Husk Nashville Reviews from The Last Year
Excellent service and a relaxing environment.
Come here if you want a farm to table experience with southern charm. We had the quail and beef. 10/10 we will be coming back!!

Had a great experience here! We sat at the bar on a Thursday evening and had such attentive service while the staff also explained to us in great detail all about the dishes we were interested in. The food was so flavorful and although some of it looks like it'd be heavy, it had such a light and smooth feeling even after eating all night. We'll definitely be back again!
I found brunch to be overpriced and overdone.
A Bloody Mary does not need to have rice vinegar in it to be special or classy. Very tasty food but more of a wedding brunch vibe than anything else.
Beautiful, southern restaurant
,The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful and the food had a nice touch of gourmet southern flair. They were very helpful in ensuring we could get into and out of the restaurant as we had someone with accessibility needs.
Ambience and service were very good.
Food was disappointing after reading all of the rave reviews. My pork chop that was so enthusiastically described by the server, was over cooked and needed salt as it lacked flavor. The best part about my companions tile fish, were the bacon Lardon's that were served as garnish on the dish. We had the Robert Redford pie for dessert. It is a peanut butter, chocolate and whipped cream. dessert. Lots of whip cream, but the rest of the dessert Was disappointing.

Really nice restaurant in Nashville downtown area, that serves you farm to table experiences. The service is amazing and they have indoors and outdoors tables for you. I hear they charge Manu by the seasons or month. Not sure about that, but all good. Food is very nice and amazing every single one we ordered. Also the drinks are very nice too. If you have plans to visit Nashville, Don't forget to book here.
Amazing Food
The beef tartare and the pig ears lettuce wrap were simply amazing! Southern vegetables change every day and also great. Service was friendly. We are changing our plans right now to be able to come back here on our trip.

What a great brunch spot (and I'm sure dinner too)! FOOD: spot on. Every bite is crafted and incredible. A perfectly filling and satisfying meal. I ordered the egg breakfast (I forget its official name but it came with eggs, bacon, hash brown, and biscuit). Every item was just so good. Their brewed iced tea was also great. SERVICE: very communicative and professional. They were even willing to help make a menu item dairy free for dietary reasons. AMBIANCE: since there aren't so many tables, the feel is very exclusive. The large beautiful chandeliers, garden out the window, and large ceiling and wall windows create an open yet elegant vibe. PARKING: There appears to be street parking nearby but we walked there.

Husk was charming, tastefully decorated, welcoming, and delicious! The service was top notch - Dom was exceptional in his knowledge of the menu, recommendations, and hospitality. The farm to table freshness of each course served was noticeable, and the menu changes regularly to reflect this (weekly I believe). Highly recommend if you're in the area.
What a great spot to try local cuisine.
They use all local ingredients and you can tell it's of good quality. It's located in a historic home and it is decorated perfectly. The staff was very accommodating, especially with my allergies. They made sure that I could eat everything and they made accommodations if not. The menu is very eclectic but absolutely delicious. It was not released to see, but we were able to see previous days to get an idea. You definitely have to be open to trying new things going to this spot. The food was spectacular. I think my favorite part was the dessert, the peanut butter blondie. It was the most perfect sweet ending. I tried the trout because I kept seeing it on menus, and it was very good, not super fishy. You will definitely pay a premium price to come here. The food averages around $30 a plate. The drinks are also fairly expensive. It's a great experience with local cuisine and local flavors. I'd highly recommend it.

Our favorite meal in Nashville! I was a bit apprehensive with the menu but the staff was very knowledgable and all of their recommendations were top notch. We particularly loved the pig ears and the tomme with beets for apps. For entrees I had the trout with grits and shiitake mushrooms. This umami flavor bomb is probably one of the best fish dishes I've ever had. My husband had the steak which was delicious as well. We also ordered the plate of southern vegetables which we probably didnt need but it was great sampler. Dont miss the peanut butter meringue dessert!

