We came over for Valentine's Day and loved where we were seated. It was a beautifully secluded from the main dining area of the restaurant. The area was cozy and had a wall of different types of wine bottles with an entrance that seemed to be made out of white rock. Our food was delicious and the table side tiramisu was a must! I definitely recommend you check it out!
Be the first to ReplyVery disappointed that Chef Adrianne did not invest herself
Very disappointed that Chef Adrianne did not invest herself along her partners, wherein she had a great concept in this restaurant. Obviously, she has invested herself along with her name in too many projects. Which at the end will be a demise to her franchise. I frequented this restaurant as I've had with Red Fish & Cracked. This one often missed our ordered meals, even tough not a busy time. So, there must have been more to this than just an unpleasant partnership.

Was highly disappointed with this restaurant and it was a shame because my husband and I have loved all of chef Adrianne's restaurants so far but this one did not meet the standards at all. Took my husband for Father's Day dinner and we were completely disappointed. The waiters working there were not helpful or particularly kind at all. If anything it felt like we were an inconvenience for them. In addition, they basically ignored us and we had to be the ones getting there attention just to take our order. Our appetizer never came out that we ordered and everything else took forever. It is a shame because we don't think we will be going back to this restaurant unless there is a change in the staff working at the place.

The service & food was absolutely amazing! Our server Anthony C exceeded our expectations. The ambiance is great, I'll definitely be back.
Be the first to ReplyThe atmosphere and service where top notch.
The braised short rib with pappardelle was delicious the short rib melted in my mouth. The 7 layer lasagna was good and definitely a very generous piece.
Be the first to ReplyThe atmosphere was great.
I wish our waiter was friendlier, but I guess because it was a holiday and he didn't want to be there. The food itself was delicious as any restaurant by Chef Adrianne is always yummy. For starters, we had the Cheesy Truffle Garlic Bread, which is a must have. Definitely ordering it the next time I go there. Then I ate the Fire Roasted Potato Gnocchi Pomodoro and it had a couple pieces of actual gnocchi in the dish, it was mainly filled with cheese and sauce. They should add more of the gnocchi if they are charging that price. I don't mind paying as long as it's worth it.My girlfriend had the 24-Hour Braised Short Rib Pappardelle which was fantastic. In my opinion, skip the Gnocchi and go for this. The meat was tender and flavorful. We will definitely come back. Overall a good experience.

We went on Sunday for my son's birthday, it was our first visit and won't be our last. They made him a strawberry lemonade at the bar which are him feel special and grown. Alexa our waitress was wonderful super attentive with out being over bearing. My husband had the tomahawk steak, which he ate all by himself, he liked it and the char was perfect. I had pasta carbonara you can tell the pasta is made in house, it had the best chew and perfectly cooked. My son devoured his cheese ravioli and TWO baskets of bread. They saw he enjoyed it so much they offered him some with red sauce to take home. For dessert we had the Nutella bread pudding and well I could go just for that it was AMAZING. At the end Alexa took a family picture for us which was so nice because as a family of three we are either always missing a parent or its a selfie so that was very nice and thoughtful. All in all thank you forte for the wonderful meal, service, and memories. Until next time!
Be the first to ReplyI had to check out Forte knowing it was by Chef Adrienne.
It was a nice experience with great options and customer service. It wouldn't be my first choice in the area for Italian food, but it's a solid restaurant with a few exciting options you won't find elsewhere. 4/5 for the espresso martini. Very strong, yet very delicious which I appreciate. I can be picky with espresso martinis and this was one of the good ones.3/5 for the cheesy truffle garlic bread. I was hoping for a richer truffle flavor, but it was a decent appetizer if you're looking for a standard cheesy bread to start. It wasn't too special or different than most cheesy breads you've probably had. 5/5 for the Speck, Stracciatella and Hot Honey pizza. I get very bored of pizza so I love when they're prepared with a twist. This was a fantastic choice, with spicy, sweet, and savory elements in every bite without being overwhelming. I would come again just for this.3.5/5 for the bucatini. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce was nice and rich. I was hoping it would be slightly creamier, and I will say it's hard to justify the price point for such a small serving. 5/5 for customer service. 5/5 for atmosphere. I love dim lighting in an Italian restaurant, it just feels natural. I had a friend order the lamb shank which he enjoyed, although he said to steer clear of the oysters which had put him off and left unfinished. Overall, I would recommend you come here for the pizza, drinks, staff, and atmosphere. (3.5)
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Food.
Excellent Location. Very good service ! Prices are good too compared to other fine restaurants !
Be the first to ReplyFirst time going and I loved the cheese garlic bread.
That was probably my favorite thing to eat. I didn't like my entree which was 24hr short rib, to me it tasted like wine. They did took care of it and got me the starter meatballs with the spaghetti which was better but not for the overall price. I love the spicy martini cocktail !!! This is better for big parties, but I would be open to go back to try something different!

