WOW. And I mean, really.. WOW. First time in Nashville and
WOW. And I mean, really.. WOW. First time in Nashville and I was so ready after dive bars one after another for a 4 and a half star experience. Boy, was my Yelp wrong to recommend Barcelona Wine Bar. I could have went Next door for what I expect would actually be a four and a half star experience. Don't get me wrong; the ambiance is gorgeous, the wine was amazing. My fiance is definitely blue collar, and his cousin is the same. But, never have I ever felt so looked down upon for it. I mean, I have a master's degree and do NOT minding spending money if it's a great experience. But, I was explaining everything to my fiance and his cousin. I mean, what charcuterie is. What "Tapa" means. Which, I don't mind and I completely expected, but for myself, I've experienced 5 star dining and this. Was. Not. It. The salmon was bland and unseasoned. The charred asparagus was raw. The pork belly came out 45 minutes after the meal, to which the waitress already cleared our table and obviously forgot to put in the order. I couldn't have had a refill even if I begged. Never again. Spend your HARD EARNED money elsewhere. The online website is not up to date, and the real in restaurant menus are so big you can't fit them on the table. I could go on and on but I'm just gonna eat some food from Jack Brown's burgers across the street. FYI first night we touched down in Nashville we went to the burger joint, I'd recommend that 1000x over Barcelona. They welcome clientele and don't discriminate based on new customer "worth".

Of course, they serve tapas (small plates). So order up the menu and split and share amongst your party. The drinks are really good and have 0 complaints about the food. Service here is very prompt. Everyone is very knowledgeable of the menu enough to give you good recommendations. Emphasis on GOOD. The manager here is super friendly and accommodating. Out of the several times I've visited I have yet to be disappointed. Grab your people and check it out.

We had a terrible experience at Barcelona Wine Bar in Nashville. From the moment we arrived for our 5:30 PM reservation, the night was a disaster. We ordered a pitcher of Sangria and two margaritas, but it took forever for any drinks to arrive. When they did, the Sangria was bad, and the margaritas were nothing like margaritas--no lime, no ice, just a lemon drop shot. We sent them back, but by 6:30 PM, we still hadn't ordered any food or received replacement drinks. The service was abysmal, and the quality of everything we ordered was subpar. The cheese board was pitiful with just two small pieces of cheese, and the olive starter was served with a single cup to share for pits. Items arrived at different times; for instance, the bread meant for the cheese arrived 15 minutes later, and the server kept telling us things were wrong. We ended up getting the entire meal comped, and when given the option to stay for a free meal or leave, we chose to leave and went to the burger joint across the street. That says something when you'd rather leave than get a free meal! Once we got outside, a member of the group said he'd been there 5 years ago and never came back because of the experience back then, wow. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I would never go back.

The only downfall of this place was the service, our waitress blatantly disregarded us for around 45 minutes with no apology. Can't remember her name but the manager did check in on us because she noticed that we were not getting the proper service.

Trendy tapas restaurant with a modern interior and more laid pack outdoor patio. I love the small bites tapas offers and this spot did not dissapoint! Service was great from start to finish and our waitress was super patient and kind in explaining things. We ordered: Patatas bravas Gambas Paella (seafood) Steak Asparagas salad Burrata Apertivo board Croquetas Honestly, everything was super tasty although I could have done without the steak (overcooked), burrata, and asparagus salad and tried something else. My favorites where the patatas bravas, seafood paella, gambas, and croquetas. A solid spot to go to dinner with friends, date night, or even solo dine at the massive bar. I want to try the happy hour and breakfast/brunch menu next!

I've been coming here for the past three years since moving to Nashville and it's one of my favorite local restaurants. The food is always excellent and the servers are helpful and attentive. Plus the wine list is stellar! Recently my husband took me here for our 20th anniversary and I was really impressed at how special they made it for us. We had champagne waiting at the table (apple juice for my hubby, who doesn't drink) and a special menu that was personalized (see menu) and only included options that were vegan or could be veganized. My husband is not vegan but I am and I really appreciate when a restaurant is respectful of those wishes. Our meal was great and then to top it off, they don't have vegan desserts but they had two vegan cupcakes ready for us that they brought out on a board with messaging for our anniversary the manager Makayla, checked on us several times and made sure we were having a good experience. Thank you so much for making this an extra special night, Barcelona!!

