Be Our Guest Restaurant Orlando Reviews from The Last Year

WHEN: Wed @10:30am So since it was Valentine's Day, the only available time to eat here was at 10:30am the latest. Which is fine, I really wanted to check this place out. So you check in outside where you can look at the menu, but you can't check in early. Now the castle looks like it's really far in the back but it's actually an illusion. You only need to walk several yards to get into the lobby. There, the staff is already notified that you've checked in, and from there they will call your name and walk you to your seat. We were talked through the infamous ballroom that looked just like from the animated feature. We were then shown the West Wing, another seating area I am glad was not seated in because it felt dark and gothic. Still cool to check out though. We were then seated in the Rose Gallery, where there was only just one other party. So it felt like we had the entire area to ourselves. In the Rose Gallery, is centered by a music box nearly 7 feet tall with a twirling Belle and the Beast. The walls were filled with large paintings and tapestries of "deleted scenes", showcasing Belle and Beast hanging out. Sure it's a bit dim, but it fits the high end dinging experience. Throughout the entire time we were here (a bit over an hour?) the actual Beast came out twice to greet everyone, visiting every table! I mean, I didn't expect this to be a character dining, but that was a nice surprise, haha. Now keep in mind that this is a Pre-Fix Dining where everyone in the party must order their own. So here's what my partner and I had for $70/person: COMPLIMENTARY: BAGUETTE & BUTTER - I was so tickled that a whole baguette was brought out! They were slightly pre-sliced and the butter was amazing. APPETIZER: MIXED GREEN SALAD - Goat Cheese Mousse and Roasted Tomato Vinaigrette Dressing. Something light and easy, and it was decent. ESCARGOT DE BOURGOGNE - Baked in Garlic-Herb Butter with Baguette. This was SO good, I'm so glad I got this. A total of 6 snails and they were all tender with plenty of the garlic butter sauce to soak them in! Be sure to dip some of that free bread into the garlic-herd butter! ENTREE: WINE AND BEER-BRAISED BEEF SHORT RIB - Smashed Potatoes, Smoked Bacon, and Onion Jam. This was a recommendation so I ordered it. Flavors are pretty strong, with the salt and sweetness front he jam. Overall good, but I may need more of that smashed potatoes to balance out all the intense flavors. GRILLED FILET MIGNON - Smashed Potato, Haricots Verts, and Sauce au Poivre. Simple and delightful. May not be the best steak ever but it still delivers! DESSERT DESSERT TRIO - Chocolate Tart, Dark Chocolate Truffle, and Lemon Jam Macaron. Such a fun one because of the "grey stuff" which is in the Chocolate Tart. It's really cookies n cream flavor, which is smart, you can go wrong with that! That and the Lemon Jam Macaron was good. I didn't try the truffle since I'm not a fan of dark chocolate. The other 2 were quite sweet. VANILLA CAKE w/LEMON CURD - with Fresh Berries and Strawberry Meringue. This was just okay. Cake was dry, no need to say more. It was so nice of our server to give us a complimentary "grey stuff" That is shaped into mickey's head, since only one of us ordered the Dessert Trio. It's literally cookies n cream mousse. Yum! Overall I had a great time. I didn't mind the cost because of the entire experience, and food for good for the most part. You're paying for all of this, not just the food. I'd do this again with someone who's never been. Oh one note is that this restaurant doesn't accept any form of cast member discounts.
Food and service were wonderful.
It's not character dining so you won't be able to take pictures with any characters but overall great dining experience

