Could not recommend this place more highly, especially if you're looking for a fun "date night." The worst thing I can say about the food is that the cheesecake was just okay. Everything else was off the charts delicious, including the cocktails. The server we had was professional but nice. We're counting the days until we go back.

Incredible dinner experience!! The entire restaurant was decorated with beautiful butterfly theme and was so lovely. We tried a few of the specials on offer and all of them were outstanding!! The food was quite impressive, portions are super larger and the service was also wonderful. We will definitely be back soon!

This place was so cute and fun! I lovedddd the music and the vibe in general! They had convenient valet two doors down from the restaurant. My husband and I had their mocktails and it was so cute and fun. They gave us hats to wear. The restaurant was cozy and it felt family oriented. The food was delicious. They had homemade garlic butter and the bread tasted fresh. We had pasta of course and enjoyed it! I will definitely be back for another theme!

Great food and atmosphere! I had my birthday dinner here and it was a really fun place to take a group of friends. There are lots of fun springtime decorations up right now. The specialty spring cocktails were AMAZING. Highly recommend coming here!!

My wife and I joined friends here the other night before a show at Center Stage, and it was a fun night out! The wait staff was incredibly kind, the decor is kitschy in all the best ways, and the food was good but not great. The kitchen sent several gratis dishes in addition to what we ordered, but none of it other than my steak and mashed potatoes were particularly great, so the food itself is a 3 star level but the service was a 5 star level. We have a lot of other places that are ahead of any plan to come here again, but if you're looking for a fun double date place this was definitely a great one, and it was reasonably close to the Center Stage Theater so that we weren't late for our show (despite some awful driving on my part!).

Do NOT come here. It is just a cash grab. The most bland tasting food for a ridiculous amount of money (they add group gratuity and force everyone to get their own dish i.e. no sharing)! Drinks were mediocre and overpriced... you are just paying to look at the decorations. Turn away while you have the chance!

One of my favorite spots in Atlanta now! I came with my family for my birthday and it did not disappoint. The ambiance is so welcoming and the decor is so fun. We went on the very first day they had their new theme, butterflies & botanicals. I got the gnocchi vodka and it was so delicious and fresh. At a certain point in the night the music switched from classic Italian to fun 80s disco tunes, which my parents loved. We all loved our meals and got an excellent tiramisu at the end. Our servers made us feel so special and kept our drinks filled all night. Will definitely be back soon!

They make you buy a $30+ app even if you are getting multiple drinks. Food is ok at best. Empty even though it is "impossible" to get a reservation. Will not come back. Also added 20% gratuity for a group of 5.
Be the first to ReplyOh my dear lord.
What an epic friggin place. The staff was cooler than I'll ever hope to be. Cooler than public school teenagers! The atmosphere was one of mystique and whimsy. The food was on point. The patrons were a mix of LA cool & old lady groups. My wife and I were ushered through the cool LA types and into the back room where we got seated among the old ladies - where our lame asses probably belong. We shared a perfectly prepared steak, salad and pasta with a coupe of non-alcoholic cocktails to wash it all down. It's really a cool place. I took the first available reservation - two weeks out to get an 8pm table for two. When we arrived, we had to wait outside while a young woman smoked A freshly rolled joint right next to us. In my lame ass head, I just thought; "I will never be that cool". After we left Amore, I just kept thinking; " i wasn't even that cool in high school " lol

I love everything about Amore! The food, the atmosphere, the people- nothing to complain about! Highly recommend the gnocchi
Be the first to ReplyI mean listen- you go for the vibe.
It's very festive and fun for a birthday dinner or something. I had lobster ravioli and it was good, it was fine, nothing special. Did enjoy the loud dance tunes they played later in the night.
Be the first to ReplyI really tried to like this place.
.. parking was stressful, you either HAVE to do valet (the worker was rude) or hope that street parking is available nearby. The decor is cute, but it's already so small & crammed inside that it's very overwhelming (an average person has to duck to walk around). I could only find 1 bathroom & it was dirty. The online menu isn't updated & the prices are more expensive than what's advertised. I was so shocked & disappointed at how bland my $30 pasta was. Our waiter was attentive which was nice, but I noticed he took our shared wine bottle away before it was empty (that was an $80 bottle...) The icing on the cake was watching 2 waiters bump into each other, causing the garnish on our dessert to fall on the floor, after which they picked it up, put it back on the plate, & brought it to the table like nothing happened... I truly don't understand how this place so popular or why it's so expensive after this terrible experience!

Ambience is really cool but would not recommend if you're at all claustrophobic! Waitress and staff were really nice. The arugula salad was really good and fresh. The meatballs were good too. We were not impressed with the chicken picatta. Cocktail was nice!

Amore E Amore has some of the best food and atmospheres! Make sure to book a reservation in advance, as this place is really popular. We visited during the Christmas season and were greeted with Santa hats. Everyone in the restaurant was wearing a hat, so the vibe was really fun, yet romantic and elegant. Not to mention, the interior holiday decorations were over the top in the best way possible. Upon arriving, we parked with the valet. The food was outstanding! There were complimentary, warm bread loafs with the tastiest garlic butter on the side. We couldn't resist asking for more bread and butter. I tried the Miller Family's Favorite Pasta and was blown away. The creamy pink sauce is with bits of meat was amazing and the portion is quite large. I had enough for leftovers the next day. My sister also enjoyed the rigatoni bolognese! If you have friends in town that you want to impress or celebrating an occasion, definitely come to Amore E Amore!!

