A very memorable experience
Casa Tua is a high-end restaurant to celebrate a very special occasion. We were 3 couples here on a Friday evening to celebrate 2 anniversaries and the engagement of one very happy couple. We drove here from Boynton Beach which was 1.5 hours through some traffic but it was well-worth the trip. Valet parking was available around the corner for $25 and another self-parking lot for $30. The venue is very private- hidden by a natural fence surrounding the entire perimeter. You enter through a domed gate and walk up 3 small steps with railings on both sides. There you are in the middle of a very charming courtyard where you have the option of eating. Then you walk inside to a lovely lobby of a center hall colonial - rooms on either side of a staircase filled with patrons intimately seated in lovely decorated dining rooms. This is a WOW moment! This is our third time dining at this venue and each time I had the same feeling. We were comfortably seated at a rectangular table. It was quiet enough for us to hear each other speak and enjoy each other’s company. The Waite staff was incredulous - very professional and trained. We ordered a bottle of wine and cocktails to start. It’s the little touches that make the experience so memorable. The ice cube had an embedded heart carved into it. A diverse bread basket was on the table with olive oil for dipping. It was hard to resist. The appetizers were shareable. Some ordered the caprice buratta special. It was luscious. The grilled octopus was amazing as well. The entrees ordered were the Bronzino over some veggies, Prime beef Tenderloin 6 oz filet Mignon with foie gras, shrimp risotto, FETTUCCINE AI FUNGHI Wild Mixed Mushrooms, Black Truffle, Parmesan, Fonduta and the lamb chops. We also ordered a couple of sides, such as spinach and crispy cubed potatoes. All were out of this world! We also had an amazing dessert: a pistachio gelato that swirled up in a high tower. Unreal! We also ordered the cheese platter which offered Parmigiana Refiano, Pecorino, Manchego, Brie, Gorgonzola. Unfortunately, that wasn’t that exciting and the grapes weren’t sweet - somewhat disappointing. The restaurant sent over a TIRAMISU CASA TUA with a candle gratis to celebrate which was a very nice touch. As I said at the beginning of this review, this is not an average run of the mill restaurant. It’s a place to celebrate very special times in our lives. This restaurant will always be memorable in our lives.
Be the first to ReplyWon't be back
The atmosphere was nice the first four minutes we walked in. We were nicely dressed, but my husband and son were handed a bag of "one size fits all" stretchy black pants that HAD to be worn OUTSIDE. My son has autism and didn't understand the need for different pants. He accidently left his belt in the restroom, thankfully some one turned it in. Beat salad $28. won't be back.
Be the first to ReplyThank you Marco for an unforgettable Casa Tua experience!
Absolutely INCREDIBLE experience at Case Tua with MARCO! My family and I came in December to dine at Casa Tua and to celebrate a family birthday. We were absolutely BLOWN AWAY! Not only was the food pure magic, the service was unbelievable. Marco our server was our shining star, as he was not only expertly knowledgeable about the menu, but he was warm and loving towards our family from the moment we sat down. We had the most beautiful table outside, nestled in beautiful palm trees; We were transported! Thank you to Marco and the whole team at Casa Tua who made this experience unforgettable! This is the type of dining experience that you remember for months… years…. So happy Casa Tua is now opening in NYC- will definitely be a regular at the UES location and definitely would recommend Marco for any leadership positions!
