So disappointed! They changed the potatoes.
Use to be way more cheeses. And the steak eh. We use to frequent. But not anymore.

We made reservations for a party of 6 around 4:30. We were all seated right away. Our waitress, I believe her name was Justine. She was very friendly and attentive. Right away, she brought us warm.bread and butter. Took our drink order. And gave us enough time to look at the menu. She made sure our whole party had enough refills on our soft drinks. Restaurant had happy hour at the time we arrived. Drinks were ok. Appetizers were delicious. My kids and I all had the ribeye. It was a little overcooked. But still good. My husband ordered the New York strip. That was delicious and cooked to perfection. We had a really good time. All desserts were sooo good.

I DONT WRITE BAD REVIEWS!But this takes the cake I've been coming to this for few years now I arrived Friday June 7 @745pm sat at the bar for Dinner BAD AND RUDE SERVICE FROM THE BEGINNING.. I found it odd the were couple people at bar half chairs we're empty that should be a WARING! complementary maple bread wasn't available. I ordered campfire feast after all said and done I didn't receive my salad. Damn, the salad is made by the bartender.(MELODY) never delivered it and she failed to refill my ice tea and the only thing she had to do is handle the people at the bar and the high top.s looks like she wasn't enjoying her job but I paid over $100 for my meal and didn't receive what I was supposed to get service & Food...Melanie is a poor server and bartender, spent annually in this facility at least $4,000 to $5000 a annually I asked for management no manager to the bar came Melanie discounted my bill $5 f* cked dollar for poor service it's gonna take some time for me to return here with other choices I have in the area. I've been coming here for the last eight years. I sent an email it was blocked so I have no other choice to leave me a review am unhappy with your service.

The appetizer was a chicken biscuit slider and a Strawberry Passionfruit Jalapeno Margarita. The entree was a ribeye steak, eggs, & lobster fritter, and a Bloody Mary. The dessert was a skillet sugar cookie with strawberries & ice cream, and a Lavender Blueberry Mimosa. All the food was excellent, my favorite was the ribeye and the dessert. I predicted my favorite drink would be a Mimosa, but my favorite was the Strawberry Passionfruit Jalapeno Margarita which was well-balanced. I noticed no one drank their Bloody Mary, it's not my favorite drink but was overseasoned on the rim of the glass which made it taste more like seasoning than a drink. The service was good. We had the manager and several waiters helping us. I would attend another event like this if they had it.

Im glad we gave this steakhouse a try (despite some of the other reviews for this location). Our experience was nothing short of exceptional! We made a reservation a day earlier to make sure we would be seated in a timely manner. On arrival we were seated right away. Our server, Brook was welcoming and friendly. Appetizers arrived promptly, we went with the crab cakes which were delicious albeit a bit on the smaller portion side! The main courses did not take long either. All plates in our party arrived at the same time. The food was delicious, we all enjoyed our entrees. I had the ribeye with lobster. The steak was cooked to my liking and the lobster was good as well. My partner got the salmon which she enjoyed. The kids got the mac'n cheese and they enjoyed that as well. Brook took good care of us through out the service, she checked in on us several times. At no point were our drink glasses empty, she refilled them promptly and made sure we had everything we needed. She even brought us extra bread for the table. All in all, we had a great experience; definitely seemed like the staff made an honest effort at making our meal and experience as pleasant as possible! We will definitely return!

Jose V was someone who made sure I came back to your establishment. There seemed to be another lady who didn't care about anybody else but one lady at the bar. She was in her FaceTime and texting whomever she wanted. I was never spoken to by her and I wish I was I was ready to order but her customer service turned me off and I figured everyone other than Jose V was like that. As a 24 year veteran of the hospitality industry it's make me sad that too many people act that way

Imitation crab for lobster Mac and cheese? Black angus you gotta do better. Came in here with family. Love coming in for campfire feast. Such a great value. Decided I would upgrade a sidekick to the "lobster feta Mac and cheese." There might have been 1 piece of what one could consider lobster, not even sure at this point. If I would have known it would have been made like this with imitation crab, I definitely would not have ordered it. Consistently good service and good value, so I'll keep coming like I have been for the past few years. But seriously black angus has to do better.

My family and I frequent this location for the campfire feast. We start out with some potato skins or cheesy bread. Get a side salad (not your typical small side salad), New York steak cooked medium well plus another side. We greatly enjoy the service. The molasses bread and the perfectly cooked steak and ribs. After we are about 90% stuffed, we then fill up the last 10% of our tummies with a sky high mud pie. I highly recommend this place as a local non fancy place for your steak fix. Budget friendly as well!

I ordered take out and got the 6 oz steak with crispy shrimp. For my 2 sides I got broccoli and au gratin potatoes. The shrimp and bread were the only decent thing. The broccoli tasted like it was frozen, the potatoes tasted old and not good. The steak was undercook and so tough. I used to love black angus but their food has gone way down hill

Just stopped in for phoned-in takeout and decided to wait at the bar. Dennise was awesome with a great greeting, excellent service and knew when to check on us and when to leave us be. The atmosphere was great and we ended up staying much longer than scheduled?? The takeout order was accurate and exactly as anticipated. We appreciate that you can depend on the consistency of their delicious food regardless of what location you're at. This isn't our local Black Angus but when we are out this way we will definitely stop in.

