I have stayed at DREAM Midtown twice in two different types of rooms, and I have two different experiences to talk about. My first visit of the hotel was during summer last year, and me and my partner booked a Standard Room. That room was designed basic, but pretty. The biggest problem for me was its size, because we felt like it was catastrophically small for both of us. It was even hard to fit 2 pieces of luggage there. The other thing I personally did not like was just a little amount of natural daylight in the room. Otherwise, there was no other issues with the room. All the furniture looked good, the King Bed was comfortable, plus, I liked its design a lot. The refrigerator was big and could fit a lot of food and drinks. The bathroom in the room looked very nice and remodeled. Unfortunately, it was tiny. Otherwise, the shower stall was pretty big. The bathroom amenities were of a good quality. In January this year I traveled to NYC by myself and got a Premium Room at the same DREAM. This room (#909) was designed almost the same way similar to my previous Standard Room. But its obvious plus was its larger size. I would not say it was a lot bigger than the Standard Room, but I could definitely feel the extra space and I felt mostly comfortable in this room. Also, luckily this room had bigger amounts of daylight and it was mostly bright there during the day. One more plus, both times my rooms (and also the entire hotel) were ideally clean. Also, when I called and asked for something (like new towels or more shower gel) I got everything fairly fast including at night. Housekeeping did a very good job. Front desk staff were always friendly to me. By the way, I would like to say a “BIG THANKS” to Paulina for taking great care of me. She is very professional and super nice! And she helped make my second stay at DREAM nearly perfect. The hotel’s lobby looks good and stylish (I really loved the big aquarium there). Hotel’s Wi-Fi always worked nice and fast. The only one hotel’s minus for me was the outdated small and kind of slow elevators. I wish they switched them for new modern ones. At the end of my review, I would like to point out the hotel’s nice location, which is very close to Central Park, and also walkable to Times Square. The area has a lot of shops and restaurants around and it’s very convenient. Finalizing my review, I would like to recommend the hotel to visitors especially if you want to be in the heart of Manhattan close to Central Park or Times Square. And my tip is if you travel alone, stay in a Standard Room, its size is enough for 1 person. But if 2 of you or more are going to stay at DREAM, please, 100% go for a bigger room, like a Premium Room I stayed at. Because its extra spacing is going to make staying more comfortable for multiple people. P.S.: with this review I have included photos of my Premium Room (#909).
