Evening drinks
We are regular clients to the hotel Bar, Restaurant, Cigar Lounge and the Club on lower floor. We usually also sit in the lounge area comfortably for an afternoon coffee or drinks . Today we turned up to be welcomed by one of the most arrogant employee they have ever had, we have said we come often here and we would like to sit in the main lounge area. His response this area only reserved for the clients who are staying at the hotel. Even though the lounge was empty and I have insisted that his colleagues always welcome us there, he was adamant and decided to sit us in a place of his choice. This is appalling for a 5 stars hotel and for a client that comes often here and bring along with him family members and friends, I find it very unpleasant experience and unwelcomed, and the person who really refused us sitting where we liked should really be removed from being customer facing agent.

A amazing hotel. Staff exceptional, location perfect. Our stay was really comfortable and welcoming. Will certainly book again.
Be the first to ReplyGreat stay in a great hotel
This property is fantastic, my stay was awesome, I couldn’t have wanted anymore. The hotel was clean, staff were excellent and the food was exquisite. The Decor was just lush. The location of the hotel was on point too, central to everything, everything I could want, if the hotel couldn’t provide it, I knew it was on my doorstep. I will definitely be staying here again.

My encounters at the Bulgari London presented a mixture of admiration for the hotel's aesthetics and disappointment in the service and overall experience. While the hotel upholds a certain level of luxury expected from the Bulgari brand, the service failed to leave a lasting impression, hovering around the average mark without ever making me feel particularly valued or special. Navigating the hotel, especially the area leading to the pool, proved to be less than comfortable. The corridor was excessively warm, a stark contrast to the cool elegance one might anticipate. The ambiance, characterised by dim lighting and an overarching green hue like eww, out of all colours it wasn't even done right, making the journey to the pool less than inviting and I dont know if I went on the wrong day there was no one there and the pool area felt so weird especially because of the colour tone.. Value for money is a critical aspect of any luxury stay, and unfortunately, Bulgari London did not meet my expectations in this regard. The allure of its name and decor could not compensate for the lack of a welcoming, comfortable environment that justifies its price point. My decision to not return is further cemented by the clientele it seems to attract my visits were met by encounters with rude and loud guests, detracting from the peaceful, luxurious experience I sought. lets not begin with how the rooms looked I got a nice upgrade but the room felt so weird there were things in random places and it wasn't as inviting. people did tell me not to stay at the hotel just use the amenities but I didn't think it would be that bad. The hotel seems to cater more to those deeply integrated into the Bulgari brand culture, perhaps more interested in showcasing their Bulgari pieces than in the quality of their stay so if you have many pieces do give it a try. As someone who felt conspicuously out of place among this crowd, I would advise potential guests to consider how much they value the Bulgari brand experience when deciding to stay here. In summary, Bulgari London, despite its elegant facade and association with the esteemed Bulgari brand, falls short in delivering the exceptional service and comfortable ambiance that justify its premium. For those seeking a memorable luxury hotel experience in London, there are other venues where the service and setting might align more closely with expectations of exclusivity and comfort.

Beautiful and elegant. The service was impeccable and all the staff went above and beyond. The room was comfortable and felt like a home away from home . I have pretty exacting standards and they were all met. Loved the bathroom with its black marble and wet room shower and bath combo. The pillow menu and the sleep tea left each night at turndown as well as the sleep spray for the linens helped insure a good nights sleep . It’s smack dab in the heart of Knightsbridge and Hyde Park is literally across the street. Breakfast was wonderful and I have zero complaints . Thank you Bulgari !!

