Denver Biscuit Company- Stanley Marketplace Aurora Reviews from The Last Year
One of a kind restaurant with the most provocative biscuit
One of a kind restaurant with the most provocative biscuit sandwiches I've ever seen! You'll start salivating by merely glancing at the menu so just wait until your food comes out. There was a long line because this is a popular venue, but once we were seated, the service was flawless. The host and waiter were very nice and we ordered and got our meals quickly. The restaurant is clean and is in an excellent location in Stanley Marketplace, so there is lots to see if there is a line. I ordered The K-Mack and can say that I've never eaten anything like it. Fluffy biscuits, crispy chicken, and a variety of Asian toppings that came together in beautiful harmony. It ate a touch salty, but was an absolute flavor bomb. I was also able to eat most of my mom's order, The Franklin - another incredible sandwich. A more traditional breakfast combination with a luscious mushroom gravy that improved every bite. We went with a group of 7 and everyone loved their order. If biscuits are on your mind, this place will not disappoint.
The first thing to know about this location of the DBC is
The first thing to know about this location of the DBC is that on the weekends, you should expect a relatively sizable wait. Probably 30-60 minutes. That said, you can jump on the waitlist via their website. This, however, is no guarantee that you won't have a wait when you get there. Fortunately, there's plently to do at Stanley Marketplace to kill time while you wait. Ok, on to the experience... Once seated, you will be presented with a menu full of options that will satisfy about 99% of the general public. I'm talking about delicious, not particularly healthy but good for the soul food that is big on flavor. Whether you're in the mood for a breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there are options that will most certainly satisfy. The atmosphere is casual, but somehow very welcoming and fun. This last part is hearsay. My mom, who I trust implicitly, said the cheeseburger she had was the (and I quote), "best burger...ever at a restaurant". High praise. I had biscuits and gravy, but next time trying that burger.
This was a clean, airy restaurant.
We dined at a busy time, and indoor seating was limited. They have self-serve coffee which seemed cool even though I don't drink any. I opted for the vegetarian pot pie. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The gravy with mushrooms tasted great to be vegetarian. They do have a chicken gravy option. The portions are large! The biscuit was nice and fluffy. While I did not order a biscuit sandwich, they were huge and visually appealing. Our server was quite friendly and patient with my many questions. We may come back to eat here on our way to the airport.

Located inside Stanley Marketplace, this DBC is a self seating restaurant. There's a nice bar on the left to the entrance. Plenty of seating space with booths and tables. The menu has lots of variety of burgers and sandwiches made with their special biscuits. There are platter dishes as well. I found the biscuits to be uniquely tasty l. But the chicken in burger was deep fried. I didn't like it much. Fries and fried Okra were some good sides. The service was little confusing. We sat ourself down and also had to get our own menu. Then an associate came from the back to greet us. The food came out within a short time. Overall we had a decent dinner.
I ordered the K- Mack and while the biscuit was delicious!
I ordered the K- Mack and while the biscuit was delicious! Definitely can tell it was homemade and it was flaky. Unfortunately, the chicken glaze was way too salty for me. It was hard for me to finish it and while the daikon helped cut some of the saltiness, it was still too salty. It's located in a food hall and it's really cool to explore what's around there.

My some said it was the best burger he's ever had! The Cuban sandwich was amazing and a real twist on an old sandwich. There was no wait and the staff was fast. My kids rarely ask to go back to a place when we are on a vacation because they know I like to try different places. They pleaded to go back here!

We, a party of 4, went at lunch time and waited almost an hour before we were sat but the food was AMAZING!!! And the food came out relatively fast. As a very picky eater i ate the Lola and Chicken Tenders and they were very likely the best food ever!!!

A mainstay at Stanley Markeyplace, this place used to be a standard, go-to, know-what to expect brunch or lunch place. My experience in recent months is that they are slipping. A recent brunch experience: Chicken Biscuit Sandwich: Dryish biscuit with chicken that is largely gristle. Fruit Bowl - We had a kid with us who had the fruit bowl, half of the berries were furry. Hash Browns - greasy and similar to McDonalds but I think that is what they are going after. Biscuit French Toast - seriously burnt and could taste the last 50 orders from the grill. The staff is friendly but definitely hurried on weekends. Sad this place is no longer amazing.

