Delmonico's New York Reviews from The Last Year
Fantastic dining experience.
I'd wanted to go here a long time and it was thoroughly amazing food, atmosphere and service. It's such a cool old establishment with lots of history. I found the wedge salad delicious and my pasta was too yummy, the mashed potatoes melt in your mouth. My friend had the fish and loved it. I highly recommend this establishment and there's so much to do in this area.
This was one of my favorite Restaurant Week meals of all
This was one of my favorite Restaurant Week meals of all times! I have participated in Restaurant Week multiple times and I was thoroughly impressed with Delmonico's. The service was exceptional from start to finish even though we were there to participate in Restaurant Week and didn't order anything extra. They were attentive and friendly, the meal was well paced, and we were able to take our time. They checked on us just the right amount of times and were able to answer any questions we asked. The dining room is dark and we sat at a table on the outskirts of the room, which is my preference, as it felt more secluded and it wasn't loud or busy where we were. The Restaurant Week menu is large, with 4 or more options for the appetizer, main, and dessert, and the meal was definitely worth the price. I ordered the main crab cake with potato strings and tarragon dill tartar, the eye of delmonico frites, and the chocolate layer cake. I also got to try the yellowtail crudo with avocado, walnut, crispy pearls, seasoned shoyu, and shiso, and the yuzu cheesecake with black sesame, wild blueberry, and shiso. They started us off with a basket of bread. The bread was soft and the butter spread easily. The crispy potato string shell paired well with the creamy crab cake. It was filling but not heavy. We enjoyed the crunchy aspect of the crispy pearls on the yellowtail crudo, but this appetizer was on the smaller side with only 3 pieces of yellowtail. The steak was a generous portion, well seasoned, and cooked to our liking. The fries were crispy and fresh. Both of the desserts were dense. The chocolate cake was very smooth and creamy with a strong chocolate flavor and I was glad that there was ice cream to pair with it. The yuzu cheesecake was our least favorite item that we had. The cheesecake was dense and we felt like there were too many different flavors that didn't all go together. Overall the service was outstanding, the dining experience was enjoyable, the food was well prepared, and the Restaurant Week price was a great deal! I will definitely be back.

I'm a big steak guy and this was one of the best I've ever eaten! I had straight up ribeye and it was spectacular! The baked Alaska was also amazing as was the wedge salad. This place is a real classic!
Delmonico's has lost its charm, its class and its Heritage
Delmonico's has lost its charm, its class and its Heritage has been wiped away. The founders of Delmonico's are spinning in their grave. My husband and I got engaged at Delmonico's, we also had our wedding reception here on 07-07-07 and we came yearly for our anniversary dinner. Since re-opening post covid the restaurant is not the same. The older waiters that had proper training on etiquette and how to properly attend to a table are gone. We came in on 07/07 for our dinner. The two young ladies at the front greeted us politely and asked if we dined here before. I gave them the brief summary of engaged, married and so on.... They both smirked and said how cute. I'm my opinion they girls are too young for such restaurant and don't grasp the importance of this special occasion, or understanding the rich history and knowing how to deliver at that level. We were seated at our table, and our waitress who's name I won't post here arrived with the menu's. She looked like she didn't have time to fix her hair it was in a sloppy ponytail. I took a moment to look around the room and noticed the changes such as the wallpaper being gone, modern day mirrors on walls, the plates no longer have a letter D on it and all the staff is young. We asked for a bottle of DomPerignon, Justine the sommelier arrived to inform us they don't have any Dom. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us a good recommendation for other Champagne. We enjoyed it very much. Thank you Justine. There was no mention of any specials so we ordered from the menu. We ordered the Caramelized bacon and Crab Cake. We were asked how many we want? So, my husband asked how big are they? She showed with her hands a circle a bit smaller than a hockey puck, and assuming that it was a flat crab cake like most places we ordered 6. As a waitress it is her job to explain what we are ordering, and she should have said.... If you don't mind, I recommend one each as they are filling, and if you choose to have more I'll gladly bring them over. She shows up with two other waiters and 6 individual plates with crab cakes the size of a soft ball a sphere, the crab cake wrapped in strings of potato and deep fried $35 each. Very filling! So now we are full and we just ordered a steak. My husband ordered WAGYU COTE DE BOEUF 36oz $250 to share with our son. It was very fatty. My signature Delmonico's ribeye and my daughters filet mignon were very good. For sides we ordered mushroom, asparagus and pommes purée (mashed potatoes) which were delicious. Since we finished our Champagne my husband and daughter ordered drinks. The waitress was standing on my left side and reached over to my right to pass my daughters drink to her and placed it on her left side. I don't mind your arm pit in my face at a local Diner but I do mind it at Delmonico's some basic etiquette is expected. In the past when David was our waiter the experience was memorable and extremely special, no longer the case here. I noticed two managers walking the floor, the taller one well dressed and focused on something important as he ran around. The other smaller built with a beard wobbled around with a look of confusion. Foolishly, I actually thought that one of them would come and say hello to us as they did in the past and offer a toast on the house. How silly on my part, but again, the girls are too young to know that such things should be mentioned to the manager. The manager should also review his reservations and in the Notes I mentioned why we are coming. It was dessert time. We ordered two to share and my husband ordered an espresso. We were done eating the dessert when the waitress showed up with the espresso. My husband took one sip and said try this to me. It was so bitter and impossible to drink. While the food was ok, except for the Wagyu, but the entire experience was less than perfect. What is sad to us, is that Delmonico's is no longer classy, it has been stripped of all the things that made it memorable and represented its history. It's Heritage wiped away by young trust fund kids that come here with sloppy attire. No class and no etiquette. We can't stop talking about how sad we are about this Iconic establishment becoming just another hipster restaurant. We will not return, at this price point I expect quality.
