Well worth the visit!
We had just arrived in Boston and stumbled on this restaurant. Found a table outside, super kind service. No problems to share. Food was delicious! Love Greek food!

We couldn’t get a table until 8:30 so took a chance and walked in at 7 in hope of a seat. The receptionist found us seats at the bar which worked out perfectly, we had great service from Jimmy, good recommendation on the food and very friendly. They have a very cool bar underneath but sadly it was closed on the night we went.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food and atmosphere!!!
If you are looking for a great place with great ambiance, this is it. The food was amazing- order the Taziki and bread, it was made right at the table!
Be the first to ReplyONCE IN A LIFETIME, ONE DISCOVERS THE PERFECT GREEK RESTAURANT ... WE DID IN BOSTON'S BACK BAY!
We were warmly welcome and seated in a prime table at this high popular spot. We never expected the level of service we experienced here. Our servers (there were several) were all highly attuned to your palate and service expectations and they exceeded all expectations. We ordered the charcuterie board, the (patron-mixed) tzatziki (what an experience!). We had the tiropita rolls (luscious); the NERANTZOSALATA blood orange, kale, fennel, Brussels sprouts toursi, crispy farro, Kalamata olive vinaigrette (divine), MOUSSAKA braised shortrib, eggplant, mizithra bechamel, potato chips and ORTIKI grilled herb marinated quail, melted leeks, red wine stewed prunes. The service was absolutely superb, the food was heavenly and the entire experience left us feeling like we never wanted to leave. This is an experience, not just dinner. Aa we were near the door, we must have experienced at least a dozen couples seeking tables, but the restaurant was beyond full of happy and highly satisfied diners. We have visited Greece 17 times in the past 15 years; we have never had a meal so divine as this in Greece ... bringing the essence of Greek cultural and gastronomy here is what the owners of this restaurant do quite artfully! There is not another restaurant in Boston that can match this experience! We cannot wait to return! Chris, the restaurant manager, looked after us very well as did the other two wonderful folks who served our table, making our culinary and gustatory experiences incomparable!
Be the first to ReplyGreat Greek addition to Boston!
Charming and delicious experience at krasi tonight. Our waiter was phenomenal and very knowledgeable about wine and food. I am Greek and had high expectations and they were certainly met. I went with a group of 4 friends and we literally ordered half the menu and enjoyed everything. Some highlights included the Manti squash fritters,,the cheese pie appetizer, and the lamb Osso Bucco. I would definitely return again.

We went there for brunch on Sunday. Great food! Perfectly spiced and grilled souvlaki, fresh salad, and outstanding fried dough! The delicious mimosa added a nice touch. Be sure to try the Greek coffee. Service is superb. We were greeted kindly, and the table service was attentive and not rushed. We are going back for dinner in a few weeks. Can't wait!
Be the first to ReplyVery disappointed
We have been here before and had a delicious dinner hence why we visited again when we were in Boston. Our experience was disappointing as we found the food to be less flavourful than previously. Especially the osso bucco which should fall off the bone. We actually had to request a serrated knife for one of the larger pieces which was just plain tough. We explained this to one of the servers who checked in on us ( not the person who was our assigned server). His response was “excellent”! We had to explain this was not excellent and disappointing. We told him to speak to the equivalent of the maitre d. They never acknowledged with us. Wines are excellent and good atmosphere but we will not be back.
Be the first to ReplyWhat a treat
What a yummy restaurant this was! Every dish we tried was delicious - from chicken souvla to scallops, from lamb to octopus. The outdoors patio is nice if you can get a table, though expect a wait even at late hours. Quite reasonably priced, especially for such an area.

We passed by and chose to have dinner at this place. We were unsure of what to order and asked the waiter for suggestions. He recommended 8 different choices and even went back to out table informing of changes/updates to availablity of choices. It was served timely as we finished one course. We had a great time savoring the dishes. We will surely come back when in Boston.

It’s hard to get a reservation at Krasi, and we got very lucky walking in on a Thursday night and being seated right away. Beautiful renovation of the former Cafe Jaffa. The food is fabulous- everything we had was delicious- tiropita rolls stuffed with halloumi; lamb osso bucco, rotisserie chicken and the ‘pita’ of the day (mushroom pie) and salata. We aren’t wine drinkers but they are known for their varied selection. The service was wonderful. If you can get in - go!
Be the first to ReplyMagical experience
Each dish was a magical experience, elevating Greek food to unprecedented levels. Our server, Nadia, cheerfully and patiently guided our wine choices, and carefully accommodated our dietary restrictions—a true professional. Highly recommended: Taramosalata with huge chunks of lobster meat, Kalamari with amazingly flavorful rice, Octopus Mortadella with powdered olive oil. Be brave and try a glass of the unusual “Tear of the Pine” retsina—surprisingly refreshing. Reserve a table well in advance since there is obviously an excellent reason why this restaurant is so beloved. Five exceedingly enthusiastic stars!
Be the first to ReplyGreat atmosphere, great food
What a place. The high ceilings create a fantastic ambience with great acoustics and the sound of happy customers. We opted for a range of mezze to begin with and being a table of five ordered more of the dishes we liked. All were delicious, served with a smile and washed down with a good bottle or two of Greek wine. What’s not to like.
Be the first to ReplyFinally, a Boston restaurant with class
Just a wonderful experience from table to staff to wine to food. Delicious mezze dishes included salata, kopanisti, kalamari, and souvla (chicken). Did not stay for dessert but will definitely save some room next time.

