Nasty feeling being here - shower is full of mildew, drain doesn't work (so stand in puddle while showering), carpet is damp, and TV doesn't work. All bad enough but when I called to ask for another room there was no apology - just "I'll note for the front desk." I used to love this hotel, but whoever is managing this place is neglecting it. Can't wait to get out of here and end this vacation,

Nasty place (used to be nice) - stayed here a few years ago for a few years but man has this place gone downhill. I can't wait to get out of here. Shower stall is full of mildew, and drain doesn't work. TV doesn't work, and carpets are wet and squishy. on the 17th floor and it's a swamp. Nobu restaurant is a bust, too. Decent food but service is subpar. I think "resting on their laurels" is right.

While the location is nice, there is absolutely no way this hotel can be classified as a 4 star hotel. it is a 3 star at best. There is no in room service after 11pm. I find it unacceptable for this category and price

For a hotel that bills itself as a luxury experience, the walls are surprisingly thin. And I'm not talking about hearing other guests, but other guest's radio alarms. Every morning I stayed here, I was woken up by the radio in the room next door. The room must've been empty too because the radio would run all day and night. It only stopped when I asked the staff to go in a shut it off but around 7am, it would turn on again and wake me up. Given how I wanted to sleep in a little (this is Miami after all), it was incredibly frustrating to wake up to someone else's alarm every morning. Aside from the alarm situation, I would also hear the elevator dings from my room despite being several rooms away from the elevator. So if you're looking for a quiet stay, I would recommend you look elsewhere (like maybe the fountainebleau next door).

Kind of a fun time, there is no open chairs by the pool at times and the pools are always overcrowded with tons of kids and people. If you want to actually kick back and relax in Miami without groups of 8 families taking up all the seating and pool and listening to their little children scream this is not the place for you. Good family spot, though I'm not sure why you'd take a family vacation to south beach Miami with children. Room service took two hours to deliver. Our fridge didn't work and our bathroom light was out as well. Don't come here if you're young looking to have a good relaxing time in Miami because I wasn't able to get in the pool without it being overcrowded with kids til after the sun set, there are no beach chairs by the pool, they're all taken by 11am. so no where to lay out. Was hoping I'd come back looking like I actually went on vacation but if anything I got more pale. Staff is nice, good for a family vacation with kids, not for a fun time in Miami.

I had to pay $800 a night for a room with no hot water because the employees are useless and couldn't find the reservation. Guess what reservation was found next day and they had to give us a credit. Now I am not authorized to get in my room because they don't have me in the system and i left my key inside... i was there when I was authorized.. must be another glitch in their shitty system. Never again! Find another hotel.. NEDGE and LAURA the front desk should be fired for being incompetent. Cheap motel with 5 star prices!!!!

Room service will not even answer the phone when you try and place an order. I thought this was supposed to be a "luxury" resort.
Be the first to ReplyWhere to begin.
...we arrived and checked into our room with a bay view only to find that our view was the roof of the building. The next day at 11am we asked the front desk to move us, and the lady was very nice and said no problem and we would receive a text around 5pm when the new room was ready. We never received a text and stopped by the front desk at 6pm to check in on the arrangements but found they were never made. The new front desk person spoke with the manager and finally made it happen. Once in our room, we tried to order laundry and breakfast room service for the next day; however, no one ever responded to our request. Today, we were gone from the room all day and came back to find no towels or turndown. We had to go to the pool and get beach towels so we could bath. Not what I would expect for the rating and prices.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely terrible hotel.
Do not go there. Do not eat there. So disappointing because this hotel used to be very good 10-20 years ago.Outdated furnitures and dirty carpets, curtains, bar, floors etc. We had some major plumbing issues in the shower. Water was splashing out of the shower door because of the huge gaps between the door, which caused flooding. The housekeeping is absolutely horrible. Try calling someone at their department when you need them. No one ever answers. They are so rude and unexperienced. The beach and pool area are not being taking care of. Terrible maintenance. Chipped and cracked concrete/tiles. Burned plants and grasses. The food at the hotel is very expensive and there's not much in the menus. The Nobu hotel there, is as bad as Eden Roc. Both hotels are in the same tower and confusing. Some of the staff are very nice.I would only give this hotel 1 star which only belongs to some of the below mentioned staff who went above and beyond to make things better:Thank you Ms. Tamara and Mr. Mudar at the beach. A the Oceans Social restaurant, I would like to thank Ms,ReggieMr. John, Ms. Mayelin, Ms. Luisina and Mr. Gerardo for your hospitality.Chamois Allen the Front Office Manager at Nobu. Also, Ms. Maria Vilchez the hotel manger who also went above and beyond to take care of us.

