Lovely breakfast
Weird name for a modern restaurant set in what was originally a bank. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of variety & original dishes as well as the basics. Lovely food & good coffee. We were seated by the door & very quickly realised that the job of those sitting there is to direct people leaving to the exit button for the sliding door! Seriously get an automatic or push door like other cafes have!

stopped here for lunch while the Christmas parade was on. really nice cafe serving some different items on menu than the 'standard' . Very enjoyable food and coffee. friendly staff.
Be the first to ReplyLovely cafe, good breakfast, food and coffee
Saturday morning and we’ve just brunched at Crack, and we’ll probably go back for Sunday breakfast (we’re tourists). Crack is a large, bright, clean cafe. It was packed this morning, so best to book. The staff are friendly, relaxed and very professional. They were happy to accommodate my dietary requirements, and the kitchen got them right. We waited for about 5 minutes for the hot drinks (not bad seeing the cafe was packed). It’s the first cafe in a long time where the staff immediately understood what a ‘piccolo’ is (and got it right). My husband is the coffe snob and he said his piccolo was were (high praise from him). We waited about 10-15 minutes for our food, again not bad. I had avocado and smoked salmon on sourdough toast, fresh, generous portion and the smoked salmon was not too salty. My husband had the poached eggs, getta, avo and smoked salmon on toast. He was very happy with his meal. Highly recommend.

Had the corn fritter egg dish for breakfast. Knives need to be sharper to get through the corn fritter. It was an unusual dish, not bad but not something I would have again . Asked for bottled green juice and was delivered room temp, definitely not acceptable. Salt and pepper shakers need replacing, tried 3 different tables shakers they barely worked.

Really couldn’t enjoy anything about this place. I was keen to try their coffee but after a 25 minute wait for a $5.20 regular lattè I gave up.

Very rude male staff. Came in 20 January 2023 around 12:30pm. Was straight away dismissed to stay outside and waited to be called. Management needs to train staff especially that guy in question on proper hospitality approach.

Ordered the eggs on toast with extras, the bacon was sitting in the middle of the plate in a pool of grease. The bread was so narrow I could barely fit my eggs on it, and to top it all off there was a hair in it 🤢🤢 coffee was good though.

Really innovative breakfast options - good quality and tasty. Great coffee - good tea. Nice decor and ambiance. Great for a leisurely breakfast or brunch. Booking necessary at weekends. Also does takeout drinks - but there might be a wait.

Great food crazy door BOOK Ahead on a Sunday - we just squeaked in. Food was interesting - mango sago with coconut yogurt river mint and aerated honey was delicious, sourdough French toast with caramelised apple my husband ordered was consumed rapidly - must have been good.
Be the first to ReplyVery different breakfast options
Didn’t realise how popular this place is for breakfast. Great vibe. Very different options to choose from. Lots of gluten free.