This place doesn't need my 5 star rating, but I'll give it anyway. Delicious Biscuits! Highly recommended the jelly! Shawn our waiter was great and very helpful with these first timers! Great location for shopping while you wait! Love the self serve coffee bar.
Terribly inconsistent, I've ordered from this place 3 times
Terribly inconsistent, I've ordered from this place 3 times and every single time it was like ordering from a different place and it all just got worse every single time. 1 time was really good, second time it wasn't bad but they missed half the stuff I paid extra for and what i did get was over cooked and dry. My 3rd time the biscuit was like a rock, chicken tiny, dry and way over cooked, I almost thought they forgot the egg yet again but it was just tiny and destroyed. The garlic parm fries had no seasoning what so ever, they were cold, wet, soggy and still partially raw. Wouldn't recommend wasting your valuable time on a place so inconsistent when there are so many other options in Denver to try
I'm ashamed it's taken me this long to review as this DBC
I'm ashamed it's taken me this long to review as this DBC is the OG for me - the first time I ever stepped foot into a DBC was at this location over 6 years ago. Located in the Stanley Marketplace, this was THE STOP for that final Colorado meal before hopping on a plane back to the East Coast. The Stanley Marketplace has tons of great small businesses and eateries as well as a brewery and outdoor activities for the kiddos so you can really make a day of it here. One of my favorite things to do is have a filling brunch at DBC and then "walk it off" while perusing the shops nearby. I find that this location is a bit more chill than some of the others I've been to, but don't let that fool you - they still have a steady stream of traffic because people flock from all over to eat here. The decor is funky and fun with a "biscuits all day" neon sign on the floor entrance beckoning you to step over into another portal. The staff has always been super friendly here and the food speaks for itself. DBC is a Colorado staple & the perfect hangover brunch. It's a great place to take out-of-towners. Be ready to come in with an appetite because the portions are hefty. At this point I think I've had everything on the menu, but the Franklin is for sure my #1. Buttermilk fried chicken (yes), tenderbelly bacon (yes), cheddar cheese (yes), smothered in your choice of gravy (OH HELL YES). Be sure to add on a runny egg as that completes the meal. Their mushroom gravy is crazy good. I still opt for 1/2 and 1/2 so that I get a taste of the sausage gravy too, but that mushroom gravy has such great depth of flavor that I could dunk an old shoe in it and still find it delicious. I'm also a big fan of their cheesy grits & their house-made jams and honey butter are out of this world tasty. The place does get busy, especially on the weekends so putting your name on the waitlist is the best move. They have a self-serve coffee station with a pick-your-own mug deal which is a cool touch. If you're looking for a belly-busting brunch that's a good bang for your buck, then DBC is the place to go. Breakfast is served until 2pm M-F and until 3pm on Sat-Sun. They have a full bar (Atomic Cowboy) with delicious cocktails. The Peachy Keen is heavy in the rotation (house-made sweet tea? yes please!)
Holy BISCUITS!!! This place was incredible!!! My family
Holy BISCUITS!!! This place was incredible!!! My family and I were visiting from California and I think I hit the jackpot with this place !! The bacon cinnamon roll was the perfect blend of savory and sweet .. everything we ordered was delicious and soooo filling .. the service was great , the location was super neat too . Definitely will be coming back next time I'm in town
This place was casual, low key, and tasty.
You get your drinks in mason jars and your utensils in a metal bucket. The food was easily above average but not mind blowing to the point of 5 stars. I had a biscuit sandwich. The biscuits were good and fluffy. The bacon was thick and the fried chicken was juicy. The star was the maple syrup for me.

The people who created this business and its recipes love food! All of the food i have had are amazing. My absolute favorites are the Franklin for breakfast. The fried chicken is amazing. I also am absolutely in love with the pot pie. It's so earthy and delicious and the house made fried onion strings are to die for. And for dessert the strawberry shortcake is amazing! Absolutely love this place and eat here at least twice a month and every time the food is spot on!
Absolutely loved my meal and the customer service was great.
The atmosphere was clean and great. Thank you to all the staff at Denver biscuit and company
I wanted to visit the Stanley.
It's loaded with great places to eat, and Denver Biscuit Company just looked too good to pass up! The menu is very straightforward and I like that. Just enough chicken and biscuit varieties but not too overwhelming. They also have biscuits and gravy in case you want to skip the chicken. Allison, who is terriffic, took my order at the front desk to create a to go order and brought it out to me in the foodcourt area. You can also eat in the restaurant itself....it's a nice place! I had my food within five minutes of ordering it! Wow! I went for the Ellsworth. A pretty basic chicken end biscuit with pickles, spicy mustard, and honey. It was a great combination. It's not easy to pick up and eat like a sandwich because the biscuit falls apart easily. It's a very good biscuit, though. Not too dry and very fluffy! I ate it with a knife and fork with no problem. The chicken is almost black but it doesn't taste burnt, and it's plenty moist and tasty. I will likely return. I want to try the Korean Fried Chicken version next time.

First time going here and was absolutely impressed.
Waiting times were pretty long but it was worth it. All the food we got was great and the Bloody Mary was a nice touch. Staff was also attentive. Will absolutely return.
Nice to have something close by with great food.
Staff is always inviting and seem like they deal with a ton of different people. Which makes the people watching with breakfast enjoyable.
Really fun experience!
We had a great visit! The food was stellar and the staff were so kind! From the front desk to our server to the other server who helped us after we left our take home box. The Stanley Marketplace is fun as well. A great experience.
Great menu. Poor execution.
Great menu. Very nice staff. Poor execution. Ordered scrambled eggs- they don’t make them from fresh eggs- they use a pre mixed egg mixture- gross. Plus had to send them back 2x because they were cold. So, gross egg mixture and cooked ahead and dished out of a bowl or something. Should be fresh eggs. Really.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!

So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here

Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