Husk is a good place to try some local cuisine.
The cured ham appetizer with cheese mustard and the soft rolls is about as good as it gets. The tenderloin was good. Not much of it but cooked to order. I got two slices of tenderloin with one being a little chewey so that's -1 star. Overall happy with the place.
I came here for dinner with a large party.
Husk is located in a historic home transformed into a restaurant. Their menu can be very intimidating as almost all the things listed I didn't know what they were so I had to google them, but everything was delicious. We really loved all the food we ordered. We tried a couple of the appetizers, all were delicious. I tried their newest dish - trout with grits, mushrooms, and peanuts. It was very delicious. The portions are huge here you can easily split one with another person. I didn't try any of the their drinks, but the other guest said they were good. The one thing we didn't enjoy about our dinner here was our waiter. They had a very strong personality and it made us feel very overwhelmed with the wealth of information presented to us. They described every single menu option in full detail which we felt wasn't necessary. Also, the person told us we have to order everything all at once and was very pushy about the amount of appetizers we needed to order for the table. We waited an hour between eating our appetizers and getting our entrees. By the time we got our entrees it was almost 10 pm and most of us were too overwhelmed to eat our whole meal. For a high end restaurant the wait staff training can be improved. Other than that we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
Perfect for dinner before a concert.
Great meal and service in a lovely historic building. I had the swordfish served with a unique chowder stew. Very tasty.

Tucked away in top of a hill in a historic home, lies Husk Nashville. After missing out on the chance to try their happy hour burger in Savannah, we booked a reservation here to make up for it. My cocktail wasn't the best - it was kind of lukewarm and made me nervous about the meal to follow. My husband got a few rogue items: namely the pig ear lettuce wraps which sounded exotic even to me. Holy moly. They were delicious: well balanced by pickled carrots and cashews. I was into it. The HH burger was one of the best I've ever had, just like the reviews say. It's a smash burger, my fav, without a lot of toppings so every one has a purpose. I would go back just for that. The rice pudding was delightful with a lime curd on the bottom. It was a fun contrast. Oh! Forgot about the biscuits: they're served warm, so you need to get them.

This place is off the beaten path but worth the walk or dive, ( we walked 25 minutes to get their. The nice gentlemen took really great care of us, and was funny. This is place is very unique I believe and older house converted to a wonderful place to eat. They even asked if anyone had food allergies. Our food was very tasty. You go down stairs and what a wine selection they have. I would visit this place again. kj
Unique experience
Absolutely amazing. The food experience is very unique, the space is so great - nothing like I have ever seen before. The staff is fantastic!
Very nice setting in a historic mansion.
If you want something different go here. The dishes are interesting and flavorful. The swordfish on oyster stew was delicious. My gripe is that the portions are small. If you'te reaally hungry make sure you get apps otherwise you'll end up eating your meal and half your wife's meal like i did. And prepare to open your wallet if you have a few cocktails or wine with dinner!
Super not impressed.
I went to Husk a couple weeks ago on a Sunday with a reservation at the bar downstairs (didn't know I did this when I booked, but it was fine). A coworker had recommended and I'm always down for a great local spot. But you know those places that have a tiny boogie menu and there's at least one ingredient on each entree that you've literally never heard of and have to Google as you read to understand what you're ordering? That's Husk. The places that try soooo hard to not look like they're cool, but wait are so cool that each very pricey crafty craft cocktail has 8 ingredients (a dash of this, 1/8 teaspoon that, three drops of a magic elixir, two petals of a rose, the breath of a newborn fawn), that each take several minutes longer than necessary to craft, that's Husk. Anyhow, to sum it up - - the two bartenders who served us were aloof at best - the pork was desperately overcooked (to the near disbelief of the bartender who later said he's NEVER seen that before, and as is it couldn't happen. It was dry bud, real real dry). - my boring chicken was desperately small and overpriced - I'm still slightly irked at the $200 tab that wasn't close to being worth it. All for the privilege of dining at Husk. No thank you ever again so very much.
Fantastic Evening
We were looking for a quiet restaurant for dinner before a show. Husk is in a beautiful building. We were able to get reservations to the bar for an early dinner. There was nothing disappointing about our experience. There were lovely people sitting around us and the bar tender, Kevin was wonderful. The cocktails were delicious. The food was excellent. The Kentuckyaki Glazed Pig ears were unique and so good. The beet salad was amazing. I’m not sure if you could make a bad choice for dinner. They served the most amazing dessert - it was an earl gray tea rice pudding with lemon curd. I just wish we were in Nashville more nights to have gone back!
Fab evening with great food and service
Fantastic locally sourced menu. We shared between our group most of the starters and mains - there wasn’t a bad dish on the menu, everything was delicious. Our server was really engaging and fun and made the evening.

