Honey Salt Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
Was looking forward to eating here but disappointed.
Ordered the Cobb salad with chicken add on. Salad alone was $17 and chicken add on $9!! Talk about inflation. And the portion was not generous at all. So won't be back cause with ice tea and tax and tip came to $35 for puny salad. They can do better than that for their customers!!

Came here for an event and glad that the food was actually pretty decent. The room we had was rather spacious. It was very lively in the main dining room. They also have very nicely decorated outdoor seating available. I had their Elizabeth Caesar Salad which was nice and fresh. The kale and romaine lettuce mixed with the black garlic dressing made it very refreshing. The New York Steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare as requested. My only complaint was that the asparagus was very fibery. Dessert was served family style: Brookie (chocolate chip cookie meets chocolate fudge brownie) and Butterscotch Bread Pudding. The warm Brookie was heavenly! Probably just came out of the oven. Didn't have room to try the bread pudding.
A very trendy place, has a great ambiance, great service
A very trendy place, has a great ambiance, great service and the food was delicious. Drinks were nice. Waited only 20 minutes to get in,and food came fast.
The food was very delicious.
The portions of the meals were a good size as well. Pricing for two people was reasonable so don't expect anything too crazy. The service was fantastic, the server and busser always were a step away whenever we needed them, even when the restaurant began to fill up with more people. I loved the atmosphere inside it had a very well decorated interior and a well stocked bar. i loved how huge the dining area in both inside and on the outdoor patio were. I took my bestie here for a fun birthday brunch outing and we enjoyed our time very much. Also there is no strict dress code everyone i noticed wore pretty much casual dress and even shorts and a tank top were fine as well. Not gonna lie, i took a star off because the paltry amount of tuna in the pokè bowl was a bit disappointing but i guess since it was an appetizer it's fine lol 4.5 / 5
I have been here a few times and am never disappointed.
The food my friend and I had was excellent and yummy. Service was prompt attentive and courteous. I will definitely come back with more friends.
Thanks to my dear friend Renee, I landed here this evening
Thanks to my dear friend Renee, I landed here this evening to meet up with the beautiful Heidi H., a yelp friend located in the Vegas area. It's very spacious inside with high ceilings and plenty of tables. They also have a bar area and another room just past the bar for private parties. I loved the decor. Very homey and welcoming. Steve was our server for the evening. He was very attentive and the rest of the staff kept our water glasses full. We shared: Grandma's Turkey meatballs 5/5! Very tasty and moist. The Savory monkey bread with ricotta and pomodoro dipping sauces. 5/5 a must!!! Also ordered a small mixed green salad. Everything was delicious and very filling. *Plenty of parking in the lot *Kid friendly *Moderately priced *Great background music
Never going back.
Went for Father's Day and couldn't have been more disappointed. Ordered after a waitress told us, 'she guessed she'd take our table.' Received 1 drink, but not the simple Diet Coke. Frustrating, but not huge. However, when another couple decided to leave after not being helped and a waiter took their water from their now empty table and gave it to us to drink...yuck. Manager watched us walk out after we paid our bill. No apology. Terrible service.
Wow wow wow!!! Great time, great food, great cocktails,

Delicious food.
Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant is cozy and clean. Everything you can ask for in a restaurant.

This is a long time coming, I loved everything about our visit here. My daughter picked Honey Salt for her wedding day dinner and I could not have been more impressed. The service was exceptional! The head waiter, or waiter in charge of our party, was increcibly attentive. The other servers were also very courteous and attentive. They made us feel like we were the only diners in the restaurant, even though it was full. The food was hot and absolutely delicious! With large groups it's easy to just accept cold food, missing items, or confusion, this was not the case. The food was fantastic. We brought our own cake, one of the hosts, immediately contacted the manager so that the cake would be refrigerated. When it came time to serve, they placed the strawberry topping, brought the cake out for the party to see it, then they cut and served it. I absolutely recommend going to Honey Salt. I don't often go to Las Vegas, but I'm not kidding when I say I want to return, just to visit Honey Salt again.
Popped in for a bite and drink for a solo lunch.
I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by a very sweet bartender. She was friendly and was happy to provide recommendations. The dame was perfectly balanced between being too sweet vs tart. The froth was my favorite bit! I also ordered a margherita pizza. The crust was clearly homemade and ingredients were all extremely fresh. I will definitely be coming back!

