Great.
Restaurant. The cocktails and service was great. I highly recommend the short rib. Im hating myself for eating it so fast. So good. The restaurant was clean, and great vibes. It was cool to see everyone prepping the food.
Be the first to ReplyI stumbled onto this gem about a month ago.
I have to say it is one of the best off-strip offerings in Las Vegas. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing the right amount of coverage. However, the food is the crowning jewel. The scallops, bucatini, and lamb neck are quickly becoming our favorites, but I reserve judgment until a few more visits to savor more of the menu. Cocktails are great and crafted beautifully. This is an actual value for local diners, but expect some tourists to get word and be drawn to commute out here. It is worth a visit

Makes amazing food and great suggestions on what to try. The service is on point and really good cocktails as well.

Food: 3/5 Flavor was average and the portion was really small. I enjoyed the sauce on oyster and the octopus the most. Food came out really slow. Service: 5/5 Attentive and friendly. Had some nice convo with some of the servers. Ambiance: 3.5/5 nice medium size restaurant with a smart casual dress code. But the tables are really close to each other and I can hear the convo next to my party.

I have been wanting to try this place out for a while and finally made it yesterday. Our reservation was at 5 p. We were promptly seated in this area which looked liked an alley. Tables weren't close to each other. You can literally touch the plates on the next table. You can hear everyone's conversation. Not very good if you want to have a quiet and relaxing dinner in an "upscale" restaurant. Service - overall good but nowhere great. We saw our server twice, to take our order and when he gave us the check. Please be aware that they automatically added a 20% gratuity to your check..I didn't appreciate that. Food was good but not great, especially considering the price and serving size. My wife ordered the Lamb Neck. We took most of it home and threw it away the next day.
Be the first to ReplyMy second time with Edo.
This time we designed to do testing menu and yes, we not disappointed!! Foods are beautiful and delicious every single dashed. The service is very nice and kind, that they tell you about the story and what they make from. For this restaurant they do have a very nice Gin drink, that I always ordered. This one of the best Spain's restaurants for me in town and I would like you to come and try it, when you here in town.
Be the first to ReplyGreat vibe.
Very trendy. Tasty tapas menu with fun twists, not just your standard menu. Waiters were attentive and well versed on menu items.

I came to Anima by Edo for a birthday celebration and enjoyed the dinner we had here. The restaurant is tucked away in a quiet residential plaza called the Gramercy. We started off with drinks. I got a spicy margarita cocktail called "Spicy Stories" which was delicious! We opted for the tasting menu and added on the Massachusetts U10 scallops. The tasting menu started with a gazpacho which was nice and refreshing and lovely roasted tomato base flavor. The first course was the Peruvian scallops were delicious. It was seasoned in Tom' Kha sauce and lemongrass which gave it a wonderful southeast asian fragrance. 2nd one was smoked hamachi wrapping foie gras. This was amazing. The smoked hamachi had such great flavor and the foie gras was perfectly smooth and creamy and umami. Next two courses were the Okinawa sweet potato and artichoke salad. Both were a bit forgettable dishes. The salad needed improvement. The leafy greens were quite bitter and didn't seem curated or procured well. The sweet potato dish was just what it sounds like... a piece of baked sweet purple potato. Next we had spinach and ricotta ravioli and canelon. These were quite delicious and we enjoyed the homemade pastas. Then the added scallop dish was served. I do usually like scallops and this was decent but nothing spectacular. Last dish was pork cheek. The was delicious and the pork cheek was so nice soft and tender. Overall the tasting menu was not bad but does have room for improvement. I wouldn't say it blew me away but we enjoyed it overall still
Be the first to ReplyThis is my absolute new favorite restaurant! Strip quality
This is my absolute new favorite restaurant! Strip quality food at a local location. The iberico here is superb. The scallops are to die for. Must try the Truffle cavatelli and the sprouted cauliflower. Everything on the menu is an absolute hit.Joe and his staff are amazing. I will definitely be dining here on the regular. Thanks for such an amazing experience.

1 star for service but food was mediocre - not sure why so many good reviews? We ordered the prix fixe menu and was completely disappointed with every dish. Taste was completely off as dishes were either too salty or too acidic. We spent $250 (no drinks) and was very dissatisfied with our experience.

I don't often go to restaurants with tapas because I'm never sure if I'm going to be satisfied with tiny portions. This place did not disappoint, although there was only 2 of us. We started with some bread with tomato and anchovies. I thought I was going to get anchovy spread with the bread, but we got 4 anchovies instead... which is great because I love anchovies anyway, but not what I was expecting. The menu did say 4 anchovies... I just thought 4 anchovies were in spread form... anyway, I have no one to blame except myself for the confusion... hahaWe ordered patatas bravas, foie gras terrine, and washugyu beef tartare next. The foie gras terrine was our favorite out of all the items we ordered. Last, we ordered the duck and foie gras agnolotti and Dover sole. Duck and foie gras agnolotti came out with some nice presentation and the flavor was good. The dover sole was my least favorite because it didn't taste fresh and texture was kind of dry.I'd still go back for the foie gras terrine and hanger steak.

We've been blessed to have had some amazing food experiences. The tasting menu and wine paring at Anima was, bar none, the very best. Thank you to Julio and Mr. Mikulich and all other staff. Compliments to the obviously amazing chef. Cannot more highly recommend.
Be the first to ReplyThe food is average , good service and good drinks.
We had the tasting course with two girlfriends and myself, the steak was chewy, and not very good. The pasta was amazing and all the smaller courses were good. The tuna was too thick and chunky.