Be the first to ReplyThis restaurant doesn’t disappoint
It had been more than eight years ago that we visited this restaurant. We don’t live in Miami, but we remembered how good our experience was, and couldn’t wait to go back. It did not disappoint the ambience, service and food is excellent. We sat outside in the most beautiful garden area. Our meals were excellent and we will definitely return the next time we’re in Miami

The best of the best When we visit from New York we never miss the opportunity to dine at Casa Tua The ambiance The service And The food hard to beat
Be the first to ReplyAn extraordinary restaurant. One of the best in Miami
just could not understand many of the previous reviews, which rated this restaurant so badly. Firstly, the service which from the moment we entered the building, was perfect with a number of welcoming professional receptionists. Although under seasonal pressure (this was days before Christmas) in this multi cover restaurant, fully booked and with diners pouring in… I observed a very professional restaurant in full swing from the moment we arrived. Our main server , Davide ( from Lake Como, Italy ) was excellent, amusing, witty…and his explanation of the specials of the day was so good, I wasn’t even going to bother looking at the menu as I was sold. Unfortunately, the baked turbot special had to be for the whole table and I was the only one who would have chosen it. I still was able to go with the tuna tartare special. This restaurant is lovely, a little reminiscent of a Cipriani restaurant with similar high-prices. However, just as with all of the Cipriani restaurants that we had visited around the world before Jan 1st 2021, Casa Tua delivers. The service, the art on the walls, the comfort, inside, the beautiful and popular outside seating areas, the professional service, the atmosphere and the excellent food (on the expensive side but well worth it for the overall experience) was good value. For example, my tuna tartar was $43, however, at $63, the excellent, perfectly cooked, melt in the mouth Chilean sea bass was certainly good value. The portion size was substantial while the dish was on a par with Nobu pricing. However, unlike many Nobu restaurants Casa Tua is quite unique and highly individual. The outside dining areas which wrap around the restaurant, are inviting and beautiful and remind me of our favourite Italian restaurant off Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. We loved the colour photographs which range from dogs to family scenes on one side of each page in the main menu and also on opening the wine list. What a brilliant idea. There were some lovely pet dog photos. I have never seen this anywhere else in the world. It conjures up an image of the host’s private photo album at a dinner party in a beautiful home. The homely atmosphere continues with the art and photographs on the walls ( I loved the photos of saxophonists and, by our corner table, the 1986 photo of Andy Warhol in a limo with a friend, next to which was an evocative photograph dating back to 1955 of a New York City parking lot overlooked by tenements which is adjacent to a railway line on third Avenue, both by the same photographer...and the general bric-a-brac on the shelves ...the effect is comfortable and homely... and interesting. All of this is extremely well curated with care and great taste. The Branzino fish was excellent as was the Faroe Island Salmon. All of the dishes came together at the right time, unlike at some other restaurants in Miami. Everything was perfectly cooked and of high-quality. The Italian ice cream flavour of the day was coffee which I was told was for the table. I don’t normally eat dairy however, I couldn’t resist having a sample after Davide told me I must just have a taste and that he would bring me just one small scoop. In fact, he had no intention of doing that and instead delivered a huge tower of the most wonderful home-made coffee ice cream, see photo, with the compliments of the restaurant. Just one word about the wine list, which is excellent. Whenever I see Salon champagne and Chateau Ypres on a wine list I know that the Restaurant is serious. The wine list is fantastic although it is a little expensive with the markup expected from two Michelin star restaurants. I would like to see restaurants such as this offer rose/red/white and sparkling wine specials of the day to move some lesser wines by making them more accessible. This would also be profitable for the restaurant. I was very impressed that they also had one of my favourites French rose wines, Chateau Domain OTT available by the glass. It went down extremely well with both courses. This restaurant is so good with such a great choice of wines, that I would not have been surprised to see Chateau Galoupet by the glass. If this restaurant is not familiar with this particular, Provence rosé, then now making them aware of it is my thank you. Inclusion of this wine which is even better than OTT would enhance the wine list while being accessible. I have never recommended wines to a restaurant in a review before however I take it as a challenge to make a contribution to their excellence after they delivered the enormous ice cream surprise They also need to offer Klein Constantia Vin de Constance by the glass (or bottle), from South Africa this is up there with Yqem and Yypres but nowhere the cost. The addition of this dessert wines by the glass would be very special and make one of the world’s best desert wines accessible. One reason the service is so good at Casa Tua is that they have a huge staff of servers. This is an extremely well managed restaurant and credit for this clearly starts from the top downwards, with the most charming Italian lady, Deborah, being in charge of the entire restaurant. Next trip to Miami, we will definitely be returning and next time we will try sitting outside. However, both are excellent. We almost did not reserve a table at this restaurant, having read some of the bar reviews. I really don’t get it. I have no hesitation in giving Casa Tua five stars. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. A brilliant restaurant and such a joy to discover for the first time in the run-up to Christmas with my family in tow. Definitely our best dinner during our two week trip starting in Miami, going on to Panama for Christmas and ending in Mexico City. I would love to know what Deborah thinks of my wine suggestions given the already have Ott and Salon on their wine list...

