Steakhouse
Absolutely delightful and delicious experience. We went there without any expectations and were presently surprised by an outstanding selection and quality of food. Everything from the appetizers, to stakes, to dessert were perfectly prepared, served, and were of highest quality. The service was great and friendly. The server knew the menu, was easy to talk to and spent time to answer questions, without rushing. Overall, great experience and highly recommend to people visiting South Lake Tahoe and looking for a great steak
Be the first to ReplyWay over priced for what you get
We have been here before.. before the pandemic. And wow, so much has changed. The service was still good but not great. The prices are astonishing high. I had the filet and king crab legs. Which was only one leg. It was $140 for the plate. Way to expensive. I didn't want to order it, but my fiance insisted because he knows how much I enjoy King crab. However, it was lacking flavor. No sweetness at all. I had to drown it in butter. And I was shocked that it was so expensive and it didn't come with any sides.... not even cheap broccoli or green beans. Sides were extra. I was not impressed and will not come again... defantily not for those prices.
Be the first to ReplyGood for an event, anniversary, etc.
We enjoyed the ambiance, the service and the views for sure. My husband loved the salmon with scallops. I loved the blackened shrimp but was so/so on the petite filet with it (cooked perfectly for medium rare but unfortunately it had no real flavor - so either order a sauce or add a lot of pepper and salt to it when it arrives). Definitely an expensive dinner so be prepared for that (e.g. my petite fillet with blackened shrimp was $82 with NO sides).
Be the first to ReplyFriday's Station Steak & Seafood Grill: A Top-Tier Dining Experience with Breathtaking Views
Friday's Station Steak & Seafood Grill isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience. Perched on the top floor of Harrah's Lake Tahoe, this casual-meets-fine-dining eatery boasts stunning lake views that are as much a part of the meal as the food itself.
Be the first to ReplyI will Make Room When I am In Tahoe
We had to run here after the Alex Ramon Magic show at Harvey’s and they were so kind. The timing was very close and they actually text us early to let us know they were ready. The restaurant is mean to go during daytime hours if you have not been there I am guessing since the walls are windows. We were not able to see any of the views but the rest of the experience made up for it. But I highly recommend it.
Be the first to ReplyUnderwhelmed
We were extremely underwhelmed. The waiter forgot my drink so when the food came out I asked him to take it off our bill. My son ordered a medium-rare filet and it came out medium-well so he sent it back and it came out well done. We ended up letting them take the filet back and didn’t reorder. There were flies flying around our food and our window view was obstructed due to having the shades down for more than 1/2 our meal. I will not be back.
Be the first to ReplyI would avoid if I were you
I’m baffled by the 5 star reviews for this restaurant. My steak was incredibly over cooked, was sent back, and the second returned raw. I’m giving the restaurant 2 stars give the server was attentive, acknowledged the issue and removed my steak from the bill. If you decide to take a chance, do yourself a favor, don’t look up at the ceiling when you arrive on the elevator. The drywall is rotting and full of black mold. Our party noticed the issue on the way out
Be the first to Replygreat meal and awesome views
we had not been to tahoe for 25 years. the steak house at Harrahs is still top notch. we had great service and the meal sizes were big enough to share. the prime rib was excellent and the filet said 8 oz but sure looked bigger. as i said we could have spit one of these meals. the french onion soup is awesome, the capresse(sp?) salad was excellent. the dessert was baked Tahoe and it was a solid 10. The staff is willing to recommend items. we will go back again for sure
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Restaurant
Excellent Restaurant in SLT. Gave us a corner table overlooking the lake. Wife had a Filet with Blackened Shrimp, which she loved. I had the Prime NY Steak. Excellent flavor, tender, and cooked well medium rare. Wine list way to pricy though. Anthony was our server and provided very good service. Will definitely return. Be prepared for a great meal in a high line restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyA gem in a South Lake Tahoe area
There're very few good restaurants in South Lake Tahoe with well prepared food, good wine list, very nice ambiance, courteous and professional staff AND you don't have to make a reservation at least a week in advance. This is one of them. Located on the 18th floor of Harrah's casino, with stunning views of the lake. The food was superb. Definitely will be back.