Anima by Edo was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. We were celebrating several birthdays together and initially was provided a private room. Service was impeccable and thorough. The food dishes were flavored extremely well and with great presentations too. Very happy that the service team surprised us with a huge birthday dessert with a lot of fan fair. 10 out of 10 in my books and will be coming back in the future.
Be the first to ReplyGreat wine and service.
Nice small plates variety. Love it will be back. Newest location another on Spring Mountain.

An upgrade in terms of facility compared to the original EDO in Chinatown. Same delicious food though. Servers are really knowledgeable and happy to offer recommendations based on your likes.

Angry, because I waited so long to dine here! Omg! What a great place. From the food, the knowledgeable (doesn't even do it Justice) food and wine staff. I was here for a private event, and sometimes with large crowds, food and service can suffer....but not here. Everything was just amazing. Can't say enough about this beautifully appointed restaurant. We will be back, soon.

A group of us previously went to EDO's other restaurant and loved it, so when we heard there was a new offshoot called Anima by EDO, we had to try it. ย The location for Anima is incredible, with a great ambiance and mood. ย Sitting down, we were greeted by friendly staff and even the little things like the silverware was very clean, modern, stylish. Everything felt like it was in place and belonged. The person taking care of us, named Olivia, was simply amazing! ย Her passion was evident, as she was on top of everything: being prompt, friendly, and professional - she took care of us and made us laugh along the way. ย Her attention to detail was made clear by recommending what entrees and drinks (which she batted 1000, everything was excellent) to making sure that our dishes and silverware were changed out with whatever new entree was presented in order to make sure nothing would interfere with its taste, or taking the time out to share and talk with us to create a personable and friendly environment. She was amazing in making us feel like we were the only ones there at Anima, as she proactively ensured our dining experience was never stalled due to waiting (even things like refilling our waters, she was extremely attentive to us and it never went unnoticed). ย The food was delicious, almost to the point where each meal brought out made us laugh and smile - we had the octopus which was grilled to perfection, the eggplant parmesan, which Olivia recommended and was one of the definitive highlights for meals I've ever had, the short ribs, which were so tender a spoon could've cut them, and ended with the flan, which melted in our mouths. ย The entire meal was perfectly paced, with each portion brought out at flawless intervals, allowing us to enjoy fully the tastes and savor the body of each meal. The bitter and pitted cocktail was incredible, quite possibly the greatest cocktail I've ever had. ย I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will continue to recommend it to my friends and family as well! ย As we said our goodbye to Olivia, she made us feel like she was hosting us at a dinner party, making sure to individually say goodbye to us and making us feel we were leaving her home. ย Thank you Anima, the entire staff, and Olivia for making this one of the best meals and experiences I've ever had and we'll definitely see you again!

Had the tasting menu. It was excellent! Fresh high quality with very interesting and tasty sauces and seasoning. I think the pasta was my favorite. Homemade and darn near perfect consistency and cooked properly. Everything was really good. Olivia was our server and she was awesome. All staff were personable and service was excellent!

Finally EDOs in the west side!!!!!this restaurant have the best tasting menu in ย Las Vegas, we are regulars and we always enjoy the food from the best MICHELIN STAR CHEFF OSCAR, is always good to know that your food is made from someone who's whole life is being dedicated to pleased his customers, OSCAR makes everything enjoyable and his kindness is beyond the 5 stars he really deserves in this review, service was top notch, clean restaurant and good vibe's, definitely will comeback with the whole family next time. Don't forget the Gin & Tonic's are good to paired with your food and the pata bravas so crispy will melt your mouth, until next time. Soon of course.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing place for Italian food! The interior is very nice
Amazing place for Italian food! The interior is very nice and service is great. I love the giant painting of the octopus on the wall. They have a wide variety to choose from on their menu. I tried the chef's menu and it's a great option if it's your first time here. Chef's tasting menu is $70 per person and comes with 8 items. You can add an extra item Kaluga caviar & eggs for $18 and a bone marrow to go with your pasta for $12. I recommend to add both. The Kaluga caviar and eggs is one of the most interesting things I have tried. The texture and taste is so amazing. And the bone marrow tastes really good when you mix with the pasta. Other items that came with the tasting menu that I really enjoyed are was the tuna sashimi, croquetas, braised short rib, and both of the pastas (maltagliati and truffle cavatelli). The biggest highlight was definitely the braised short rib, it was really flavorful and tender. Even if you don't get the chef's tasting menu, if I had to suggest one item to order, it would be the short ribs. I could eat a whole pound of this! Haha The dessert, Granita, was also very delicious. It's a strawberry shaved ice with popcorn mousse.Overall this is a fantastic place to eat on a date night or with friends. Food, service and ambiance is amazing!
Be the first to ReplyEDO is amazing so I was pumped to try this place.
The service... out of this world. Everyone who worked there seemed to have a specialty/role but pitched in to give great service, engage with guests, and provide knowledge on the menu. You HAVE to get the 30-Day Dry Aged Striploin Carpaccio. It was my favorite thing aside from the Branzino I ordered. The Flight to Brazil(?) drink was great. Our waiter made a great wine recommendation for dinner and it was phenomenal. Overall, amazing experience and I'm so so glad they're able to appropriately staff & have strong team members along with the amazing food. Will be back, neighbor! (No pics bc the ones on here are already true to the plate)