Eating an early dinner (before 5pm) seems to make a huge difference in food . The food was great but needed more servers. I ask for my broccoli to be steamed very soft but I had to return the broccoli x3. Finally the head chef came with a very steamed soft plate of broccoli & clarified butter. He didn't even charge me and promptly removed this item from my bill. I was given a double helping of the steamed soft broccoli. The head chef was very nice and kind. Thank you Black Angus.

I had ribs with a baked potato. At 2 p.m., you never know if you're getting last night's potato or fresh. It was fresh, and the ribs were meaty. On to the service. Every time I have been to this restaurant,and today was no exception, I have a mandatory wait of at least 10-15 minutes. Even if the seats are empty. I understand about spacing out seating, but as it turns out, it doesn't matter. Our server tried her best, but she was just overwhelmed! I asked 3 times for more water. Other people in the booth across from us had the same issues. Luckily, I had a few extra minutes and could do a 2 hour lunch with friends. Usually, I don't have that kind of time. I'm sure you know what I mean. She did her best,but had no support. Sorry. Plan when you go there. But I know of a few other places I'll be going instead.

However, our server, Perry , was pretty rude and had an off putting tone when first being asked what to order. Our food was very good and the steaks were great. The only bad experience was the service from our server who looked like he could care less and looked like he was making another server or employee uncomfortable. It really looked like he needed some type of retraining on how to handle people. But for the price and what you get when it comes to the food and the drinks, it's great and can't complain along with the environment. Just wish we get a different server next time.

Super awesome Staff, especially the beautiful Prego Manager,(Bree). She really went above and beyond to make our visit the perfect evening. My hubby and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary with an extra special additional celebration of life.(he had a stroke 71 days ago) this was our first big outing. Jacob our server was one of the best we have had. They were happy to be making us happy. This is the only way we all should be at work . They show us how appreciative they are to serve us and we should be respectful for how hard it is to please people. Thanks to a great team of pros to show everyone how it's done. Thank you thank u thank u!!!!!

This Black Angus (Buena Park) is one or the best restaurants I have been to!Jacob is was one of the best servers I have ever had!The manager,(Bree) was great and very awesome.I would recommend this Black Angus to anyone who is wanting a good meal.Filet Mignon

I made a last minute reservation for my friend's 24th birthday the food was delicious the drinks are great and our server David was awesome in making my friends birthday surprise with balloons and a card was greatly appreciated I would definitely go back for sure.

When I arrived to pick up my food I was informed someone else had just picked up order. The manager offered me a drink at the bar while I waited for my food. She then promptly brought my food out and apologized again while offering me a gift card. I'd like to thank the manager Bree and host Devin for quickly correcting the mistake and for making me feel like a valued customer.

If I was told to write a review when I first got seated to my reservation I would of have gave this place no stars.I visited Buena Park BA on Saturday at 6pm I had made reservations a few days in advance. When we got here we had to wait for our table nothing crazy we expected a wait since it was New Year's Eve. Bree the manager was hosting. My reservations were originally for 4 people but we unexpectedly grew to 6 people. Bree was super understanding and was still able to seat us. We got seated at our table. We waited a good 15 minutes before our server came to our table which we expected because of New Year's Eve. From the moment she approached our table you knew she didn't want to be working today. She started taking our order didn't bother to introduce herself and started rushing us. I asked about my firecamp coupon which was expiring that night and said I couldn't use it because it was a holiday. I said okay that's fine. I guess she didn't like that I asked about the coupon because she started getting loud. Denying our request to substitute our sides. For example fries for mashed potatoes was a No to her because she said we would make her walk to the other side of the kitchen to get our food. Which to me it's unacceptable for someone to not want to do their job because it requires them to do a little more.At this point I was done I didn't want her serving us so I walked up front and asked for a manager. I told Bree what was happening she was very apologetic and gave us a new server. Sal was amazing very sweet man. Refilling our drinks making sure we had everything we needed. (Of course our last server) made sure to mess up our order before they changed her. When we received our food our sides were all wrong and all our appetizers were missing.But the amazing server that Sal is he quickly made sure to correct our orders. We had a great time ending the year right. This company is lucky to have Sal he's the reason we will continue coming.Great Food & Great Service from Sal.Thank you Ms. Bree your restaurant is proof that even if it starts bad it can end great.

Southern California Vascular Associates had their holiday event catered by this Black Angus and were assisted by Brianne Barron. Brianne was so helpfull and walked me through everything, making suggestions and ensuring our order was ready on time. The food was delicious, hot, and fresh. We all were very pleased with the service and food provided. I really appreciated her efforts and service. Star by Brianne's name please! Super star!!!

The crab tasted fresh which is hard to find and my steak was cooked perfectly! The deal I got was pretty good and service was great. Will def be back for a high quality dinner!

Me and my family of 7 ate dinner here 12/23 the people were very nice and the food was great! However the service was not very good, it took us 15 minutes to get our beer and our server only checked on our table once out of the two hours we were there and for the price we paid our steaks were a little overdone and I expected better service...
