So don't rate this place!!! We visited here Sunday 7th July paid 35 euros for a sun bed under bloody cover!!!! If you think this is going to be an amazing pool party we'll don't you are better off staying round your hotel pool and paying the 15 euros for the CDM party at the evening which you get a drinks token for when u arrive also. In the day, there is just no atmosphere at all bit of music, that's it. Drinks expensive food was nice in resturant. Evening didn't get much better. Fireworks last for 5 mins max. Would not recommend this place one bit. Fair enough of u r staying somewhere with no pool, but if u r stay around, the one you have.
Good food, music too loud!
We went to Cafe del mar for an evening meal. We could not fault the food and really enjoyed it but unfortunately our meal was tainted by the exceptionally loud music blaring throughout. I understand this is a beach club but it would be great if there was a quieter section for customers who just want to enjoy a relaxing meal. We were gutted as the food was so good but we wouldn't return due to the music.
Good location and decent food and cocktails
The location on the coast beside the aquarium is stunning. We booked the luxury cabana beds €150 which is expensive but it was a treat. Food was very good and the selection of drinks and cocktails was impressive. The pool was cold which helped on such a warm day and got a bit boisterous in the later afternoon with people drunk and smoking in the pool. Staff were friendly and you could call them to the beds for service. The ordinary beds looked very crammed in though. It can be expensive but all Cafe Del Mar’s are.
Its good and bad!
The view is fantastic, the beds are comfy. it’s clean, drinks are tasty, food is delicious, no kids in main pool music is chilled these are all the plusses. what I hate the most is that you cant bring your own water and fill it up there, its a basic human right and they make you pay for water its Malta and the company being greedy. Staff friendliness is clearly fake as well. 2 luxury beds, 2 cocktails, 3 cokes, 3 lunches and 4 bottles of water came to about €400.

Cafe Del Mar in Malta is really a notch above the others offered around the world. Service drinks and food were fabulous.
Lovely laid back day out
Staff very friendly and attentive. Food was good. Drinks too… a perfect relaxed and laid back day out, don’t be put off by the negative reviews.. the pool is nowhere near as cold as the sea. Would recommend this place.
Beautiful
We went for a family evening meal and to watch the sunset over the sea. Prior to our visit I requested a table closest to the sea, which they acknowledged. It's a beautiful setting with some of the most delicious food I've tasted. The service was good and waiters friendly, there was some confusion with our drinks which was rectified efficiently. I'd been saving myself for the lobster, but unfortunately they didn't have any on this day, these things happen and overall the service and food couldn't be better! Thank you
Don’t waste your money
We were so excited to visit cafe del mar was the pinnacle of our trip.. sadly it was an utter disaster. Paid in advance €150 the most expensive bed you can buy…got the worst bed furthest away from anything tucked round the corner. Beds are not the same as on the website. The beds keep you shaded all day. On the website it misleads you into thinking you can roll the safe back. You can’t!!! Asked to move was told no. We were freezing and the manager was extremely unhelpful dismissive and rude. Despite that we were looking forward to lunch. The view was lovely so we persevered and had high hopes that we had just had some bad luck. Lunchtime came we were sat at an unmade table then we got our food before our drinks. Service was absolutely shocking food was average. This was suppose to be the highlight of our trip. We were so disappointed. Music was rubbish No atmosphere at all Feel absolutely robbed All beds come with table service you ring a bell and nobody comes. When the waiter finally came he forgot our order had to come back twice to ask for our order Fruit platter was very basic and fruit wasn’t fresh drinks orders took ages. They must have lost so much money everyone was waiting for drinks and pressing the bell. Pool freezing don’t bother Save your money and go to nine lives down the road. Been to many beach clubs over the years and this definitely ranks bottom. Hoping that management see this review and make some drastic changes. What a shame as great locations and lots of staff just very un attentive. Do better cafe del mar over prices and extremely underwhelming. The saving grace was Jordan it was a little too late! But bless him he tried very polite guy. But a little too late unfortunately.
Buzzkill beach club
Not going back. Great views but that doesn’t compensate for sloppy systems, under-resourced management, confused reservations and little value for the money. And the pool was so cold. Traffic to get there. IF one can get the right sunbeds (see “confused reservations”), then one may not be jostled as much or drowned out by noise (even in the VIP area). Food came quickly. Supposedly their Sunday evening party is fun but we didn’t stay long enough (left by 5). I would try a different beach-day approach next time.
THE PLACE TO BE
I WAS A STUDENT IN MALTA FRom 2015-2017 and i had the opportunity to go to café del Mar several times during the summer season that year with my friends from all over the world . As our Maltese Supervisor said we had THE TIME OF OUR LIVES . In fact after our Master exams we needed to relax and have some fun so we went there to club and by chance we attended that night THE FRENCH World Famous DJ BOB SINCLAR who was performing it was simply an unforgettable night . In addition i still remember the drink that i had ( a tasty sex onthe beach cocktail) Café Del Mar is also a place where you can seat and do nothing but admiring the breathtaking view of the swimming pool and the sea at the same time i recommend you go there before the Sunset to enjoy the romantic moment of the view you can dinner too To sum up Café Del Mar is the perfect place for all types of event a person or a company needs
Rennel's wonderful accommodation
Rennel was such a good waiter. He attends to all of our needs in a very pleasing attitude. Warming us with greetings and indulging us by suggesting there best selling foods.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
