My first time here. The free parking is extremely limited and all spots were taken. We were forced to pay $10 for valet, plus tip. The views are beautiful. Service was fine. Food was okay, but nothing to write home about. My real beef with this place

I love coasterra, their grilled chicken is my favorite meal ever. I never stray, though one time I did and the fish à la plancha was good too! Their calamari, guacamole, and ceviche are also standouts. Mario is a fabulous server too! Very attentive

I am writing to share a disappointing experience I had at Coasterra (Harbor Island Dr.) on June 29, 2025 around 2:30pm. My friend and I visited the restaurant intending to enjoy a meal. Upon arrival, we were ignored by three hostesses at the front.

Wonderful view!
We dined at Coasterra shortly before sunset and the view of the San Diego harbor and skyline was wonderful. The food is pricey (around $100 for two) but very good and the service is excellent.
