Amazing food.
Amazing atmosphere. Amazing service. In other words, everything about Bar Cecil is amazing!

Every time I have guests visiting from out of town, I try to snag a reservation at Bar Cecil. Last week, I took one of my dearest friends to dinner, and it did not disappoint. While the food and ambiance were top-notch, as always, it was the service that truly made the evening special. Edgar and Lucas went above and beyond to make our night memorable--especially Edgar. His warmth was contagious, and we felt like honored guests at a family dinner. It's Bar Cecil's unwavering commitment to excellent service that keeps me coming back to share this local favorite with traveling guests. I'm already looking forward to my next meal there--ironically, this coming week! Keep up the amazing work; you've got an excellent team at Bar Cecil.
Service .
..EXCELLENT FOOD OMG Patio ambiance ! Like everyone else was fortunate to get reservations 2 weeks out . Only patio available, but it was so lovely turned out to be our preference . Our host was so welcoming ( we got lost & was 10 mins late , but the host was so kind & sat us right away ) . Erick was our server . Very helpful w/menu selection. Now for the food .... All the hype wasn't for not . Started w/ the artichoke appetizer and our two entrees were the steak and frites and also , pork chop . The seasoning on the meat was perfect , mouth watering . Our experience was just wonderful. Thank you
Our first time at Bar Cecil.
Small eatery that only accepts reservations two weeks in advance. Being off season we were able to snag a table at 5pm. We were promptly seated. The staff was very attentive. Erik was our waiter. Our cocktails were excellent. We shared the halibut, girl and dug salad, and the caico de pepe bucatini pasta. All were excellent. Plan ahead to dine if you are visiting in season.

Bar Cecil is such a vibe! The entrance, the decor the ambience are all impeccable. The cocktails were to die for and our bartender Sean was just amazing, so kind and a true master at his craft. We had the oysters, grilled artichoke, ratatouille and roasted chicken, all Of which were absolutely incredible. Sean was the sweetest ever and made my boyfriend feel so special on his birthday. I cannot recommend this place enough, it does not disappoint! We will be back for sure. Thank you Bar Cecil for an unforgettable experience :)
Best restaurant in palm springs.
The mussels with red curry, bread and burger were phenomenal.
Went for the first time last night.
Charming, eclectic place with delicious food, drinks and excellent service. Halibut was truly spectacular, steak and pork chop very good. Had the duck pate, also delish and escargot which were just okay. Grilled bread so wonderful. Drinks were very good and our waiter, Eric, was terrific. Will most certainly go back. Been here for 2 years and this might have been the best dining experience so far.
Bar Cecil is an eclectic Palm Springs establishment in all
Bar Cecil is an eclectic Palm Springs establishment in all the right areas. The owners have curated a STUNNING and thoughtful inside- the art collection is impressive and using their restroom is a must. Yes, that sounds weird, but no you will not regret it. Our waiter Lucas made our first time at the restaurant such a perfect experience and helped us every step of the way. Great to sit inside or outside, as the outside is equipped with large fans and air chillers even on the hottest of days. For food, the pork chop was executed flawlessly, and it is NOT a small piece of meat. We swapped the potatoes au gratin for the weiser potatoes (think smaller and super tender / well seasoned), which we were very happy about. We also got the cacio e pepe, the perfect size for a singular person but also great to share. The sauce-to-pasta ratio was perfectly delivered and a delicious dish. We intentionally saved room for dessert - this is a MUST. The chocolate chip cookies are out of this world, especially if you add a side scoop of vanilla ice cream. The three large cookies come out warm and gooey, and if it was acceptable to lick a plate in public I would have. For beverages, go the cocktail route, either off their menu or a selection of your own. Their bartenders are impressive and know how to flex their skills. Only critique was the wines by the glass. For a restaurant of this caliber, the wines by the glass were uninspiring and unoriginal. Aside from that small nuisance, this was an exceptional experience and we cannot wait to come back.
