German cheesecake was very tasty.
Pretzel was good. Fruit tart could have been great but there was only 1 teaspoon of custard. Very disappointed with that. Also purchased curry ketchup, iykyk.

I stumbled upon a delightful bakery treat, a massive round cookie that instantly became my favorite. Unfortunately, the name escapes me, but it was a generously sized chocolate-covered delight, either filled or topped with luscious hazelnut cream or mousse that left me in awe. The decision to inquire about it was a wise one, and I'm grateful I did. Equally impressive was the poppyseed mandarin cream roll, which maintained its fantastic taste even when purchased at a discounted rate the next day. The strawberry-stuffed filling in another pastry was commendable, although I couldn't help but wish for a more generous portion of it. Overall, the bakery experience was a sweet journey filled with delectable surprises and flavors that lingered on my palate, making it a visit well worth the delightful discoveries.

I always stop in to send sunflower rye home with my out of town family! The groceries and fridge section carry great product that has been longed for. The croissants, breakfast treats and Stix are a family favorite. Give yourself a treat and visit.
Be the first to ReplyI have been here twice so far.
Each time it is a treat!! The breads are very good, but the pastries!!!!!!!!!!! Oh so good! Too good, I keep buying them!!
Be the first to ReplyI'm not a fan.
Maybe i just prefer a different flavor profile. Ordered about 5 different items, didn't like any. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I think i tried a jelly donut of some kind. Nothing like the lovely yeast belinger i remember. May have been a strawberry jelly? Im used to homemade raspberry. Just missed the mark on traditional. There was a hazelnut cookie that just had an off flavor to me. I believe there was a cinnamon roll that was just not my favorite. A beesting cake. Again, maybe it's me. The flavors just didn't work out for my personal taste. * My dad is German, and I have had these pastries before and enjoyed them.

I've been meaning to try this place for the longest time and finally got around to it this weekend. Unfortunately I won't be going back.
Be the first to ReplyMy mom lived in Germany for many years and LOVES this place.
Not only is everything delicious and meticulously and deliciously made, there is also a little "grocery store" inside the bakery. Occasionally I grab jelly or some other little treat for her or myself. If you can't decide what to get the pretzel croissants are NEVER a mistake!!!

Why haven't I walked in this place sooner?! I kept hearing about how fresh the breads and pastries were, so decided to check it out. The Apple Strudel is amazing! We also had the Almond Coffee Cake and Pretzel Stick. The place is simply decorated and you can pick out the delicious pastries at the counter. The staff is super friendly and did a great job explaining what they offer, and the various types of breads they have. They said the owners spend the previous night, 8pm-4am, baking everything so its fresh and ready to deliver to their two Las Vegas locations. We definitely want to come back and try the fresh baked loaves of bread. If you want fresh baked breads and pastries, this is the place. We shall return!
Be the first to ReplyGreat authentic German food.
Also has a neat little grocery section as well as sausages and other meat products. Highly recommended!

I love International bakeries & ships, there's something about stepping into another part of the worlds culture. Enter German Bread Bakery. This little no frills, great service shop has a variety of fresh baked breads, pastries, and German offerings. Service is kind. There's German chocolates, spices, sauces, & jams. The breads are yummy. You knead to go here!
Be the first to ReplyBeen coming here for a few years now, and usually no issues.
..the pretzel rolls, and such are the best. But the most recent visit was a touch disappointing sadly..whoever was there went I went in with my mother a couple weeks ago, kept serving what seemed to be regulars first before anyone that was already there...my mother finally had enough and asked when it would be our turn. Another regular had come in for a danish or whatever it was, and whoever was working there at the time said very loudly and rudely "Let me help them first...they are complaining" Of course we'd complain..we were there before several of the people after us who got served first. Like I said, this was hopefully a one off, and we haven't had any issues before this, and hopefully won't again. I'd hate to stop coming here....like I said I love their pretzel items!

Be the first to ReplyThis was our first time here.
The lady at the store was rude! She told us that the lady before us "bought the all store and would make the manager happy"! I'm like okay ... Then we asked for the coffee cake . The lady told us it's a day old do you still want it? We are like yeah. We can see that it says it's marked down. It's still good. Then when we asked if you could slice the bread we bought because they have a bread slicer. The lady said no. She said supposedly they weren't allowed to slice any of the bread besides pumpernickel. My husband laughed. He worked at a bakery and knows that it is one of the hardest breads to slice. So we were like okay .. Then we were checking out and asked for the receipt she said she didn't know how to get back into the system and print the receipt. I'm like woah. The food was good. That was the only reason why I gave this place two stars. I will upload some pictures later.
Be the first to ReplyLovely authentic German bakery.
Early in the day has the largest selection. Some items run out. A bit pricey buy delicious breads, danish and large variety of packaged goods.

Been there three times for pasties beautifully done and not to sweet like American style baking. Also picked up bread for my husband. I am gluten free , so limited re baked goods. They only have one item that is gluten free....wish they had more, but my husband LOVES this bakery!

Walked in no one there to greet us cashier was sitting in a chair talking to someone in the back room. After looking for about 5 minutes she finally asked if we were ready to order. As for food it was descent ordered a few items Almond Croissant was hopping it was stuffed with almond paste but wasn't, just was plain with a small amount of almonds sprinkled on it. Kids ordered Berliner with strawberry filling that tasted more like cherry and it wasn't fresh jam just processed gelatin. Maybe that's how it is suppose to be but didn't really like it our preference.Inside was cute a little bakery and store items like pickles and cookies ect.

We stopped in while at the Smiths next door and were greeted with warmth and excellent service. All the pastries that walked out the door with us were gone by the next morning with each tasting as good as they looked. We will absolutely be back.

The smells, ambiance, products offered, baked goods, all scream about the authenticity of this bakery. We were kindly greeted upon entry and not pressured in the least to "make a choice and buy something". We spent several minutes just looking around and taking it all in. In the end I got a pretzel roll, a cheese danish, and my son got a glorious looking cream filled cake. They even had real Christmas Stollen, I regret not purchasing. The price was more than fair, especially considering the old world quality and exceptional service. You won't go wrong taking a field trip and buying yourself a treat.
Be the first to ReplyA small bakery, but really good German baking.
I have a German husband and he says the stuff there is pretty much what he gets in Germany. We've tried the Beesting cake, Black Forest cake, German cheese cake, Apple strudel, Cherry strudel cake, Pretzels, Rye bread, and Six grain bread. Their breads are the best and so yummy!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent service along with delicious bread.
I have been here twice and am looking forward to my next visit.
Be the first to ReplyToday was my second visit! Customer service is very good.
Display case was tempting. I decided on the cheese danish. Absolutely the best cheese danish I've had!! Yum
Be the first to ReplyCute little bakery with awesome German goods and pastries.
Can't wait to try them all!
Be the first to ReplyI'm so happy I found an authentic German Bakery.
Their goods are made fresh daily and are worth every penny. My favorite is between the cheese danish and cheesecake. My husband loves the almond croissant, and son loves the cinnamon roll. Love how generous the sizes are as well. They have other goods as well like their famous sausage and salad dressings.
