This was our second time to the House of cards. We had such a great fun experience the first time we wanted to bring some friends back with us. Everything was top-notch from start to finish. Great entertaining magicians, and the food and drinks were wonderful. Nashville has a lot of great restaurants but this one is unique. Highly recommended if you visit this great city!

We had steaks and a pork chop meal at our table and all dishes were perfection!! Espresso martinis were tasty and strong!! Now the magicians and shows -- Supremely Impressive!!!! We just were in awwwwwwww with every trick..lol Totally loved this experience and so glad we found this for our Nashville visit! No cellphone pics allowed inside and a very strict dress code so everyone looks great!

We had SUCH A GOOD TIME! Absolutely incredible experience, our server was Brandon and he didn't lead us astray! The environment was beautiful with classic museum like displays of magician memorabilia dating back hundreds of years. The food was absolutely amazing, our favorite starter was the beef tartare, we followed up with the elk rack and a filet. The creme brule was an amazing finisher. This was Easter night, and I've never seen such amazing magic/illusionist displays. We saw cards disappear right before our eyes. It was mind blowing. There is nothing you could ever tell me that could explain the magic we experienced. From gorgeous decor, to amazing food, to prominent entertainment included, this was a fantastic experience. Brandon was amazing, the food was amazing, the magicians' performances were amazing. There is no where on earth like House of Cards!!!!!!
My friend and I went for cocktails and dinner.
The whole vibe is pretty cool. The dress code is pretty strict so if you are not a normally dressed up person definitely make sure you are aware of that before going. No phones are allowed except in the back patio where there is a cool waterfall that I saw a lot of people using as a backdrop for pictures. We split a bottle of Rose. Our dinner consisted of shared appetizers since we don't eat full dinners and were the lobster mac and cheese, the beef tartare, and the scallops. That was a huge amount of food for the 2 of us and it was all absolutely amazing. We did not know about the show after dinner, so we didn't build in time to attend that afterwards, but we will definitely make time to do that next time.

This was the nicest dinner we had while in Nashville. The atmosphere was very upscale and the service matched it well. Dinner was tasty and the drinks were great. But the magic shows surrounding the area were by far the best I have ever seen. They let you sit right next to them and watch as closely as you want. It’s truly amazing what these magicians can do. Maybe a little expensive but for a dinner and a show, well worth it!!!

Filet cut like butter and was perfectly cooked. The bone in ribeye with black pepper was equally as good. Lobster Mac and cheese served the entire table with some leftover. The magic show to top it off lasted about 30 minutes and the guy (Hub) was spectacular. Kept the audience engaged in the small center and was entertaining. I would recommend HoC for a special event. It's not inexpensive, but it's worth every penny. The lemon cake was extraordinary! Service was top notch. Decor was moody and amazing.

Took my wife and son this evening.
The food was quite good - we got 3 different cuts of steak, cocktails and some sides. Our waiter was great and the ambiance was just what they were looking for. But the magic show was godawful and it ruined the whole thing. I wouldn't mind paying a premium for an excellent meal that came with top notch entertainment, or even solid entertainment. But the guy they had entertaining tonight was neither funny nor amazing and it tainted everything else great that led up to it. I know every magician can't be David Copperfield. I'm not expecting Houdini. But I'd expect something more than what it seems like someone could have learned with YouTube and a couple of weeks" practice. They've just got to have a minimum standard for the entertainment side.
This place did not live up to expectations for us.
We sat at our table for over 15 minutes before getting menus or being greeted by a server at all. We had read the menu before coming so we already had somewhat of a plan of what to get, but we were just awkwardly sitting there with no menu and no drinks while everyone around us had menus/drinks/food. When the server came around, he was good. He wasn't great and didn't really go into detail about anything and almost made it seem like we were a bother to him which I felt like was because of the 8pm reservation but with the amount of money people spend there, service should be near perfect. The menu is small and the cheapest thing is a vegan entree and it's almost $40. You have to get an entree in order to get tickets to the magic show. We went with the lamb shank and the filet mignon. Both over $50 and neither come with sides. You have to buy those separately. We got the asparagus and hollandaise and I ended up dipping my filet in the hollandaise because it was almost flavorless. My boyfriend liked the lamb shank. The magic show was at the end and we heard the group next to us talking about a 10:45 show (we were told we were going to the 10:00 show, but since our server took so long to get to us, we weren't really even eating until 9:30) so we wanted to go to that one since there's two small shows you can go to beforehand/after. Our server just said "you guys are set up for the 10 o clock show" and gave no other option so we just got the rest of our meals boxed up. The show was good, the magician was great, it was just only 15 minutes. We are glad we went, just to say we did. We spent $450 though. It was nice to have a reason to dress up! Just not worth what we paid.

Food is pricey but you are actually paying for the entertainment, and the table side magicians are amazing! It's nice to be able to dress up and go someplace where people aren't in T-shirts and shorts (there is a strict dress code).
Don’t order the steak
Went with very high expectations. Location and atmosphere was incredible. Very knowledgeable staff and were very friendly. Here’s where we went wrong. Our server talked me into their own waygu steak. A mix of Japanese and Australian cattle. Absolutely terrible piece of meat. Was not asked once how the steak was and server avoided our table until everything was cleared. At that point I attempted to not allow this to ruin the evening. After much thought the price tag finally got me to write this review. The steak was $100 and wasn’t even worth $30. I’ve had sirloin steaks more tender.

Not very flexible with what you order and very limited vegetarian options which makes it difficult to stick to the one entree per person rule in order to see the show when your vegetarian. Also, when the last magic show ends, everyone is expected to go home after. It would've been nice to see some of the smaller magic shows we missed during our dinner after the main show. Overall, fun experience but very pricey.

They enjoyed requesting music from the invisible pianist, all the tricks from the magicians. And the amazing show at the theater. We travelled from Florida and this was one of our best restaurant experiences.

Loved the experience and the food was amazing. It is pricey and I expected a little bit more of magic than what I got, to be honest. It's a great place for a date and or dressing up with friends.

Entertainment was great. Only thing negative is the other customers weren't very social upon being next to eachother at magic shows. Yet we're pleased to speak to any other Caucasians. Very "reserved" and gave looks at myself or my partner. As we aren't (Caucasian) so we're beneath them due to being Hispanic.

Wow! What a great experience! Who knew this place was here?! Their website clearly states the dress code- and it is strictly adhered to. Besides, it's fun to get dressed up so fancy! The food was amazing and not overly priced. The drinks were strong and well balanced. Can we talk about the service? Perfect! My water was never empty and just as I thought I might need something, our server would appear and take care of everything! The cost of the dinner covered the theater ticket, which was awesome. All in all, an unforgettable date night for sure. 10/10 I would recommend and go back!

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