I went for a personalized massage at the hotel, and it was an extraordinary experience✨ The staff at the front desk and reception desk were very friendly and professional. My therapist, Dalila, was attentive to my needs and remarkably skilled at identifying my pain points without any guidance from me. She focused on the areas that were tense, leaving me feeling incredibly relaxed. The hot stone treatment and scalp massage were absolutely blissful—I think I even dozed off for a good 15 minutes. Before I left, I received some advice that I fully intend to follow. A huge thank you to you; you were incredible 💕
Be the first to ReplyPoorly Managed
Management is lousy. Maids left rags in my room. The manager (forgot his name from Greece) approached me and raised his voice to me. Was abusive and went on some Rant - surprised at this. SO my issue was the cleanliness of the rooms - and the inconsistent /often poor service. The Rooms have Light bleeding in in the mornings.
Be the first to Reply£2300 per night. Is it worth it?
Ever since I have emigrated to London, my friends and viewers have compiled a list of ultra luxury hotels in Europe for me. As if they are not concerned about breaking my bank enough, the Bulgari Paris has always been on the top of that list. Well, since the French Open tickets are still not available and to celebrate my first Chinese new year in Europe, I have stayed in the Bulgari London. Mind you, ever since this luxury goods maker decided to venture out to the hotel business, it has partnered with, who else? The Marriot Bonvoy. However, you would not be able to earn any Marriot Bonvoy points for any stay in the hotel chain, and at a minimum of £1000 per night, it’d better measure up to its price. As I have chosen the Bulgari special package this time, my junior suite booking will have an automatic upgrade to this larger suite called, unsurprisingly, deluxe suite. I have to say I am not a fan of these crimson colour furniture, which as mentioned in my Sofitel Melbourne Vlog four years ago, looks very dated in the 2020s. Considering the hotel was open in 2012, it really needed to up its ante to match the contemporary luxury vibes of its sibling in Paris, which was open in 2021. Facing the busy area of Knightsbridge, I think it will be unrealistic to demand a tranquil environment. That said, being a relatively new building, the windows are sound proof and most of the noises outside are eliminated. For bathroom, I have to say it looks less dated as it is well kept and the dark marble stone they used has proven to be timeless in many luxury hotels. The Bulgari branded toilet amenities is very aromatic and soothing to use. I in particular like the wooden pane floor they used in the shower area, which is a much better alternative than the slippery marble floors. However, there is something I need to show you at the end of the clip that, well, I still can’t decide if that’s a dealbreaker or actually a further education to my fashion sense, so read until the end. Overall, at £2300 pounds per night, I have to say the design of the Mandarin Oriental at Hyde Park is the benchmark. This one, not quite the case even in 2012, not to mention now. Especially for luxury jewellers like Bulgari, shouldn’t I expect something more glamorous or blingy? Alright, let’s talk about the fitness facilities. I have to say the pool has redeemed itself quite well in terms of the bling department. Not only was it beautifully designed, the swimming pool is also big enough for you to have some proper swimming laps. While the water temperature is not heated, it is actually quite nice to swim, and the pool itself is at room temperature, so I have not shivered like I used to be in other hotel’s pools. In any case, you can always use their Jacuzzi like I do. Or you can just lie on the cabana and have a sip of Coca Cola or lime juice. As for the gym, while they don’t have the smith machine, it is well quipped with facilities such as dumb bell , treadmill and strength training machines. It also is quite large for a luxury five star hotel. Occasionally it will be a bit crowded, but its size manage to accommodate such high usage. The Lobby Lounge is cosy lounge and the food is also very decent. While I haven’t tried their afternoon tea, I have tried this beautiful Signature Espresso, and I have to say I haven’t tasted any authentic coffee like this one since I left Sydney. The cream on top has not taken away the smooth and aromatic taste of the cocoa underneath, and you can’t help but think that a good coffee is actually a very Bulgari thing, especially when you are shopping at their stores right? As for the tiramisu, it is also very good, with just the right amount of cocoa and cream. I have also tried the Sette restaurant. I really like the ambience and the cosy environment, and the food was equally beautiful. Every item on their menu seemed to be beautifully made, like this bread basket, the basil in this bread is very refreshing and successfully enhanced the overall taste. While the tomato paste, butter and olive oil are also top notch. For anti pasti I have chosen vitello tonnato. Just immersed this top quality veal into the beautifully made tuna sauce mayonnaise with traces of lime, what a good way to start my dinner. Because there’s something even better, the Lobster Tagliolini. Wow, just wow, with Acquapazza, fresno chilli, tomato and spicy basil breadcrumbs as garnishes, it has created a spicy but not too spicy taste, you know what I mean?, This optimal spiciness has enhanced the taste of the ocean of the lobster meat and the beautifully cooked Tagliolini. A must try item for this restaurant. And what a beautiful way to finish this dinner with this Espresso Budino. An well balanced taste of hazelnut, salted caramel and cocoa, this is just well balanced and indulgent enough for you to just forget about your high cholesterol level, well, for a moment. You might think this is gonna be an expensive dinner, right? But surprisingly it’s not. At £91 service charge inclusive, this is actually quite reasonable for a luxury five star hotel. Well, if you choose the grill on their menu that would be a different story, but with an average price of £40 for main course and £20 pounds for desserts, I think this restaurant is definitely worth trying. As for breakfast, as my stay is included, I can choose their a la carte breakfast free of charge. Both the coffee and breakfast are of high quality. Overall, I don’t think you can fault this hotel as everything from the quality of the room, the service, the facilities and the food are all top notch. But at this price, there’s something I think it’s missing: the wow factor. Especially for this brand which has so much association with over the top extravagance. Everything from the lobby to the rooms to the overall service level, it is decent but makes you think about the price they charged, umm, was it worth it? Which is sad because you know they are not bad at all. However, if I am looking for some classic British style luxury, all those small boutique hotels in London have plenty to offer; for these newly established luxury hotel chains, I really wanted more wow factor to match their brand’s image. That said, I did encounter one odd moment when I stayed in this hotel: Alright, can somebody tell me it is just a fashion statement? Or just a way to match the pattern of the headboard? My friends all said nope, it’s mold, which I’d rather not go there. You be the judge.