I had been to Delmonico's many times over the years and
I had been to Delmonico's many times over the years and have had consistently good experiences. I took a friend, it was her first time, and unfortunately, it wasn't so pleasant for her. We started off with the Caesar salad - which we shared. It was quite unique, unlike any salad we'd had before. The leaves - as you can see in the accompanying photo - were served separately. The dressing was cradled in the individual leaves - it was delicious. There were whole fresh sardines over a few of the leaves for those true fish lovers! We both ordered the 10 oz. filets, with the Pommes Puree and Sautéed Wild Mushrooms on the side. I ordered my steak medium well - she ordered hers medium. My steak was perfectly cooked with a pink center throughout. It had a crisp, charred exterior but was very moist - juice flowing with every cut. My partner cut her steak, while the exterior was medium, as she cut a few slices, it was evident the steak was undercooked - cooked medium rare. Very disappointing. We sent her steak back and waited and waited and waited - when it was returned, it was very charred outside and still medium rare inside. I was in disbelief-she was very understanding-she just left it on her plate. The 'best' part - they asked if she wanted to take it home. Okay, the mashed potatoes (Pommes Puree) were amazing-really the best....and the mushrooms were very good. We finished with the Baked Alaska - which always lives up to its reputation as an incredible dessert! While I was hoping this dining experience would be memorable, it fell short for her, and me.
Easily the most incredible steak I've ever had.
While visiting New York we wanted to visit this landmark that was under renovation during our last trip--so worth the wait! Started with cocktails at the bar, a comfortable old school vibe with friendly and accommodating staff eager to talk with my husband about their shared love of rare whiskies. Then off to the dining room for our long-awaited dinner. We shared the burrata (creamy and light) and the crab cake, before our entree of steak (ribeye and a filet) and a side of potatoes. The steaks were incredible--our hobby is visiting prime steakhouses wherever we travel and this for me is the one to beat. Dry aged to perfection, melt in your mouth tender with a light crust, seasoned with salt and pepper and it didn't need more--my side of horseradish barely touched. A wonderful experience!
Their is not much that I can add to what has already been
Their is not much that I can add to what has already been said about this storied New York classic fine dining restaurant. The appearance is outstanding. Service is beyond excellent, and the food was wonderful. We had raw west coast oysters that were very clean and fresh, Caesar salad that was delicious, fillet mignon that was well-seasoned and a perfect medium, lobster newberg with it's wonderful cognac sauce, creamy mashed potatoes and nicely charred in season delicious asparagus. Of course, for dessert, we had the baked Alaska...a flaming, sweet banana gelato wrapped with walnut cake, apricot jam and a meringue topping...just a little bit of heaven! This is a wonderful, wonderful place!
I was very much not a fan of the food at Delmonico's.
