I was on vacation for 2 weeks in California and had 14 x different Americano coffees to start each day. The one served here by a competent barrister was the stand out coffee. The cake was decent too. Nice calm place with plenty of space and a nice vibe.

Cannot say enough great things about Cornell's amazing customer service @ the SF boutique & how informative he was. I had a Nepresso machine that was not working, if it was not for him and the great information he shared with me I would have never of known I could get 35% off on a new machine. I went back to see him and he was so patient in helping me pick a new machine. Thank you Cornell for your amazing customer service.

Went into Nespresso to make a return of a machine we got for Christmas that was not working properly, we were greeted by Jacob who was simply amazing he offered to take care of us, return the item without hesitation and he was very gracious to let us use his codes to apply a discount since we had to drive 60 miles round trip return the machine, we bought a new machine and to tell you the truth we really never intended to buy another one but Jacob was so wonderful that it was hard to leave without marking another purchase. The company should really recognizes a young man who finds a way to say yes to customers and truly goes out of his way to make us feel special, i was so impressed with this young man that i will surely be back again to your store! Simply Said he was wonderful and deserves to be recognized from your corporate headquarters. Thank you Jacob for being so wonderful, keep up the great customer service, i will be sure to recommend you personally to friends and family in the future! J

My visit this year was a complete 180 from last year! Perhaps it was because I stopped in when they first opened, or perhaps it was just wonderful customer service from Grace. I was offered samples to try, which is important for me because I don't live by a Nespresso store. Yes, I planned to buy, but sometimes I want to try new things before making the plunge because these pods aren't that cheap. I ended up with 8 sleeves and Grace patiently answered all my questions while also not rushing me out of the store.

Beautiful boutique! A little unorganized in terms of lining up to check out but the store is clean and bright with a good selection. Small coffee bar with drinks in the $3 to $7 range. I came in November looking for the advent calendar and they had a few in stock.

Walked in with the hope to get new flavors to try for my Vertuo Plus. There was just one person being helped, so I waited around, looking at the displays. Then 2 more people came in and the staff tended to them. Figured I was being ignored, so I walked out. Disappointed.

Do NOT waste your time coming to this hole in the wall! It's seriously the WORST location and once you're inside it's even more disappointing. I've been a Nespresso lover for about 20 years after being introduced to it in Paris. I know this brand very well. Back in the day when calling customer service you would reach an office in San Francisco. They were kind, respectful and really helpful. Now with all their popularity and growth, those special attributes are long gone. So is the level of quality employees in store! In particular, the Manager Kelly would be more suited working where she wouldn't have to interact with people. She's is rude and has an awful demeanor. The stunning boutique that used to be on Grant was so wonderful as were the staff. Kelly, this manager would not have fit in well there. They have hired the bottom of the barrel to work at this boutique. I'm really surprised Nespresso would have her representing them. I'll be ordering online only from now on.

The first time was fantastic. Paul the store manager waited on me. Taught me so many things. The second time, I got a new young guy who was not friendly nor helpful. He seemed very tired because he had to rest his head on his hand on the counter. Really? it felt very disrespectful and he was so adamant that he was right about the answer to my question. I finally cut him off and told him to get the manager. Paul was off but this manager was very helpful and kind. SO over all, I don't know if some of the people who gave poor service to other reviewers are not there anymore, but I would definitely give it a try. They also have a tasting area where they taste 1 or 2 coffees, and a barista bar.

.. extremely rude and unhelpful customer service. I came in with my mom just to browse for our nespresso. Were from Orange County so we thought it would be nice to see this nespresso location. We were sat down and told not to put our bags on the table by security... it's a coffee table. Other than that the overrated sweets were not worth it. We were stared at like Martians, never will be returning!

The tone of his voice is pretty rude. Nespresso I know since the Brand was only in Paris always been great customer service. Only this time I received ugly customer service person. I think his initial name is N or L ending with N.