Absolutely shocking experience from start to finish, spend your money elsewhere, there are plenty of hotels that are the same price point or even cheaper in London that are significantly better. When we arrived our car was valet parked (as requested), we then realised we had left something in the car so called reception and asked if they could collect the item we left behind, this was not done for the entirety of our stay (despite chasing). We then went for lunch in the bar, we shared a Waygu burger (because there were no other sandwich type options). The burger was burnt and bland. The same night we went for dinner in the restaurant, the bread they bought out before the meal was delicious, however the main course was nothing short of shocking. My girlfriend had fish and a side of roast potatoes, the potatoes were horrific, they had clearly either been reheated 5 times or sat on the hot plate for hours, because they were inedible. The fish was bland and also overcooked. My pasta was very average and no where near in line with the price. On the way back from dinner our room key was not allowing us to go up in the lift, so I went to reception and told them and they said 'this doesn't usually happen' as if to say it was something I was doing wrong. They reset the card and the lift worked, but then we had trouble getting into our room, eventually after going back down to reception we managed to get into the room. The next day we had breakfast, which again was very poor, cold and extremely average and decided to have room service that night because of how bad the restaurant was on the first night. However the room service was even worse, we had a club sandwich which was edible but nothing more, and a ceaser salad, which was literally a bowl full of leaves, 3 or 4 chunks of chicken and an extremely bland 'dressing'. It was laughable at this point. The next morning (not surprisingly) we skipped breakfast and had a couples spa suite experience booked with treatments (£795). The suite was absolutely beautiful, however the fruit that was left was mouldy, and the massage is one of the worst massages I've ever had, the guy who massaged me had dry hands and literally just rubbed my back with absolutely zero technique or strategy, I was left more frustrated than relaxed. We returned from the very poor experience in the spa and had the same problem with our room key, we couldn't get up the lift initially and once we were eventually up we couldn't get into our room. This time, our room lock had totally packed up, so I spent 10 minutes standing in reception half wet in my robe, then another 20 minutes stood outside our room, whilst 5 different people try and get into our room. Eventually they had to get the maintenance guy to take the lock off the room and enter with a physical key. The whole time, not once did anyone apologise to us for the inconvenience (including the General Manager). I complained about the entire stay when I checked out and the Duty Manager (Matteo) dealt with the complaint quite well, he understood our frustration and assured me it would be followed up. Since then Matteo has left (don't blame him), so I had no response to my emails and then I followed up again and got an email from someone else telling me Matteo had left and that he would be picking it up. He told me to leave it with them, and I haven't heard anything in 2 months (despite chasing again). On top of all of this, quite frankly, the rooms are nice enough but absolutely nothing special and in need of a refresh, the lobby is nice enough, the restaurant is nice (if you don't eat), the staff are bang average. But ultimately, to try and classify this place as one of the nicest hotels in London is a farce, it is far from that. I have stayed at 10-15 significantly nicer hotels in London (a lot of the time for a fraction of the price) and I have no doubt there are many more.