Forte is the best spot for a first date! The service and food were incredible, from the hostess to Luis and Mario at the bar, everything was sublime. We had the Spicy Mezcal Margarita, and the Key Lime Pie Martini, both of which were amazing. Props to Mario and Luis for suggesting them. The food was incredible as well, with the burrata and pepperoni pizza being the best I've ever had. Highly recommend.

Be the first to ReplyMy incredibly thoughtful boyfriend brought me here last
My incredibly thoughtful boyfriend brought me here last night to celebrate another milestone in my career - and it was a great choice! The location was perfect, the vibe was great and our first impression was that we were in for a really great dinner! We LOVE our sangria so we make it a point to order it at every restaurant that serves them. He had the Passion Fruit White Wine Sangria and I had the Pomegranate Red Wine Sangria and we were both extremely delighted with our choices! We shared the Mortadella Wagyu Meatballs as an appetizer and the 24-Hour Braised Short Rib Pappardelle (so we wouldn't get too full) - which were both absolutely delicious!!! The Assistant Manager, Oscar Delgado, took great care of us! I think we'll be back again.

Chef Adrianne never disappoints! I've been to a few of her restaurants already and this one is a must when you are aiming for a nice Italian dinner. I came here on a whim on a Monday evening after doing happy hour on the mile. There was plenty of seating both indoors and out, but not sure how it gets on the weekend.I was greeted by our waiter who introduced us to the evening specials and I decided to go with those options but the menu had plenty of delicious options to choose from. For drinks, I got a nice bottle of wine but it is important to note that they have a special on Tuesday's *free bottle of wine with an entree* Yes you heard right, a whole bottle to yourself but they do have a limit of 2 bottles for two people (I believe). Needless to say I'm coming back on Tuesday! For appetizer I had goat cheese stuffed peppers which were fried but altogether was just a creamy, crispy, and savory combination of goodness. For entree was a lemony pasta with pistachios - notes of nuts all over and a nice zest from the lemon made this dish perfect for the beginning of spring! I loved the dinner, the plates were enough for two people and lunch for the next day. Again like I said, I will be returning (on Tuesday)!

I have been here a few times and I just can't believe I haven't had time to review. I love this place and try to visit at least once a month!! I can tell you, I've had so many things on their menu and all have been a hit. Their lasagna was amazing. It's huge!!! Don't get scared by the price. At least 2 people can eat from the serving. Their pizzas are amazing. Most are infused with honey which is so freaking good!! My favorite is the pepperoni and cheese and the Spek- white pizza with ricotta and prosciutto!! Absolutely delicious!! Pretty decent Italian wine list and specialty drinks. I had a Prosecco and my daughter had a lavender infused martini. Can't wait ti go back soon. They have a happy hour menu as well. That will be my next visit!! With many Italian restaurants in the Gables, I truly enjoy coming here to try something new.

My expectations were high hearing about this restaurant all around social media and by word to mouth. environment wasn't bad however i would have enjoyed the food from Cheesecake Factory better then here. They only had one waiter serving all the tables. Just to get our check Took an hour. I felt like I was waiting for a turtle to finally run.
Be the first to ReplyCame here with high expectations since the original chef
Came here with high expectations since the original chef Adrienne's is amazing and was let down. It was a Tuesday night and it took the waiter 1 hour to ask us what we wanted to drink or order and once we finished eating it took more than one hour to receive our bill after we had asked for it. The waiter was really nice, but this restaurant needs more waiters. He was running around inside and outside serving all the tables, so it was not his fault. The food was average and was not what I expected it to be.
Be the first to ReplyDecided to stop by Forte for lunch with my niece yesterday
Decided to stop by Forte for lunch with my niece yesterday and had a lovely time. This is my first time sitting inside & was obsessed with the decor. The elegant color palette of browns, navy & white really elevated the whole experience. I'm still dreaming about those vintage-looking Italian leather benches... Anyways, on to the food! Our busser, Robert, was adorable & set the stage for a great meal. Diego, the waiter, was great too and I remember him from a nearby restaurant he previously worked at. The focaccia that was brought to the table & although it looked beautiful, the fact that it was toasted removed much of the lovely moisture that makes focaccia so deliciously pillowy & soft. It was crumbly & dry. Not a fan but the olive oil poured table side for dipping helped. Since my niece is a picky eater, I was a bit limited in what to order. We decided on the Antipasto (honeycomb, olives, almonds) with Parmesan & the Speck, Stracciatella, Ricotta & Hot Honey Pizza (NO SPECK)! Everything was very good & the service was even better! Very attentive & sweet. The GM, Richard, checked in a few times to make sure we were having a wonderful time & we were! Definitely plan to be back for brunch or dinner soon!
Be the first to ReplyCame here in November and the service wasn't the best.
Our appetizers came out before our first round of drinks. It was a Wednesday night and it seemed like the bartender was overwhelmed.Pappardelle was good but probably won't be coming to this location again.
Be the first to ReplyUnfortunately, I did not get what I expected.
Everything started out great, I was able to modify my reservation time last minute, and I was thankful. I went on a Tuesday, to celebrate my 30th birthday, and they offer free wine on Tuesdays! But honestly, anything after that was bad. The waitress was "nice" but easily distracted by her other tables, she'd be quick with us, and leave to her others. Mind you, the restaurant was fairly empty that night. The food took SOO long to arrive! Someone ordered a Denver steak, and it tasted like "wet mop". The waitress informed my mother that the branzino wouldn't have fish bones, and her first bite had MULTIPLE fish bones! None were removed. No one ordered bread, but when it was served, we thought it was complimentary, when the check arrived, we saw it was charged. We were the last table served in the whole restaurant (that's how empty it was), and when the waitress finally brought over our check, we were still glancing over it, when a busgirl asked us to "hurry up" in a passive aggressive manner. Yeah, a very disappointing experience.
Be the first to ReplyThis was my third visit to a Chef Adrienne owned restaurant.
I loved the pasta I chose as it was everything I love in a pasta - creamy and red/pink sauce. The cheese in the middle is a perfect topper. For the Nutella bread pudding, I thought it would of been warm despite of course two ice cream ball that sit on top. It was good but could definitely be warm. And while our server was sweet and attentive, there were a couple other ones assigned to the tables around mine that kept bringing dishes that I didn't order - about 5 times. Clearly they either didn't know table numbers or communication wasn't clear to them.