Went on a Friday night and had great ambiance. A little loud at times for chatting with friends with the festivities going on around us, but overall manageable. The aperitivo board is the way to start your meal, excellent selection for the price. Top marks for food went to the chimichurri flank steak which was flavorful with a healthy level of heat; the grilled salmon over fennel salad for being bright and vibrant; and the bacon wrapped dates for a sweet and savory end to the meal. The only tapas that missed the mark for me was the gambas al ajillo, spend your time enjoying all the others! If you want to pair your meal with an alcoholic beverage, the bourbon spice rack did not miss for a hot summer evening. The lavender and citrus was a welcome refreshing profile.

This was my second time coming here and while the first time was great the second was a complete disappointment. For one this is not a place you should go with groups. The portions are microscopic and cannot be split between more than two people at most. Their menu online is completely different than the one in person, which is about 3 feet in size and takes up more room than the 18inchx18 inch tables which makes zero sense seeing as though they recommend 4 plates a person and there's no where to put said plates. The music is also so ridiculously loud it feels as though you should be in a night club.
I would give 2.
5 if I could because the food and sangria is good. Besides the fact there was a hair on my sangria's fruit and service was slow. I sat outside and it smelled like sewage and baby diaper. That was not pleasant. The space is packed...Seemed like the restaurant could have put far less tables to make the experience more enjoyable for your reservation. They also moved our reservation to an earlier time because they "overbooked."

We hosted a large weekend welcome reception for our wedding at Barcelona and had an excellent time! The tapas and drinks were top notch, and the staff was very flexible and accommodating (particularly given that we had more than double our expected party size show up!) - some of the best waitstaff and management I’ve worked with at a restaurant. The team made the planning and set up process a breeze, and put us up in a beautiful indoor space after we had to move in due to rain. I would highly recommend Barcelona for any occasion, be it a 75+ person welcome reception or casually swinging by for a drink at the bar. I’ll definitely be heading back next time I’m in town!

I have come here several times for work dinners as well as personal dinners and have probably tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed! Tip is to ask your server to do a wine pairing with the food you order! Some favorites we have here are the whipped sheep's cheese, meatballs, mushrooms, chorizo paella, gambino shrimp and Marcona almonds. The aesthetic of this place is lovely and the service is always great. Highly recommend this place for a date night!

Only come here if you want amazing food in human sized proportions with a cool ambience, excellent (and service usually sucks these days), and a live band at times. If you hate al these things, DiGiorno frozen pizza or someone else's left over room service meal on the floor of the hotel may be more your style (been there, done that, don't recommend). Barcelona is one of the few places in Nashville that I've gone to more than ten times!!!

Barcelona is my go to spot in Edgehill.
Love sitting at the bar by myself and grabbing a sangria with a couple of tapas. The staff is super friendly and always helping you decide on the best things on the menu. It's also an amazing spot for brunch! If going for dinner for more than 2 people I would definetly grab a reservation on their site. My favorite thing: the truffle bikini and the red sangria. Best brunch item: poached egg with hollandaise and fresh ham. I've been many times and it never disappoints. Barcelona has great vibes all around no matter where you are sat in the restaurant!

Barcelona is such a great dinner spot for special occasions!! The servers are so great and frequently give out complimentary appetizers. The restaurant has great indoor and outdoor seating. My favorites are the patatas bravas, the charcuterie boards, the sheeps cheese, and the croquetas. The overall environment is really fun, especially for big groups. The sangria pitchers are also a must!!!

What a great place, nice venue, awesome staff, many options of food to choose from and decent prices. We had 12 tapas that we split amongst four of us, the flank steak is noteworthy as is the salmon, the fried calamari is huge, Brussel spouts are fantastic…I thought the foie Gras toast was okay, but others in my group loved them. We all left satisfied and talking about our next visit.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
