Great surprise
I really enjoyed the creativity and execution of annettes. I sat at the bar which is pretty cramped but i enjoyed the attentive service. The chopped salad is really good - dont overlook it. The grilled tongue is a must with perfect grilled bread with marrow spread. Delicious! The paris-brest for dessert (first time ive seen it in the us) is awesome! Really decent price point for this level if food.

We had the chance to eat at Annette's on Valentine's Day and the meal oozed with love. My valentine and I started with the house sangria which was a refreshing take using rose' and the perfect color for the night. Lexi was our server and she is a shining star of niceness, information and top notch service. We started with the endive salad with the perfect dressing, a mustard vinaigrette that was awesome. Onward to the cacio e pepe....house made pasta in a sauce that was nothing less than an explosion of flavors in my mouth ..followed by the steak with a smoked oyster aioli that was crisped perfectly on the outside and juicy and rare on the inside. Do you think we stopped there? No way we dove headlong into the profiteroles and triple chocolate rye and peanut ice cream sandwich that was the kiss of perfection for this meal and this date. You must go and let them guide you through their menu to what works for you. I just can't wait to go back and get the things I did not before the menu changes again. The decor of the place was also fantastic!

How could such simple and ordinary food garnish such rave reviews? This is very basic cooking and simply nothing justified the extravagant costs. We won't be back again.
Be the first to ReplyNice but had a close call
Food was good. Service was friendly. Atmosphere was nice. But it’s too nice of a place to not list allergens on their menu or have servers know it well. I told the server I was allergic to shellfish but she let me order bouillabaisse anyway. The bartender told me by accident in a discussion about the menu that it has clam liquid so I was able to cancel the order. Close call but not necessary and dangerous.

This is the best food in Colorado. The sardine was magical. The burger almost made me cry. Chef and her team should be proud of what they have achieved here.
Be the first to ReplyGood but not exceptional
We enjoy Stanley Marketplace but it is always a little crowded and chaotic when we visit. Upon trying to find Annette, the shift in ambience from the open air market of Stanley to the restaurant is marked. A few steps felt like miles. The restaurant generally has a subdued vibe with an updated industrial feel. But on the night we were there, the place was packed. The food was good but the 6 of us were packed in at a small corner table. The service was fine, but nothing exceptional.
Be the first to ReplyBest meal of our CO trip!
My husband and I were in town visiting friends and selected this based on reviews. Annette did not disappoint. Both the service and food were top-notch! The restaurant is beautifully appointed and we sat inside, although there is a lovely covered outside patio area. We ordered drinks (margarita and Aperol Spritz) and popcorn and deviled eggs for apps. All were great! The popcorn especially was delicious with my Aperol Spritz!! We tried the kale salad which was great, then both ordered the burger and fries. It was the BEST burger I've ever had. Not sure why, but still dreaming out it! Highly recommend to all!

My wife and I love Annette and go here for special occasions, but also for weekend brunch. That's how versatile it is. The whole fish is just hard to describe -- just a beautiful piece of fish presented beautifully. On the other end of the spectrum, the burger and fries are awesome. Also, as a deviled egg fan, these are eggs to remember. Love how you can get small plates of lots of different food or meals like the fish or the roasted half-chicken. So very pleased that Chef Caroline Glover won the Beard Award, but also worried that now we might not be able to get in to Annette quite as much!!!!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food, fun vibe
First time in; it was amazing. Had Escabeche Escarole Salad, House Spaghetti, and Beef Tongue with Bone Marrow. All richly flavored and excellent. Modest sized, yet creative wine list but covered a broad range of tastes so easy to find something tasty. Great cocktails. Fun vibe. Service friendly and professional. Highly recommend. Will be back!

