Beautiful food in a stunning venue! The staff were delightfully attentive which you would expect in a Michelin venue however they really went above and beyond with the gorgeous little birthday cake for my Dad's 70th as well as signed cook books and madeleines! We opted for the Eleven tasting menu with wine pairings and it was superb! Well worth the visit!
Superb Michelin Restaurant with unique menu and exceptional service
Prior to reserving a table I had read some poor reviews from six months ago and also some excellent reviews more recently. Just arriving at Elevenβs impressive building, all lit up, was impressive. Approaching the entrance door, the receptionist opened it, greeted us by name and took a straight to our table in one seamless move. From entering to being seated at a lovely table with a great view took 20 seconds. Having been enjoying Michelin restaurants for 45 years, I have a fairly good idea of what constitutes Michelin standards. There is absolutely no doubt that Elevenβs Michelin status is well deserved. Our entire dining experience was interesting, full of surprises, the presentation was exquisite and the evening was lovely. Added to this, the service was first class, could not have been bettered. We enjoyed the bread course, which was well explained as was every dish when served. The maitre dβ who took our order was particularly helpful with substitutions due to an allergy. A special thank you to the sommelier. Her advice was absolutely spot on. She had four different Montrachetβs and after some discussion, her recommendation produced one of most enjoyable Montrachetβs recommended for some years. That makes a welcome change. A well curated wine list and the menu choice was remarkable for a Michelin restaurant.

As a Michelin star restaurant one would expect impeccable service ! Not the case! Food was a hit no doubt about it, well balanced , textures complimented one another, and the seasoning was spot on! I see why it's a Michelin ! The device is lack of , service team was not proud of their establishment, they lacked education of the food and the flavors - maybe they never had it - so how could they speak about it? The service was a 4 in my standards, ambiance was 6 (plz do not allow under dressed to come in and wear whatever - if I came in w pajamas they would take me - which is disappointing and disrespectful to the patrons that pay high priced meals and support you; the cleanliness of bathroom 10; and the acoustics was 7 - I wasn't hearing much of white noise or other people's conversation but it did carry slightly. Location is superb!!!!
Expensive but worth it
What a great experience! We did the seasonal tasting menu with a bottle of wine. The service was incredible. Our glasses were never empty, the timing of courses was spot on, and the food was fantastic. We also received a complimentary cookbook signed by the chef with our meal. It is fairly expensive, but worth it for a fancy night out.

Chef Joachim Koerper continues to be in great shape, creating absolutely delicious dishes, from presentation to the most important thing, flavor. Every moment was of the highest level. The space, always elegant and welcoming, and the service complemented a memorable experience that deserves all our applause.