Service and setting is impeccable and three cheers for the tartare, mixed vegetables and chow chow with pimentos. However the trout main course was slathered in a too-salty lemon sauce that rendered the dish inedible and the llauded biscuits also had way too much salt. As out-of-towners, we also made the mistake of walking there from Broadway and crossed a desolate hinterland to get there.

I wasn't blown away by the food but it was good and I appreciated the thoughtful concepts behind the food. Wine was amazing, they do have an amazing selection of alcohol. Appreciated the ambiance. My favorite was the pimento cheese starter.
Bartender was exceptional.
Beef tartare and pork chop were outstanding. Excellent whiskey selection. 10/10 recommend
Incredible dinner at Husk in Nashville.
Beef tartar with banana peppers and crunchy tempura. Cucumber salad - the disk on top is frozen goat cheese. Local trout with shiitakes and grits. Chicken w Kubocha squash. And five little dishes with southern vegetables - each chef designs one. Beautiful restaurant and great service.
Husk did not disappoint
We went 1/ 23/24. We had reservations at 7:00pm but the walk only took us 10 minutes from our hotel so we arrived closer to 6:15pm. They were kind enough to seat us earlier. We had a very knowable waiter that described each dish perfectly. We had two mixed drinks to start. I requested a very dirty martini. It was good, I prefer dirtier and with a stuffed olive but it was still better than most by a long shot. I had done some research and many of my foodie groups recommended the pork rinds in white sauce. Honestly - very average. It tasted like rinds that I could get at Costco. The sauce was very good but only on 2 of the rinds. I had the trout and my husband had the pork plus we ordered the biscuits. Everything was very good. The service was exceptional and never was there a time that I needed my water filled or felt neglected. I wish we had room for dessert, but sadly we did not. We would go back and will go to their other locations.
Amazing farm to table restaurant and wonderful service
Came here for a birthday celebration and I’m so glad I did. This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. We started the meal with the bbq pork rinds, bear creek beef tartare and the winter lettuces, followed by the bear creek heritage pork and the bear creek beef. We also got an order of the cheddar biscuits and the southern vegetables. Finished the meal with the molasses custard and the blondie. Everything, and I mean everything, was absolutely delicious. The tartare was a recommendation from our server Jess who also recommended the pork as one of our entrees, both desserts and paired them with an orange blossom wine to finish the night. Jess made excellent recommendations and we finished every last bite. The ingredients were all very fresh and the menu was centered around seasonal flavors and local ingredients. I was also pleasantly surprised to find mead on the menu which is one of my favorite things to drink. The space itself is also very beautiful, set in an old home with exposed brick and polished wood floors. The staff were incredibly friendly and super knowledgeable. I can’t say enough good things about our server and everyone who “touched” our table during dinner. They all wore bright welcoming faces and answered all our questions. They asked about allergies and food aversions right away which made us feel comfortable that we could order without worries. The tables were perfectly manicured and pre-bussed as we finished different items and new flatware between courses. They also gave me a menu with “happy birthday” on the corner and finished the night with a candle on the plate for me (naturally they didn’t want to alter the presentation of the desserts.)
Fabulous experience!
What an amazing place to celebrate a milestone birthday! Talk about Southern cuisine reimagined? It was fabulous. Comfortable, old style setting, wonderfully attentive staff, yet not overbearing and a menu that was both extensive and interesting. Regardless of your entre choices, make sure to order the plate of vegetables. Each of the chefs contribute to this dish and their pride shows! The vegetables and their presentation change each night based on what is freshest and available. Just a lovely evening all around. When we’re back in Nashville, we’ll be back at Husk!
When in Nashville again, will definitely go again
Husk was recommended to us by family who ate there a few years ago, and this restaurant continues to be worthy of recommending to anyone who appreciates good food, innovative cuisine and top notch service. That is what we experienced. Nothing I would fault in our experience.
Weird service/ambiance
We had 7:15 reservations. Service, food and ambience was wonderful until about 8:45, when the dining room lights were turned up, someone started vaccuuming upstairs and people started scrubbing down the tables and chairs around us. (Restaurant hours list it as open until 10). We hadn’t finished our main course yet and there were several other tables still seated. We felt rushed out. Certainly not what I expected for spending almost $300!
Disappointing
Another Nashville restaurant that seems to think they are doing you a favor by admitting you. Narrow menu that forces you into non optimal selections. All four of our dishes were average but not without making their ingredient mix complex. No interest in returning.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!

Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Let’s go. Get more people placing bids!
I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
