Saturday Brunch
Amazing food, lovely decor and friendly waiting staff. We have eaten here before and absolutely loved the experience. We visited again on Saturday and were not disappointed.
Be the first to ReplyA superb family celebratory lunch, with excellent food, in a relaxed atmosphere.
We had a wonderful buffet lunch at the Bombay Brasserie last Sunday. We were celebrating 3 family birthdays here for the second year running and found the food and service to be consistently excellent, and the relaxed ambience makes it a perfect place for a celebration of mixed ages . The choice of food is perfect for both young children and adults, and the 6 year old loved his birthday candle! Thank you.

Delicious food , lovely atmosphere and service. Huge succulent prawns ( a little expensive but market forces ). Always delicious here
Be the first to ReplyGood Indian food
Upscale Indian restaurant with delicious and pretty authentic Indian food. Plenty of vegetarian choices, friendly staff. I'd go back
Be the first to ReplySumptuous and worth every penny
I had an exceptional experience. Every part was exemplary. The food is out of this world and the service is attentive and helpful. Highly recommended
Be the first to ReplyQuality good, but small portions and expensive
It was OK but not outstanding. Service was very good - attentive without being intrusive. Two diners were veggie, and there was a reasonable choice (though maybe not as much as some Indian restaurants). Although the portion sizes were ok for me personally, as I have a small appetite, I don't think just a main dish would satisfy a hungry guy - would need a starter and some sides. Also, the prices are quite high, even for central London. However, the quality was good. What spoilt the evening a bit was the fact that last orders are strictly 9 pm (isn't that a bit early for central London - I think 9:30 is more normal?) Two diners arrived 8:50 having had a 2.5 hour journey - so it was all a bit rushed and we did feel a bit pressured to order and get out by 10 pm - I think we were the last ones left by then,
Be the first to ReplyVery good, authentic food.
Super yummy! I’ve been coming to Bombay Brasserie for over a decade. I find the food to be very good and the service is warm. They offer authentic Indian beer choices and provide attentive service. I’ll go back for another 10 years!
Be the first to ReplyGood Indian food
The food was wonderful full of flavour. The customer service was excellent, but I think the meal was overpriced for what we got.
Be the first to ReplyCan I get you your bill
The food was ok not brilliant BUT the biggest problem was that the team were watching you like a hawk and as soon as you finish they would jump on you to cross sell. After having the desert, the waiter came over and said ' can I get you anything else' we said no thanks, the waiter said 'well can I get you the bill' !!!! I beg your pardon! we have never had the waiter offering the bill lol - won't be going back again. Also the place is well over priced.
Be the first to ReplyBest Indian restaurant in London
Fantastic food and service. This is easily the best Indian restaurant in London in my opinion. This is my ‘go to’ restaurant whenever I’m in London for business or pleasure.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent.
Found it by chance. What a pleasant surprise . Very friendly staff with great food. A bit on the expensive side but no complaints.
Be the first to ReplyPoor service. Gone downhill
Booked with my family this Sunday for weekend brunch buffet. The service from the moment we walked in was extremely slow. I had to ask twice for our drinks. And when we wanted to order more water it was hard to find a staff member to help. When we were shown to our table there was no explanation of the buffet. For instance half way through our mains I noticed other tables ordering fresh naans to their table and only then asked for the same. By which time one of my sons had finished his mains. I am vegetarian so for me the food selection in the buffet was great. The food was tasty. However in mains there was only chicken and lamb byrani for non veg. For my husband and x2 sons this was an extremely poor selection particularly when we are charged £48 per head. The decor of the restaurant is beautiful particularly in the reception area - very old india. When I asked several staff to explain when the historic Indian pictures were from their response was ‘I have no idea’. Not even an offer to find out nor any interest. In fact that sums up the staff in our whole time there…..a complete lack of interest and engagement. Such a shame as we have fond memories of this restaurant and the food quality is good. But let down severely by the service.
Be the first to ReplyNew Year’s Eve Buffet - Nice but not Spectacular
We went to the ‘old lady’ of curry houses for a family New Year’s Eve Buffet. We were all excited with the concept and looking forward to a splendid banquet but sadly it did not quite live up to expectations. The food was generally good but not outstanding and service not quite as sharp as previous visits. It is a few years since I have been to the Bombay and I think it is becoming a bit of a fading jewel. Food wise it has been overtaken by a margin by the likes of Benares and Co. The decor needs a refurb and it seems to have lost a bit of its sparkle. An enjoyable meal for 4 but was it worth nearly £550 - no !