ONLY FOR DRINKS
Great Bar Great Bartenders the food is a JOKE! no flavor at all sent back escargot and the Ratatouille that I got to go ended up throwing out!
Better than we imagined
We did book here as it was suggested as a ‘go to’ place. This made me concerned it might be form over function. I was wrong, Bar Cecil manages form and function equally well, and at the same time seem to attract a really nice friebpndly clientele. A couple of really great French 75’s started us off well. Good food choices both for a vegetarian and an omnivore. All concerns quelled, we headed to our hotel grinning widely from great food, lovely staff and interesting fellow diners.
A notch above
We loved everything about our meal at Bar Cecil. Getting a reservation took superhuman persistence and supernatural luck but it was worth it in the end. Once there for our table, we chose to dine at the bar where there were a few empty seats (that night!). I have never been treated so kindly when dining at a bar than I was at Bar Cecil. I believe our server was named Tim, and he was the most natural, easygoing server I have ever had. So relaxed, so well-informed, so helpful and friendly, and all of it in the most authentic way. Thank you, Tim! The food and drinks were both great. My sole was out of this world and the celeriac purée was as silly smooth as I could imagine. My husband’s pork chop was large and tasty. His accompanying dishes were fantastic, too, but his favorite was the glass of Bordeaux wine he had. Just terrific. Everything was at least a notch above great and we came away very happy we had persisted in pursuing that reservation.
Best Meal We Have Had in Palm Springs
Fantastic night out to celebrate a birthday. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the steak frites were some of the best we had ever had. The service and ambiance were also both excellent. The best place we have eaten in Palm Springs, and we spend several weeks a year here.
The good and the not so good
This is probably the 10th time I’ve dined at this restaurant. The good… Amazing food. You can see why they want a Michelin star in 2022. Everything is delicious. On one occasion, I had an overcooked halibut, but they did right by me the next time I came and comped me a replacement one. Kudos to them for that. Now the not so good. Literally impossible to get a reservation and never room for walk-ins. The current system, requires you to get online the moment you wake up 14 days before you want to eat there and maybe you can get a table. For four people. Not for three, not for two, not for five, but for four people. I get it. They’re popular. Then, during the last dining experience we had on March 6, 2025, our server went on a 30 minute break just as our first course arrived. So, we were kind of cast to the wind. When our main course arrived, a side vegetable, somehow didn’t come and they didn’t know we wanted it. Made them aware of it more than once. Finally, as we were finishing our main course, we told him to forget it. At that point, I asked for the manager. I guess Jessica Cassel was not working that Thursday evening so acting manager came. We explained that we were a little disappointed. It was a birthday celebration. He was a little bit Kurt. Stated we’re going to give you a complementary dessert for the birthday celebration. 5 to 10 minutes later a complementary dessert and an additional one did come. And he was much friendlier. I guess my issue is, they seem overwhelmed, always in a hurry, and the service seems to be inconsistent. Add to that, that they now charge a $45 corkage fee, which I find pretty outrageous unless you are the French laundry in Napa. They are not. I will say it’s probably my last time dining there. It’s a shame. I’m a local and live here here around in Palm Springs. It is just more trouble than it’s worth.
Always good service and lovely atmosphere.
This restaurant has remained consistent despite the original chef having moved on some time ago. It is a personal take on classic French bistro fare. While the food is consistently good (and there are certainly many restaurants in Palm Springs with equally good food), what makes this restaurant stand out is the level of service one receives and the charming atmosphere, especially if you are able to sit inside. This is a very popular place despite the difficult reservations, so it is always packed and noisy. Out of towner's flock here. Don't be discouraged if you have to sit on the patio. It is entirely closed in during the winter and has heaters. You hardly feel you are outside. Many of the starters such as the deviled eggs and grilled artichoke are perfect for sharing at the table. The escargot are good but not very garlicky. Their basic dishes such as fish and steaks are consistently prepared well. If your dish comes with fries be prepared there are an enormous quantity of these, and you will end up sharing. The starter fresh baked Parker rolls with sage butter are a must. This is one of the few restaurants besides Workshop + Kitchen that offer a pavlova for dessert. My one disappointment with the place is that the cocktails are fairly average at a place you expect interesting craft cocktails. Their well brand liquors such as Beefeater gin and Maker's Mark bourbon are pretty low end. This is not inexpensive dining so be prepared. As locals we rarely go here due to the difficult reservations and equally fine food elsewhere in the CV. But it is a fun place to take out of town visitors.
