Came to Jeju Noodle bar after snagging a reservation on resy after having notify on. The menu was a hit. The interior has high ceilings and beautiful lighting. We sat at a table near the windows and loved our experience. Let's get into it: 1) Toro Ssam Bap paired with seaweed to make your own rolls. Flavor profile and textures were amazing. Caviar and Toro complement each other so well. I watched the video of how this dish was created on Bon Appetit. Effective and creative. 2) Gochuchang Bokum - didn't realize there was so much rice in this one. We would have got an alternate to this since we already had the Toro. 3) Wagyu Ramyun - the wagyu was so tender and tasty. I would go back for it whenever I could. 4) Kyung Yangon Donkatsu. Pork was cooked to perfection. THAT TOMATO MUSTARD REDUCTION. *chefs kiss* We paired the meal with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc which went extremely well with the dish. The service was phenomenal and our servers checked up on us during our meal periodically. Pricey place but great value.
Nice place
Jeju Noodle Bar is amazing. The food is fresh and healthy. The meal was delicious. Great team and professional staff. Nice place.

I was expecting to be blown away from this place given the wait and the prices but it honestly was just, not bad. We sat after a 1 hour wait for a seat for 2 at the bar and ended up spending $100 per person which included 1 beer a person. We ordered the Chicken Wing + Caviar, the Toro Ssam Bap, Wagyu Ramyun and the Lamb Ramyun. Favorites were probably the Chicken Wing + Caviar (chicken was crispy, sauce was good and who doesn't love a good caviar dollop) just know that this is why it's expensive. If there wasn't caviar offered with the dish, I think I would've opt'd for that. The Toro Ssam Bap was actually very delicious, the seaweed was very crispy but the price $50+ for this small appetizer leaves me wondering how much of a margin they have on this. The Wagyu Ramyun was pretty rich, while the flavors weren't incredible, we ordered it because that's what was recommended by the staff, and while this is one of the most popular dishes there, it didn't blow me away. Happy to have tried Jeju Noodle Bar but the value isn't there for me.

Solid ramen spot in the west village situated in a beautifully crafted space. The minute I walked into the restaurant, I was impressed by the interior design, the seating arrangement and the music playlist. I'm used ramen places that are often in a shack, so this was a pleasant surprise. The host and waiters were friendly and helpful. We ordered the wagyu ramen and the fried chicken. The fried chicken is a MUST. It was perfectly crispy and the garlic sauce that accompanied it -- was incredible.
Favorite Wagyu ramen and all other dishes.
Earthing so delicious and love the service and ambience. Great location too.
Jeju noodle bar took a few months for a seating.
I got my hands on bar seats which I didnt mind. The atmosphere is pretty nice and quiet with dark lightning. It felt like walking into a nice lounge with a bar. The service here was on point. Everytime the food came out, the server that brings it will tell you what it is and how you can eat it. Service 10/10 Fried chicken 8.2/10 Gochujang 9.2/10 Wagyu ramyun 8.6/10 Family ramyun 9.2/10 Overall good experience and will try to come back incthe future for some dishes that werent on the menu.
Finally got a coveted resy at this restaurant.
We arrived early and were the first in line. The hostess was definitely "in character" and very serious when she seated us at a four top table even though our res was for two. They ended up having to split the table and move the other half so another party could be seated. We ordered the fried chicken- overly fancy with caviar and meh. The red snapper truffle dish was a winner and full of flavor. I would definitely order that again. I got the carafe of sake- be warned it is a small-ass carafe and no where near worth it for $42. Someone else mentioned alcohol here is not worth it and I gotta agree. I ordered their "famous" wagyu ramen and my husband got the pork ramen. The Wagyu ramen was underwhelming as the broth had no "oomph" or depth of flavor. The pork ramen was flavored much better. We also added the soy marinated egg for $4 and it was so worth it. Overall pretty good food- I would order a different ramen with the egg and get the truffle dish again but would skip the wagyu ramen and chicken. Oh!- and get your alcohol buzz before you arrive.
Adding wagyu to ramen should create a new incredible
Adding wagyu to ramen should create a new incredible flavor/taste. But when added to average ramen, it's almost a waste of wagyu. When eating here, get appetizers and skip the entrees. Or at least the ramen. Very good - toro ssam. Good - truffle domi, a bit too salty. Skip - ramyun. Especially wagyu and gochu
Expect bold flavors and fusion twists on classic Korean
Expect bold flavors and fusion twists on classic Korean dishes. It wasn't spectacular, but it was a delicious, casual meal. The ramen was a bit ordinary, but we enjoyed the other dishes like the lobster noodles with foam sauce and ssam bap. The noodles were bouncy and chewy, and everything was presented beautifully. Reservations are hard to get, and they're only open 1 month in advance.
Ambiance 3.
5/5 - Dark & cozy, but we were seated at the bar with stools where I would have preferred a table. We had a reservation & that wasn't indicated anywhere. Service 3/5 - Attentive, but not excellent. The server took away my wine glass and didn't even ask if I wanted anything else to drink. Food 4/5 -Jeju Fried Chicken - Delicious. The skin was incredibly thin and crispy and the meat was SO tender/moist. Unfortunately, eating it was a weird experience. We put it on the small plates provided... but the piece of chicken was bigger than the plate. They delivered it without any additional utensils, but it was SO hot that it was difficult to eat with our hands. Not a graceful experience and we both made an awkward mess. Provide a bigger plate? or a knife & fork without having to ask. -Wagyu Ramen - Just tried a bite and it was rich/ flavorful. -Lamb Ja Jang Myun - Salty, heavy and too spicy for me.
Great restaurant
Great Korean inspired food. The fried chicken, ja jang style ribs, toro ssam bap, truffle scallop and rack of lamb were delicious. Great atmosphere and nice friendly staff.
Excellent.Must go
Thıs ıs the second time I have been at this restaurant and it has surpassed itself The food was really excellent at very reasonable prices
So GOOD!
I had dinner here last week while spending 5 days in NYC. What an experience, I'm so glad we got a reservation. You walk off the busy street into the restaurant and you're transported into a quiet and calm ambiance that is just lovely. There was no pretentiousness here - we were welcomed and treated great from entering. The service was phenomenal - our server gave us details on all the dishes we had questions about and made sure we understood the menu. Everything we ate and drank was amazing. Such unique flavors, textures, and smells. It was all just fantastic. We loved this meal so much - I'd love to go back and try more options!

What do I do with the reservation after I sell it? Do I need to notify the restaurant?
