Crossroad Kitchen is a delightful vegan Italian restaurant
Crossroad Kitchen is a delightful vegan Italian restaurant that exceeded my expectations in every way. I had the pleasure of trying their Eggplant Steak, and it was simply phenomenal. The exterior was perfectly crispy, giving way to a tender interior that mimicked the texture of medium-rare meat. Cutting into it and seeing that pinkness inside was a delightful surprise, and it tasted just as good as it looked! Another highlight of my meal was the Impossible Cigar. It was a delightful surprise, packed with amazing flavors and textures that made it a standout dish. The creativity and execution behind these dishes truly showcase the culinary mastery of the chefs at Crossroad Kitchen. The service was great too! I can't wait to go back and try more items from their menu. The combination of innovative dishes, excellent flavors, and a cozy atmosphere make this restaurant a must-visit for anyone, whether vegan or not. Highly recommended!

It's been a while, since I got excited about an establishment.I was tempering my expectations but the dishes here were very delightful and well executed, particularly the eggplant short rib and the crossroad salad. Service was wonderful, I had such an endearing server named Corey who took me through the tasting menu. There's not much plant based establishments in the strip, and this place certainly a very well deserved addition to the area.

Gotta give credit to Travel Ruby on YouTube for info about the AYCE Vegan Brunch Buffet at Crossroads. The LA locations do not offer this so this was totally worth the road trip. This Vegas location offers brunch buffet on Sundays only from 10am - 2pm for $48. We left LA at 6am and drove straight to Resorts World arriving around 12:30pm. We had a 1pm reservation yet they were able to seat us early upon arrival. Here are the highlights: Vegan Cheeses!!! https://bit.ly/3QgnMI8 This is where I filled up. The cheese plate display alone had one soft cheese and two hard cheeses. Though I don't know all the flavors, one hard cheese was a blue cheese from Climax Foods. In addition to the cheese plate display, there was also Scallion Cream Cheese and Olive Cream Cheese for the bagels. Speaking of bagels, I appreciated that they are thin, cut in half, then sliced. This allowed me to enjoy a small portion. Bagel toppings included Kelp Caviar, Smoked Whitefish made with hearts of palm, and Lox made with thinly sliced carrots. Their thin-sliced game also extended to tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onion. I enjoyed the Caesar Salad and a Cucumber Salad. There may have also been a Mixed Green Salad. The toasty bread with Chickpea Salad was tasty and filling. The pasta station had a Rigatoni with Vodka Sauce and Fusilli with Pesto. Both good but I wanted to save my carbs for the brunchy items. Now for the brunchy-brunch items! Quick summary of what I enjoyed: - Scrambled Eggs - Florentine Benedict (English muffin with Scrambled Eggs and sauce - Fried Chicken - Spicy Maple Syrup - Dip that Fried Chicken in here...Chef's kiss! - French Toast - it was stuffed with something creamy and sweet. - Bacon! Great flavor and a crispy texture. I think this is made with rice paper. Quick summary of what I was mediocre about: - Potatoes. They're good but I'd rather spend my calories elsewhere. - Pancakes. Again, they're good. But I'm generally not a pancake person. I appreciated that they were fluffy and had good flavor. - Waffles. I'm not really a waffle person either but I appreciated the toasty texture. - Sausage. I wasn't a fan. The flavor was mid. I wish they had smaller pieces so I didn't waste an entire link. The fruit assortment was impressive! There were slices of blood orange, dates, grapes, dried cherries, and quince paste. What really caught my attention was Pink Glow Pineapple. I've always been curious about this $17+ pineapple so I was glad to see it included in this buffet. It's pretty to look at but honestly, it tastes just like a regular pineapple. Desserts were delicious! They had Lemon Cake, Lemon Cookie, and Strawberry Cheesecake. My favorite was the Tiramisu. https://bit.ly/3QgEpn8 Overall, mostly hits! Although there are a few things I would personally skip, everything in general tasted good. I would absolutely do this buffet again! Or perhaps, the WeHo location can consider bringing this AYCE Brunch to LA. That would be so awesome! :)

I'm really impressed with the amount of fake meat options they had. My only criticism would be there were some items such as the steak that were just too salty. This is definitely a fine dining experience any vegan/vegetarian should experience!