Fabulous Pork Chop ! the rest was just OK ... nothing special.
I spent three days in Palm Springs for R+R. Since my plane landed on Saturday afternoon, it was logical for me to sign up at 4pm for a 5 o’clock seat at the bar. The NYTimes travel article suggested the pork chop. The bartender suggested the deviled eggs as a first. Two would have been fine, but six …. A poor recommendation for one person. All the same, and each had a flower petal. I hate consuming flowers. The pork chop was large and it WAS superb ! It did not need the peppery topping shown. The potato au gratin, arrived cold, so they brought another.. and it not good. The broccolini was ok.. the entire entree needed to be served on a much larger plate rather than be cramped. Wine selection by the glass was rather limited considering … no California reds! The French Bordeaux that I had was just ok. Bread offering would be good for 2 or 3. Problem was most of the firsts were sized to be shared.. so this was not great for a solo diner. I decided not to have dessert. All items listed only on the placemat.. not a hand held menu .. seemed strange for a fine dining restaurant. It is said to be impossible to get a reserved table unless you book 6 weeks in advance.
Inexcusable horrible experience
We made dinner reservations for 2 people several weeks in advance at Bar Cecil. When we arrived, we were taken to our table by a host who said “Oh, you’ll be seated next to a dog.” I am not exaggerating when I say that the tables were no more than maybe 18 inches apart, such that the dog laying between our table and the table of the dog’s owners was literally partially beneath our table. The dog itself was large (about the size of a lab) and when it stood (which it did frequently) its head was as high as our table. To make matters worse, the dog had an odor and periodically got up and shook itself the way dogs do when they’re wet, a very unsanitary situation once we’d ordered and food was on our table. Because the tables were so close, it was embarrassing for us to ask to be moved in front of the owners. The wait staff literally had to maneuver around the dog and once or twice the dog knocked the table and spilled water on the floor. At one point the owners of the dog could see we were not pleased and apologized saying that the dog had a health problem so they couldn’t just leave it at home. We are both dog lovers, but this situation was inexcusable on the part of the restaurant staff and completely ruined our evening. After our meal, I asked to speak to the manager. It’s clear to me now why a good number of this restaurant’s reviews comment on the rudeness of the staff. The manager said she was sorry, but it was clear that she really couldn’t care less about what happened. She also told me that the dog was a service dog, which was completely untrue based on what the owners of the dog had told me. She basically said I should write a negative review, and clearly couldn’t be bothered to make any accommodation when the restaurant was so blatantly in the wrong. I fully understand that a restaurant must accommodate a service dog, but this restaurant needs to revisit its policy and put owners and their dogs at a table that doesn’t disrupt the quality of the experience or hygiene for other diners who are paying a lot of money to eat there. I truly believe this situation was a health department violation although the manager dismissed me on that point. And for those who think we should have asked to be moved, there were no other tables. I would NEVER eat here again. Because this restaurant is fairly popular, I expect that management will ignore this review because they feel they can.
Love the experience at Bar Cecil. Always ...
A must stop if you're in Palm Springs. I managed to grab a seat at the bar and enjoyed my dinner, drinks, and chats with the bar staff as well as other guests seated around me. The food here is always always good. The drinks are done extremely well. The staff makes recommendations about what to eat and drink with it, and they're usually spot on. And I usually end the meal with a piece of lemon tart that helps make everything much much better. Love this place and the staff I've interacted with
"Shall We..." No we shall not! Bar Cecil makes clear they don't care about customers.
