Jacuzzi London Reviews from The Last Year
Great atmosphere with good food
Didn’t expect to like it this much after the reviews I’ve read but it was a very nice day out with the boys food was good, waiter recommended good dishes and was really nice. Would go again🙏🏼
Just ok
The food was just ok, the service was slow and inattentive. The restaurant is worth it for the ambience, which is very beautiful
Fantastic Meal
Fantastic meal here. Lovely ambience. Very attentive service. Really couldn’t recommend this place enough, beyond our expectations. The SPAGHETTI AL TARTUFO is a must have (but very rich). I would also recommend the tiramisu. Delizioso.
The place to be seen
Service was very slow and waiters and waitresses not very friendly, food was ok but choices limited and veal was the main thing on the menu. Interior is fantastic and is probably the main reason it is very popular.
The pizza dough absolutely needs to be improved 🍕
On Saturday 20 April I had dinner at this Italian restaurant with my niece. Very friendly staff (some waiters are Italian) and beautiful location. Too bad about the pizza dough which was difficult to chew, it looked like chewing gum.... The tiramisu was good.
Worst Italian food in London!
Where do I start? Went last night after a much awaited period. So difficult to get a table, so naturally we were really excited, and had high expectations! Pros: beautiful decor. It stops there! Cons: absolutely awful food. We ordered drinks and three courses for the full experience but every item disappointed. From the soggy focaccia, to the wet based pizza, to the cold pasta dishes and the uncooked doughy churros, it was a downhill culinary spiral. In hindsight, the cappuccino was fabulous… Please don’t waste your money. Extremely overpriced and just not worth the hype! Gloria’s still remains the best Big Mamma Group restaurant. So, if you need a recommendation for beautiful aesthetics and delicious food, head there instead!
Extremely rude staff that swear at you. AVOID
We came to Jacuzzi for my birthday in January. We were so excited and looking forward to a special meal. We first walked in and were greeted (not warmly) by the front of house staff. She checked our names, told us bluntly that they needed the table back by a certain time and then another waiter took us to our table. We ordered and then I popped to the toilet. There’s a sort of lobby in between the girls and boys toilets that is just a room of mirrors. There were two ‘influencers’ in there taking pictures with a lighting set up which was totally fine but as the room is wall to wall with mirrors I couldn’t avoid walking through the background of a pic to get to the toilet. When I came back out they were still taking pictures and actually got annoyed at me for interrupting when all I was trying to do was walk back to my table. I initially didn’t want to fault the restaurant but this incident just added onto the horrible experience we had throughout the night and made me feel uncomfortable. When I sat back down our starters were there. In the middle of eating our starters the same woman who checked us in at the front of house came over with her iPad and very rudely demanded the name of the booking. When I gave my name she then reminded me, very bluntly, that we needed to leave the table by the 2 hour mark they mentioned before and then walked away. No ‘apologises for interrupting your meal’ or providing any context to why she was asking. She made sure to say it loudly for other tables to hear and it made us feel like we weren’t meant to be there. We finished our starters and mains and went to pay using the QR code on the table but as we picked it up our waiter ran over and told us to wait paying as he had something special for my birthday. He then bought over 2 limoncello shots with a candle in. We thought it was nice and then went to pay but upon inspection of the bill the waiter had actually added the shots to the bill despite the fact we never asked for it and were planning to leave before he stopped us paying? We had another booking elsewhere so we didn’t have time to dispute so we carried on with the bill which also included a £2 ‘check out fee’ and then an added service charge. We were planning to tip anyway so didn’t dispute the service charge but once we’d paid, a message pops up asking if we’d then like to tip our waiter? Well what is the service charge for? Over all we worked out we paid an additional £25 on the bill than we needed too or had asked for and felt completely scammed. I’d been initially telling my friends to go and see if they have a better experience than us because we did really like the food and ambience. But what’s prompted me to write this review was as I was showing a friend a picture I took of Jacuzzi’s famous stairs (which is constantly posted all over social media and a piece of decor that is clearly put in place for a photo op) I discovered that one of the waiter is actually swearing at me in the picture which I’ve attached. The experience is totally and utterly disgusting and if you want to position yourself as a high end restaurant in Kensington then you need to train your staff to have better manners, not to scam your customers and especially do not swear at us. What was meant to be a special and exciting night was completely ruined and now even the only nice memories we had are wrecked. Absolutely avoid at all costs.
