Great meal at Blue Ribbon! It was Happy Hour and the cocktails were a good deal! We had sashimi and hamachi jalapeño for starters and the fish was fresh and tasty. We shared an oxtail and bone marrow fried rice and sea bass for the main entrees. The fried rice had the bone marrow omelette on top and it was hot and delicious! The sea bass was lightly steamed and melted in your mouth. We were celebrating a birthday and the restaurant was gracious enough to give us a dessert on the house!

Whenever my husband and I are in town, Blue Ribbon is our fine dining away from home. The ambient is very inviting. The staffs always greets you as you walk in, and they are very professional. The food is great from appetizer to dessert. We love their Shishito Peppers. You will get a variety when ordering Sashimi Deluxe and/or Sushi-Sashimi Combination. It's fresh and good! We highly recommend this establishment!
Be the first to ReplyFull disclosure, I haven't been here since they opened.
After they closed blue ribbon fried chicken at downtown summerlin, I was missing their fried chicken and decided to give their sushi spot a try. While everything we had was delicious, their portions were small and their food was expensive. Their fried chicken was smaller and at least twice the price as their stand alone (although I understand casino pricing is more it seamed like a rip off)! The restaurant is beautiful- like most casino restaurants. Our service was decent. If you have ungodly amounts of money and like good food, this place is for you.

If you're a local or just visiting Vegas you need to try out this sushi spot! I ate here for the first time with my friends and it was such an amazing experience! Service: Our server Eric was very kind, attentive and had answers to all of our questions because the menu is quite extensive, but he was on top of it! He made sure our appetizers and entrees were brought out in a timely matter. They were actually very quick with it so I appreciated it because we were all really hungry! Food: two appetizers that stuck out to me were their blue ribbon fried chicken and the spicy tuna crispy rice (the best one I've ever had from a restaurant, so you have to get it!) I got their sushi-sashimi combo and the quality was sooooo good. The quality of their fish is so fresh and each bite I had melted in my mouth!! (SO BUTTERY!!) I was in love and savored each piece. You really can't beat the price for the quality of sushi that you're getting. I will definitely come back when I go Vegas!
Be the first to ReplyAn amazing place for dinner and drinks with friends.
Our server Eric was very friendly and accommodating to our large group. The Dragon Roll was great for anyone who enjoys freshwater eel. I would also recommend the Steak Frites for anyone that isn't to keen on sushi. The ambiance was also perfect. 10/10 would love to come here the next time I'm in Vegas to try everything else on the menu!

First time dining here for my birthday & they were so accommodating to our group of 13! It was hard to find restaurants that would be able to seat us all together, but glad we came across this hidden gem :) Food: some highlights were the blue ribbon fried chicken (must get!!), the spicy tuna crispy rice, and the sushi-sashimi platter. The quality of each piece of sushi on the sushi-sashimi platter was amazing and it was awesome how we got to pick a choice of our own roll. For dessert, the gingerbread pudding was sooo good, I've never tasted anything like it and the consistency was so soft yummm Service: our server Eric was awesome! Very attentive and took care of our whole group for our first time there. Loved the hospitality from the staff during our dinner here Ambiance: I appreciated how they set the mood in the restaurant by dimming the lights and gives classy sushi restaurant vibes, perfect for a date night or dinner with friends Overall, I would return here again because of our great experience
Be the first to ReplyMy friends and I had an amazing experience here.
Our server Eric was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. You have to visit this place when you come to Vegas. It's out of the way from the strip but totally worth going a bit further for. The food on the strip is overrated anyways! - Wings were a 10/10. Crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It came with a delicious honey wasabi and chili sauce. - Tiger shrimp tempura was light and crispy. It was cooked to perfection. Not dry at all. - Steak frites with the miso butter was rich and juicy. Eric made a great recommendation to get a side of white rice to soak up all that sauce. -Dragon roll was so fresh and just melted in my mouth. - Can't forget about the gingerbread pudding. The texture was insane! Loved the warm bread with the cold vanilla ice cream. :)
Be the first to ReplyThis place is a sleeper.
Was not expecting this place to deliver from its location inside a casino but WOW. For the price, I believe this establishment over delivers with its high-end ambiance (dim-lit, sleek, and Japanese inspired interior), attentive service, and amazing food. Shout out our server Eric! Excellent service. He had an extensive knowledge of the menu and gave out great recommendations and frequently checked up on us all the way til the end of our meal. Even helped clear and clean our table once we finished eating to prepare us for desert. AMAZING FOOD. Now I'm not gonna sit here and glaze and say this is the best sushi I've ever had in my life, however, for the price and quality that you get it's damn good. I would come back again to eat here. Disclaimer: I only had a chance to try most items on the "sushi" side of the menu instead of the "grill" side, but I can say the sushi here is definitely worth ordering. Menu can be a bit overwhelming (Everything sounds so good) but here are some things my party ordered and really enjoyed: -any sushi platter (great all around item if ur not sure what to get and depending how much you want to eat. You get to pick your own roll) -Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken (so f**** bomb) -wagyu fat fries (if ur really craving fries) -spicy tuna crispy rice -spicy scallop roll -yellowtail roll -Gingerbread cake/toast topped with ice cream (ik it sounds ??? But really blew me away)

