Le Bilboquet Dallas Reviews from The Last Year

Excellent spot for patio dinner, the Cajun chicken was a hit with our group, and the moules frites serve as a great appetizer. The mushroom risotto was light and flavorful and the veal scallopini deli is as well. Their service is top of the line. You can't go wrong with anything here, try to make a visit to experience the patio while it's not too hot.
A very enjoyable restaurant for a low key date night.
Have the Cajun chicken. It is excellent.
Delicious food with exquisite service and a breath taking
Delicious food with exquisite service and a breath taking atmosphere. Starting with the hostess (Dez), then the amazing server (Patrick) the meal was amazing. The smoked salmon appetizer was "chef's kiss", the eggs were perfectly cooked and to end it all with probably the best lemon tart I have ever had was a delight! Oh and the crรจme brรปlรฉe was top notch as well! Will be returning soon and this restaurant will be on our top five for places to dine at
Nothing really to write about.
Cute little place but the food was just meh! Date night wasn't a success. Similar to small bistros you see in Paris as it was cozy, but food did not meet our expectations. We may try them for brunch and might change our review at a later date.
The food, service and vibe at Le Bilboquet is completely on
The food, service and vibe at Le Bilboquet is completely on point. Our server Ameer was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great suggestions for every course of the meal. For Appetizers we tried the warm goat cheese salad and the Salmon tartare. Both were above expectations! For entrees I had the Dover sole and my date had the rack of lamb. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the fish was mild and flavorful. We met the bartender Edgar and he was more than happy to prepare us handcrafted cocktails. We asked him to surprise us and we ended up with a Mezcal cocktail that was 10/10. The GM Kaveh checked on us twice and it's obvious he's running a veteran crew that knows what they're doing. We'll be back for sure!
I have a medical alert service dog who has the highest
I have a medical alert service dog who has the highest certification in the world, Assistance Dogs International and has all the rights of a seeing eye dog!! The manager who refused to give me his name would not allow my service dog in the restaurant, but put us in the hot annex " garden room". This is the an absolute form of discrimination and against the LAW!!! You cannot make someone sit in an inferior room because of requiring a service dog!! Furthermore, my dog has been in the main dining room probably 15 times with no complaints, as well as Le Bilboquet in NYC many, many times and Palm Beach and the Hamptons and has eaten in more Michelin stared restaurants around the world than I can count!! Stephan the owner refused to come and speak with me in spite of the manager promising that he was on his way...he didn't show for two hours!! Horrible experience and extremely disrespectful and unfair!! Obviously awful ambiance and ok food..the waiter was fine...the manager was rude!!! Unbelievably BAD!!!!
Enjoyed Sunday brunch with girlfriends.
Service and food were excellent! We were seated in the last table on the enclosed patio and since it was such a hot summer day, they provided individual fans to each of us positioned in front of our personal place settings. It kept the meal cool and pleasant. I enjoyed the chicken paillard with arugula, sundried tomatoes and shaved parmesan on top. It was quite a flavorful dish! Servers were on point meeting our needs. I would like to give 5 stars, but I had no sense of the restaurant's ambiance since I was last to join our group and seated with my back to the rest of the patio and restaurant. It was very crowded when we got up to leave so all I could tell was that the restaurant was small. Would definitely like to try again and perhaps not sit on the patio next time. Valet parking was easy and $5 on a Sunday.
We loved our dinner at Le Bilboquet - the service and food
We loved our dinner at Le Bilboquet - the service and food was exceptional! The beet salad and tomato and mozzarella salad were excellent starters. The signature Cajun chicken with French fries was phenomenal. Salmon, too, was cooked to perfection. Le Bilboquet has an extensive wine list. Servers are knowledgeable and provide great service. Highly impressed and look forward to returning on our next visit to Dallas.
Incredible food and service as usual! My wife and I went
Incredible food and service as usual! My wife and I went for our anniversary and they went above and beyond to make it a special occasion. We look forward to going back soon.
The atmosphere and ambiance are perfect.
