Foodie Heaven
This place provided an amazing experience! This little back room in the back of Jaleo (both are owned by the José Andrés Group) seats 12 (maybe 14, I think?) people per seating. When you arrive, they will have you wait at a table and you have the opportunity to order a cocktail (such as one of their excellent gin and tonics). You can chat with your dinner mates as you wait for everyone to arrive. You are then escorted to the room and sat down at bar-style seating surrounding the area where the chefs will prepare your plates in front of you. We opted to get the Spanish wines pairing to go with the food. All in all, there was maybe a dozen small courses - each more fascinating than the next. We had a little fish, a little meat, and some creations that were unheard of (like the tiny PB&J-tasting snacks that were fluffy and made with some crazy "molecular gastronomy" - we even had frozen sangria that looked like Dippin' Dots!). Each plate was a surprise and the chefs were friendly and great about answering questions about the food and how they came up with these things. The whole evening was delightful and, between the food and the wine, I was absolutely full (those little plates add up). Getting a reservation can be difficult - we requested ours through the AmEx concierge service in advance and they were able to get us one. You will spend $$$, but it will be one of the most fun restaurant experiences of your life.

We do not need to say much here. Get here, go here and enjoy the magic that is this experience. Words cannot explain it at all. You must experience the magic, vision and perfection that this is. A bit odd when you first check in and are seated in a main area outside the restaurant. But, everything changes very soon as you are escorted into your private experience. It is not explainable. It took five years of trying to book this and we finally did enjoy it. If you have the means, do not miss the opportunity.
Be the first to ReplyExpensive but worth it
When planning our trip to Las Vegas we knew we wanted to do a tasting menu. The list was narrowed down to the restaurants bearing the name of Jose Andres or Joel Robuchon. Jose won out and we were not disappointed at e by Jose Andres. We had reservations for the 8:30 seating. We were taken to a table to wait for the rest of the people with reservations. This is where we were given our golden tickets. The staff was very attentive from the moment we arrived. They also did a great job of contacting you by email about a week prior to check for food allergies and to ask if any special occasions were being celebrated. We were given our choice of water (still or sparkling) and a glass of wine while we waited. Once everyone arrived we were ushered to our private dining room, that seats nine. The food was unbelievable. We tried counting the courses but become so engrossed in the food that we lost count. The staff was engaging. They explained what we were eating, how to eat it, and answered any questions. Everything is paid for in advance so there is no bill at the end unless you add the wine pairing or order drinks from the menu. A variety of gin and tonic drinks are offered as Mr. Andres has an affinity for a good gin and tonic. A person seating next to me ordered one and said it was the best gin and tonic ever. My advice to getting a reservation is to sign up for email notifications when reservation dates are released three months in advance. If you plan on dining alone, you may be able to get a last minute reservation This is how one of the persons got a reservation.

Outstanding experience, assuming you like this sort of thing. We had the wine flight…highly recommend as the sommelier provides extensive interesting intros to each wine to the group, so if you don’t partake you may feel left out. The wines were an excellent accompaniment to the meal.

Amazing meal and fantastic service. This was definitely a top 10 dining experience. Wine pairings were perfect and every bite was delicious!
Be the first to ReplyBucket List DONE!
Started slow but Dutsin got the show going. Alex the head chef and his "crew" were off the chart! Now understand that this is a 700 to almost a grand dinner. But the show and the flavors are so unbelievably fabulous. It really is like a food concert. Put it on the bucket list and move on. Chef Andres would be proud.

What an amazing experience. From start to finish we were treated like royalty and the food was over the top (pricey…but totally worth it). We ate here once before and it was equally amazing. Highly recommend this experience
Be the first to ReplyA unique dining experience
Hidden in a small room in the back of Jaleo at the Cosmo in Las Vegas is one of the most exclusive dining rooms in town, limited to a seating of 14 people. Diners sit around the kitchen while Jose Andres' chefs prepare an absolutely unique multi-course meal of molecular gastronomy dishes unlike any you would see anywhere else. Although each meticulously prepared dish consists of only one or two bites, we did not leave hungry at the end of our meal. Many of the dishes are described in detail in other reviews, so I won't repeat them here. But if you love unique dining experiences, it is well worth the effort to get a reservation here. We had our anniversary dinner here and it was one of the best meals that we have ever had. Also be sure to include the wine paring.
Be the first to ReplyTHE best foodie experience
I’ve been dining here for a little over 10 years now. Not frequently, but any time I am going to be in Vegas I try to make sure and plan ahead to get reservations. Being a major foodie, I’ve eaten at many of the world’s “best of” restaurants and I have to say, I am impressed every single time I eat at E. The consistency in execution over the years, even with the changing staff, is just a testament to the vision and standards of ownership and management. Every single bite last night was exquisite! I will never get over the “wonder bread” course. The sweet potato gnocchi was a new course for me and it was as stellar as everything else. The wine pairings are also always on point! Many thanks to the staff and management for this, one of the worlds best dining experiences!
Be the first to ReplyAMAZING!!
This restaurant was amazing and was definitely worth the effort to make a reservation. From start to finish, everything worked liked a well oiled machine. I was a little nervous about the sheer number of courses, about 20, when I dined; however, the bite size portions made it easy for us to try very different dishes each course. The Spanish wine pairing was excellent and the food presentation was unparalleled. Thank you for a very special meal and for raising the bar on fine dining!!

