Lovely dinner in Miami
Beautiful ambience, incredibly attentive professional service. The food was amazing: for appetizer we shared the table side truffle cacio e Pepe, then I had branzino and husband had filet mignon. For sides we shared asparagus and roasted potatoes. Both mains perfectly cooked. Dessert: pistacchio gelato was amazing, I just wish they would offer a smaller size for 2 people. Will definitely be back.

The absolute worst experience of my entire trip . Be ware they add a service charge to your check for the hostess , the flowers on the table and the bread . 🍞 I found saltie at very mediocre at best. I asked the waitress what the service charge of $29 was on the check and that was her arrogant answer. The bar made was no different. These people lack personality. The predecessors of that restaurant were wonderful and that’s why I went. It’s rare that I ever make a review good or bad for a restaurant, but this still to this day has left such a bad taste. They should take back the Michelin star because they don’t deserve it, their food needs a lot of improvement. I really suggest that you’d be very careful.

I was served a piece of blubber as a Veal Chop Porcini. And they took 45 months n to replace it with a filet. At that point everyone had finished dinner. I don’t eat alone.

Terrible from the unwelcoming hostess to the terrible food. Dirty, tasteless food. I’ve been 3 times and this was the worst ever.

we were absolutely appalled by the hostess and lackluster manager would not bring up an extra seat for our elderly guest we had with our family. Here we are about to spend a few thousand dollars on pasta and wine and we got treated like we were not worthy to eat. We walked over to Carbone and they made a table for us even though they were booked and took amazing care of us. The girl who works the front was rude and obnoxious and acted as if she was running the velvet rope to a night club. We will NEVER go back after we were denied our table that we had a reservation for at 530 non the less. They should be embarrassed how they treated a family especially an elderly patron Shame on them

This is a small friendly restaurant where the staff and the receptionists are very welcoming and friendly The pricing is very reasonable At weekends it can be very busy but they can still coop You must try their ice cream and Tiramusu desert

Again, like being in Italy! Maybe better. That is all there is to say, really. My only (not so serious) complaints about the beautiful restaurant are the staff might have been cast by professional Hollywood agents (as they are all good looking), well spoken (with a touch of a charming foreign accent) and professional. It is a little like having dinner in a Feferico Fellini movie, al la, La Dolce Vita (circa 1960). The food is however not fake or silly but highly rated and delicious. To the shock of many this is not a red tomato pasta joint in the Bronx but an elegant, romantic, --Savoir Faire beautiful fine dining restaurant.

My husband and I ate dinner at Forte Dei Marmi last night. Massimo and Anna provided outstanding service and gave us the best recommendations the entire evening. We started the dinner with the burrata salad, followed by the black truffle linguine and then the dover sole for two, filleted at our table. We concluded the evening with after dinner drinks and the tableside tiramisu. Grazie to Massimo, Anna, the hostesses and the chefs at Fort Dei Marmi. It was absolutely perfect dinner experience!

Very romantic restaurant, amazing location and super professional team. The team was very knowledgable and kind, I have food allergies (gluten, eggs and dairy) and they catered without any issues or problems. We had a great time, love the athmosphere and the candle light dinner. It is a little expensive but all considering it is understandable, great quality of food.

This was by far the worst meal I have had in a very long time. Food, service, all of it was terrible. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like they could not wait until we left. The hostess curtly informed us that we had two hours as we were shown to our table, then they completely ignored us for fifteen minutes of those two hours. When the server did appear he was less than attentive. He did not offer any information about the menu, ask us any questions, or otherwise engage us in any way. The table itself was in a virtual wind tunnel. The candle which was encased in a hurricane glass , kept going out. We shuffled a bit to get out of the wind, to no avail. The first courses were fine. Nothing extraordinary, but fine. The second courses were good and horrible. The branzino filet was beautiful, perfectly cooked. The pasta with mushrooms was greasy , heavy and tasteless and contained no truffles, and the Bolognese tasted like something out of a can. We had to ask for cheese. The server came along at one point and asked the air “everything ok?” and then walked away before anyone could answer. We were served drinks (after glasses being empty for a while) , but one arrived that was not what was ordered. The server was annoyed and it took some time to get what had been asked for. And they charged us for the drink they took back, in addition to the correct one. The woman who served the second glass of wine looked at me like I had two heads when I asked for a fresh glass instead of pouring into my used one. Then someone proceeded to bus all the dishes , stacking them all noisily on his arm inches from my head. I tried to speak with the manager and he apologized saying that there were so many reservations. Then he offered me his card and asked me to come back. Why on earth would I go back? How does this place have a Michelin star? Every Michelin star restaurant I have ever eaten in before. has been miles better than this. Maybe for one star, not perfect; but a certain level of excellence. This was horrible. And for $650 one expects a bit more. We did not stay for dessert.