Everything about our dining experience was a 5 star! The atmosphere was awesome, the service was spectacular and the food was all delicious!!! I will be returning!
Be the first to ReplyGreek Experience in 60 Minutes
Modern Greek-inspired decor, welcoming and attentive staff, innovative take on many Greek classics ala small plates - we had 9 in total topped off with a delightful galaktoboureko that is a far cry from your yiayia’s 9x12 pan baked versions. Imagine all of this marvelous food rushed to your table at a break neck pace, one plate after another - giving you little time to savor the chef’s hard work. In-and-out in 60 minutes. No valet.
Be the first to ReplyDouble charged; terrible communication
First about the restaurant. The food's OK - nothing special; I've had much better Greek food - at much lower prices, elsewhere. Our waiter encouraged us to order multiple dishes, which was fine - except that they were delivered individually, separated by long intervals, which rather spoilt the "mix and share" vibes. Furthermore, the restaurant was so dark we couldn't read the menu, and so noisy we couldn't hear each other speak. Now onto our major gripe: we were double charged - and because we'd paid by debit card, this was money came straight out of our bank account. Now mistakes do happen, but what really caused annoyance was the lack of action from the restaurant. I telephoned - no answer; I texted - no answer; I filled out a web form - no answer; I e-mailed (twice) - still no answer. After two days of waiting for a response, my patience snapped. Since we were leaving the city the next day, my wife and I decided to pay a personal visit (in pouring rain) to speak with the manager. He explained that all communications go through to the owner - and when she's away, nothing happens. Not good! Whilst the manager was duly apologetic, and we ended up getting a cappuccino each for our troubles, this should never have happened. I did finally hear back from the owner - when she had returned - but wasn't reassured by her failure to address the lack of communications (as I had suggested in a follow-up e-mail). As a result, I really can't recommend this outfit.
Be the first to ReplyIncredible food
The atmosphere is wonderful from the moment you arrive. Try to sit at the counter to watch them cook your meal. I have never had a salad like Marouli, this is perfection. The best dish of the evening the Lahano. Who knew cabbage and tomatoes could be so incredible. The pita is more like a stuffed bread/pot pie. Let the servers be your guide with the Greek Wines. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked superb! Enjoy!
Be the first to ReplyThis is an amazing restaurant
We have been here three times over the summer and each visit was amazing. Excellent service by people that know the menu and the wonderful selection of wines. Every bite of anything we tried was amazing. We would go more often but tough to get a reservation.
Be the first to ReplyThe Best Greek Food - Official
We just happened by here after the concierge at the Four Seasons mentioned it. The staff are really friendly. Its a first come / first served place. They got a table very quickly. The food was sublime. Every dish was out of this world. Chicken skin with whipped feta was incredible. The pork souvlaki was unbelievable. It was impossible to fault anything. Whether you fancy greek food or not, go here. Its an incredible experience
Be the first to ReplyUnique, flavorful small plates - must try!
Only 26 reviews?! This place deserves 1000+ reviews. My colleague and I came here for a business gathering and the food was out of this world! Hard to get a reservation, so come early. Krasi stands out by offering creative, top notch Mediterranean tapas for sharing. Most people go to Boston wants to try the traditional seafood dishes, and there are many high quality French and Italian restaurants. I would highly recommend you give Krasi a try. Their bread and butter/honey are out of this world! The 'artichoke' dish was amazing, doesn't taste like regular artichokes at all. The chicken and lamb dishes are full of complex flavors. Best of all, it's actually very reasonably priced for Back Bay. The only downside is that they are only open for dinners. Come with a group and try all their dishes and unique Greek wines. You will be amazed.

Great delicious food. We all shared small plates of 8 different entrees. Amazing! Savory and sweet! Everything was delicious. Great service too. Need reservation

Every aspect of the experience at Krasi is incredible. The service, food, and atmosphere are always great. Jeremiah our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. The manager Chris was great. We had to wait a few minutes for our table (which was no inconvenience at all as we could get a drink at the bar while we waited) and he offered us a round of Ouzo complimentary at the end of our meal. The wine selection is vast and they have some incredible orange wines. All around perfect dinner experience.

Krasi was one of the most unique dinners we have ever had. The bottle of ASSYRTIKO paired well with our wonderful meals. I highly recommend the octopus and seared tuna!

After wonderful experiences at Committee and Greco we were so excited to eat at Krasi for the first time with my niece visiting from Ireland. We were delighted to have secured reservations for Wednesday night dinner for the 3 of us. The restaurant was thoughtful enough to confirm the reservations in their dining room the afternoon of our dinner celebration. We arrived early for our 7:30 reservation and were informed that only outdoor seating was available. As it was 47 degrees outside we preferred to have the table in the dining room we had reserved. We were informed that our table was not available but that if we waited outside for 30 minutes we could have two stools at the bar. When I asked how three of us could dine at the bar with 2 stools the manager told me simply that he could not accommodate us. He again offered us a table out side - the outside seating area was empty. I asked were all the other guests with outdoor reservations were. He responded that he had been able to accommodate them in the dining room and that the tables were full because of a wine tasting event. I asked why he had accepted our reservation and confirmed it if he was not prepared to accommodate us. He was disinclined to talk further with me and said he had guests he needed to attend to. I had been so excited to dine at Krasi but we were treated so badly by the manager who had no interest in seating us and seemed totally unaware of the implications of denying us our reservation and ruining an evening that we had planned at his establishment. Until now, I have only ever written restaurant reviews based on my opinion of the food - I am sorry to say that I will never eat the food at Krasi because of their appalling treatment of me, my partner, and my niece.

We were there for a long weekend. Our son reserved this restaurant and it was amazing! With it being small plate restaurant, we ordered several dishes to share. They were incredible! We ordered the rolls to start with with the honey butter, incredible! Each dish awakened our taste buds to a next level. We enjoyed a couple bottles of orange wine too and topped it off with a fabulous dessert. Highly recommend this gem!
