wonderful chill evening here. Will definitely return.
Be the first to ReplyGreat breakfast, kids loved it.
I especially loved the soft Parisian scrambled eggs, seriously the best I've ever had, creamy, light, went exceptionally well with the croissant and toast, planning to come back again as our breakfast spot. We will also come back and try lunch and dinner.

3.5 stars is about right. This was my 2nd time here. Great location, nice view for people watching, good service, okay food. Inside tip: know that the prices marked up for tourists!Food: I got a version of steak frites. Quality and large cut of beef! My gripes: Food wasn't piping hot, and steak had clearly been cut into to check the level of done-ness. Unfortunately, a large chunk was no where near the well-done I requested. That said, they were allergy accommodating and ingredients were quality. Service: Pretty food. Waiter had a bit of humor and was helpful in fixing another problem with my drink. Ambiance: It's the kind of bistro/café environment I was looking for! A decent option when in the neighborhood. I'd go back for some vin chaud and people watching.
Be the first to ReplyWe had a lovely meal here on our first night in Paris.
Not too much selection for vegetarians, in terms of entrees. I found one thing -- ravioles du royans, which were tiny little ravioli in a spinach cream sauce. It was delicious and a much bigger portion than I expected (needed help finishing). My husband had a beef fillet. He asked for medium and it was still dripping blood which is for me, but he said he loved it. Both of us sipped on great wine and enjoyed sitting outside. Meal came out to about 65 Euro for two people. Would recommend!

Nothing not to like! An amazing waiter and incredible house wine! The restaurant was beautiful! We enjoyed sitting outside with a few snacks and wine. My daughter ordered some kind of dessert which was a chocolate lava with ice cream creation, I took a bite and Nirvana! Our super cool waiter Franco brought us bar nibbles of olives and soppresseta, delish.. great place

We stopped here for dinner before a show at the Moulin Rouge. It was pretty average. We had the vegetable risotto which had one flavor and not many veggies. We also had the fried veal with orzo which was pretty fatty and plainly flavored.

Located amidst a lot of other cafes, but stands out for it's vibe. It's probably not know for it's french food or authenticity, but it's a good option if you are looking to eat something familiar ( by familiar I mean, eggs, burgers, sandwiches, salads etc ). What stood out was the vibe of the place. We went there in the evening and got a table outside, which was perfect to watch the people walking around and sip on some wine. If you are in the neighborhood, it's worth checking out.

Two of us came here just before dinner time rush and stayed a while. Had a large variety platter and lots of wine. Most of the finger food was very good and some were just okay. Staff was friendly! Bathroom was clean. Pretty good value although... we did not eat that much but drank plenty and it came out to $25 per person. Not sure if I would come back. Maybe if I'm in the area but I would also be tempted to try a new place.