I am still suffering with the over abundance of salt in the food. Great opportunity for cardiologists to contract with Annett's to increase their client base.
The whole place has disgusting flowers throughout the center. What does the health department rate the establishment?
Excellent food but somewhat confusing
Overall, the food was excellent. Both my companion and I were confused by the menu, theme, and service. The service was excellent and 4+ servers in the small restaurant supported each other and all served us - one taking drink order, one taking food order, another delivering food, a fourth bringing us the bill. That is just different than how it is traditionally done.
In terms of the menu, the waiter described the restaurant as a wood fire grill (one can see it) and a tapas format menu. I have been to many tapas restaurants and their menu does not imply a "small plate" format. It certainly does not have small plate prices. As an example, I order the deviled egg appetizer. It was one egg divided into two halves. Cost was $3.50. It tasted very good, but that it a pricy for a single egg.
Neither my companion or I liked the small plate options, so she ordered the chicken and I ordered the pork loin. The waiter explained it will take longer to cook and that was fine. When it was delivered, my companion got half a roasted chicken on her plate - that was it. I received a full pork loin with a vegetable sauce. Again, that is all that I got. Good things we both are carnivores. On reflection, both dishes probably are for a larger group and it woudl work if you are sharing this plate with others. The waiter did not explain that to us and we assumed each was a "meal" with vegetables and other items on the side (yes mom, I would have actually liked a vegetable on the side).
In the end, the food was awesome. The service was good but confusing given every few minutes it was someone else. The menu is unique, but limited for a tapas/small plate restaurant.
A Lovely Brunch
We visited Annette for a Saturday Brunch. Upon arrival, we were escorted to our private "Green House". A small fan kept the space cool. We started with cocktails and deviled eggs. "A Solution in Search of a Problem" was perfect for the warm weather. In addition, the House Cured Salmon was nice and light with a heavy hand of dill (which was nice!). Service was great as well. We Will be Back!
Be the first to ReplyDelicious burgers
My husband and I ordered the wagyu burger and were not disappointed. While my husband made up his mind rather quickly, I was debating between the grilled chicken, the chicken liver pate, and the burger. I came with an appetite and so I wanted to make sure that I was going to get something that was satisfying. This reasoning made it easy to drop the liver pate and then I was leaning towards the grilled chicken, but then it did not come with any carbs, which made it easy to drop that too, leaving me to pick the burger. We were both so happy with our choice, the meat was well seasoned, rich, and delicious and the fries were amazing. We plan to return the next time when I plan to try the chicken liver pate. I really liked the staff too, they were very friendly and accomodating.

My wife and I recently had lunch at Annette. The food was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the spiced curtido, even though neither of us are vegetarians. The pork loin + raclette sandwich was also good. The pecan pie was divine. You could tell that the kitchen really took its craft seriously. We'll be back!

My wife and I dined here and it was amazing! The flavors were amazing and the service was excellent.
We truly enjoyed this restaurant and continue to talk about the experience!
Interesting meal options in an unusual place.
The Stanley Market is a remarkable place with all manner of eating, drinking and retail opportunities. I went there last Saturday with a family group who kindly invited me along and the meal was unusual and interesting. We were looking for brunch-style dishes and tried a whole range of things including breakfast sandwiches with eggs, bacon and super little fried potatoes, and I had a roast pork bowl with perfect poached eggs, again on some super-tasty potatoes. Thy also had a good range of beers, both draft and bottled, and we all left well satisfied. There's heaps of parking too which is another big selling point.
Be the first to ReplySmall Plates, Pricey, But Worth it
My friend and I met at the Stanley Marketplace and decided to try Annette's. We were not disappointed. We shared some fries, panzanella salad, egg salad toast, and the half chicken with greens.
We were not disappointed. They food was excellent and the presentation lovely. The crispy half chicken was phenomenal.
I would eat here again in a heart beat.
Our server was excellent. They have team service so while we had one main waiter we interacted with many servers. They were all excellent.
Creative and unusual
Was there some time ago for brunch, and in August '19 for dinner. Both very good. A little pricey, but high-quality food, very fresh ingredients, artfully prepared.
I don't recall what we had for brunch, but dinner included fries - very good, super crispy; the wood-fired half chicken; and a delicious pasta and tomato dish. Service was good, drinks - including a local cider and sangria.
Great date place
Have visited many times and although tables are often reserved, we really appreciate a spot at the bar. Food is fantastic and the bartender is thoughtful, courteous and very effective in helping make a great evening. Located in the unique Stanley Marketplace in Stapleton this is both a great destination and neighborhood joint. Staff is excellent at what they do.