The service was awesome - we loved our waiter and the drinks were great - however, the food left a lot to be desired. I will caveat this by saying I am a vegetarian so I am perhaps not reviewing the food that Delmonico's is known for. I had the burrata and was disappointed - it didn't have that luscious, creamy, melty interior that you'd expect - it was solid like cream cheese and had a hint of "fridge" flavor - it just wasn't right. My party enjoyed the wagyu steak a lot, and the dover sole was missing some flavor so we asked for some lemon which helped improve it. We also got a couple of desserts which were disappointing. The yuzu cheesecake had an eggy flavor to it and the texture was just off - it just didn't seem fresh. The chocolate layer cake had too much of a rum flavor that was off-putting, and the accompanying ice cream, a salted caramel flavor, really just tasted like cereal milk that had been left out for a while. I was hoping for much better quality food here but I left feeling disappointed. I would maybe come back to try the mushroom risotto or another vegetarian dish in the future.

This review is for the bar area -- we walked in at 5 on a Saturday and the restaurant upstairs, as well as the bar area downstairs, was pretty open. No reservations. We ordered from the main dinner menu, although let's be honest: I was really just there for the wedge salad and the baked Alaska, both of which were stellar. The service was quite formal, and in many ways, perfectly executed -- the minute that my husband had taken the last sip of his drink, the waiter was there to offer another. I could see that it might feel a little pushy. He ordered a steak, which he said was among the best he'd ever had. It was massive. Didn't come with any sides, but he said he just wanted meat, so there you go. We also had some bread. And like I said, I had the wedge salad. And it was incredible. Maybe the bar for an iceberg lettuce concoction seems low? But damn, this blew away any other wedge salad I've ever had -- and most other salad varieties to boot. The baked Alaska was delicious too -- and any dessert that's set on fire is a winner, arguably, regardless of how it tastes. We came here to tick "the first restaurant" off our NYC To Do list, and I don't think we had low expectations necessarily, but we were there for the history, I'd say, more than the food. But this was a great meal.
Don't got here !
Very noisy..could hardly hear my tablemates..lobster newburg looked and tasted like rubber..hard to cut even with a steak knife. Tab for 3..only one of us ordered a cocktail, no wine. ..$400 !
Excellent Food Quality and Classy Service! Even had a secret door by our table
This is the renovated Delmonico's that has been around to a century and a half. It's in the building that everyone has seen pictures off. The building itself comes to a point on Beaver St and the restaurant has a front and a side entrance. The minute you walk in you'll notice the service is topnotch. Every staff member greets you warmly and gets out of your way as you navigate the crowded dining room floors. Exceptional courtesy! The three of us were there to celebrate our son’s 40th and were fortunate to be put in a room of just 4 other tables and a secret passageway behind our table. Just press on the wall and it opens up to a secret hallway. We're not allowed to say what it is for. Our server was "Paul" and he was classy, knowledgeable, and had a dry wit. It was a pleasure to have him take care of us. He was always aware of our needs even as he went back and forth from our room to the main dining area. WE had our wine (avg $20.00/glass) a wedge salad w crisp prosciutto chips, and Octopus with delicious bread. For entrees we had (2) Eye of Delmonico's Steaks and (1) Delmonico Steak ($68.00 and $79.00 respectively). Fantastic meat. Everything is ala carte so we ordered Sauteed mushrooms (off the wall good), Asparagus (excellent), and a Spaetzle dish (ughhh - not very good at all). WE also ordered Kosho Butter and Shallot Beef Jus. Deserts were extremely tasty and delicately made - Mango Sorbet, Chocolate Ice Cream, and Cappuccinos. Be prepared that this is a first-class restaurant, historic, and in the Finance district of NYC. Be prepared for approx. $200.00pp for a complete dinner. But its Delmonico's! The experience was one we (and our son) will remember for a lifetime. Hint: Look for parking at the lot called Icon Parking, 15 William St. It’s just a few steps across from the side entrance of Delmonico’s. Some online maps do not show it, but it’s very convenient
One of the best eats in new york ever.
Wow, wow and wow. From start to finish, the customer service is exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Every course was a delight. The ambience is just right. I would recommend this restaurant to everybody. The portions are gigantic (which was a shock) so bring your appetite. They have a large and varied wine list with ample wines available by the glass so after 2 cosmopolitans and 2 glasses of champagne we only had room for a bottle of Sancerre. The champagne was delicious and one I had not heard of before so I wish I could remember the name. Bottom line, it’s my new must go to restaurant in New York.
Great steak experience!
On a recent visit to New York we had dinner in Delmonicos . The staff were excellent. Helpful and informative. The food was first class . Our daughter had the steak and she said it was the best ….ever . A memorable foodie experience!

Finally tried this iconic NYC institution and my expectations were exceeded. The ambiance and service were impressive, but the food was all prepared perfectly. We enjoyed Caesar and wedge salads (very interesting versions), excellent crab cake, delicious steaks and Lobster Newburgh, mushrooms (Asian preparation), great hash browns, and chocolate cake. The famous Baked Alaska did not disappoint! Can't wait to return.