I have had experiences in various 5 star hotels around the world and I have always encountered some inattention, be it the cleanliness of the room, the courtesy of the employees, the bed... the Bulgari Hotel in London really pleasantly surprised me. It is perhaps the smallest 5-star hotel in London but the welcome, the courtesy of all the employees really deserves compliments... the friendliness of every single person on the staff... and not only that: the rooms are clean even in the narrowest corners, the bed is a cloud, wide choice of pillows, the room is completely soundproofed.. the position is strategic and you feel like in a big family.. a special greeting to Giuliana, Nico from the lounge digit and Nico at the reception who pampered us 😍

Modern, elegant Tea in Knightsbridge. Impeccable service and presentation from start to finish. Each dish was elegantly presented with wonderful flavors. The champagne course was great. Sandwich’s we’re full of flavor and the desserts decadent.
Be the first to ReplyFirst time back at the Bulgari in 7 years
This is my third time at this property and it pains me to say it’s not the same as it was years ago. Starting off the driver was late to pick us up at the airport. For the prices the hotel charges this is not acceptable. I had to email and call the hotel to find out where the driver was. The hotel is beautiful, clean and everyone is very nice. I just found the service “ cold” it wasn’t personal. We spent part of our honeymoon at this hotel and the butler made it so special. My husband and I love the Bellinis they used to serve at the hotel and everyday at 4 the butler would send some to our room. Little things are what make a 5 star hotel special and I feel this stay was lacking the details.
Be the first to ReplyShort Trip to London at Bulgari Hotel
The Bulgari Hotel is located in an upscale section of London, in the same area as Harrod's. This was our first time staying at this property and we were not disappointed. The hotel was intimate in size with a minimalist vibe. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We had a deluxe room that was well appointed with an extremely comfortable bed, luxurious towels, and Bulgari bath products. The only drawback of the hotel is that most rooms do not have a view. Our room looked at a building across the way. Outside of that, the hotel exceeded our exceptions. We did not eat in the hotel however we did order room service and the food was delivered quickly and was of good quality. I look forward to going back to this hotel sometime in the near future.

My family and I stayed for one week at the Bulgari London. From before the trip until we departed by car to LHR the entire team and staff were simply fantastic. Kostas Sfaltos the overall property manager and director and his entire team were amazing. Every attention to detail from our check in, to organizing activities, car service, and meal planning. Ian Steiger the head concierge and his team should be commended for their commitment to customer service. The cleaning service and room service fantastic. Our rooms so well proportioned and designed for our stay. The lounge and Sette staff treated us like family. I have been fortunate to travel all over the world and stayed an many fine properties. Bulgari was the best.