You almost feel like you are in Paris. Kind of a pet peeve of mine is that we had early reservations and walked into a near empty restaurant, yet we were seated next to a post. Not a great first impression. I just get tired of restaurants like this who try and fill the worst tables first. I shouldn't have to ask to be seated in the best available table. Service from the bar was noticeably slow. It was also expensive - $28 for a shot of MacAllen 12 on the rock? Multiply that by about 2 and you can have a bottle. Similarly, the wines by the glass seemed too pricey (mid 20s). Nothing from the Bordeaux region by the glass unfortunately. Other than the wait on drinks before and during our meal, service was friendly, helpful and attentive. Began with the country pate and the special gazpacho. The pate was ok, but we should have ordered the foie gras. Similarly, the gazpacho was not bad, but I have had better and would have preferred less oil. Entrees were the highlight, exceptional, and very reasonably priced. The Roasted half chicken was delicious and so perfectly prepared. My wife took half of it home. The Filet au Poivre was also perfectly prepared. The filet was tender, juicy, and had a great flavor. The accompanying fries were crisp and delicious. I highly recommend both of these entrees! In a French restaurant, dessert is a must. My better half chose the crustless apple crisp (cannot recall the name) with a small scoop of ice cream. She loved it. It was fine in my opinion, but I would try another option next time. Note: Valet parking ($7) is not complimentary for lunch or dinner and there really isn't available street parking. Not sure that makes a difference but FYI.
In the labyrinthine heart of Knox/Henderson lies Le
In the labyrinthine heart of Knox/Henderson lies Le Bilboquet, an emblematic bastion of French gastronomy that beckons those with discerning palates and deep pockets. This lively establishment, bedecked with the aristocracy of neighboring Highland Park, offers a symphony of flavors that, while not scaling the summit of culinary brilliance, still manages to entice the taste buds with its expertly-crafted dishes. Prepare your wallet for a fiscally harrowing expedition, as Le Bilboquet commands top dollar for its gourmet fare. The appetizers, priced between $16 and $30, serve as a harbinger of the financial tempest to come. It's a wonder the restaurant doesn't require an advance deposit to sample the hybrid Petrossian caviar dish, tagged at a staggering $460. Ah, the joys of dining in the realm of the haute bourgeoisie! But let us not allow the pecuniary tribulations to overshadow the culinary offerings. The foie gras, a celestial blend of decadence and pangs of conscience, arrives with an air of self-assured grandeur. Its buttery richness dances on the tongue, leaving one simultaneously intoxicated and guilt-ridden. For the goat cheese aficionado, the standout starter unveils itself as a revelation of tangy delight. Its creamy texture is tempered by the sharp bite of goat's milk, creating a harmonious yin and yang on the palate. This cheese, a testament to the dedication of the fromager, evokes the bucolic charms of a sun-drenched French countryside. The mains, regally ranging from $38 to over $65, present a procession of flavors that, while not mind-bending, manage to captivate the discerning connoisseur's senses. The dover sole is prepared with a deft hand. Its tender flesh yields effortlessly, surrendering to the diner's eager fork in a balance of flavors that sings a melodious wild-caught ode to the bounty of the ocean. Meanwhile, the filet au poivre, a quintessential French classic, pays homage to the glories of bovine indulgence. The tender beef, adorned with a peppercorn symphony, invites the senses on an aromatic expedition. Each bite, a testament to the skilled hands in the kitchen, elicits a chorus of gustatory delight. As the culinary charade unfolds, the service at Le Bilboquet shines like a guiding star. The staff, embodying the spirit of refined hospitality, exude an air of attentive kindness. They piroeutte nimbly between tables, ensuring every diner's needs are met with grace and precision. It is a delicate ballet of service, leaving one feeling both pampered and indebted. The ambiance here is elegant yet just frenetic enough to be interesting. When the nicer weather hits there is abundant al fresco seating available. In the realm of Le Bilboquet, where French culinary traditions intermingle with the deep pockets of Big D's most privileged, one encounters a gastronomic sojourn that, while not yielding profound revelations, delivers an overall delightful experience. Indulge, but beware the cost. For in this enclave of culinary grandeur, every distinctive bite comes with a price that may induce an existential crisis.

Working on your bid? |
Your bid has been โmatchedโ with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted. |
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from? |
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

How to list a Nobu Malibu reservation
Hi, I have a reservation to Nobu Malibu, but since they don't do text or e-mail confirmations I haven't been able to get my reservation posted. I have posted a screen shot of the phone conversation on the listing, but it keeps getting rejected. If anyone has an idea how I can get it approved that would be much appreciated, thanks!