It was a decent experience until we needed to wait 45 minutes for a beach chair. The beach attendant working the booth was incredibly rude to all of the guests waiting. In cases where there is a service issue, there should be apologies to the guests not rudeness and entitlement. This hotel is too expensive to have the staff treat guests like garbage.
Be the first to Reply1-Liner: Great view; Not a pleasant stay at all.
I wish I had spent my money elsewhere!Positives:- Large Balcony (we had the Junior Suite)- Yazmine, from the Front Desk, provided great services- Gabriel, from the Bell Desk, also provided great services- Large soaking tub! (But the jacuzzi jets were weak.)... and that's about it!** Please 'like' my review if you find it informativeNegatives: (In order of my personal dissatisfaction level; bottom being the worst!)- We have a party of 4 clearly stated in the reservation. Why did the Housekeeping team keep on only providing 3 bath towels to our room everyday upon cleaning? On the first night, I spoke to (I believe her name is...) Nora at the Front Desk, on my way out to dinner to ask for extra towels. When I got back to my room... nothing. I had to text the hotel management team again to request for the towels before actual delivery.- Housekeeping came in for turn-down service. Took away the bath mat and replaced it with none. Again, I'm at a beach resort and I would think it's normal to be taking a multiple showers in a day- The lever on the toilet is a) whimsy... feels like if I press any harder, it would break, b) difficult to press down, c) it must stay pressed down for the weak flush to work, and d) it requires multiple flushes. This is something that Housekeeping should have noticed and reported to engineering during regular cleaning.- I kicked the corner of the bed frame multiple times. Although you can say it's my fault, it didn't happen just once. That corner is a safety concern (See attached picture)- A beach resort that closes their beach services (stopped offering towels and retrieving all lounge chairs) at 5pm on an early August Sunday is a bit 'early' in my opinion.- A beach resort that offers 3 swimming pools but ran out of pool towels by 5:30pm is totally unacceptable! (I came back from the beach for some towels and the pool attendant told me that they were out and simply offered me the remaining lounge towel-cover as an alternative.)- The mattress of the bed closest to the bathroom is completely worn out! When you sit on it, you can feel your butt hitting the bottom. When you stand up, you can see the indent. (See attached picture) It was a very unpleasant sleep throughout the entire stay!** Please 'like' my review if you find it informative

Literally writing this from my room right now where in hours of trying I can't get a shower curtain brought up, even after going downstairs and asking at the front desk twice. (seems like a prior guest stole it, there was no shower curtain upon arrival at the room.) Maybe someone will read it on here and finally bring a shower curtain?

I recently had a big group here for our bachelor/bachelorette weekend and we had $17,000 worth of stuff stolen. The cops said it was an inside job, so the staff was definitely in on it. The staff was NOT HELPFUL at all. They were all rude and condescending. Especially the Manager, Ramon. He should be fired for his lack of hospitality. Besides getting our stuff stolen. Safes were missing in some of the rooms, and the refrigerator in the rooms were disgusting. We had asked for a cot in our room 5 times and no one came. The phone in our room wasn't working so if we needed something we had to walk to the front. The staff in the front were very unhelpful, they would lie to us, tell us they can't do anything, and would say they would bring us something and it would never show up. After we got our stuff stolen we had to fight with the manager for about 3 hours to get ONE room comped. Even though we had 8 rooms altogether, they didn't care that they had completely ruined our weekend. Also, we saw cockroaches in the hallway, the cameras don't work in half of the hallways and most of the rooms are disgusting. I would NOT recommend staying here, pay the extra money and stay somewhere else. If the company would have just rectified the situation, I would not be making this review, but there was 0% hospitality in this hotel.
Be the first to ReplyCame here for the first time.
I came with my daughters for the miami spa treatment. We always go to the Fountainbleau and decided to change it up. It would have been a great spa day if the amenities at the spa was usable. Let's get started the hot tub was dirty with a green slime gunk in it floating around. The cold water tub looked clean but didn't want to take any chance. The steam room had no steam. I told the representative and she said she told the front but they cant fix it sorry. The sauna had no heat it was not hot at all just warm. The quite room was nice but I noticed that they did not changed the towels when someone was finished laying down. In this day and age with all these new pandemic diseases like covid and monkey pox being so rampant I would hope establishments would be more attentive. Another issue was we called a representative about a transaction fee that was pending on my credit card before we even got to the spa. She said sorry they have a glitch and it will fall off when we arrive. I said no problem when we arrived the charge was still there and they also took our payments for 3 services. I have never had a transaction held on my credit card before the day of service and oddly did not even say spa or something that has to do with the spa it stated food and beverage which was very odd. Then we were told you have access to all the pools and you do not. You are not allowed at the adult pool which is where we wanted to go did not want to be around kids while I was trying to relax. We tried to make the best of it and had some drinks and food which was a little challenging getting help but finally did. Once we got a server he was very attentive which was good. As for the spa treatment it was good and the therapist did a good job. I gave this establishment 3 stars because of the 2 employees that serviced us. When you go for a spa you go for the amenities and the vibes if these things are not working and that is included in your experience why should you even pay. I felt very disappointed and robed of my spa experience. Sadly to say I don't think I would be back. Hopefully they get these issues resolved.