lol I don't have any pictures of our food somehow, but I do have pictures of us on our way and inside the restaurant! We have been going to crossroads for a long time!! This is our favorite spot for our anniversary, birthdays, and so on. It's not super expensive, but not cheap either. The wait staff is always attentive and kind and informative! Their cocktails are really good, my favorite is the blackberry fields! It's beautiful inside and there's low lights with lots of seating and a gorgeous bar. If you're looking for a vegan fine dining experience, this is the place to go. Even if you aren't vegan, this is some of the best food we have ever had, coming from my nonvegan boyfriend. I'd recommend any pizza or pasta, and we love the Caesar salad, impossible meatballs, and the cheese plate with extra bread is to die for!! Forever our favorite high end restaurant !!
Be the first to ReplyHad a really great time celebrating a friends birthday.
Only she was vegan in the group and we were all super pleased with the cuisine and the presentation as well. The restaurant is pretty fancy inside but fairly causal atmosphere otherwise. Staff is friendly and super knowledgeable and helpful for those of us who are still new to the cuisine. We will be back !!

This was a great plant based meal! Service was great, great recommendations. Would definitely recommend this place even if not vegan
Be the first to ReplyReally disappointed in the Vegas location.
On Saturday April 6, I had a few of the new spring menu items like the spring pea salad and the tortellini, both just disgusting. The spring one was so heavy on celery and everything was ice cold. Nothing fresh or spring just thawed out vegetables. The tortellini brown sauce was thick and cold, and the ricotta inside was just all gross. Finally I had gotten calamari as an appetizer and it was overly seasoned, the breading too thick, it was just like eating breaded salt. I had also ordered truffle potatoes but they never came again as the bartender who was nice enough but too slow, hadn't put them in yet and I needed to leave for a concert. But that's fine - I already had quite enough. So disappointing!!
Be the first to ReplyGreat plant based option in resorts world.
Nice to see this on the strip. Great menu options, great wine list and great bar service
Be the first to ReplyThis is my favorite restaurant on the planet.
I love everything about it. The drinks and wine are yummy. The food is excellent. The vibe is classy. The food is out of this world. The service is amazing. My favorite wine is the Chianti. The blueberry cocktail drink is delish. My favorite appetizers are calamari, cheese plate, caviar, meatballs and Caesar salad. Dinner favorites is the lasagna and truffle pasta. Carmelized onion pizza is so good too. All the dessert with an espresso is so good. Hope who's reading this review loves this place as much as I do :) #1fan

We loved our experience at Crossroads Kitchen! We are not vegan, but we love a chance to eat more vegetables, and appreciate a vegan meal now and then for a change. We started out with a strawberry "feta" appetizer that my husband was blown away by. I had a grapefruit avocado salad. I know it sounds weird, but I was intrigued and NOT disappointed - it was delicious! For our entrees he had an eggplant "short rib" served with a gravy over potato mash. He was worried the texture of the eggplant would ruin it for him, but the taste saved the day and he scarfed it down. I had the butter beans and practically licked my bowl. The last test was dessert. We opted to share the brownie ice cream sundae. It was also delicious! Topped with a coconut whip (good thing I like coconut), I would not have known the ice cream was vegan, though it was a little on the soft-serve side rather than hard scoops. My only disappointment was that the brownie portion amounted to two (yummy) dice-sized pieces. Would have enjoyed a few more! The atmosphere was sophisticated yet friendly, with white table cloths and nice little table lamps at each table that throw a flattering light on your face without obstructing your vision! Very nice experience!

On vacay in Vegas and couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit Crossroads. This is the best vegan meal I've ever had! The wedge salad defies description and the scallopini was out of this world! If you ever get the chance, don't let it pass you by!!
Be the first to ReplyVery overrated.
Mediocre vegan food. Been vegetarian and vegan for 15+ years and there's really amazing vegan restaurants out there (mostly in NY). This place only succeeds because of their marketing. Out server was nice and all, but he seemed rushed. We understand he's busy but we're also paying for an experience. The manager, however, wasn't pleasant at all. He needs to learn customer service skills, especially since his restaurant's overpriced food is so unremarkable. Pizza was soggy with mushy mushrooms on top. And the eggplant dish is so boring. No one wants a giant piece of eggplant with some sauce on it. The side potato was 10x better. Only good dish was the scallop pasta.

I stay at Resorts World twice a month for work ONLY because of CrossRoads. This restaurant is every vegans dream come true. It's so rare that we get to indulge in fine dinning cuisine in such a beautiful and sexy restaurant. I highly recommend ALL the things you can never get as a vegan which includes: Espresso Martini, Caviar, Caesar Salad, Calamari, Truffle pizza, Charcuterie board...I could go on but these are my top recommendations. This is hands down my favorite restaurant in the world. I've been vegan 8+ years and eaten at incredible vegan places in the Bay Area and Southern California...but nothing compared to Crossroads. And it's a fun place to take non vegans...they will be shook over the experience and talking about it to everyone they know cause it truly is mind blowing what they create

Emit was great! Very knowledgeable about all the varieties of food and wine. He took care of us well during our visit at the restaurant. And we were very impressed with the menu from our 5 course meal. Will def recommend for a healthier option of fine dining!