Delmonico's was outstanding! From the service to the ambiance and of course the food. My friend and I had such an amazing experience. We started with the Maine Crab Cake (see video) which was an explosion of great flavor. I ordered the Filet Mignon and my friend ordered the Signature Delmonico. Our sides were the Pomme Puree and Grilled Asparagus. Everything was cooked to perfection. The hollandaise foam on the asparagus was nothing like I've ever experienced before. We finished our meal with the Baked Alaska to which our server gave us the historic story behind the dish. (I recommend reading the full history of Delmonico's on their website). Our server was very attentive and gave us a memorable experience. I wish I lived here in New York so it could be my little guilty pleasure.
Delmonico's is exactly what you expect from the oldest
Delmonico's is exactly what you expect from the oldest restaurant in New York City. A stuffy, white tablecloth, steakhouse with service catered toward corporate card dining. Our waiter seemed entirely disinterested in our experience, failing to explain the menu, adequately answer questions, or stop by and check on us. Unfortunately this is a through line that I've experienced at several old school steakhouses in NYC, who seem obligated to drag along subtle discrimination as part of their heritage, assuming that certain people are dining on a budget. We weren't. Thankfully, the food was not as disappointing as the service. The filet mignon was well cooked and I adored the Wild Mushroom Risotto. The Yuzu Cheesecake was also a refreshing and delicious addition to an otherwise standard menu.
I have no complaints about their food and service.
However, they included the credit card fee into "taxes". People sure will miss that credit card fee because it was listed as "taxes"
Delmonico's is my ultimate favorite quintessential New York
Delmonico's is my ultimate favorite quintessential New York steakhouse! Their food and service are incomparable. Whether it's for a work lunch or dinner date, nothing quite satisfies the way well-made, high quality food can do, particularly steaks! From Delmonico's Chilled Jumbo Prawns, Oven Roasted Turkey Club, to Hand-Cut French Fries, all outstanding. Delmonico's Dry-Aged Bone-In Ribeye, all 22-ounces, is fabulous, and must served with their delicate Shallot Beef Jus. Delmonico's invented the legendary Baked Alaska (banana gelato, walnut cake, and an apricot jam with torched meringue), my favorite NYC dessert besides anything that Bronx native Shaun Velez makes, NYC's best Pastry Chef at DANIEL (Boulud) -sophisticated desserts driven by both ingredients and seasonality.
I've been meaning to come here for some time now, but ever
I've been meaning to come here for some time now, but ever since they closed I haven't had the chance to. Since they finally reopened at the end of last year, I felt like it was my time to finally hit up this New York institution. My sister and I started with the Yellowtail Crudo and the Crab Cake and very much enjoyed both. The Yellowtail was accompanied with bits of crispy rice and ginger which added texture and freshness to the plate and the crab cake had both presentation and texture added on by the potato string cage. For mains we got the Delmonico's Cut of steak and Mushroom Risotto. That cut of steak, as well as the color and preparation were spot on, super delicious with that signature char. The mushroom risotto was also great (maybe a little bit liquidy) but it was creamy, rich, and cheesey, and the white mushrooms on top were pickled so they contrasted the rest of the dish really well. The side of creamed spinach we got was also divine. For dessert, my sister and I both got Baked Alaska and while this is definitely not the standard flavor combination today, it is the original so we went for it anyways. I like the banana gelato and the walnut cake, thought the apricot jam incorporation isn't really too my taste. Just as well, it was still nice to try it! The service throughout the meal was pretty spot on as well as the food and I'm glad that we got to finally try this historic spot. I will likely return.
Our experience was exactly what we were hoping from a
Our experience was exactly what we were hoping from a restaurant like Delmonico's. Food was excellent. The biggest surprise was the wedge salad. The presentation, the flavors were unexpected for a salad. Delmonico's steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The building is full of history.
I sold all my crypto and took my woman out to the best
I sold all my crypto and took my woman out to the best steak house this side of Wall Street. As soon as I walked in I felt like Leonardo DiCaprio playing Jordan Belford in a 2013 comedy. I put on my best H&M chinos and pressed my target button down and off we went. Me and my lady both got a baseball steak and talked politics and money. The steak was delicious. We washed it down with a baby tub of mashed potatoes and finished it off with a baked Alaska and cheesecake. I've only had fried Hawaii but can honestly say they both taste amazing. I highly recommend stopping by.