Be the first to ReplyMediocre Dining Experience
Although the place was only half full, there was a lot of fuss on finding a reservation. Ultimately they found it. The place is airy and spacious with a colonial feel to it. Service was attentive and efficient. The food was overall mediocre, but the kulfi was liked by everyone in the family. Also the chutney was perfect. But the garlic nam may never have seen any garlic and the mango curry was more a soup with half cooked mango fruit. We recently visited Bombay brasserie in Dubai (in Taj Hotel) , which excelled in food flavours, whereas the London sister restaurant looks pale in comparison. We will not come again.
Be the first to ReplyLast time I go to Bombay Brasserie
Went last night. Ignorant and unsympathetic staff, a decent table refused as I was told the place was fully booked when it clearly wasn't, the doors to the terrace opened wide at one point letting in a blast of freezing cold air and the staff looking mildly bemused when I told them to close them, two pretty indifferent tandoori prawns followed by equally indifferent tandoori chickens, one of the cheapest wines on the menu and the bill unbelievably came to £217. I shall never go this restaurant - once very good - again.
Be the first to ReplyOne of the worst curries ever
I'm ex-restaurant owner and a lover of my traditional Indian cuisine, a friend had suggested we should try the Bombay Brasserie and I can say hand on my heart it was one of the worst I've ever had. The restaurant, ambience, setting and service are magnificent.... but the cuisine is joke, tasteless, poorly made and the ambience and grandeur of the restaurant cannot cover it.
Be the first to ReplyThe weekend buffet feels like a scam now!
Despite being my ultimate favorite place for buffet lunch, i am feeling robbed and cheated after my visit yesterday. The prices not only increased from £35pp to £48pp, the quality, variety and taste has gone downhill. For vegetarians, I'm sure there are better suited places out there where we get better value for our money. The starters were not only scanty but there was no hot starter for vegetarians except the dismal mogo chips. All other ones were salady type chaat starters. The mains were also lackluster- no veg biryani. All other curries lacked any wow factor, service was abysmal. The bread basket was brought to the table when we were still eating starters. Nobody asked if we wanted any drinks- they weren't great either. Desserts were average too. There was a time when i used to get really excited about the prospect of going for a brunch in BB but after yesterday's experience i know its going to be a waste of money. I'm not going there again. I'd much rather prefer thali experience at Veeraswamy.

Very hospitable staff..excellent service by Binny we didn’t had reservation but Binny didn’t disappoint us
Be the first to ReplyLovely dinner
ad a nice dinner at Bombay Brasserie tonight. Both the inside and outside of the restaurant are beautiful. We ate outside and it was absolutely perfect. Service is excellent. Everyone is helpful and friendly and food came out quickly. Food was very good for the most part. I highly recommend the potatoes, chana masala, and the biryani. We ordered so much more but I didn't try everything due to my picky eating habits. Overall I'd give Bombay Brasserie a 4.5/5...we'll definitely return.
Be the first to ReplyOverall amazing other than staff service
Revisited to enjoy fantastic weekend buffet (£45 per head) during my stay in London. Overall food was fabulous and lived up to my expectation, also I was comfortable with great ambience, however staff service could be better.
Be the first to ReplyFinally here after a 20 year wait!
Just like Mick said it would be! Great food. No … the best ever Indian food experience ever! From the ever so delicate papadans to the cheesecake finale, there’s none better. The restaurant is cavernous yet packed as we were leaving so you better reserve ahead. We’ll soon be back for a bit of shopping in town and dinner at the Bombay!
Be the first to ReplySaturday Brunch
Had a Birthday celebration at the Saturday brunch for my 90 year old father and we all had a very great time and were very well looked after by all the managerial staff (Mr Diego and Mr Bernado) and their team of staff who always had a smile on their faces and no request was too much for them to be fulfilled Great catering for all members who had special dietary requirements as well All in all we really had a great time and looking forward to go again soon Well done to all the staff for making my father's birthday celebration a day for him to enjoy and remember Thanks from all of us
Be the first to ReplyWonderful, leisurely tasting menu experience
We made a reservation for 6:30 and left about 9 - we ordered one of the tasting menu options and our waiter (and all the other wait staff) were wonderful. They really encouraged us to enjoy our meal at our own pace and enjoy the evening. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed the whole evening just relaxing and chatting. We recommend it to anyone who is looking to really unwind after a long day in London.
Be the first to ReplyNo recommendation at all!
I love indian food, I had mainly a great experience with indian restaurants in London.... but it is my first-bad! I order a chicken biryiani- i was light warm! Ther was not much masala spices what I love and what makes it delicious but it was a very bad biryiani! My friend ordered a Lamb- it was very good! Service- chaotic and slowly or thay have to less peopke there. For this price not hot and no orginal food I have to make this negative recomendation.
Be the first to ReplyExceptional food beautiful venue
We were a large group of 30 people which can be difficult for restaurants However we had an excellent meal with courteous but not intrusive service The food needs a cookbook- every dish was aromatic