Stayed her for a special occasion for just one night. We were shown to the room, you need a key to get up in the lifts to the floor you are staying in. The corridors were of dark interiors - not to everyone's taste. But they were clean and tidy and recently a new carpet. We had room service to our room, there was a mini bar, and coffee making facilities. We were offered a coffee on arrival which we accepted but had to pay for this. Knowing this we would have not bothered. The room had a TV and a large bath, and shower. Shower gel, shampoo ect were provided. Dressing gowns, towels and robes. Hair dryer in room, with plug in wardrobe. Lights came on when the wardrobe doors opened. There was a temperature control in the room. Separate toilet to bath and shower which is nice. we had breakfast the next morning in the restaurant, which was included. We used the spa, which was nice although there is separate female and male sauna / steam room. So if you go with your partner not sure you can use these together? A large pool and padded seats. The vitality pool has missing mosaics in lots of places which is poor for a 5* hotel. Everyone seemed to be nice and helpful. We used the car parking service also. Which everyone seemed helpful and the room and overall hotel was clean and smelt lovely. The location of the hotel is great for hyde park and knighsbridge. If you wish to use the tube there is also a near by station.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing. Not synonymous with luxury and service you’d expect from the brand.
The hotel is relatively small. Top 2 floors are private residences. This isn’t necessarily a downside (there are some beautiful boutique hotels) but it is an issue when you feel the hotel has a lower service and quality as a result. Perhaps it is running at a lower capacity due to the effects of COVID but I do feel, if this is the case, then it should be made clear before booking and the price should reflect this. No outdoor spaces for dining or drinks. Interior is dark and moody. Perfect if it’s reflected in the weather outside but can feel claustrophobic if it’s a sunny day and there’s no where to enjoy it. Restaurant was closed - disappointing they are charging 855 a night when their only restaurant is closed and no mention of this when discussing the reservation on the phone the night before. Had I been aware of this, I wouldn’t have booked this hotel. Bar was nice but compact. lounge area was full when we arrived with non guests, who were very very loud. The staff apologised when they left, but I felt more could have been done to ask them to quieten down or leave. The main dining area of the bar was in darkness and empty but given it was the only available space we were seated in that area on the edge. Obv due to this it lacked atmosphere and was far from ideal. I feel more should be done to reserve some tables for guests of the hotel. In the bar I was served a peach Bellini when I had asked for a passion fruit Bellini. The first time I put it down to miscommunication, but the second time we had a discussion about it and I clarified it was passion fruit I wanted, so when they gave me peach again with no explanation, I sent it back. A simple, we don’t have passion fruit in stock would have sufficed. When asking about whether Zumba (local sushi restaurant) would deliver to the hotel, reception said, very kindly, ‘I don’t know, they were delivering during lockdown. You’d need to give them a call’. I’d expect for 875 a night thr hotel to assist me with simple requests such as this. Downside of room. Beds not comfortable at all- had 2 queen beds in the room and both dipped in towards the middle. As one guest previously pointed out, there is an odd clicking noise in the rooms. They are so quite other than that, with no sound from outside at all, so it’s a shame the silence is broken by this intermittent but incessant click. No plug socket near a mirror so not idea when doing your hair. I used the reflection of the tv. No tea making facilities in the room. Has to be requested and they then bring up kettle, tea bags etc. Positives The pool was beautiful. It really does live up to the expectations. Huge pool, great vitality pool and comfortable lounge beds around the pool. Bear in mind timings for children are limited to 8-10am and 4-6pm. The location is fantastic. 5 minutes walk from both Harrods and Harvey Nichols and Hyde park is close by. The room is large and spacious for London. Beautiful bathroom. The bar is beautifully decorated and the snacks were Delicious. Well done to the chef. Valet parking was great in such a prime location. Mandarin orientalist and corinthia (Corinthia in comparison, is in a totally different league in terms of the hotel as a whole the rooms and impeccable service). were both fully booked and I had always wanted to stay here, to experience the legendary spa, but can’t see us returning unless changes were made. It positions itself as a high end establishment, but it simply doesn’t live up to the name. The general impression was very disappointing and would not recommend. (Note - quite a few of the reviews are from people coming her to experience the bar and not staying guests)

This hotels location is perfect. Right next to Hyde Park and Harrods. The rooms are very clean and modern and the service from the staff was incredible. We stayed a few years back before the pandemic and made my stay in London very memorable. It is very welcoming compared to the Mandarin Oriental hotel down the road where we constantly felt like we were judged and couldn't relax.
Be the first to ReplySpa - terrible experience
I booked a light massage and scrub for myself and massage for my fiancé. I made the booking in person with the spa manager and mentioned it would be the day before our wedding and that I’m in my first trimester of pregnancy. On arrival I disclosed twice that I was pregnant. I then used the facilities for an hour. I was taken up to my treatment and mentioned again that I was pregnant. The practitioner asked me to put on disposable underwear and lie face down on the bed. She came back a few minutes later to tell me they couldn’t do the treatment because I was pregnant. Extremely bad customer experience… they had multiple opportunities to tell me before letting it get that far and many ways to alter the treatment to reduce any risk they perceived.

The Bulgari Hotel Bar has always been one of my favourites. Stylish, modern design but always with a great atmosphere. A large variety of cocktails, prices are premium but I would expect that at a five star hotel like the Bulgari. Superb service & staff very attentive.