It was on my partner and I's bucket list to dine at a Michelin Star restaurant, so, while in Lisbon, why not? It's true the views are very nice and the restaurant itself has a nice ambience. We were greeted promptly by our names which was nice, and then seated. I'm not lying when I say for most of the night, we were one of three couples in the restaurant....which was super weird and uncomfortable; so service was very on-top. We ordered the Eleven meal which I believe was 10 courses. What really irked us was the bread we were served to begin the meal; the butter was so cold - completely un spreadable. Atleast have it be a little warm! The dishes got going and they were good. I have nothing else to really say about them, other than there was a lot of flavor all at once. The dishes kept coming and coming and (yes obviously we should've known) but it was just so excessive. There were 4 courses of dessert. I felt like I had to be rolled out of there. But as far as the food goes, I wish there was more explanation or context to go along with them. Shrimp paired with curry and peanut? Why? I'd like to actually know! (Not sarcasm). Some type of explanation or information would make this experience a 4 star vs 3. Now...for the inexcusable part in my opinion. As the night went on, around 9pm, a couple more people came in. One pair being a father and his young son. Dressed. In. Sweatpants. This to me really cheapened the experience. If you are going to charge hundreds of dollars for a meal, you need to hold your guests to the highest standard possible. Maybe they were trying to fill seats in a very empty restaurant, but allowing this type of dress was so inappropriate. Overall, a bit disappointed in the experience. Glad we tried it, not sure we would again.
An Amazing Life Event.
What an amazing evening. We wanted to experience a Michelin star restaurant while we traveled through Portugal. I had incredibly high expectations that were exceeded tenfold. The setting was perfect with amazing views. The staff and service were perfect. One of our party couldn't eat seafood. They modified her tasting menu to accommodate her without issue. But the food. WOW!!! Every morsel of food had so much flavor. I've never experienced anything like that before. I didn't want to leave a crumb. We even received an autographed copy of Chef Joachim Koerper's cookbook. It wasn't a meal. It was an event! I will remember and cherish it forever.
Nice restaurant with a fantastic view over Lisbon
We booked out the private dining room for a work dinner at a conference. The food was very nice considering they had to cater for about 60 of us. The views across Lisbon were great.
An Incredible and Memorable Evening!
Wow! What an incredible and memorable meal. Eleven was recommended by a friend when she learned my husband and I were planning a trip to Lisbon. I had not had time to research the restaurant when I made the reservations so did not know quite what to expect. And I certainly did not know it was a Michelin Star restaurant. We were blown away. What a fabulous meal! Our expectations were far and above exceeded. I don't recall how many courses there were only that each one was amazing. At the end of the meal as we were leaving the restaurant, the hostess surprised us with a personally signed copy of Chef Joachim Koerper's beautiful cookbook, Restaurant Eleven. I would highly recommend Restaurant Eleven!
A wonderful restaurant!
Wonderful dishes super delicious. Loved the βamouse boucheβ , the entrance, first dish, second dish, desert and petit fours. The wines were very good too, only Portuguese wines!
Great experience
Excellent dishes. We got the eleven menu which was a wonderful introduction to the various types of traditional Portuguese cuisine with a modern artistic twist. Chef also gave us his signed cookbook as a gift.
Amateur hour at Eleven
I have dined at many Michelin starred restaurants and find great pleasure in a great meal accompanied by spectacular service. So I decided to spend my last meal in Lisbon at Eleven due to the fact that holding a Michelin star for consecutive years holds great value. This was one of the worst experiences Iβve had at a fine dining establishment. I think that having dined at a 2 Michelin star restaurant the previous night (Ocean) really magnified how poorly managed this one was. We arrived late to our reservation by 30 minutes due to issues with our Uber dropping us off at the wrong location. I tried to call the restaurant repeatedly but could not get through. Luckily they called me and I alerted them of the situation. I donβt know if that upset them or what but what followed was unacceptable, regardless. They accommodated my friends dietary restrictions and suggested we order a prix fixe menu. I was fine with it since I wanted the Eleven menu anyway. She got the vegetarian but she added the $96 euro wagyu entree to her veggie menu. The staff paid as little attention to us as possible. We had to ask for silverware after we were served a course and we stared at it for 10 minutes, unable to eat it. They served me their cooked fish filet completely raw. I thought this was odd so I asked the waiter if I should be able to cut into the fish with my butter knife that they gave me (no joke). He said yes. I showed him that the fish was raw. He took it back to the kitchen. I mean this was just mind blowing to me. Halfway through the meal we had 4 empty cocktail/wine glasses and no one picking them up or asking if we wanted another round. Now we are 2.5 hours in and we had only received 3 courses while a 6 top and 4 top who sat after us was halfway through their meal. Eventually I got so fed up that I got up and told the hostess I wanted to leave. They insisted another course would be out in 2 minutes. So we stayed reluctantly. Chef came out and took photos and talked to his large parties. Said hello while he walked by to smaller tables. Zero interest in the experience of his guests. My main course which was lamb was served rare. I didnβt care. I wanted to get out of there ASAP. We sat at 8 PM (2 top) and didnβt get out til 11,30 PM. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because they comped the drinks to make up for the issues. My waiter told me it was a very strange night, that nothing like this ever happened before (bull! I read the reviews as I sat at dinner being ignored). Best part, the 4 top i previously mentioned left and the rest of the evening their dirty table was left as is. No staff even bothered to clean the table. Clearly mismanaged and understaffed.

Very disappointing! After reading reviews and dining at several Michelin star restaurants with divine degustation menus while on our Portugal trip, we were excited to have a reservation at Eleven. Ambiance was nice and we were greeted warmly. This is the last good thing I will say about the experience. We both ordered the Eleven menu which was a 6 course tasting menu with wine pairings and a few other surprise snacks along the way. While nothing was too bad, the word that I would use is mundane. Nothing stood out as special. Instead the meal just trudged along, with one uninspired dish after another. The fish dishes were just ok, and I have had better lamb in a casual tapas restaurant. Desserts were tasty but again very pedestrian. When dropping over 500 euros on a meal, you expect it to be exceptional. This was far from it. My wife and I both got to the point that we were in a hurry to finish up and leave. I'm not sure if they are just handing out Michelin stars these days, but we had a meal the night before in a taberna for a fifth of the price that we found to be vastly superior. My advice is to skip Eleven.

Wonderful food. Great ambience. The signed copy of Chef Joachim Koerper's cookbook (pictured) was a special treat. A majority of the staff were kind, considerate, and knowledgeable. However, there were a few staff members who were far less pleasant. As we were leaving I overheard two staff members making distasteful comments regarding other diners as well as persons in my party. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience but was ultimately disappointed in those few staff members.

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue? |
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
