Holy crap
Holy crap Wow everything was great. The hostess, the waitress (Jessica) all were fabulous. The food was fantastic. Had Creole Oysters (yum) and the trio (gumbo, jambalaya, red beans and rice) for starters. Had the creole pasta and salmon. All were good. I am not a fan of salmon and thought it was good. Actually will be back next week and plan to come by again Canโt say enough good things about the place
Be the first to ReplyOMG! The best oysters
I ordered the Gallierโs Special, which is a sampler of all the oyster types - raw, charbroiled, Rockefeller and creole. The raw came first. I thought they were the largest and best oysters Iโve ever eatenโฆuntil the rest came. They were unbelievable. My husband ordered the taste of New Orleans, which had red beans and rice, gumbo and jambalaya. So good!!! CJ is the best. Sit at the bar!

Exploring NOLA for the first time, week before Mardi Gras. Food was delish, service was excellent and the cocktails were made with loveโฆ.

Our server Boris was absolutely excellent- knowledgeable, very personable, made great suggestions for our meals and drinks, and all with a friendly attitude and genuine smile. Big delicious portions. I had the red snapper, my husband had Cajun penne pasta, both really good. Happy night!

My husband and I ordered crab cake for an appetizer. We ordered the seafood penne pasta and the taste of New Orleans for our meals. Everything was absolutely amazing.

This spot is a rip off they donโt tell you itโs a 18% tip charge until your bill ! The waiter checked on us one time also notice only the blacks wasnโt checked on by waiters I had fish n it was cook so soft it breaks up in my tarter sauce besides racist service bad food and forced tip I enjoyed the over priced oysters but I wouldnโt ever go back. We come every year but this was the worst experience!
Be the first to ReplyGreat lunch in NOLA
We had a late lunch here after a hard day of travel. We shared an oyster po boy and a soft shell crab po boy. Both were great. The softshell crab po boy was extraordinary with two large perfectly fried crabs.
Be the first to ReplySmall but mighty fine!!!
Outstanding meal & service. We had very fresh oysters on the half shell & charbroiled oysters. Will definitely go back!!!

Here for my last dozen oyster splurge before my friend and I head out of New Orleans. It was about 3:00 p.m. on a Thursday, we walked in, the place was empty. Atmosphere was OK, it felt very dated, bar area filled with stuff, menu were a bit dirty. We sat at the bar and ordered Margaritas, a dozen Raw Oysters and Fried Calamari. Vukic, the bar tender was a very nice young man. We struck up a wonderful conversation about Montenegro where he was from as we have dear friend from there also. It was a very relaxing end to our sight seeing day. Oh LOL the oysters were delicious along with the Calamari and cocktails.

A wonderful culinary experience in the heart of New Orleans! Great food in the midst of a bustling city. We loved the gumbo and the best jambalaya on our trip. A must visit!

From the maitre'd who was incredible to our server Kenneth, I would highly recommend eating here! The oysters Rockefeller were outstanding with bits of shrimp hidden in the sauce. The crawfish fries were out of this world. Kenneth was an incredible server, ask for him if you go. Will definitely go back!

I went with my family of 4 on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated immediately. I ordered oysters, a shrimp poโ boy and fries. My husband ordered gumbo and a pasta dish. My daughter ordered the seafood platter and my son ordered gumbo. The food was good, but didnโt blow me away. When the waiter brought the oysters to the table, he dropped one of the pieces of bread on the table and picked it up with his hand and tried to put it back on the plate. It wasnโt memorable and I wouldnโt go back again.

We couldn't enjoy anything because we had so many flies buzzing around our food. We sat at a table that had plastic roller blinds covering the wall/hidden door. These blinds were covered with flies. We didn't see where they were coming from at first but towards the end of our meal I put my glasses on and I could see the hordes of flies on the blinds. We told our waiter and he apologized and said they were coming from next door. Then we tried to tell the person that sat us at the front of the restaurant but he was to busy playing word puzzle games on his phone. As we left, we mentioned that they probably shouldn't seat anyone in that section because of the flies and he said "thanks" and continued playing his puzzle game.

We found this great little little eatery just by walking around and we are so glad we did. Since there was a long wait for a table, we decided to take a seat at the bar and that was the best decision because CJ the bartender is amazing it is because of him that we came back. He wears many hats. He is basically an octopus juggling everything Very personable very helpful with suggestions and Ideas what to do where to go during Mardi Gras and he made the best drinks and always looking to accommodate you and make sure you are OK at the bar. And oh yeah, the food was awesome too lol . We went three times throughout our seven day stay in NOLA and every time we went back the food was fantastic. When we went back, Rohan, the manager in the front who seats everybody remembered our name now remember we were there during Mardi Gras he probably sees hundreds of people a day and he remembered our name after meeting us once that says a lot for the hospitality of this place. Even if you have to wait for a table itโs well worth it 100%. I recommend everyone stop here when in the french quarter especially if you want oysters. Everything on the menu that we tried was delicious huge portions, especially the salads. They are definitely shareable. And the food comes out super fast . Thank you Rohan and CJ for making our dining experience with you very memorable. You guys are great at your job.

This place was wonderful. Oysters four ways were to die for. The taste of New Orleans dish gave me the best of what New Orleans has to offer. Drinks were good, staff were great(thanks Jeremy), and the dessert was surprisingly wonderful. This is just off Canal Street, so close to the French Quarter. You won't be disappointed!

We visited this restaurant while touring in New Orleans with family. It was our favorite meal. The fresh fish was cooked to perfection and the prices are reasonable. The waiter was friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We were looking for a spot to get oysters before we left back to NYC and we found this place. Great service, cozy spot. The oysters are delicious!
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and service!
Our server, Kenneth, was very friendly and informative. I had the sweet chili glazed salmon and fresh veggies. Portions were great and it was flavorful. My friend got the seafood pasta and tried their oyster sampler for the first time. Oysters arenโt my thing but there was definitely enough seafood and other Cajun options to choose from if youโre a ride-along for the oyster fans like me.
Be the first to ReplyPop in and out
Came into the restaurant at around 1:30PM on a Friday and it was a very relaxed and chill setting. My girlfriend ordered the Raw Oysters and loved them and I got the Creole oysters. They were equally as great. I recommend to pop in and take it for face value that itโs a more of a pop in and out bar restaurant. Great service as well

This is the kind of place with pictures of food on an outside sandwich board, and sauces served in little plastic cups; can be very loud and full of families with small children. Very average red beans & rice, fried alligator, and crabcakes. Good service, very nice staff.
