No matter what meal, this place will not disappoint!!! It is all yummy!!!
We wanted to make sure we arrived before breakfast ended, as we we had only had lunch there...which, of course, was very good. Arriving, just in time, for breakfast or lunch, we enjoyed one of each. I had a yummy omelet, that was large & full of everything I ordered...plus, the sourdough toast...plus, the Rhubarb pie, was one of the best!!! Mom enjoyed their Swiss Steak special w/mashed potatoes...& Black Raspberry Cream pie...all was just suberb!!! And, Marilyn, our server, was amazing!!! Very attentive & friendly, & could not have been better! Thank you so much!!!

Pretty basic, Many locals so you know the food is good. The pies looked AMAZING and my desire to survive diabetes almost lost to my desire to try them all. They only take cash and checks. But

Our party of 3 enjoyed the hot roast beef and mashed potatoes, a hot ham and cheese sandwich on sourdough, curly fries, and a pancake, bacon, and scrambled eggs. The food was delicious and plentiful. For us, the only downsides were the location of our table (felt like we were in everyone’s way (table is near drink station)), the iced tea isn’t home brewed (Brisk tea from a fountain) and they only take cash and checks. None of these things would stop us from visiting again though. Parking is behind the building.

We had to try this place because there was a line to get in whenever we went by. It’s tiny inside with a lot of workers but they do a great job moving people in and out. Our food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Give it a try and don’t be deterred by the line as it moves quickly.

Everyone and everything is Top Notch Always busy you might have to wait in line. Once you get seated you’ll be glad you waited!

We have been to this restaurant several times and have always had good service. This past week when we went to eat we were seated in the corner . The waitress was a older woman and if she would crack a smile I would of fell of my chair. I never received my soft drink after asking her several times. She was more interested in talking to another couple for some time. Very disappointed
Be the first to ReplyGreat little restaurant with wonderful food and terrific service!!!
We stopped here after seeing a show at the Encore theater. There were four if us. We had a ham dinner, Roastbeef dinner and two Lite meals. They were fabulous! We had coleslaw, dressing and mashed potatoes as our sides. Deanna, our waitress, suggested horseradish for my ham. I tried it! Wow, their home made horseradish on the ham was amazing!!! Deanna was so kind and prompt also!!! We will definitely go there again!!!!

Best breakfast in town, hands down. Friendly staff, good food, 99 cent coffee. WHO does 99 cent coffee anymore. Not one day, but every day. 3 egg omelet big enough to share. Full of local people. So you know it is a good deal. If you want the best food for your money, follow the locals.

Very popular restaurant with variety of items on the menu. Two of our party ordered the chicken salad sandwich which was the special. You had the choice of several different breads for the sandwich. I preferred the sour dough which came toasted. There was an ample amount of chicken salad on the sandwich and was very good. The other person ordered a salad which she liked. Since the restaurant was crowded with people waiting to get in we felt a bit rushed to eat our meal. The restaurant was one of a few that was open on a Sunday. One comment on the service, it was great. Our server promptly took our order and brought our beverages and kept them serviced. Parking can be an issue and the restaurant only accepts cash or checks no credit or debit cards. In this day and age that is a major inconvenience to customers. I talked to people in line that like most had to leave together cash from an ATM although one was tucked away in a nook in the entrance.
Be the first to ReplyWorth the Wait, but don’t go too late
Worth the wait. Went about 630 on a Saturday evening and there wasn’t much of a wait. But they were out of many things. No more Prime Rib, Chicken, Ham, Baked potatoes and several pies; so you might want to get there earlier. Service was great. Had the Country Fried Steak and it was very good, but served with brown gravy. That may be a regional difference, but I was expecting white gravy. Mashed potatoes were the best of this road trip. I would trade the noodles for a salad or double mashed potatoes as they were meh. Really wanted to try the pecan pie, but it was unavailable. I’d definitely come back.

Breakfast was amazing. 3 egg omelet loaded with fresh bacon, sausage and ham. Friendly and will be back. Worth the wait in line
Be the first to ReplyFood was VERY good
The food was excellent. The service was a little slow but it didnt bother us we were not in hurry. Its a busy resturant. It has a good atmosphere. I cant say enough about the food. I wanted the chicken alfredo but they were out I had the roast beef sandwich instead, so good. I'm glad they were out of the other. Everything we ate was wonderful. They only take cash. I would highly recommend.

We so lucked out on the day we visited. Usually, the line is long to get seated. We waited only a couple minutes to be escorted to our table. Service with a smile! I ordered their chicken dinner, which included 3 pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. My husband ordered their cheeseburger along with a bowl of chicken noodle soup. We were too full to order from a plethra of homemade desserts.

You knew you were in Amish Country. Excellent pies, great service. Loved the atmosphere and the ladies were awesome. I do question whether some of the items on the menu were homemade, something I expect going into an Amish restaurant.

Is really good food good atmosphere Is and good service. They have really good specials You don't expect a really good taco salad but but they have 1 it's 1 of their specials It's served on Thursday Is they even have a special dressing is dressing for the salad. They have over 20 pies to choose from. A old building with not a lot of bells and whistles but the home town charm says it all. It is so nice to have a great place that you will find locals as well as tourists. The staff makes you feel like you are at home. Don't forget the pie.

It is a small diner with parking in the back. The main thing to know before going is that it is cash only. They do have an ATM out front that you can use to get cash. Our server, Ruth, was very kind. I was excited to see liver and onions on the menu because it’s not something that I see often. My food was delicious. My husband got a Boyd Burger and chili and said that both were really good. We bought dessert to take back to the hotel with us and the pieces are huge! We would definitely eat here again!

First time here. Looks small but step in to be surprised. Our waitress, Wilma, was great! The food was delicious. The homemade pies were delicious.

We heard a lot about this restaurant and therefore had very high expectations. I must say, all expectations were met or exceeded. I was fortunate to be there on Wednesday when Meatloaf was a special. It was excellent. Very friendly, extremely fast considering how busy it was. Do not let the line discourage you. It is worth it! We sat at the counter and was able to observe the amazing efficiency. Love 💘 this place.

Small town diner with good food, great desserts, and friendly staff. If you in the area and you want some good food you know was made in-house, try this place.

Not very many main Restaurants around this area of Berlin Town Square. I had the Roast Beef which I thought was excellent, but my wife's Broasted Chicken did not compare to Der Dutchman