Sunday brunch on 5/19/24: bottomless blood orange mimosas + thick steak cut bacon (basically, the best pork belly ever) + two eggs fried over-easy That was my cousin's order and what I will be ordering the next time I come here for brunch! :)

Yelp Review 2024 #66: It's been 10 years since my last review of Honey Salt. The brainchild of husband and wife duo of Chef Kim Canteenwalla (an appropriate and cool name) and Elizabeth Blau. Canteenwalla having had years of experience in different restaurants in the world combined with years of experience in restaurant operations and innovations make them a Dream Team in the culinary world that Vegas is lucky to have. Over the years, they have expanded their space and the menu has evolved of course. Some items are seasonal, brunch only, lunch/ dinner. Banana Foster French Toast: The aesthetic of this dish has changed. A small loaf of bread with cornflake crust, brulée bananas, rum caramel whipped cream topped with candied pecans. 5/5 BRUNCH: Monkey Bread: A pull-apart bread made with brioche, bourbon caramel sauce. Dessert for breakfast anyone? You're going to want to soak up the caramel sauce with the brioche bread. 4.5/5 Fried Chicken Benedict: Biloxi fried chicken, poached eggs, spinach, Hollandaise on English muffin. Crunchy fried chicken strips, soft and creamy eggs and Hollandaise. 4/5 Eggwhite Frittata: In case you want a healthier option but with more substance, here's a dish for you. Egg whites with spinach, roasted tomato, fromage blanc topped with market greens. 4/5 Cherry Jubilee Dutch Pancake: Now replaced by Strawberry Dutch Pancake. Breakfast Poutine: Now replaced by Poutine Dutch Pancake. LUNCH/ DINNER: Calamari & Shrimp: Fried squid pieces, shrimp, shishito peppers, lemon served with sriracha aioli. 3.5/5 Lobster Roll: Nice pieces of lobster with fennel, celery, tarragon, lemon aioli served with salted potato chips. 4/5 Steak Frites: 6oz New York strip with French fries. 3/5 Lobster Pot Pie: Seasonal menu item and they only have them in limited quantities per day. You also need to order this as soon as you sit down because it takes at least 20 minutes to prepare. The crust is crisp and able to hold overall a hearty thickened lobster bisque. 4.5/5 AVAILABLE ALL DAY: Biloxi Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich: Fried chicken with creamy slaw, house dressing, caesar salad served with French fries. 4/5 Brookie: A popular dessert for kids. Chocolate chip cookie meets brownie with salted caramel chunk ice cream. For me, this is just ok. It's sweet on sweet on sweet which is a bit much. 2.5/5 Burger: Cheddar cheese, roasted onion aioli, tomato jam served with french fries. You can add on a fried egg/ bacon/ avocado for extra $. A pretty decent burger and thick-cut fries. 4/5 I felt the need to update my review due to the fantastic service of our busser/ runner during brunch today. He was a young man who was polite, efficient and maintained a positive attitude all throughout our dining experience. Our server was great too and the two of them were quite the team.
Came for late lunch & again food was stellar.
Brioche monkey bread, Bananas foster French toast & eggs Benedict. Our friends had lemon chicken salad & Quinoa bowl with perfectly cooked salmon. Food runners delivered all the meals together. But all our empty Monkey bread plates were still before us! We had to rearrange our table so meals could be delivered. Runners set down our meals then left empty handed, leaving empty plates. Service could be better, Just my pet peeve.
This is my second time here at Honey Salt.
First time was for brunch and this time was for a lunch birthday for a friend. Ordered the Bacon Grill Cheese and substituted the salad for fries. Sandwich was pretty good with just the right amount of everything. The busser we had to ask several times for a straw and to go box. I also wish they put ice in their water. I prefer cold water and not room temperature water.
From the minute you walk in you are well cared for.
Hostess is friendly and the staff is quickly at your table. Food is delicious comfort food. Want to return to try something else on menu.
We came here for brunch on a Saturday.
We were able to make a reservation on OpenTable when we were about an hour away. Even though we were early for a reservation, we were seated immediately. Once we were seated we did wait for about 10 minutes before anyone came to take our order. To be fair it was extremely busy. They did have the brunch menu which had different breakfast type dishes. I opted for the fried chicken eggs Benedict. It was a small portion but tasted good. My spouse had the chicken sandwich. It was also on the small side but he said it was OK. For our appetizer we had the monkey bread which is pretty good, but kind of hard in some spots. The restaurant does offer a bottomless mimosa and bloody Mary option for brunch. The decor is farmhouse chic, and they do have outdoor seating as well