They market themselves as a top tier hotel when in reality they are budget. Their hotel is in major need of repair. The rooms are awful and OVER PRICED. They areunder staffed. The gym is horrible and filthy ... I am shocked anyone continues to stay there. Unless you're staying here for $150 a night, save yourself and go elsewhere.

We have been coming here for over 15 years at least once a year and I have never been so embarrassed humiliated and discriminated against as I was yesterday by the pool. I understood once we got to the upper level poor that it was for Novu only The first gentleman we spoke to was just that a gentleman respectful understanding it was 6:10 in the evening and he made us very comfortable and explained the situation and we said oh thank you and that we understood and we wouldn't come up there for the rest of our stay. We were then approached by another person waitress not sure what her title was explaining to us that we do not have the correct wristbands on that she could get in trouble and this was for Nobu people only and that we would have to leave. I explained that the gentleman was aware but she said she could get in trouble with the manager. At this point I did speak to the manager who was extremely condescending , telling me and my family after much questioning and embarrassment that he would let us stay for this time but we were not allowed up there again. When I questioned the fact that no children were allowed but yet there was children in that pool with their family I was given some lame excuse. As I said we have been coming here for years and never before made to feel the way we did yesterday. We also enjoyed the roof top pool. My family and I have always felt at home here. We have always been treated with respect. We feel sad and very disappointed that there are no handicap access. There were also umbrellas today at the beach. Too windy??? This was just a few of the situation that happened over the course of the long weekend we were there 7/21/22-7/24/22.
Be the first to ReplyWe came for a business conference.
The location is great. Service was extremely helpful and professional. Food was tasty (stupid expensive - so are the drinks). The pools are lovely but only one pool (the higher one) has a view of the beach and ocean. Reason I gave it 4 stars: my colleagues at Eden Roc hotel (I was at Nobu) complained their rooms were outdated and bathrooms were icky. My Nobu hotel room was excellent and beautiful, but the coffee maker and phone didn't work (they apologized for it). The fake wood (metal) surrounding the pool is so hot it burns your feet so wear pool shoes! And service at the pool was very slow, but that might just be because of the nationwide employee shortage.
Be the first to ReplyVery poor stay experience! The sheets after checking in
Very poor stay experience! The sheets after checking in were very wet, as if they were just washed and tumbled but not dried. The floor and walls were also very wet and slippery, and I think there seems to be a problem with the hotel's exhaust system. The shower head in the bathroom didn't close tightly and it was dripping all day after using it. There's what appears to be ketchup residue on the coffee table, and I don't think it's forgivable for the level of sanitization and cleaning of rent to be done during a pandemic like this. The A/C was broken, couldn't adjust the temperature, it kept at 59°F. The door of the small refrigerator could not be opened at all. We called the front desk to ask for disposable slippers but they were not delivered at all, but went to the counter the next day and asked for them again before they were delivered to the room. Great beach and sea, but the room cost over $600 per day and add the $35 per day beach management fee. All in all, I'm giving 1 star just because there are no 0 stars.

.. this is my second time back at the hotel and I will be coming back! The service is 5 star. From the second we arrived to the time we left. The staff is on it. Beach staff Luis and King specifically were amazing. The room was spacious and clean with amazing views. I would highly recommend the hotel and the mid beach area I like a little better than south beach. Great hotel, staff and stay. I will be back.
Be the first to ReplyNightmare! I drove my Tesla to this hotel when staying.
When I arrived I had ten miles left. I told valet and he said no worries he will charge it. The next morning I go down to get my car and it's now on one mile. They inform that the charger they have is broken. The manager promises me he will resolve the problem. Two hours later I return, not resolved. Five hours later, still not resolved. I take maters into my own hand and tow the car. The manager said he would reimburse me for this. It has now been two months and contacted multiple times. I have received any reimbursement.