As a loyal patron of Delmonico's, I was eagerly
As a loyal patron of Delmonico's, I was eagerly anticipating its reopening. Prior to the pandemic, it held the top spot as my favorite dining destination in the city. However, my recent experience dining there for the first time since its reopening left me feeling disappointed. The once esteemed steakhouse, in my humble opinion, seems to have lost its edge, now offering mediocre fare at almost double the previous prices. Our meal began with the Oysters. Topped with an overpowering mango sauce, they failed to impress and left me wanting. On a brighter note, the short rib Tortellini was a standout, offering a burst of flavor that momentarily lifted my spirits. However, the Delmonico Steak, ordered Black and Blue, fell short of expectations. Lacking the robust flavor it once boasted, it arrived overcooked. Precision in steak temperature is a basic expectation for any reputable steakhouse. The side dishes offered a mix of hits and misses. The French fries, though accompanied by an excellent dipping sauce, arrived lukewarm, while the Broccoli Rabe was a commendable addition to the meal. To cap off the evening, we indulged in the Baked Alaska, only to find it markedly different from its former glory. Half the dessert remained untouched, a stark departure from the clean plates of the past. It appears that Delmonico's may be experimenting with its recipes, but the results are not in their favor. As someone who once frequented this establishment (I even lived across the street), I find myself questioning whether I will return in the future. Regrettably, it seems that Delmonico's will no longer hold the title of my go-to steakhouse.
Terrible
My wife and I went there for our anniversary. She ordered a filet mignon medium rare w d it came out rare. When we got home she got sick and today she has food poisoning. I have been to many top rated restaurants, including Michelin stars across the country. What a terrible experience.
Fab experience
An amazing solo night experience, one for the bucket list! Beautiful steak and stunning surroundings
Holiday visit did not disappoint
Impeccable service. A gastronomic dining experience. Nicely decorated for holiday season. Very extensive wine “book”. We had several appetizers, Signature Delmonico Steak, Mashed Potato and Asparagus. Everything was excellent!
Amazing!
Went for dinner on Christmas with the family and had a wonderful experience. Several menu options for a 3 course meal with the Delmonico Steak reigning supreme. Service was fantastic. Atmosphere amazing.
Most amazing food and service
The most amazing meal and experience for my birthday... The staff are amazing from the coat lady to the wine waiter five star experience
Underwhelmed and Over Charged - You Pay for Its History
Having worked and lived in the downtown NYC area many years I must have walked by Delmonico’s dozens of times and knew about its history. Reading the many PR articles about its reopening, my wife and I decided to give it a try to celebrate her birthday. To be honest we were a bit underwhelmed. Yes, the room was nicely decorated and the service and food were both good, but all in all it is just a NYC steakhouse that leverages its history - and you are paying for its history and the associated hype. I was thinking everyone would be nicely dressed, but there were guys wearing baseball caps, jeans and sneakers. I guess times have changed. What put me off was the excessive prices and the hidden charges that they stuck on the final bill. Paying $79 for their signature Delmonico steak and $75 for their Dover Sole was expected and wasn’t a surprise. Bottom line – If you are expecting to pay premium prices, expect to pay even more than your expectation (Baked Alaska - $24, side of asparagus - $17, wedge salad - $26). Here’s what I found annoying. I ordered two glasses of champagne without looking at the wine list and figured the charge would be maybe $20 a glass. How about $44 a glass. I was quite unpleasantly surprised (especially when a whole bottle is about $50). I also found it annoying that I was sneakily charged an extra $15 because I used my credit card to settle the bill. That’s right, the prices on the menu are if you pay cash and if you pay with a credit card, they tack on an extra percentage. Come on. It reminded me of a gas station that teases you with a price per gallon for cash and you end up paying more to use your card. Talk about being nickeled and dimed. Fortunately there was no charge to use the men’s room. Living and working in NYC we have our choice of Michelin starred restaurants (if you are lucky enough to score a reservation) and have eaten in many. When I compare the Delmonico’s experience to the likes of Le Bernardin or Daniel, Delmonico’s doesn’t come close.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!
Worked flawlessly!
Worked so well! I was a bit nervous, but everything went very smoothly. purchased the reservation, and got into the restaurant seamlessly.
Love this app!
So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here
Prime time, great meal
So easy and had a prime time which I can never seem to get on normal res apps. So worth it
Got impossible NYC res
instead of waiting weeks I got my 4 charles reservation instantly
Worked perfectly to get into Carbone. So delighted
perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.

Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?

Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