The reviews below me don't even come close to what this restaurant delivers in all honesty LMAO Sushi was superb quality, especially when paired with their house made pickled wasabi. My freakin compliments to the chef because that was honestly the best wasabi I've ever had and I've been to Japan 4 times...our server Eric and manger Adam went the extra mile for our large group of 13 celebrating two birthdays with exceptional service and great recommendations. The house wings were so delicious and crispy, the carpaccio was buttery soft and flavorful, spicy tuna crispy rice was such a fantastic appetizer as well. Additionally the sushi combination platter was well made, and the sashimi was even more spectacular with each bite just showing how soft and fresh their fish is. Gotta get the karai hotate, and yuzu Hama rolls forsure no doubt. Gingerbread pudding for dessert was the icing on the cake. I am recommending this place to everyone I know the ambiance here is exquisite and I will definitely be coming back! Outstanding job blue ribbon!!!!

I have to say I usually avoid Sushi bars associated with a Hotel, however this is one of the best places in Vegas and the price (if you like to drink can become costly) but it is all worth it. Had a great selection of fish every time and truly enjoyed every thing I ate. I just returned from Tokyo and still can honestly say it is excellent.

We visited Blue Ribbon for the first time and it was truly a delight. Food was amazing, great service and a beautiful ambiance. George, the manager was awesome as well as our waitress. We sat at the bar and enjoyed our orders made right in front of us. It was an unforgettable experience. Blue Ribbon is now our place to go for sushi. Thank you

Service was outstanding towards the end. After our orders were placed, we were not sure where our server went, good thing other staff were able to assist. The receptionists were friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was okay.

Our family loves this restaurant! The taste, freshness & the presentation of the food is outstanding! Service is always top-notch. We enjoy sitting in their large booths. The backs are high which helps to drown out extra noise and makes it easier to have a conversation.

Crispy rice? Delicious and at almost $40 a pop (with tax) it should be! BR -they are famous for their fried chicken. I like the fried chicken over at Joes Stone Crab at ceasars better. Atmosphere is fake upscale Honky Tonk I guess. Ok. The steak tartare was fine. I don't eat raw meat unless the restaurant look clean and this place looks clean. The star of the night was the cheese fondue. Very fond of the fondue. Staff is excellent!

Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill has a location in the Red Rock Casino/Hotel in the Summerlin part of Las Vegas. This is a more expensive fancier type of Japanese style restaurant. Inside is a sushi bar, traditional tables, booths, and partial booths. They also have an indoor-outdoor bar, and outside dining. We shared two lunch specials. A typical lunch special cost around $28. and comes with miso soup and wakame. We shared a Chirashi (sashimi rice bowl $34.) It was a good size for sharing and came with a wide variety of fish. It was decorated nicely with some add on things like Japanese pickles and fish roe. It was mostly good but was more like neighborhood sushi than expensive once in a while sushi. I was expecting the melt in your mouth type of sushi. It was more like neighborhood sushi with average wasabi, chewy octopus, average shrimp, and some sort of white fish with a hard exterior. The other plate that we shared was the ground in house Prime Wagyu Smash Burger with fries ($26.). It wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing either. It might have been slightly overcooked because it was on the dry side and lacked a good beefy flavor. We both thought that the fries were very good. The service was exceptional and wonderful.

The sushi was excellent (hotate & churtoro sashimi and the spicy lobster roll). The 8oz Prime Smash Burger was okay. The smashed patties can only be prepared well done but gave it a try anyway. The Oxtail and Bone Marrow Fried Rice Tobanyaki had a good amount of mushrooms and daikon. The meat was crispy and the dish overall didn't have much flavor. Good and friendly service. There was always someone around making sure we were doing okay. We didn't have to wait much for anything; smooth quick checkout. There were many little booths to eat in which was nice. There's bar seating as well. Overall good ambiance, food, and service. Would come again for the sushi.
Be the first to ReplyOverall experience.
.. Good not great. Went here for Valentine's Day at 8:30, they closed the kitchen by 9:30 - felt a little rushed during the meal, but service was overall excellent. The ambiance of the restaurant was traditionally Japanese with dim lighting. I wish we were seated at one of the hutch booths or at the sushi bar instead. Food was again, good not great. Edamame was fine, salad was a little bland, and the Spicy California with Blue Crab and sushi pieces were OK. I liked the Jadori Chicken for the flavor (def squeeze the lemon all over it) but it was a little chewy. The teriyaki sauce and steamed rice was fantastic. I also ordered one of their signature cocktails and it was FIRE. So light and refreshing. With all the sushi places in Vegas, I'm not sure I'll be back to this one - but worth a try if you're staying in Summerlin or Red Rock! Just lacked flavor for me!