I love Be Our Guest! it's turned into our WDW Vacation tradition! the food has always been good. the service has always been great. the atmosphere is so delightful! There is always (so far) been a long wait (last time our wait was 45 mins from our reservation time) and there are no chairs or benches to sit on :( ... it is loud, it is crowded and slightly over priced for what you get. But! I love the experience so it is 100% worth the time and money for me. If I was not a huge Beauty and The Beast fan, I would probably find something else ... maybe... the French Onion soup is amazing!
Our dining experience at Be Our Guest was a mixed bag, but
Our dining experience at Be Our Guest was a mixed bag, but ultimately, it left us with a positive impression. Despite having reservations, we endured a lengthy wait before being seated, which was a bit frustrating. However, once we were seated, the experience vastly improved. The three-course meal offered a variety of delicious options that satisfied our taste buds. From appetizers to desserts, each dish was well-prepared and presented with Disney's signature flair. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Our servers were accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the dining experience. Despite the initial hiccup with the wait, the overall experience at Be Our Guest was delightful. The charming ambiance, delicious food, and attentive service combined to create a memorable dining experience that we'll cherish. It truly felt like stepping into the enchanting world of Beauty and the Beast.
Be our guest.
....but eat like peasants. We had reservations here, and when the doors opened, it looked pretty awesome. They seated us in the dark Princes room. It was hard to see at first, and speaking with others was tough. The dark room had thunderstorms going off, and the beast visited twice, not staying long either time. We did not see bell at all. Moving onto the food, it was a typical themed menu. Kids portions large, and unless a child is starving, you will have extras, yet no sharing is allowed. I ordered the corn bisque soup and the filet. Both were just OK and nothing of a wow I'm paying a good amount for better food. The filet cooked at a medium was not a butter knife cut worthy as I had to use some oomph to cut through. My side was basically a broth poured over 2 cut tomatoes and what seemed like corn biscuits. Overall, I would say this place is a 2/5. People might like sitting in a fancy atmosphere, but the food was not worth the money.

Ah, gather 'round, and let me regale you with a review of Be Our Guest restaurant. Now, when you step foot into this magnificent establishment, prepare to be swept away by the sheer grandeur of the surroundings. It's as if you've been transported right into the heart of my heroic exploits, surrounded by opulence fit for a true champion like myself. And let's not forget the pièce de résistance--the Beast himself graces us with his presence every half hour, as if to pay homage to my superior presence. The servers, bless their simple hearts, do their best to keep up with my unparalleled standards of excellence. They stay in character admirably, though none can quite match my charisma and charm. Especially when it comes to dealing with the little ones, they do an adequate job of entertaining them, much like I do with my feats of strength and dashing good looks. Now, onto the matter of the food. I must admit, it's a bit of a disappointment. For the hefty price we pay--70 dollars per adult, mind you--one would expect a feast worthy of a true hero. But alas, the cuisine falls short of my lofty expectations. It's as if they've forgotten the importance of flavor and finesse, opting instead for mediocrity. Despite this culinary setback, the overall experience at Be Our Guest is still quite enjoyable. After all, where else can one bask in the glory of my presence while indulging in a lackluster meal? So, if you're willing to overlook the subpar fare, I suppose it's worth a visit. Just be sure to bring your appetite for adventure, and perhaps a healthy dose of skepticism.
I was pretty disappointed with what you get for the price.
I most likely will never go back. Our server was really good and the atmosphere was fun. The food was fine but it was not worth the $70/person price. There was a decent wait for the food and it felt like we were in there for longer than I would have wanted as we had to wait for each part of the meal. We were expecting to meet the beast but he only walked around every once in a while. He stayed in the middle and didn't even come close to our table. When we tried to go up to him to take a picture with him, they wouldn't let us and the beast never stopped. We ordered a $40 cake for my sister as it was her birthday. We were extremely disappointed as the cake was very small. This place would be ok if it was $20-$30 cheaper. It just wasn't worth the price tag or time.

We did 3 course set dinner for $70 each and it was definitely worth it. We were celebrating a birthday, and this was the perfect place to do it as the vibes and the feelings were really positive. The theme of the restaurant is beauty and the beast and some guy and a beast costume gets up and walks around every hour, which is kind of fun. Far as the food goes, we had onion soup, escargot, and corn for appetizers and for our main course, we have the steak Fritos, the beef bourgeon , filet mignon -- all of which were fantastic. As far as the desserts, they were even better, especially the raspberry thing.
Made a reservation 2 months in advance.
Arrived and directed through the doors into a waiting area to be seated. Less than 5 minutes and a walk through the grand ballroom which was an amazing site to see. Ordered the special beef tenderloin for an entree cooked perfectly. French onion soup and dessert was a trio that was selected from the restaurant. Souvenir cups could be a little fancier for the fancy restaurant.
The food was excellent, and the service was amazing.
We ate in the West Wing and there were cute touches that I don't want to spoil. The kids dessert was fun and delicious. The Beast showed up. It was great!