This place is outstanding. We had the crabcake appetizer and also the snails. Both were yummy. We had the prime rib and it was cooked to perfection. Outstanding service and views. Don’t miss this place if you’re in Southlake Tahoe

Food was excellent, service was less than desirable. The back waiters were very attentative but our main server ignored us the entire time.
Be the first to ReplyAnniversary Dinner: The Perfect Dining Experience
From beginning to end: Excellence. Alex ensured a very special table we requested for our 28th Anniversary. Returning to Friday's post-Covid there were some new faces from previous years, but the outstanding quality of the service, menu, food preparation and presentation, all remained outstanding. The Veal Oso Buco was phenomenal. Of particular note was our server, Santos. You could not ask for a more attentive, professional, and enjoyable waiter. Every detail, every nuance attended to on our special night. His backup, Mauro(sp) was equally as excellent. Thank you Alex, Santo, Mauro, our Chef, and the entire team for making this the perfect dining experience. Marty & Ann Herder
Be the first to ReplyFood was excellent as usual but they've relaxed their standards for diners
I've eaten here several times over the years and the food and service has always been top-notch. Plus the views of the lake are spectacular, especially at sunset. Unfortunately, I feel that Friday's Station has really relaxed their dress code and overall standards of behavior for the clientele. When we dined this time (6/16/22), there was a large party of loud, drunken guys on the upper part of the dining room. We were sitting below and we had trouble even having a conversation without shouting at each other because it was so loud. (My sister said she thought there was a Hooter's convention in the hotel). Parties like this should be put in a separate ballroom, not in the main dining room and RUINING the dinner experience for others. I paid good money to eat here too without having to endure a frat house experience. Also they used to have a dress code for this place but not anymore. People were coming in in flip-flops, t-shirts, and backwards ball caps. In years past, you had to at least be dressed in business casual. I get that with the pandemic, they probably haven't had as much business but a quiet, relaxing dinner at sunset was part of the appeal of this place. Like I said above, the service was excellent and out server was very apologetic about the noisy drunken people. I would be reluctant to eat here again if management continues to allow stuff like this to go on. There are plenty of other restaurants in the Tahoe area with good views.
Be the first to ReplyPrefix Charges Rip Off
The food and view was outstanding however we were extremely disappointed when we noticed (after we left) 2 charges of $15.00 titled "Prefix" for an extra $30.00 added to our bill. We both order a Caesar salad and steak dinner and margarita. My husband order the $90.00 special that included desert. This is either a way to swindle customers by adding fake charges or increase the bill for the food so the server gets more of a tip than he deserved. Once we noticed we felt like we had been robbed. The meal was very expensive to begin with and it was not necessary to jack up the price further.
Be the first to ReplyBirthday dinner
My husband’s dish surf and turf was awesome. My Chilean sea bass was very fishy. A disappointment. Service was incredible. Dessert was fabulous, like a baked Alaska. It was my birthday so a nice add on dessert,
Be the first to ReplyRomantic experience!
A lovely dinner for my husband and I. Generous portions and a knowledgable staff. The cocktails were to die for! I would come back just for the martinis! The whole experience was sincerely breath taking. Absolutely recommend trying even if just for some appetizers and drinks!
Be the first to ReplyNot impressed
Wasn’t impressed…mostly with the service, but food was also very average. For the prices, everything should have been better.
Be the first to ReplyFridays Station Steak and Seafood
Had a delicious dinner for belated birthday. The seafood broil was enough for two people 😋. The crableg was enormous with sweet and tender meat inside. Husband had the filet and mentioned it was the best he ever had, cooked to perfection. Service was impeccable and friendly not stuffy at all. The French onion soup was also very tasty. Will return next time in town.