Bar Cecil is clear in signaling that they don't care about your business. Making reservations is hard -- not a problem, and could be a very good sign! But when, as others have noted, they make it prohibitively challenging in order to create the specter of demand, it's obnoxious and off-putting. We're traveling to Palm Springs for a short vacation, and would have enjoyed trying Bar Cecil. What could have been a simple "Too bad, we couldn't get a reservation" has now turned into open disgust as a result of your rude and flippant responses. Our experience: OpenTable would not identify reservations more than 2 weeks in advance, with the message from the establishment: we don't accept reservations "that far in advance". So when I went online to book Exactly 2 weeks in advance, and just a couple of hours after Bar Cecil allegedly opened up the reservations, it indicated it was already sold out. When I emailed to find out how we might be more successful in making a reservation, I got a response indicating they would only discuss existing reservations, and would not engage if I did make a reservation online (which was impossible). The establishment was downright rude when I called, and were clear they wouldn't they wouldn't speak to me unless I had a reservation in hand. "Shall We...?" No we shall not. Part of customer service, dear Cecil, is engagement with customers before, during, and after the experience there, and treating potential customers with respect and dignity. They may have fine food and service in the restaurant -- we'll never know! -- but we do know how they made us feel in the process of trying, and that says everything about how Bar Cecil views its customers.

Everything we ate was delicious especially the bread rolls, mussels, roasted chicken, and cacio e pepe. Service was hit or miss in tracking down our waitress or a runner not acknowledging a question asked but to their defense the restaurant was full. I was only able to reserve patio seating despite booking the reservation 30 days in advance. It's still quite warm even with misters and fans. Reservations are highly recommended. They had a sign at the front notifying people the restaurant was fully committed for the night.
Came here to say to celebrate me and my boyfriends one
Came here to say to celebrate me and my boyfriends one year! The drink was perfect and refreshing especially in the hot weather! We ordered the burger, steak, broccolini and artichokes. The artichokes were alright, pretty chewy and kind of bland. The burger was good, typical burger nothing special about it, the fries were well seasoned. The steak was probably our favorite food with the broccolini. We got the steak medium rare and it was delicious, cooked perfectly served with this nice creamy buttery sauce! Broccolini was very well seasoned, and delicious. The service was also pretty good and the interior of restaurant had very European vibe to it! Additionally, the food portion was on the smaller side, especially since the food here is a little more on the expensive side. Overall good times!
Awful experience.
The food was okay this time --- yes, I'm a regular. Super disappointed. Staff was rude and rushed us out. It was horrible. Reservation was for 8:30. We were told if we did not order straight away we could not eat. We had one cocktail and never offered a second one. We got our food. Water was never offered again. Our waiter never came back and asked how the food was. He was arrogant and rude. He was belly up to the bar flirting with the other waiters. Multiple bags of foul garbage were being taken out past our table while we were eating our dinner. When we finally paid because everyone was busy hanging out and taking out garbage, we noted that the GM and all the other staff were parked in front of the restaurant. This forced guests to park further out. We literally were still waiting for rides while the staff left. It was 9:30. We were so rushed out. It was awful. I may never go back!!!
I can't say enough about bar Cecil.
This is some of the best food I've ever had. We ordered their seasonal mix green salad the Cacio e pepe and potatoes au gratin it was so delicious and not to mention we sat at the bar and the server was so nice and so friendly, great music great audience 10/10.