We had a reservation on December 24th at 9pm, the CHRISTAS NIGHT. For 2. As we knew that it was very cold outside (max 10 degrees), I asked the confirmation that there is place inside. Answer: no problem Sir, we have place for everybody inside if the weather is bad. When we arrived the only tables they could give us was ON THE TERRASSE WITH 10 DEGREES, BUT WITH RESERVATION INSIDE ! This is what we have. If you don't like we do not have another table, they told us... When you make your reservation, they tell you that there is a dress code. Fine, but when you arrive, they treat you without any respect. SO WE LEFT AND WENT TO ANOTHER RESTANRANT NEXT TO THEM. It was my first experience with them and EVEN IF I'M INVITED BY FRIENDS, I WILL NEVER GO THERE ANYMORE.

I’m Italian. Overall I liked it but but not perfect. I was with a friend. We shared oysters (which were amazing), carpaccio di battuta di scampi (which was also very good). But then in the main courses the first mistakes: my friend ordered gnocchi al gambero rosso but that was not done with gamberi rossi but with scampi. In any case they were good but the gnocchi were industrial and not freshly made. I had spaghetti alle vongole which again the taste was good, the balance between garlic, white wine, oil, claims and parshly was good, but the spaghetti were too much Al dente, almost raw and they broke in half the spaghetti for cooking them which is really a not Italian thing to do. Also there was supposed to be bottarga but you couldn’t notice and the claims were overcooked so they were gummy. We also shared a coulant de chocolate which was very good. Overall a good experience, the service was very good, and the place is lovely with the music and ambient but many points to improve for reaching 5 stars in my opinion considering what you pay for. Hope they will read and consider my suggestions cause they have great potential

I dined here with friends on June 28 with a party of 4. The air conditioner was not working and made our dine a little uncomfortable. This place is Italian with Mediterranean features all over the menu. The restaurant does offer pasta and steak options but to me its more of a seafood place and I feel that's what they really specialize in. Read the menu before you go. I had the Truffle Cacio e Pepe and it was very good. Others in our party all had fish apps and entrees and everyone said the food was very good. Not exactly my kind of place they are good at what they do.

We had a 5:30pm reservation for 4 adults and 1 baby on a Tuesday night. On the way to the restaurant the baby was throwing a fit in the car due to an ear ache. I realized the Forte dei Marmi has a $50 cancelation fee, so we cancelled. I was charged a $250 cancelation fee and Forte dei Marmi did not even bother to respond when I complained to them in a nice email. After all, what restaurant wants a sick screaming baby howling in their restaurant - even if it is an early hour like 5:30pm? What makes this most offensive is that I always liked this restaurant and in the past had always made reservations there. I am a good customer of theirs. Not anymore. Anyone who can't relate to a sick baby and cut some slack can kiss my rear end. A $50 cancelation fee would have been fine. $250? KMA.

Excellent Italian cuisine. We had spaghetti and clams that were delicious. Dessert was amazing, Pistachio gelato. They suggested a half portion and it was still huge.

We had a very nice meal here. The service was excellent. They fit us in despite not having resos and it being a busy Thursday night. We had the zucchini flowers stuffed with shrimp and ricotta and seafood pasta. Very nice. The pistachio gelato was huge and delicious. Nice authentic Italian food. Overall, a very nice spot on South Beach.

Ok so this place was pretty good my only critique is the wall art bc it is pretty cheesy. Speaking of cheesy, you can order a pasta here that comes in a cheese wheel. Fantastic! 🥳

Forte Dei Marmi was across the street for our hotel luckily. The restaurant is beautiful- great covered terrace areas and inside dinning with cool bar. They have a very nicely edited Italian wine list with good values and unique wines] -. best caccio e pepe pasta i ever had including Italy. also excellent fried zucchini flowers and terrific pistachio gelato desert they are famous for. The difference in the 2 nights we went were service- first night it was attentive and great {thank you 2 Christians!] 2nd night we waited 20 minutes for a 8:45 reservation- after being seated waited another 15 minutes for anyone to come over. It was absoloutl;y packed- but no excuse for such poor service- after ordering service dent improve? we are planning to go back to hopefully get same service we first received- when its good its great!

I called to cancel my reservation because my family tested positive for COVID and unfortunately they would not refund my $350 deposit. I am responsible and we will stay home but unfortunately, there are many people who are not.