Holy moly this place exceeded my expectations in all the best ways! Mario took care of us tonight and he was so knowledgeable about the menu and recommended some of the best things we ate. The vibe is quiet and transports you straight to Japan with the decor. The food is the shining star. All the fish was fresh and each bite left a favor explosion in your mouth. We didn't know what appetizer to try so we got the pupu plater and that was also a 10/10. I ordered a milk tea to wash it all down. Can't wait to come back again for date night!

Located in Summerlin at Red Rock Casino & Resort, Blue Ribbon is a great alternative to the great AYCE joints around Vegas. The poke is a must, and the BR sushi boat is a good value at $200. You can't go wrong with anything here since the ingredients are all fresh... esp considering the $$$ price point you're paying for the experience.

Mario and his team made sure that the service was outstanding and birthday worthy for our party of seven. Extensive menu for the sushi/sashimi lover but other good options for those who aren't. Everyone really enjoyed their menu choice including the seaweed salad and edamame appetizers, sushi, wagyu burger, halibut, and surf and turf. Blood orange sorbet, green tea banana split, and gingerbread pudding wrapped the meal. Traditional Japanese decor vibe rounded out the experience. Would definitely return.

My date and I had an positive dining experience at Blue Ribbon, a Japanese restaurant that definitely knows how to please it's customers. We started with the chicken lettuce wraps, and they were so good that we almost ordered seconds! For our main course, we tried the Wagyu Skirt Steak with Chimichurri and Potato Herb Salad, and it was cooked to our requested done-ness. And the sushi was a highlight too; the ebi tempura and futomaki were super fresh and flavorful. We couldn't resist ending the meal with the matcha tiramisu and matcha ice cream, which were the perfect sweet treat. The atmosphere at Blue Ribbon was really cozy and welcoming, and the wait staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The price was reasonable and we felt like we were getting a great value for the meal. While some dishes may not have been mind-blowing, we still had a great time and would definitely recommend this spot for a fun night out, whether you're a local or staying at Red Rock Casino. We give Blue Ribbon a solid 4 out of 5 stars for its great food, lively atmosphere, great service, and reasonably priced. It's definitely worth a visit!

I came here to eat with my sister for dinner last week and was set on ordering the Omakase that I saw someone posted on Instagram. It is in red rocks, so be prepared to park in a big parking lot and do a little bit of walking to get inside of the casino. Upon entering the restaurant, the vibe of the place was very chill. There was two hostesses working the front and since we told them it is our first time we didn't know where we would like to sit. She said that we can be sat and if we don't like it, we can move to a different spot. We were thinking about either the bar sushi chef area But apparently there is also a bartender bar area as well. We opted for the sushi chef area. Looking around there seems to be tables around that seems like it can be a good date spot. This place has dim lighting and a very relaxed vibe. Although the chef don't really talk to you over there the person who does is your waitress. What's cool about sitting there if you can see the chef, making all the rolls for all the tables. The waitress we had was awesome and answered all of our questions we had since it was our first time there. If she didn't know some things, she would come back and find out with an answer. She was very friendly and courteous, as well as attentive to us. We started with large hot sake for $19. We ordered the hot rock beef for an appetizer, as well as hamachi jalapeño, crispy rice with spicy tuna and spicy scallops. All were so amazing!!!! The omakase (chefs choice) we ordered for 1 and shared it. They brought out a spicy tuna tartar with seaweed wrap. Oh there was also a raw quail egg yolk on top as well. Tasted alright. The wagyu dumplings were tasty but nothing I would order separately. Wasn't juicy enough for me. The main dish came out and was plentiful! Spicy diced tuna, king crab meat, abalone slices, oyster, cucumber boat filled with uni & fish eggs, herring roe, bunch of sashimi & nigiri pieces, a couple of hand rolls... so blown away!! All were yummy! The final dessert was a martini glass with white chocolate pudding with Oreo cookie crumbles. Wasn't bad but nothing spectacular. Anyways the omakase was worth it to us.. $100 for it but so much comes with it!! Highly recommend for sure! If you go with someone just order 1. Plus other apps and such and you'll be golden. Our bill was a little over $200 for two people but was worth it. The quality of the foods were so fresh and delish for the most part. I would recommend for anyone to come here and experience for yourself how delightful this place was. Me and my sis had a fabulous time here.