Wow. This place was beyond what I expected! Emmett our waiter was so knowledgeable and took great care of us! We wanted to try EVERYTHING and we needed up going with the 5-Course meal, DELICIOUS! He even managed to convince us to get the wine parings, what a treat before we saw Usher! Please please come and enjoy a healthier option with all the drinking you'll be doing (lol)! GIVE EMMETT A RAISE!

Absolutely loved the whipped feta poached pears toast , Bolognese pasta and the desserts! We're still talking about it. Can't recommended Highly enough and our waiter, David made the experience even better.

Yelp Review 2023 #116:As a person who eats both meat and produce, I was pleasantly surprised by this vegan restaurant. My friend is vegetarian, not vegan and it was her birthday. I'm not sure how a vegan restaurant was selected for the event but I wasn't the one who made the reservation and I'm down to try different places anyway. Crossroads Kitchen is located in Resorts World just past the Famous Foods Street Eats food hall. The nice thing about going to a vegan restaurant is that vegans don't have to say they're vegan outloud. The hostess was nice and brought us to our table even though there was only 2 (out 5) of us in our party that showed up a few minutes early. She said it wasn't busy anyway. Emmett (I think) was our server and he took good care of us. By the bar, there's a lounge with plush seats. The dining area is dimly lit with pictures of musicians on the wall including Elton John and Travis Barker who are supposedly vegans. The menu is simple but it has no descriptions of what each dish is made of. The drinks are also vegan. Who knew wine isn't vegan? I mean what's not vegan about grapes? But I Googled this and found out that during the fining part of winemaking, casein (from milk), fish bladder extract (eeew!) or egg whites are added. They have beers and cocktails that are vegan. The Zombie King IPA was actually delicious.Caviar and Chips:Potato chips with a French onion dip with "caviar" on top. I tried the caviar by itself and the texture is similar to micro boba pearls. It doesn't have that popping sensation of roe or caviar. The French onion dip had some chunks. The chips were really good. 3.5/5Stuffed Zucchini Blossom:In the normal world, squash or zucchini blossoms are stuffed with ricotta cheese. The struggle of making vegan cheese is that nobody has been able to replicate the texture and meltability of cheese. This appetizer is no different. You get 3 blossoms in one order with a side of marinara. We had to get 2 orders 3.5/5Chestnut Foie Gras:I used to eat foie gras until I saw a picture of ducks in small crates being force-fed. I must say this version was much more pleasant than the real thing. It's got that spreadability without the oiliness. It is topped with grapes and walnuts. At the bottom is what seems to be a wine reduction. 4/5Eggplant Short Rib:Delicious and has a nice texture. You couldn't tell it's not meat (well, the non-existence of beef fat would be a hint). 4/5Pasta dishes:I'm putting everything we tried into one category (lasagna, ravioli, scallopini parmesan with spaghetti, Milanese with spaghetti). All wonderful. The ravioli has a strong pungent smell to it but it's good. The texture of the pasta is just slightly softer than al dente. 4/5Vanilla Panna Cotta:What in the food science is this sorcery? How did they make the stiff peaks on the meringue without using egg whites? It has cherries which gives it a nice flavor. 3.5/5Brownie Sundae:The brownie itself was good. But the ice cream has a strong coconut taste. Most vegan ice creams taste like coconut and I'm not a fan. 1/5

Visited Crossroads for a unique dining experience before seeing Katy Perry! Here's the rundown of what we had:- Stuffed zucchini blossoms: wonderful fritters that had a rich "ricotta" that blew my tastebuds away- Eggplant filet: this was wonderful. I've never had beef but expect the consistency of eating it is similar to this dish. What I enjoyed the most was eating the sauce with the whipped potatoes. Eggplant itself was also good, just difficult to cut. -Spicy rigatoni vodka: great level of spice. Dish was rich and creamy and left us wanting more. Our server was fantastic, he gave us all three of these recommendations and it was all great. If you're looking for fine dining that's 100% vegetarian, this place is for you.

Be the first to ReplyLooooooved this Vegan Restaurant inside of Resort World.
I'm not a big fan of Vegan dishes but my husband can't have dairy so it's always best if he orders a vegan dish instead of asking for a modification. I definitely will be back and looking forward to it.