Nice restaurant, and nice guy davide very kind ! One of the bests rests in Miami, don t sleep to go there
Be the first to ReplyDavide is amazing
Davide was the most amazing waiter!!! Food and ambience was insane!!! Best evening ever!! Thank you thank you thank you
Be the first to ReplyRomantic first rate Italian cuisine.
Overall very romantic. Elegant and upscale interior with a hint of beach home chic. Exterior seating feels secluded and private. Staff is on it. Food is definitely the main draw, sumptuous burratta, lobster linguine were special as well, but what you need to save space for is the Sicilian pistachio ice cream. It comes in two serving sizes and the small one is more than enough for two to share.
Be the first to ReplySimply Delicious food and great quality
BEST ITALIAN IN TOWN Amazing experience ans staff are beyond nice Located in the best area of Miami We loved it so much
Be the first to ReplyKeep your handbag in your lap!
Not even going to comment on the food because before it arrived my handbag was stolen. The manager nonchalantly said “you should be careful, it’s happened before”. What kind of a non-empathetic answer is that? Not until the police arrived and demanded to see video camera footage was it clear that as the waiter served bread on my left, a woman passed behind and grabbed my bag from the chair. Were they in cahoots? I don’t know. Will NOT be back!
Be the first to ReplyWhen bad service happens to good food
Long story short, we had a very sad, bad night here, but we were amongst friends so we were able to laugh it off... until we weren't. We were so excited to go on a gals dinner to Casa Tua and, while the food was good, the staff and service were rude and condescending. We never knew our server b/c we did not have a consistent one. We we were served stale bread and, without apology, did not have our wine or water refilled. We were seated at 8:30PM and did not leave until 12PM b/c no one would bring us a dessert menu, or our check, or just simply check in on us in general. It was truly so appalling I don't think we can ever, in our right minds, go back to Casa Tua whether in Miami or Aspen. There was no remorse, no apologies, just harassment for a tip and signature from the staff. It was gross. For shame! As a review "newbie," I feel strange even writing this review but this restaurant deserves to be audited and rethought as a top establishment in Miami.
Be the first to Replygreat spot with awful service
Everything was perfect, but the service was not. First because they didn't accept my card to pay the service bill, so we asked if we could pay the service taxes in cash, he didn't accept for a dollar! The taxes were 40, and he was so rude to us over one dollar, so we had to take another credit card - which would cost us more than 10% taxes because of it, cause he said he couldn't take a dollar from the service taxes - which is ALL places we CAN CHOOSE how much to pay!! We spent almost 300 dollars in the restaurant and they did such a RUDE thing with us because of a dollar!! It was so embarrassing!

Great evening with my husband and our friends We had very good gourmet Italian dinner Super cocktails Super music Good staff
Be the first to ReplyReally depends on what you are after
The setting, if you are outside, is fantastic, their garden is deservedly famous. The place is packed and dynamic. We we ready for the cons, so we enjoyed the place. The cons are: pretty ridiculous prices (and DEFINITELY ask for the price before ordering a special, many of them are arnd $150) and the food is really just ok, certainly not great. So, if you are not going for a culinary experience, but for the romantic night and people watching, you will be ok. Book well in advance.
Be the first to ReplyExpensive coffee shop
Casa tua has declined 500% in the last year or so, they overbook the place to the point that service is HORRIBLE, i have been coming to Casa Tua for years and have never seen this place like this, you can hear employees complaining about the treatment they receive, Servers are completely lost, barely yoi can understand what they say, employees walk around with the death sign on her faces, whats going on with this place? I have been at the club couple of times since i am friend with the members, its horrible lately, i dont know if the owner changed the managers or whoever is managing the place but Casa Tua is sinking down very fast, the only positive thing is the food, food is still amazing but everything else is horrible, its like a trattoria or a factory where they only care about the money, passion and love is lost.
Be the first to ReplyAverage, overpriced and under serviced
Venue is special, the decor inviting but I’m afraid it all stops there. I specifically reserved indoor table and we were awkwardly shuttled outside. Aside from cold temps which, of course, are beyond control - the food is barely average — presentation + delivery limp. The service is erratic, staff everywhere standing around chatting. Once served, no one bothers to check in on things at table-side. Sommelier enthusiastically up sold an expensive Barolo as bold and big which was anything but, chef audibly screaming in the kitchen — the whole evening was an expensive bust. Having a few earlier lovely visits, something has been lost at Casa Tua, sadly.