I'm convinced Bar Cecil (pron: SESS-uhl) turns out probably
I'm convinced Bar Cecil (pron: SESS-uhl) turns out probably the best, most creative food going in Palm Springs. The problem? There are approximately only a dozen tables inside, so reservations are notoriously elusive. We had the luck of being in town on the hottest day on record (124 degrees), and I had snagged a late cancellation on Open Table for 5:30pm, except it was on the patio where it was projected to be literally 110 in the shade. I got no fewer than 2 phone calls that day from the restaurant warning me that, even with the misters and blowers, it was "wildly uncomfortable" out there, but we thought we'd give it a shot. About an hour before our reservation, Jimmy calls and offers us the owner's booth inside by the kitchen window if we can get there at 5pm. We jumped at it, which led to one of the most satisfying meals I've had in PS. The menu leans French with some nods to local ingredients and flavors. THE FOOD: We ordered... CECIL'S BREAD ROLLS // so freshly baked, venting angry steam when you tear it open, accompanied by delectable local date and sage butter. GIRL & DUG FARM SALAD // Wow. Full of citrus, fresh feta, radishes, pepita, this was just a really creative and refreshing salad. RED THAI CURRY MUSSELS // I wouldn't have expected this curry to be SO DAMN GOOD here. But it is. STEAK FRITES // I would and did expect these to be solid, but... that may be the best version of this dish I've had outside of Paris. Anthony Bourdain's rendition at Les Halles in NYC special, but this cut had a robust beefiness that was deeply satisfying. I'd come back for this dish alone. PAN SEARED HALIBUT // Really fresh, springy, excellently cooked. Great dish for a hot day. For the desserts, the lemon tart was the only off-note, with the curd a little too grainy and coarse for our liking. The chocolate chip cookies, however, more than made up for them. THE SERVICE Our server was fantastic, warm, and friendly. Jimmy at the front was great. THE VIBE Really thoughtful and cool. Again, the joint is intimate and the bar takes up a lot of the space. The bathroom was one of the neatest bathrooms, and I loved the irreverent photo collage in the hallway. We'll definitely be back (hopefully during cooler climes) and will plan accordingly!
We had the best time dining at Bar Cecil over 4th of July
We had the best time dining at Bar Cecil over 4th of July weekend. We walked up a little after 5pm and they were already full at the bar (the only part of the place that is walk-in only) but Jimmy at the front of house said he'd do the best he could do and (eventually) we figured it out. While we waited, we found out that he grew up in Palm Springs and gave us a lot of other great recommendations for our trip. Big thanks to him for starting us off with a great experience. Our server, Josh, was the best - he recommended dishes we never would have thought to order but ended up being fantastic. It was my boyfriend's birthday and they did not let us leave without a mini chocolate chip cookie Sunday with a candle on top to close out our evening. The red Thai curry mussels, ratatouille, and pork chops were delicious and their cocktails were amazing too. Really happy they were able to get us in, everyone we encountered were so friendly and professional. Definitely a highlight of our trip.
Waited weeks to get in.
Mediocre in my opinion. The owners are too cool for their customers. Save yourself some time and dont bother.
Waited 2.
5 years to finally try this place, and it did not disappoint. Reservations are hard to come by, but you do happen to find one that suits your time and party snag it up quickly! We sat in the patio on a sunny and warm July afternoon. (I think it was 110° out). But you couldn't really feel the heat as the establishment had massive outdoor awnings as well as misters to keep patrons cool amid the summer heat. We got the baked bread with date butter (some folks said to pass up on this, but I disagree. It was deliciously brilliant - warm, flaky with salty notes, and the butter was sweet and voluptuous), the onion tart, grilled brocollini, and steak frites. (Ask for a side of house aioli for the frites.) We were celebrating, and the staff brought us two different desserts and a round of drinks. It was all so lovely, decadent, and tremendously generous. Josh(ua) was our waiter. He was grand, humorous, and, above all, caring. The guys working outside were all wonderful. The owners should feel lucky to have such a great staff on their hands. We'll try to come back next time we're in Palm Springs. Maybe 2.5 years again? Lol.

A Palm Springs must! I've been here twice, once for a girls night out and then I had to bring my man back for date night. Lovely decor and details, strong cocktails, and amazing food. A few items on the menu that really shouldn't be missed: the warm bread rolls with local date & sage butter. OMG! Worth each sinful bite. The deviled eggs with caviar. Again, worth splurging. And if you enjoy a great steak with fries that have a perfectly crispy exterior and fluffy interior don't skip the steak & frites. The Parisian butter melts into every single crevice of your meat... Reservations are highly recommended as the space is pretty small but that does offer a very intimate setting whether you sit inside or on the patio. This is one of those places you'll always remember.
