Incredible diner! We had the Grenache menu and were surprised by the extraordinary flavors and beauty of every course. They were pieces of art really. Usually some course are total hits but, some are fine. Not here: all of the courses were hits! And the paired wines beautiful. This chef deserves Michelin star(s)!
A fantastic experience
We celebrated our 25th anniversary with our grown-up kids at Grenache, where we enjoyed the "Experience Menu" with the suggested wine pairing. The food was delicate, all the courses looked delicious with beautiful colors, the variety of tastes was excellent, and the wines were perfectly paired with the food. All in all, it was a fantastic experience.

I ate alone at Grenache, facing the open kitchen, which allowed me to watch in amazement at the meticulous attention to detail that the team puts into every dish. Tasting menus only with a solid wine list. Don't waste money on French wines - the sommelier recommended two Portuguese wines which were outstanding. Very innovative flavors and textures to match the beautiful aesthetic presentations. Every bite was delicious- which is very hard to do when there are so many different things. A real joy!
A wonderful meal
This was an amazing night for a number of reasons - all good from the point of view of Grenache, not so good for other reasons. Let's get the bad out of the way first (or some of it) - we tried to get a taxi to take us to Grenache and two refused to take us, with spurious reasons - "do not know where it is" and "I don't have time" - our hotel came to the rescue by getting us one, the driver of which was very generously tipped as we were so pleased to get to Grenache. It is a little out of the way, but not unduly so. The restaurant were brilliant in understanding our late arrival. We were very warmly welcomed and opted for the Menu Grenache as we tend to struggle with too many courses. The food was absolutely wonderful and the wine pairing very good. We added cheese and port which was also very nice. Coffee came with some lovely petit fours. The restaurant is quite small but one that is creating and maintaining a good reputation, unlike some larger restaurants who seem to rest on their laurels and do not try to make the experience for the customer, but more about themselves. We were asked which course was our favourite - it was like asking which was our favourite child. The whole experience at Grenache was wonderful with lovely staff and gorgeous food and drink. Finally to cap off our taxi experiences that evening, the return back to the hotel included a diatribe on the urban criminals in the City, seemingly directed at restaurants and businesses of other nationalities and also the driver brake testing the car behind who had annoyed him apparently. Perhaps we were just unlucky on our taxi choices that evening, thank goodness the restaurant experience was so wonderful that it is this that is the abiding memory of our evening.

What a fabulous restaurant , every plate of food that came to us was perfect in quality ,taste, balance and presentation, not one dish was below 100%. The wine pairing was outstanding, high quality rare wines that were paired perfectly with every dish and fully described Service from every member of the team was perfect , both professional and friendly, this team Love the Food & Wine they are serving as well as their Customers You will not find a better one star Michelin restaurant anywhere in the world & many Two Star are nowhere near Grenache We will be back Thanks to all the team
Michelin star dining in Lisbon
We had dinner at grenanche last night and it was superb. The service was impeccable. The food was almost too pretty to eat, but tasted as good as it looked. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic evening out the kitchen was fun to watch.
A truly wonderful experience
We had the 8 course tasting menu with wine pairing last night at this truly incredible restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and not at all pretentious as in some Michelin starred restaurants. The staff were wonderful and couldn’t have been more attentive explaining each course and accompanying wine. The attention to detail on every course looked like a work of art, and the taste was amazing. We have been lucky enough to eat in some very nice restaurants around the world and Grenache is honestly one of the best. Thank you for a superb evening and we would definitely come back next time we were in Lisbon.

I would definitely recommend stopping in to this 2024 Michelin star restaurant. I feel like the reviews thus far are very different from the experience I had while I was there. The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. Their martini was worth the price and the prefixe menu was definitely enjoyable. Foie gras and beets are not my favorite foods but otherwise, everything was spectacular!
Excellence from A to Z
Located near the Château St Georges, the GRENACHE restaurant has created a chic, sober, neat setting, with a terrace and kitchen opening onto the very intimate room. We chose the Experience menu, and were captivated by the finesse of the dishes, the seamless land-sea alliance, the balance of flavors, and a presentation of the dishes that delight the eye. The welcome and the service are impeccable, the young man speaking French is attentive and gives very good advice on wines. Each dish is a taste discovery, a real gastronomic journey. In short, French refinement. Congratulations to the young French chef and his team, a chef who fully deserves a Michelin macaron. NB: Dinner for my birthday, but the staff was only informed of it during dessert time.
AMAZING.
We found this restaurant based on a local the same day. We happened to be in the area right when it opened. We asked if we would be able to get a table for 2 and we were lucky that we could. What followed afterwards was an experience of a lifetime. We did the tasting menu and it was a high art we were seeing and eating. Every course was amazing. Since I do not eat meat, they made special accommodations for me. The service was impeccable, what you would expect in a fine dining restaurant and more. The port cocktail I had was out of this world. A real hats off to the chef and the crew. They have the three pillars nailed down: food, service and ambience. If you are in Lisbon, tired of eating Portuguese food for few days in a row and want an experience, go to Grenache. You will not be disappointed. We will be back.

Recommended by the Michelin Guide. Another inconsistency of the guide, because, like some others, and more than others that have it, it deserves a star. Creative cuisine with perfect technique. Two menus, one with five and another with seven courses, which is the one we chose. Three snacks; a delicious beef and oyster tartar; foie gras with smoked eel and surprising beetroot; lily with cucumber and very delicate caviar; some tasty crayfish ravioli; turbot with asparagus, just cooked and full of flavor, and a wagyu loin with spinach and anchovy gnocchi, an impossible combination, but one that works very well. The desserts, cheesecake with coconut sorbet and peanut brownie with chocolate and miso ice cream, are also made by Chef @philippegelfi, very young, but already with enough maturity. The room with Sergi and Ivana was also very good, professional and very friendly.
Excellent restaurant
Like Sala de Joao Sa, an unimpressive exterior, and a quite spartan, clinical ,white walled two room interior. Service was flawless, and the female wine sommelier knowledgeable, and interesting. Tasting menu was very good, and the wine pairing not only good , but had more pairings than Sala. We had a terrific evening here, and recommend Grenache. But , again, 400 euros for 2 , is a strong number….

And tip well. I wish I were educated enough to describe how delicious the food is at this restaurant. I wish I deserved even a small fraction of the service and attention I received from the wait staff here. This place is beyond magical. These people are dedicated to making and serving food and drink fit for the gods, and they are humble enough to welcome rando tourists like me into their restaurant to have one of the best meals I will ever consume in my lifetime. thank you. Such a lovely tasting menu. Each course was delightful. Presentation was beautiful, the dishes were exquisite, service unmatched and all in all lovely evening!

Visited this nice and cozy restaurant in March 2024 Warm welcome and high service throughout the dinner. Well-composed menu with an excellent wine package to go with it. Very satisfied and can warmly recommend this restaurant

We discovered this restaurant thanks to the invitation of our children. The dishes are inventive, well presented, finely decorated and tasty. The quantities are more than sufficient. The service is very well done and the staff are smiling and professional. Tables inside the terrace. Good value for money. A magnificent evening.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