Celebrated my friends 30th birthday at Forte and I have to say it did not disappoint. If you're from miami or have heard about the top restaurants in miami then you know a chef Adrienne's spot is a must see! Forte is located in miracle mile which was a bit of drive for us but oh so worth it. Our server ALANIS was angel. Greeted us, was friendly, patient (we were a pretty indecisive group lol) and so kind. She approached us with a bottle of wine for the celebration which was the start to a great night! She recommend the 24hr short rib parpadelle and it was delicious! The dish is full of flavor and if you're a pasta fan or a foodie in general you will appreciate this dish! My husband had their pepperoni pizza and wow!!! You have not experienced good pepperoni pizza until you've had the one at forte. OSCAR was the second server who helped us and if hospitality had a name it would be Oscar! Oscar made us feel as if we were at a family dinning table. The ambiance and atmosphere were so great we stood until closing and not once felt rushed. Truly a phenomenal time and we can't wait to celebrate more events here! Special thank you to RICHARD the manager who stopped at our table constantly to check on us and see how night was going so far. Chef Adrienne truly out did herself with the staff and food offered at forte! Oh, and I can't forget to mention we had THE BEST espresso martinis we have ever tasted and we usually have one wherever we eat! If MARIO is working, ask for the espresso martini, you won't regret it!! Best in town!
Be the first to ReplyI am a big fan of the original Chef Adriennes restaurant in
I am a big fan of the original Chef Adriennes restaurant in Kendall. On Saturday we ventured to Coral Gables to try out Forte. The restaurant is gorgeous but was very empty at 2 pm. We blamed it on the fact that it's fairly new. The appetizers were divine: octopus carpaccio and zucchini flowers are unforgettable. Our drinks were on point as well. All was going well until we saw the brick oven and decided to try out the pizza...big disappointment. We all agreed we had been served microwave pizza. The dough actually had indentations, like the ones we find in school pizza. We sent it back and they didn't add it to our bill. The lasagna was very delicious and the tiramisu was good..they put it together right by your table. The service was good and attentive. But have a problem with the way the bathrooms are laid out. Men and women's bathrooms share a sink, and if you are not careful finding your way out you might end up in the mens bathroom like my friend and I did LOL.Also, electricity went out for a few seconds while I was in the bathroom and it was pitch black...no emergency light...it was tough to get out of there.I will say it was a very eventful afternoon. I will go back for the appetizers...not for their pizza
Be the first to ReplyThought we would give it a try and thoroughly disappointed.
Was there at 6pm and asked about any happy hour, was told only at the bar, which by the way was full with a private party so couldn't get in. Offered no options while at a table. Waiter was pressing very hard to upsell menu and repeated suggested the most expensive items as the best. Worse the food was mediocre, pasta overcooked to point of almost mushy, branzino was bland and needed seasoning, octopus cooked well but bland. Most offensive is a restaurant that is not open and honest about pricing. We had Negronis to drink and when asked, requested the house/well gin. Got bill and exorbitant price with extra 3$ added per drink to regular mixed drink price. Questioned and waiter said he didn't know what is was, 'comes up that way when I enter it'. I asked for a better explanation and he said maybe there is more alcohol, repeated comes up that way on the machine. Hidden costs, high prices with not great food. You can find many better places just walking up and down Miracle Mile. Will never go back. My 2 stars is generous.