We were looking for great food for our first trip to Vegas and this was exceptional. The presentation and service was so thoughtful. In our seating, there were multiple dietary restrictions that were dealt with well. My husband doesn't drink and they offered to create some incredible NA beverages during the evening, and they subbed out the alcoholic components in some of the courses themselves. The food was so interesting, flavorful, and fun. We had the 8:30 seating but didn't get into the room until 9 or so (they seat you otuside presumably while the first seating is finishing) and were there for about 3 hours after that. I did the Spanish wine tasting and it was very nice and spaced out to match a few courses per pour (7 total).

This is an experience! I've done it twice now. It's definitely for the foodie who enjoys molecular gastronomy and a show. The staff is fantastic. One suggestion: carefully consider the wine pairing. There are three levels/choices. On our first visit we chose the middle tier. We were very happy with that choice. For my second visit I took a friend who likes wine but is not a wine enthusiast as I am. (Live in CA wine country.) So for her I chose the level 1 tier and for myself the level 3 (for a steep price). Of course we shared the pairings. There were a few selections in her pairings that I did not care for. But there were some I preferred over mine. I did not think the price of my wine pairing was worth it. Just my opinion.

We had waited several years to reschedule our visit to "e". We all know that getting a reservation, especially if you live in EST, is quite difficult. Do not give up trying as we promise you it is worth the effort!
We were met in the outside area and sat together at a bench and table waiting to be brought into the kitchen. We were provided a nice glass of champagne to start the evening off. We were a group of 4 that was joined by one additional couple. Due to COVID, they reduced the capacity down to 6.
Once we were brought into the kitchen area, the festivities began. There was a divider between our group of 4 and the other couple for added protection. While we were introduced to the 5 member cooking staff for the evening, most of the interaction occurred with the Sommelier Robert and the Head Chef Alex.
All we can say is that the experience was out of this world. While 20 courses (with wine pairing which we would highly recommend) sounds daunting, the portions were largely tapa style small bites. While some dishes might be outside your normal comfort zone, do not skip any.
All the while the preparation is going on, the chefs' are engaging in describing not only what you are going to eat, but the intricate process which goes into the creation.
Robert expertly describes each wine and cocktail you receive and how/why they were chosen to accentuate the meal.
While we could post a copy of the menu we received for the evening, part of the fun is the variety and not knowing what exactly is coming next.
While there are truly hundreds of top restaurants in Vegas to choose from, if you do not go to "e" you are missing out on the top of the top!
Truly the best meal of my life
Know what you're getting into - this intimate experience is small bites tapas in unique preperations. One of the most pleasant suprises was that although the meal was higly technical in creation, the chefs made the meal a casual dialogue and it was very comfortable and fun thoughout. Some dishes are truly one of a kind, and others are perfect executions of high-end ingredients.
Be the first to ReplyUnique for sure, worth trying
The service was impeccable, the chefs (and there were more of them than patrons) enthusiastic, and the atmosphere older but chic.
If you are into food, and foodie meals, then it's worth it. Obviously on the pricey side, but the experience was fun and entertaining and the staff was excited to be there so that helped. They were excited about making and serving the dishes and you could see and taste the enthusiasm and attention to detail. The food was so unique. The flavors bursting in our mouths, and we could really taste what was described. The presentation was awesome as well.
All in all it was well worth it for the experience. Only knock would be (besides the price) was that if I hadn't know what I was a bout to eat it wouldn't be as amazing. The dishes were so unique that its hard to compare to anything I've had before but the dishes that did have "everyday" foods, we great and special but certainly not the best shrimp or steak I ever tasted.
Oh, and the wine pairing was exquisite as well. We don't venture to Spanish wines too much, so it was fun and they paired absolutely amazingly well. That certainly enhanced the experience as well.
Would definitely go back, maybe once every few years.
A must do dining experience A++++
Very late review, we went July 14, 2018. My husband and I absolutely loved this dining experience. Each course was plated beautifully and was a tasting sensation. I loved each and every course and the wine pairings were perfect. This was a very expensive experience but it was worth every penny. The service was amazing and didn’t I mention the food.....wow! It was so fantastic to watch the chefs work their magic.
Be the first to ReplyJose Andres is now one of my favorite people!
What an incredible experience!! The food was phenomenal but, sharing an intimate space with the chefs preparing the food and talking to them made it even more fabulous.
Loved Everything!
Unreal most unique life time dining experience
We visit the Pizza Expo every year in march last year we stayed at the cosmo, I had 7 people in my group but there was only one spot left at e! I made a selfish move to take the Golden ticket on a 18 course culinary journey in the mind of Jose Andres. Literally in his mind was how the private room inside Jaleo is laid out. With library filing cabinets on the walls as if all his recipes where written in them. There was baby doll in a bird cage which I thought was kinda creepy but it's actually had meaning that he's very protective of his daughters and wanting to keep them safe. There is Chalk board behind chefs bar that had a bunch of things written by Jose when him an a friend got drunk when opening the restaurant. The place was very VIP we must have had 12+ chefs preparing each course right in front of us. I don't there was one course that disappointed. I remember a couple of the foie gras tastings to be very memorable one looked like like pb & j sandwich but with truffles & foie gras WOW! And the made an empanada with cotton candy & corn nuts you got one I could have at a dozen. If your a foodie or love the finer things in life this is a journey to go on for sure

Interesting concept, truly hidden within another restaurant and hard to make reservation, a small restaurant focusing on Spanish cuisine with exciting dishes from the region, the service was impeccable, the food is truly delicious and designed to create a truly memorable experience, this restaurant is for the experienced foodies and not for the novice.
Food is well prepared with an emphasis on freshness, execution and to the point.
One of my greatest culinary experience on the strip.
Amazing