Second to none dining experience.
This my 6th visit and I would not do justice if I did not take the time to share my experience in dining at this upscale restaurant. Allow me to share with you how wonderful and consistent with their entire menu, from appetizers to main course. Second to none! Staff is very attentive from the moment you arrive to departure. Staff is very professional and attentive to your needs, their goal is to delivering excellent service all through out your visit. 5 STARS all the way around! If you are in the area. Ensure your reserve a table at least 1 or 2 months out! You would thank yourself later!
I have been wanting to try Bar Cecil for so long.
Reservations are a month out. I was in the Area and decided to pop in since it's off season and 116 degrees outside. We get there and a sign says "fully committed". I asked the nice gentleman standing there, any chance of getting in, thinking he is going to laugh in my face, hang on, he said as I said. Ohhhh, don't ohhh so fast he responded He comes back out and says - now you can say ohhhh!! He walked us in. Now I understand why Bar Cecil is so popular. The food was amazingly delicious and all the servers were fabulous. Going back when I don't know - soon hopefully.
Incredible.
From the drinks, to the food, and last but not least...the service. Each item was put together so thoughtfully and the server never let was want for anything. We were very delighting to see that the owners were there and stopped by every table to make sure we were having a good time. We can't wait to come back when we are in town again!
The food was great.
Definitely need to order the bread with sage butter. It comes out warm. Love that. My colleague made a call and was able to get me a spot at the bar. I highly recommend the bar as a single diner. Bartenders are very professional. I would recommend this to anyone I know.
By far , Bar Cecil is THE BEST restaurant in Palm Springs.
Wonderful food, ambiance, servers , and owners . Thanks to everyone for making my birthday celebration one I will not forget !!!
Not really.
.. very rude host... specifically allegedly manager jessica... best of the worst. She must of had many bad days.

Such a unique restaurant with excellent food, spirits and ambiance. The service is exceptional. Be sure to make a reservation ahead of time or show up 45 minutes early before opening to possibly get a spot at the bar. Not guaranteed.

Great experience, cool vibes, good music and fun French food. Definitely get the steak frites and the ask for an extra caramel with your check.

Wonderful, chic and friendly little spot with great cocktails and delicious food. We've been there twice now and it's become a favorite of ours.
Great service and the ambiance hits hard.
The food was amazing, especially the cacio e pepe. The bread rolls were light and fluffy and paired really well with sage butter. The steak tartare was probably the best tartare I've ever had, the lightly salted chips that went with it really enhanced the flavors. The service was great, waiters were very attentive and one of the waiter's humor was on-point.
Worth the wait! This was an amazing experience.
We sat at the bar, had an amazing waitress and the ambiance was amazing. We got the shrimp cocktail, bread, mussels, steak & frites, and cacio de pepe!
Have enjoyed wonderful evenings here twice.
Staff are friendly and ambiance is very enjoyable. Bit pricey but worth a splurge.

We stopped by Bar Cecil for a quick bite before a show on a Friday night, and we knew we'd like it right away from the vibe alone. The deco is classy, sophisticated, and warm--definitely suitable for date night or a weekend night out. We ordered Cecil's Bread Rolls, which were delicious. The sweet/sage butter flavor is addictive and the bread is as soft and fluffy as I'll be after eating three rolls all by myself. I'm not proud, but it is what it is. The deviled eggs are as tasty as you'd like them to be. Nothing stood out, but they were great, nonetheless. The mussels were incredible and have a curry-ish flavor. Dip some bread in the sauce and you'll be in heaven. It was all so good. Our bartender/waitress was sweet and attentive. Her drinks were great. The tequila drink pictured is called The Brock, which my partner ordered. He loved it, but it was a bit pulpier than he would have liked. Overall, this was a great spot and I'm so happy we came. We'll definitely be back again!