Excellent choice for Mother's Day brunch with my mom! She had the bottomless blood orange mimosa and I had the bottomless Bloody Mary for $25 each. We shared some delicious monkey bread to start. And then I ordered the chicken sandwich and she had the avocado crab salad off the special Mother's Day brunch menu. We dined outside because it was beautiful weather. We had a reservation which I don't know if it's needed but I would encourage you to do it just in case. They were busy. It's a cute restaurant! Service is excellent. And don't forget to grab a piece of saltwater taffy in the way out.
Perfectly ordinary restaurant with good service.
We went for a graduation dinner so there were fourteen guests. Appetizers included a fig & burrata dish with heirloom tomatoes, shrimp cooked garlic herb butter with szechuan peppers, lemon and brioche, some very chewy Iberico pork ribs and a crudite plate. All were fine except for the ribs. My wife had a salad that was so unremarkable she can't even remember the ingredients. Her entree was a a "Cast Iron Branzino" with the description below. The fish was cooked well, the sauce had good flavor but the tapenade was very wet, poured on top of the fish and just ruined the crispy skin. I went with a corn salad with cherry tomatoes, bacon lardons, egg, cotija cheese and a ranch dressing. Again, very unremarkable but at least I remembered it. My entree was the "Farmhouse Meatloaf" with the description below. I thought it was a solid dish with the exception of the broccolini. I happen to love this veg, but it was very obvious that is was barely blanched and certainly not cooked to even an "al dente" state. Cutting it with a regular table knife was just way to much work. Being gauche I picked up the stems, ate the florets and called it a night. I felt the service and timing on the part of the kitchen were just fine. So, go there with a large group with not much in the way of expectations and you will be fine. Four stars due to service and good basic quality on the food.
I've driven past Honey Salt well over a hundred times in
I've driven past Honey Salt well over a hundred times in the last four years and the day finally came to make a reservation and give this place a go. I came here with my wife and some family a few nights ago after literal years of being told I needed to get the fried chicken at this place. This massive restaurant looks like a restaurant you would find in Summerlin (it's kind of generic nice, but not in a bad way), has a ton of seating both inside and outside, and of course a massive menu full of everything from steak, fried chicken, and burgers to seafood, pizza, and salads. Now, I knew what I had to do when I sat down so I immediately settled on ordering the buttermilk fried chicken with macaroni and cheese on the side. For a group starter, we ordered the sticky iberico pork ribs and those were served first. The ribs had a really good flavour to them, even though the first one I ate had literally no meat on it. The second one was pretty juicy and did the job well. As for the buttermilk fried chicken, this might be a top five for me on best fried chicken I've ever had. The skin was crunchy in some parts, soft in others, while tasting absolutely delicious all around while the meat was super juicy and left me drooling as I ate, absolutely incredible fried chicken. The macaroni and cheese on the side was a pretty good size and had a pretty standard taste for macaroni and cheese, nothing to necessarily write home about but a really good side dish here. Overall, Honey Salt was worth the wait if you ask me. The staff took really good care of us when we were here whether it was filling drinks, clearing the table, or just being super attentive while the food was a home run all around and we all enjoyed every aspect of the meal. I will definitely be thinking about returning here in the future and probably sticking with the fried chicken yet again.