Underwhelming and expensive
Highly anticipated lunch out booked for my daughters 18th, so it needed to be special. On arrival our table wasn’t ready, we didn’t mind much we waited patiently at the bottom of the stairs admiring the decor while people arriving after us were seated, I felt a little invisible to the staff despite being a party of 4 We were eventually seated 10 minutes late Given water as we sat and menus No one returned for another 15 minutes, when our order for food and drink was taken we relaxed and waited, mindful also that the clock was ticking ( parties smaller than 6 only have 2 hours) Drinks arrived but it was a long wait for the starters Within 5 minutes of our starter arriving the main courses we served, this really spoiled things, to make it worse mine was cold Our waitress was reasonably attentive When clearing the plates I told her of my disappointment and she did speak to a manager and had my main course removed from the bill 2 of our party wanted to share dessert Churros! Which we love when going to Spain! I was told it was for two people, that’s fine I said, they’ll share What she meant was you can’t order 1 portion you have to order 2 So they charge you twice, at £12.50 a portion that meant dessert was £25! This had better be good we said Sadly 6 dry thin churros arrived, undoubtedly frozen and reheated, with 6 sad strawberries and a small pan of melted chocolate, Very very disappointing indeed Then, after we had asked bill they brought out some tiramisu with a candle for my daughter, too late as we were ready to leave We paid and left, actually begrudging the service charge( I always tip) Needless to say we won’t be going back as the overall experience left us feel very disappointed on what was such a special day for us Underwhelming and expensive did not live up to the hype
Great experience
Warm service and great atmosphere, surprising and pleasant decor, excellent and generous cuisine, I highly recommend 👍
Appalling Experience
I must admit that this is my first time ever writing up a review, but this experience was so appalling that it's with a heavy heart that I share my experience. Despite high hopes for a memorable Valentine's Day celebration, the evening was ruined by the shocking service provided. Upon arrival, as we were escorted to our seats on the third floor, we noticed the view of the restaurant that was completely average which was shocking considering all the advertisements I’ve seen of this place which portrayed it as stunning - nonetheless, we were still brimming with anticipation. Our enthusiasm however quickly died down as realised we were invisible to the waiters. We did not recieve a single nod of acknowledgment, nor did the basic offer of water greet us during our prolonged wait. While closely observing the restaurant, it became painfully apparent that we were getting completely ignored by the staff whilst every other table that came up was given menus within seconds of being sat. After a frustrating 40-minute wait, a waiter finally remembered to acknowledge our existence with the belated offer of water. This could easily be excused by arguing that the restaurant was busy (which would kind of be understandable having worked in the industry 5+ years, but yet again not really as this is literally the job), but after watching the waiters have a good chat with one another and a casual scroll on their phones, it’s safe to say that they were more than capable of offering some type of service. Considering this dinner held significance to the both of us, without a doubt, it completely ruined our day and greatly upset us, leaving us disheartened for what should have been a memorable night. Despite half-hearted attempts to provide us with complimentary offerings (which we didn’t really care about as money has never acted as a hinderance to our enjoyment), the damage was irreparable and we left reluctantly to dine elsewhere, abandoning this place which has been way too overhyped all over social media that promised so much yet delivered so little. Well, after the debacle of our first experience, we somehow managed to convince ourselves to give this place another chance, against our better judgment. Lo and behold, the service was a slow mess. I started to wonder if they had a personal vendetta against us, because let's be real, it felt like we were the sole targets of their inefficiency. And let me tell you, I don't appreciate being the recipient of such redundant incompetence, not one bit. Not only did I miss out on the chance to review their supposedly ‘divine’ cuisine, but the whole experience was such a steaming pile of garbage. So, here's a tip for anyone considering dining there: don't bother. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere that actually values your time and money.
Better management is necessary better attitude can help as well I don’t want free food I want a nice experience.
Late. Nonchalant and sadly careless Food is ok but the bar and servers are a bit spaced out. . Would not visit this restaurants again.
Disappointed and embarrassed.
Had a nice meal, nothing special but still enjoyable, nice environment. However when we requested the bill with the 13.5% service charge removed we received the cold shoulder from our servicer and where asked why… While waiting for the bill we began to put our coats on ready to leave and could see the server and the hostess talking about us (I’m assuming because they thought we were going to make a runner being two young girls). 10 minutes later having still not received the bill we requested again and were once again asked why at which i replied 13% was too much, considering the service was standard and we’d had one main and a drink each, our visit was no more than an hour. We offered a cash tip but were told they don’t accept cash. When the card machine was finally brought over the balance presented still included the service fee!! 3 failed attempts to get us to pay the service charge!! This ruined the whole experience and is not in line with the suggestion of being discretionary!!!!
Style over substance
Looks cool but food is poor. Ordered saltimbocca - served stone cold! Sent it back only for the second effort to be cold as well. They clearly prioritise style over substance. Don’t waste your money. There are plenty of alternatives in the area.
Not great.
Haven’t been so disappointed by a meal in my life. Ordered the buratta and it didn’t come with bread, was just very badly made. Our dinners came and for the price I expected a fair amount of more food. Very bad cocktails too. Avoid.