Wasn't sure what happened there today but the customer service experience needed some improvement. I've been in multiple locations (Palo Alto & Santa Clara) and always had positive experience but today I decided to buy everything in store and not order online to pick it up at the store. I was there around 5:20pm on Sunday and the staff seemed tired. I was browsing their selection for a while and by the time I was ready to order I got in the waiting line. The lady in front of me was complaining about the store not having any change for her since she was paying with cash. Then, they had an argument and the lady asked for the management phone. I was patiently waiting in line when another person enters the store and Nespresso team member approaches her to help her. Are you guys serious? I was patiently waiting to checkout in line and you let someone get in front of me. Not coming back to SF location store.

Most will offer samples of new products, which is helpful since I don't live by a store. At more than $8 a sleeve, it's helpful to try something for free before taking the plunge and purchasing. No samples the first day we went in, as they had closed up two minutes before we came in. Today, we were chased away like we were riff raff. I probably would have purchased some more product...But apparently my money was not wanted. The other day when I made my purchase, I was given take home samples of decaf---barf!!

.. this is the second time I've gone in to the store to purchase pods and they messed up my order. After I had already gone home 200 miles away from the store I saw they charge me for more then what I asked for and did not give me all my items or the additional items they charged me for. I called the direct line and was told in order for me to get a refund I had to go into the store. Unfortunately it isn't an easy trip for me to just head over.

Sadly, this is a far cry from the Nespresso Boutique & cafe that used to be on Grant Avenue. That one you really felt like you were in the experience: you could see all the machines, there was a really elegant wall where you could see all of the options, there was a video playing, and upstairs was one of the best cafe's in downtown. Now, I just feel bad for the employees here: it's a cramped, dark, disjointed, stressed out little store that seems badly laid out, where the coffee is stored in the back and they have to check the order about three times to confirm, with zero style. The couple of times I went in I felt like I was buying a used car where I had to negotiate the price then wait for the mystery person in the back room to try to upsell me on seat protection. I buy my pods at Nordstroms now, no point in going into this shop. It's not a boutique - it's barely a storefront. BTW: Nespresso competitor Illy Cafe has opened a glorious store and cafe a few blocks away, that's where I get coffee when I am in downtown. They could do so much better.

The barrista is more interested in the conversation with security than a friendly response if the bar is closed for the day or will it reopen later. Based on her response, doesn't look like they even know when. She said maybe in hour but hesitated. I went to purchase coffee sleeves and that was a great experience, but will be doing this online going forward.

Can I give zero stars for this location? I walked in the store with my fiancé and daughter to look around and learn more about Nespresso since we just purchased one about a month ago. Upon walking in, we noticed they had a coffee bar and the sales associates were with other customers. We decided we will wait until someone is available. We over hear the associates speaking to the customers asking about how they like their coffee intensity and preferences to help them make a decision. So we were more interested to learn more when it became our turn to speak with someone. It took over 10 minutes to get greeted. We ordered 2 iced coffees in the meantime. A associate walks right past us not saying anything.. the other associates were now free.. so we waited to be assisted.. then after 5 min we were asked have you been helped... knowing damn well we had just been standing there waiting so I said no we haven't we have been standing here for over 15 minutes now... the associate who walked past us the first time then comes back and says oh I'll help... oh now you see us standing here? The associate did not want to interact with us at all, all she said was what do you want to purchase... I said not sure we are new to having a Nespresso and wanted to learn more about everything... it was CRICKETS! they said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HELPFUL AT ALL. She didn't ask coffee preferences or give recommendations. My fiancé asked about a coffee ... she wasn't paying attention to us and she replied "what did you say"...My fiancé said never mind I'll just buy this one... and that was the only box we purchased. The associate walks over out the box on the counter and said thank you. As we walked out the security woman by there door was the ONLY nice person there who opened the door for us as we pushed the stroller out. I am completely disgusted with the customer service and how we were treated.

I went in to get some pods and the moment I got in, the cashier was asking me which pods I wanted and was being impatient. He didn't even give me time to look at the selection. There were also no other customers, so he had no reason to rush me.