A very good meal
We found the food here to be expertly prepared. Our server provided us with very professional service. The place is a tad pricey but well worth the visit.
Definitely worth the hype!!!
This place is definitely worth the hype!!! It was excellent. The drinks and food were amazing. Loved everything about it. Was hands down the best meal in Palm Springs.
Great restaurant in Palm Springs
We had dinner here tonight. My brother in law has recommended this place. I made reservation a month ago. We sat the patio. It was heated so it wasn’t bad. The ambiance was really nice. We like everything that we ordered. One of the owners came to our table to say thank you near the end. That was a nice touch.
Amazing meal! Must do in Palm Springs (but be sure to make a reservation or have patience)
We had an amazing meal at Bar Cecil while visiting Palm Springs. We weren't on top of things enough to make a reservation, but we did know walking in wouldn't be a given. They opened at 5p and we arrived between 430-445p, and we were already too late...first seating at the bar was already full. Luckily we weren't starving (yet) and they had a lovely fire pit and seating area, so we waited. Estimated seating time was 630p (which ended up being accurate). Sadly there's no drink service outside and you do have to stay or you lose your spot, but we felt it was totally worth the wait. We shared: - bread rolls with date sage butter as I'd read it shouldn't be missed, and they were right. Don't miss out on this pillowy bread with amazing butter - grilled artichoke, which was good but nothing special. I would replace if we go back - escargots we're very good, and I love the old school presentation in the shells - cacio e pepe, as I'd read the pasta (regardless of what is was) also shouldn't be missed... Again, totally agree. Pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was perfect - the burger, again something we read couldn't be missed and again... correct. One of my top 5 burger experiences ever, and absolutely the best presentation The wine and drinks were also very good, but honestly can't remember them over the food. Sadly we were too full for dessert. Lastly, service was outstanding! Our bartender was A very, and he was on point, making our experience perfect. Highly recommend checking this place out...just be sure to either get a reservation or have patience.
Best experience
What a phenomenal experience. Awesome cocktails, delectable food, and outstanding ambience created a perfect experience. The Caramelized onion tart was superb. The roasted chicken was so moist, packed with flavor, and the best I've ever tasted. The pork chop was smoked, juicy, and amazing. The lemon tart and sundae was a perfect ending.
Visiting from UK. 10 out 10. Highly recommend this restaurant
Visited this restaurant for dinner and drinks on a Sunday evening. Great atmosphere, the friendliest staff who made us feel so welcome, great food and good selection of cocktails/drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant/bar. Special shout out to our server (think her name was Dee…she definitely made our night).
Husband is still talking about that burger
Managed to score a dinner reservation for the patio and it did not disappoint. The patio seating is comfortable and has a nice ambience, especially when it gets dark. All service was friendly and welcoming; our server was super nice and knowledgeable but very busy, so at times we had to flag him down, but other than that we thought the quality of the food and drinks were fantastic. Standouts were the deviled eggs appetizer, the pork chop, the burger, and the chocolate-chip cookies. I thought my husband would order the filet but he went with the burger, and by darn a week later he's still talking about how good that burger was. We also enjoyed the Old Cuban Regal and Caldwell drinks quite a bit, though there really isn't a bad one in the bunch. It was a meal on the pricier side (it did hurt a little to shell out $24 for each Old Cuban) but you can't say we didn't enjoy everything start to finish.
Worth the wait!
Finally set my alarm to make a reservation for Bar Cecil and it was well worth it! Wonderful cocktails, food, service and such surprising art. Can't wait to come back to try more of the delicious food!

* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* EternalAnt36, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* EternalAnt36 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to EternalAnt36 for any questions Peter may have as EternalAnt36 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* EternalAnt36 now uses their connections at Bar Cecil Palm Springs to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If EternalAnt36 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, EternalAnt36 receives the $200 reward which is credited to EternalAnt36's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Bar Cecil Palm Springs!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