Not recommended
Definitely style over substance. If you want an insta pic maybe ok although I am sure the influencers amongst you may know better places!! However the food is a big disappointment and far too expensive for what it delivers which is not a lot. Poorly put together in terms of flavours, variety and quality of cooking. Very lacking on the food front. Service equally lacking, leaving dirty plates piled up for so long and not even removing them when you put the next course down, come on it’s the basics of service!! If you like good quality, well cooked and presented food that is a delight to enjoy with attentive and professional service this is not the place for you.
Jacuzzi – A Tacky Attempt at Edginess
Jacuzzi, set in the bustling heart of London, attempts to meld chic sophistication with an edgy twist, but ends up delivering a confusingly tacky experience. The interior, adorned with mismatched neon signs, might have been conceived to suggest a trendy, avant-garde vibe, but it leans more towards a visual warning of the culinary disappointment to follow. Starting with the pizza and pasta—both dishes that one might hope could save an evening—the results were unimpressive. The pizza was mediocre, something you’d expect from a far less ambitious venue, and the pasta, while slightly better, was served in portions so small they bordered on stingy. The salad was visually appealing, yet it did little to impress in terms of flavor. The main course of T-bone steak was further let down by its accompaniment of burnt potatoes, an oversight that seemed to underscore the kitchen’s lack of attention to detail. The service matched the overall theme of the night: disinterested and slow, contributing to an atmosphere that felt underwhelming rather than upscale. With prices far exceeding the quality of food and service offered, Jacuzzi stands as a stark example of a restaurant that prioritizes a flashy facade over genuine quality and service. The attempt at an edgy, designer look might draw the curious eye, but the overall experience leaves much to be desired.
Lovely food, service is a let down
Visited on a Wednesday evening, and it appeared to be busy promising of a good start however our drinks order took 15 minutes with numerous waitresses walking past us and attending other tables with desserts menu straight away after main plates was taken. Surely now half way through their meal the priority is to take a quick drinks order from a table of 2 people. After we finally got served we ordered food at the same time and as drinks and asked for our olives to be brought out before our mains, which is normal standard practice when you order olives it comes before any food as a pre appetit, our waitress repeated our order back to us for olives to come out before and they didn’t they came with the main meals.. Our mains came and no condiments or even Parmesan in an Italian restaurant were offered when the last plate was put down we had to ask. No pizza cutter was provided with the pizza we attempted to cut with a knife however this obviously wasn’t going to work, prior to this we had seen our waitress cutting the pizza in the waitress station before putting the food on a table so we had to ask for this too. Additionally there was no check back on our food to ask if it was all okay - which in fact it was the food was lovely cannot fault it! After being utterly stuffed we decided to pay for the bill, a discretionary service charge was added to the bill of 13.5%, I am all for tipping the waitress when she has provided a service however we had to ask for the things which are standard to be done but she didn’t so we asked for it to be removed to another waitress, this resulted in our waitress coming over and challenging us and saying that they don’t offer Parmesan or a pizza cutter you have to ask which is so strange when we witnessed it to over tables and let’s not forget it’s an Italian restaurant. And don’t forget it’s discretionary we are not obliged to pay if we feel the service was bad we are not paying for service which was below par and when challenged in a tone which is rude and condescending is more a reason to take it off. No member of staff should be rude to a customer. The manager was also very helpful and sorted out bill for us. When we finished paying I visited the toilets where on the stairs our waitress proceeded to barge past me. Not the etiquette you expect from a waitress. Overall, 10/10 food but service was incredibly poor when compared to over Italian restaurants me and my partner have visited.
Embarrassingly Underwhelming!
My boyfriend surprised me with a trip here for my 30th birthday yesterday (09.04.24), after I've been sharing my interest to go since you opened your doors over a year ago. To my dismay, after seeing all the highlights and reels on Instagram about this venue, the poor service and quality of food really let the night down, to the point where ive carried my disappointment and I'm having to write a review a day later, because I just think it's unacceptable given the prices you charge and level of expertise you are reaching for. Now the decor I cannot fault because its beautiful. However, if your planning a trip to this place because you want to feel special, you are much better off at your unique, stand-alone, authentic local Italian. They don't recognise special occasions even if you write it on your reservation notes. Most importantly, you will be slapped at the end of your disappointing meal with a disgracelful ADMIN FEE to pay your bill via QR code, because apparently that is the only way to pay- no paper bills allowed! Which is disgusting as it's ownership of the venue to cover the costs of admin fees if your going down the modern age route of being paperless. FYI the likes of Nandos or BILLS do not charge this, so maybe take a leaf out of their book. I will be following up with a complaint email. Miss Waldron

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!

This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!

Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