Be the first to ReplyWe love Casa Tua
We love Casa Tua in Aspen so had to dine in Miami while we were in town & it did not disappoint. Food was exactly the same as Aspen & was happy to see my favorite drink also on the menu. Beautiful inside & outside but we chose inside since it’s Miami in July and again had a wonderful dinner. They even brought out a complimentary Tiramisu for my bday.
Be the first to ReplyThe best dining experience i’ve ever had
Eating at Casa tua was the highlight of my entire vacation to miami beach. I read on their website that the restaurant was made to feel like you’ve stepped foot in a family/friends home and it was exactly that. The bar tender gave us free shots while we waited for our table outside and was extremely friendly. The scenery was magical, and the food was outstanding. Our waiter bobby was the nicest server and made great conversation and shared interesting background about the restaurant. Although it’s pricey, it’s worth every last cent. 12/10 experience.
Be the first to ReplyPotential venue
Went here with my fiancé to look for a wedding venue. Was greeted by Andrea. I informed her that we were looking for a wedding venue. I asked her if the person in charge of events was present. She told me no. I asked her for information, she handed me a generic card with no name on it. She didn’t offer up any additional information, unless I asked. She acted as if giving me that information was an inconvenience. The restaurant was empty, yet instead of offering us the option of looking around the venue, she stood quiet. I asked to look around, and she obliged. My fiancé was taking pictures for our family, to see if they liked it. Not even a minute later, a tall woman with blonde hair ran around the corner and screamed at us to not take pictures in a very aggressive manner (mind you, the restaurant was EMPTY). She basically pushed us out of the door. We, then, went to a location in bal harbour and have now decided to do it there. This place was very racist. Avoid if you do not like to be treated as if you don’t belong, no matter how you look.
Be the first to ReplyHorrible
Was expecting a fine dining experience. Was most certainly disappointed. Food came out in under 3 minutes and it was barely edible. 2 of us ordered the lobster risotto, and there was no lobster, and it looked like dog food. I got the veal Ossoboco, it smelled horrendous and it appeared to have been cooked in a crock pot. I could not get past the smell to even continue attempting to eat it. The waiter NEVER EVER returned to see how our meals were , otherwise he would have seen 4 untouched plates. For 60-70$ a plate, we left incredibly upset. Disgusting!

Our second time there and always good. Located at the Brickell City Center. Gray service, always a good place to eat when in Miami

The worse expérience ever. So bad service. Food is mediocre. Prices ok as everywhere. My bf ordered a birthday cake with name Anna singing. They said happy birthday Olga. And didn’t say anything for excuse
In general wasn’t satisfied.
Next time we made a reservation in few month, they cancelled it few hours before arriving to the restaurant without saying nothing.
Is terrible. The girl on the phone were so rude, not pleasant. And broke the line
I would never recommend you this place!!!
Disappointing
A really beautiful atmosphere, which was unfortunately the best aspect of visiting this restaurant. The staff were unhelpful and unfriendly, and the food was extremely average and somewhat flavorless.
Be the first to ReplySuper disappointing experience
First the good, and this will be short. Ambience & decor. Lovely.
My husband, daughter and I arrived and were seated right away. We ordered a bottle wine. Service was slow and there were tons of waiters milling around. Upon ordering our 2 courses the water banged a menu into my husband's wine glass soaking him. Full Glass. Red. shirt was soaked. the waiter scurried away, embarrassed , I guess. No apology, nothing. We were flabbergasted. A bus boy came over with some seltzer. We shouldered on. Salads were good, my husband's tuna tartare was tasteless. His bolognase was watery and not flavorful. Other pastas- very al dente but fine. No one ever came over to apologize or bring a replacement glass of wine. We were so disgusted we asked for the bill. they brought us a few free cookies for our trouble. (they probably give everyone cookies). I ordered a limoncello. Even that was added to our bill along with an 18% gratuity. Horrendous and rude. I'd never go back. $500 for 3 people.