I get that it's supposed to be an experience, but it is a sensory overload. So many decorations. The music is loud enough that you can't hear the person across the table from you. The service started pretty good. We were seated quickly with our reservation. We got the filet mignon ($50) and the chicken parmigiana $30). First flag was that I was informed that the chicken parmigiana was served without pasta. I have never heard of that--maybe I have just been lucky enough to only ever go to some fine restaurants that include at least some kind of pasta with their parmigiana. I can only guess that this means that the eggplant parmigiana is just a fried eggplant with cheese, but I digress. The ciabatta bread was warm and tasty, the highlight of the meal as it turned out. The second flag was that the food came out less than 5 minutes after we ordered it. It was hot, but that's about all the good I can say for it. The chicken parmigiana was slopped over with some kind of chewy cheese that covered two large, thin cuts of fried chicken bathed in sauce from a Spaghettios can. It was not good. My wife's steaks looked good, but were okay, but just barely okay--that is until it hit her stomach and made her run to the restroom to "give it back." While my wife was gone, the server came over and asked if we were enjoying the meal. I was honest and told him no, that we didn't like the food and that it was pretty bad (it tasted like cafeteria food, which can be good if you're in a cafeteria and expecting that instead of dropping a Benjamin on what is supposed to be good Italian food). The server quickly picked up the plates and told me that we could just leave then. Before my wife came back from the bathroom, the "guy in charge" came over and asked if he could go personally make something for us because our tastes were obviously off. He said that he has been eating chicken parmigiana there daily for 14 years and it is always great. I agreed that our tastes must just be vastly different and, since we were already asked to leave, that we would find somewhere else to eat. It was a polite exchange and I thanked him for the conversation. Probably deserves one star, but I gave it two since at least someone cared and came to talk to me and the warm bread was good. It was an experience, but one I hope to forget soon. Not good for kids. Not good for talking. Not good for eating high-quality and delicious food. I'm sure there are people who love this place (it was packed, after all), but I definitely don't recommend it.

Came here with my girlfriend during Halloween and it was such a lovely date. The decor is impeccable and the food was delicious. The music, the vibes. All around 10/10 I will absolutely be coming back as often as I can!!
Be the first to Replywe had an absolute blast here.
Great for a special occasion! these pics are from the winter with their holiday decor, but they always have a very maximalist vibe every time I visit which I love! they do themed pop-ups a lot which keeps it fresh. Wine, drinks, beer was incredible. We got plenty to eat and everyone enjoyed their food immensely. The lobster ravioli was amazing! Service was great, they were super nice and answered all of our questions. I'll be back!
Be the first to ReplyThis is my third time visiting Amore e Amore.
The ambiance is one of a kind--it's eclectic, eccentric, and just a fun place to be. It was unfortunately not my best visit, but my overall rating reflects an average of the visits. My best advice is to keep it to the pasta section--my favorite dishes by far. We mostly ventured off this time and I wished I'd stuck to my tried-and-true pasta section. My arugula salad was outstanding and my wine was good--the bread and ultra garlic-y butter are out of this world. Everything else was just solid. The service is kinda tag-team which ends up being a little disjointed. The result of everyone attending to your table--my second glass of wine didn't arrive until I was almost done eating. All that said, I'd definitely go back (and order something super-carb-loaded) which is where they shine.

A lovely and eclectic little Italian spot with delicious food and excellent service. This isn't your big fancy Italian place, it is a homey little spot that feels like you're eating at grandma's house. Highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyTook my husband out for his birthday.
One of his favorite meals is chicken parm, so I chose this restaurant. This place was a unique vibe!!!. The music is loud but fun ,so if you aren't into that , this may not be a place for you. We had a table for two and the table was sooooo small I had no elbow room let alone room for much of anything. My butter knife flew off the right side and my clutch purse flew off the left side lol. Next time I'm going to bring two extra people because you have to have a party of atleast 4 to get a booth. I had the shrimp scampi and a strawberry Moscow mule, it was so delicious. My husband enjoyed his chicken parm and was really happy. He said the restaurant reminded him of back home New York. Very pleasant and interesting experience. I loved the decor which they change out per season/holiday. We experienced the saint pattys/ wizard of oz theme but will definitely be back to see what other stops they pull out. FYI. We had to flag someone down to be seated but wasn't a huge deal.

We had a most wonderful experience at Amore E Amore this evening! I cannot say enough about the delicious food, attentive and caring wait staff, and welcoming atmosphere of this establishment. The owner, Mama Gail, stopped to talk with us, and made us feel really at home. I enjoyed a delicious chicken picatta, my husband had a rigatoni with lamb, and our friends had the sole livornase and chicken picatta. We all enjoyed our entrees along with lovely wine recommended by our server. We will be returning soon!

We drove from Woodstock to check out the Wizard Of Oz theme and the dining and it was beyond awesome. All of our dishes were delicious and the service was over the top. The bread is homemade and is best I've seen in any Italian restaurant. Mama Gail really knows how to run a top notch restaurant and we enjoyed meeting her and her staff. Do yourself a favor and come here. The Wizard Of Oz theme is on till July and it's fantastic. We are definitely coming back!

On the plus side, this place has an amazing atmosphere! They change their theme every few months and when I went it was Wizard of Oz. They do it right with everything from wall and ceiling decor to fun dessert names! However the service we got was not good, and the food while nice was overpriced for what it was. They also have a policy that everyone in the party has to get their own entree/pasta, which can be annoying.
Be the first to ReplyThe ambiance and service was great.
The music in the front room was so loud and we were seated right by the speaker so we couldn't hear each other at all. We asked for another table and they moved us almost immediately. Servers were super nice and friendly. It was wizard of oz themed which was really cute too!! The food was just alright. I felt the Alfredo and vodka sauces were kind of bland. The chicken parm was good but I thought it was odd that we had to order spaghetti separately as a side since most places the chicken parm comes with spaghetti. Really overpriced for mediocre food
